Me: Hey shadows, I'm here with two chapters for the price of one! I felt bad for leaving y'all on a cliffhanger for like a month, so hopefully, this makes up for that.
Silvia: While we've been silent, we have been busy! We've made a new cover and will be posting a lot more this month! So, stay tuned in for more exciting chapters and new stories!
Me: Let's begin these chapters already. Like always, I own only my plot and OC. Any other property featured either belongs to Disney or Square Enix. Without further ado, let the chapter begin!
Chapter 45 - Party Crashers
"Phoenix! Nico! There you are!" a voice shouted.
Turning around, Phoenix and I found Chole rushing up to us. She stopped mid-way trying to catch her breath. Quickly, we rushed to her side trying to see what was wrong. She reeked of worry, yet her aura held more fear than anything.
"What's wrong, Chole?," I asked.
"Max and I need your help," Chole said, regaining her breath. "Come with me. There's no time to waste."
Following her, we dodged party guests one after the other, before going into a narrow hall where very few people drifted. At the end of the hall to the left, Chole opened the door letting Phoenix and I walked in first. Scanning the room, I noticed it was kinda like Cammy's study, but a bit more cozy - I froze staring at the wooden desk, that Max sat behind blood running from her nose.
"Are you okay, Max?," I asked, worriedly. Even if I didn't know her well, she seemed harmless and kind like Sally from Halloween Town. Did she get hit trying to stop Chole's fight?
"I'm fine, just a little dizzy," Max said, grabbing a tissue and wiping away the blood.
"Are you sure that's it? Your nose is bleeding," Phoenix said. "Did you find a hot guy around here like Nico?" My cheeks began to heat up, as I felt his teasing glare.
Chole snickered, as she closed the door. "Funny guess. Sadly, not the reason through."
"Yeah… but, there were plenty of hot guys and ladies. Just none of them my type," Max chuckles weakly, then cleared her throat. "No one did this to me, instead this is the result of using my powers in such a risky way. The nose bleeding and dizziness is because I rewound time too foolishly, instead of using the picture from earlier. But, I had no choice since the picture was torn in that future." Max bit her lip for a moment, then continued. "The monsters that attacked City Hall three days ago… they're about to invade this place."
Phoenix and I jumped. "WHAT!"
"The Unkindness… are coming here!," I shouted.
"Guys, inner voice," Chole scolded, pointing to the door.
I gasp, realizing someone could walk by and try to overhear if someone heard shouting. "Right. Sorry."
Max looks down at her hands, "That's what they're called - Unkindness. The name is fitting, especially for those monsters that hurt and killed several last time, along with what happened in the timeline I escaped from." She exhales, before launching to her feet. "Guys, we need to get everyone out of the hut in the next thirty to forty minutes. The Unkindness are heading this way as we speak to crash the party," Max announced.
"But, how do we get people out in time? Besides, even if we escape, the Unkindness can still attack us on the beach. We'll be targets, moving no less, but they could still kill us!," I asked.
"...he's right," Chole said, sadly.
Max slammed her hands on the table. Her eyes wide and full of determination…. "What he says may be true, but the whole hut collapsing onto people is worse. At least on the beach, people can run and try to get to safety. Within here we're all trapped like rats in a cage! So, please, we have to save them and rewrite that event."
Phoenix nodded. "If we're going to make a break for it, then we need someone to protect us. All of us!" He pulled out a pair of silver rings, putting them on his fingers.
"Brass knuckles?," Chole breathed. "My mother said you were a fighter, but never did I believe it until now."
The vulpine smirked. "What's so hard to believe about it? Yeah, I'm lazy, but that doesn't rule me out as a fighter." He turned to Max, "While I was "hiding", I spotted a few... Um.. friends per se in the crowd. If there's anyone that can help protect everyone from the Unkindness then it's them."
Max looked at the clock then to him, "Please gather as many as you can, we only have thirty minutes left."
"I will!" Quickly, Phoenix left the room rushing for help.
Then, there were three.
"How are we going to disperse that crowd in the time we have left?" Chole asked.
"Simple. Chole, we use your gun," Max answered, coming from around the desk.
A gun?, I wondered. I'd never seen a gun before. What kind of weapon was it?
Chole stared at her, starstruck, then began to chuckle. "What? I don't have a gun on me, Max. I told you before I wouldn't buy one."
"Liar. And, I know it's a lie because when I was trying to get my camera back, your tank rose up revealing a revolver in your back pocket."
"Dammit. I've been outed," she breathed, pulling out a small silver gun."Fine, I have a revolver. But, it's for protection that's all."
"It is, but for today we need it to save everyone. All we need is two shots to ring off. It'll scare everyone enough to evacuate the hut. It's not the best plan. But, it'll work… At least I hope."
Chole groaned at the plan but nodded understanding what to do. "Alright, but if we hurt someone you better rewind. I'm not the best aimer y' know."
"Oh… I know," Max said.
Chole left out. Then, there were two.
Heading out after the punk, Max and I trailed after her keeping to the wall and avoiding others.
"Max, how far did you get before rewinding?," I whispered.
"Two hours at best. Why do you ask?"
We stop at the end of the hall, watching Chole enter the crowd. "I'm just wondering if anything else happened. For example, seeing the Mad Doctor or anyone suspicious."
"I saw someone, but she didn't seem evil or the one who caused the Unkindness. The woman wasn't fighting or anything. Instead, she was protecting Phoenix and you from harm. When I approached her, she said my name like she knew me and told me I had to make things right. I had to rewind time before the attack and save everyone here. She also told me… her name or more so her title - Keeper of Knowledge."
"Keeper of Knowledge?"
The name was familiar. I'd heard it before or mentioned, but I couldn't recall why they were important. Why was she protecting me? Did she use to know me? I don't remember anything about her, but the title alone makes me think she's important.
"Max, did she say another to you?," I asked her.
She looked back to me -
BANG!
She looked away as people began to scream and panic. People were beginning to run. "The first shot has been fired!" Max said, grabbing my hand and dragging me with her.
"Wait, Max! What else did she say!"
"Nico, we don't have time! I'll explain more about it later!" she shouted back.
Bursting through the doors, Max and I ran onto the beach, feeling the cool air hit our faces. People were still shouting and screaming, and far behind us, I heard another gunshot rang out. Chole had done it and now she was running out as well, but as I looked behind us I couldn't see her in the panic. I couldn't find her or Phoenix. She stopped, letting go of my hand, turning back. She was biting her lip, and her aura was thick gray - meaning she was anxious as ever.
CAW! CAW!
And now, I know why! Staring up into the ombre sky, two huge V flew over the beach. At first, it looked like normal seagulls, until they began to plummet to the ground like comets. I wanted to scream, but my voice was trapped as my body became numb.
"EVERYBODY GET DOWN!" someone yelled out.
Quickly, Max and I hit the sand along with everyone else. The ground shook one after another, causing many to holler even more. Peering up, I found myself seeing seven feet tall monochrome ravens and owls all around us, all baring black eyes just like others from City Hall. A chill went down my spine as a raven met my eye.
"What are those things!" "Run for your life!"
THUMP!
Looking back, I saw a much ten feet tall owl upon the hut, crushing it completely in one sitting. My heart sunk and hoped no one was left inside.
"Ahh!" Looking back I found Max being picked up by waist by a raven's beak. She hit the beak trying to break free, and she was doing great - then I saw it. Her arms began to slow, then fall defeated.
I gasped. "MAX!"
Before I could move, the raven took off and more birds settled around me. Crap! I thought as they readied their talons and beaks. I'm pinned! What do I do against a flock? Would my barrier be strong enough to stand up to all of them? Ugh! What should I do!
Now was the time I wished Ashley was a hybrid too or with me. The same for my other friends. They could fight for me with magic and weapons. I could only rely on darkness… something I couldn't control quite yet!
A talon came my way. I winced, "Reflect!" A barrier came up just in time, bouncing back the talon. Yet the others decided to join in and now the barrier was cracking! I knew it! It's not strong enough! As another talon approached, I gritted my teeth -
"Sorry, but there can only be one owl in this city!"
Looking up, I saw an arrow falling and met pierced through the owl's talons. Along with Azula free-falling from the sky, before safely rolling upon the sand and standing up. In her hand, she bore a silver bow and held an arrow in the other. "It seems I made it just in the nick of time." She fired off an arrow, hitting the owl again and quickly reloaded. The owl began to fade, causing a raven tried to enact revenge -
Suddenly the air picked up around Azula, as she read the arrow then launched it into the raven's face. Another down. She added three more arrows and shot them into the air, each hitting their target. All faded at once, leaving me speechless and in awe... Whoa!
"T-Thanks for the save," I stammered.
"I'll take munny as a thank you," Azula smirked.
I frowned. "Ummm... I don't have any munny."
The fashionista chuckled. "I had a feeling." She readied her bow, placing another arrow between the string. "Phoenix told me that the Unkindness were about to invade and that we needed to clear a path to the main road, so people could get out of here. I don't know where he went, but please get out of here."
"I can't. I need to find Max! She's been captured by a raven!," I told her.
She shot off the arrow hitting an owl's chest."Sorry, Nico, it's best you stay out of the fray. You don't have a weapon and just using barriers won't get you far. You need to evacuate like everyone else."
"I'm sorry too. But, I have to save her!" Running away from Azula, I hurried to find that kidnapping raven!
"NICO!" Azula yelled, but I was already too far gone.
~ Meanwhile… ~
Jerking the door open, Branden barged into the lab -
"Master, I felt a huge presence. The Unkindness are back!," He exclaimed.
Sitting at the counter, two beakers in hand, Meredith nearly dropped them as she heard the news. She groaned, setting them down. "Worst timing as ever." Meredith sighed, putting down her beaker. Beginning to get up, she took off her lab coat, revealing her a red sleeve top and jeans underneath. Hanging her coat on her chair, she slipped on her shoes, grumbling to herself. "It seems evil waits for no one, huh?"
"What do you need me to do?" He asked.
Walking past him, she headed toward her sister's study. "Tell Nico to stay here and get Phoenix so we can go," she ordered.
"Ummm… they went out earlier, master," Branden answered.
"For the love of -" She facepalm, turning around to face him. "Do you know where they went?"
"No, but I fear they're going to go directly into danger. Knowing Phoenix, he's at the scenes already," He says, annoyed. When is that mutt going to learn? We can't always charge into battle.
"So much for laying low," Meredith said, continuing to march to the study. At the door she pulled out her key, unlocking the door and opening it wide. Going in, she picked up her sister's famed picture of Camille's Graduation Day, clicking a button on the back.
The study began to tremble, books and shelves shaking as the back wall began to open up. Within the hidden room, various swords from curved blade to straight laid on racks waiting to be picked up. While Branden stared at a blue and black sabar, Meredith gravitated toward a black bladed katana with a white cloth wrapped around the hilt. "Been a while since I've used my precious Chevalier Noir, but now's a better time than any."
"But, master -" "I can't stay in the shadows anymore, nor can I run….," she interrupted. "Sooner or later, the Guardians of Darkness will come for me…. It's a matter of time. So until then, I'm fighting to protect the ones I care about. So, this world doesn't fall as well."
Branden frowned, "I know I can't do much, so I'll go ahead and tell Oswald what's going on. "Then, please hurry to the beach. I'll get Oswald in the meantime."
Nodding, Meredith attached her sword to her back. With a flick of the wrist, she opened a corridor of darkness across from her about to walk into it -
"Master, please bring Nicholas back safely," He pleaded.
She looks back, giving a small grin. "I will. Don't you worry, Brandy."
Watching her disappear and the corridor close, the Red Opera was left to himself, knowing that time was the one thing that wasn't even on their side.
~ Back at the beach ~
Running, dodging person after person, I felt my breath lessened each step and my body yelling to stop -
Yet I couldn't! Not now. Not. Ever. Again. Max was in trouble. And, while she was a reaper - NO, a stranger - I refused to leave her to die. No, I can't lose her or anyone here too.
Unexpectedly, something tackled me causing me to hit the ground, tasting sand in my mouth again. I looked up to see Jim getting up a cutlass in hand, slashing an owl's wing. The bird cried in pain, backing away. Jim looked down at me, quickly helping me back to my feet. I began to spit out sand and wipe my face.
"Careful Nico. You almost got hit," Jim scolded.
"Sorry, I was busy looking for someone! Have you seen a brunette haired girl kidnapped by a raven around here?"
"Yeah, Phoenix went after her," he told me.
I breathed, a weight lifting from my chest. "He did! Great! Which way did he - Ahhh!"
The owl's wings came at us, hitting us both down. Quickly, we began to get up, just as something came around like a boomerang hitting the owl, leaving it frozen and dead. The weapon is the ground.
"Hey, Jim! Don't say words that don't apply to you," a voice entered. The same one that called Yuri and Azula. I looked up to see the hostess, who picked up a weapon - a battle-ax in her hands.
"YOU can fight!," I blurted out.
She gave a devious smile, "These birds invaded my party! I will punish them for breaking up our fun!" Her aura was wrathful, something boiling in and out of her. Note: Never piss her off!
Grabbing his cutlass, Jim rushed in attacking the raven approaching. She turned to me, "Oh, I don't believe we've met. Kally Shapiro, a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She winked. "And, who might you be?"
"Kally, stop flirting and fight!" Jim yelled.
She giggled, "To be continued!"
Rushing back into the fray, Kally threw her ax hitting the bird's face. Catching it in midair, she slashed downward leaving a deep scar across their left side. All I could do was stare in awe, however, remembered that I had no time to stick around.
Thanks for the save guys! But, it's time for me to save someone!
Dodging splashing sand from nearby attacks, I contend my search. With the information that Phoenix was trying to save her, I began to sniff out his darkness. Too much fear! How am I going to single out his heart? With no other choice, I allowed my antes to move around me, no longer pinned down. Singular hearts formed around me and I picked up so much negativity, until his and another's. Wasting no time, I rushed over. Slowing down I forced my antennas down, coming upon the same owl that sat on the hunt and the kidnapper raven. Two people laid upon the ground, panting.
"Phoenix! Chole!"
"Nico? You're safe… that's good," Phoenix said, staggering to get to his feet.
"Nevermind me. What's that owl?," I shouted.
"These two are both alphas. I've chipped away at their health, yet we'd need an army or someone stronger. We need to save Max… yet-" He looks to Chole, who holds her arm tightly. "It's best you retreat Chole. Nico, can you help her to safety?"
"No, I'm going to fight," Chole said, trying to stand. Her bones cracked loudly, leaving her to fall down. "Ahh!"
"Now's not the time to be stubborn. You need aid!" the vulpine retorted."Nico, you need to take Chole and run!"
"You need aid too, Phoenix!," I argued. "Take Chole and run for help. I can fight them off for a bit as you escape. I might not be able to do much, but I'm not useless either! I'll save her, get going!"
The vulpine opened his mouth to retaliate but shook his head. "Fine, I'll leave them to you! Don't get yourself killed kiddo!" Picking up Chole within his arms, Phoenix rushed off leaving me with my own kind. We're different in creation, yet both associated with Jade Mafia. Today, I was the Hunter…. And they were my prey.
"This is where you end… I'm sorry, but I can't let you kill her. Not my new friend!," I raise my fists. Bit by bit my body became colder and lighter. My antennas moved around, I geared up for battle.
Leaping into battle, I sharpened my fingernails by six inches, slashing at the owl and the raven. The owl squawked, about to hit me - I crossed my arms together blocking the hit and being stuck back. Hitting the ground, I tumbled around sand invading my mouth again, but once I stopped rolling all I could do was get back up again, racing at the raven slashing at their chest. I couldn't worry about the Owl, so I was forced to save Max!
The raven opened it's wings throwing icicles out. "Reflect!" My barrier blocked the ice just in time, but not fast enough to block earth coming right at me as well! I had no time to react as a boulder cut through the barrier, hitting me in the stomach. I feel down, spitting up a bit.
I groaned. Ice and Earth? More elements? Great! Add fire and I'll be facing Neal all over again! I stared at the two alphas. They don't move much… and I'm faster than them. If I put all my attention on the owl, I won't have any strength left. I have to attack the raven quickly before the owl makes a move!
Racing toward the alphas, the owl began breaking the ground apart throwing boulders at me, yet avoided them left and right, until jumping at the raven. "Mega Claw!" My left hand's claw expanded into a dark hand. Slashing the raven's body, it squawked in pain. Its wings hitting me back.
In midair, I felt my body grow heavier. Crap! My powers are fading! I've used up so much in that last attack…. But it's weakened. I can take it out… but how?
Suddenly I remembered something that the organization used to do when they were exhausted and needed to keep fighting. A final strike to change the tides! Using my darkness, I launched myself upward gearing up a final counter. My body became so light as a feather, slowly blurring as I came down like a comet, slicing the raven's wings and body. It tried to summon ice to attack me but ended up hitting itself, as I vanished before its eyes attacking it's back and zipping around clawing its neck. I stripped the raven of their feathers, before landing one more claw on its dark heart. It's being frozen completely paralyzed before it's beginning to fade.
As the raven vanished, Max fell. With the last of my limit, I caught her in the air and brought her down gently. Landing upon the ground, I coughed harshly. My body aching, along with a sharper pain in my heart. My eyes blurred a little. I fell to my knees, breathing heavy and so weak I couldn't even move anymore. Crap! Overdid it! I looked at Max, who was unconscious in my arms. At least she's safe now… but not for long.
Several enormous boulders came at us -
A black wave came from out of nowhere breaking the boulders in half. My eyes lifted amazed and surprised at the same time, as I turned around to see our savior - my eyes feel to a familiar face carrying a black sword. "Merry! What are you doing here?"
"Saving your ass for one," She scoffed.
"Heal!" A green glow surrounded Max and me. I felt better or at least more continuous and stronger. Meanwhile, Max began to move her lips and eyes, trying to awaken. Merry gave a deep sigh, "Let me finish this last one then we can get her to safety."
Last?
"Careful this ones an alpha! It's much stronger than it's peers!," I warned.
"To you that is. This is nothing," Merry said, yet ended up getting knocked back by a small boulder.
"Are you okay?"
The scientist coughed up sand, getting to her feet. "I'm fine, but now I'm even more pissed off by this flying rat!" Merry growled, walking toward the owl. "I wanted to observe you, my dear…. I guess I'll observe you as you die." Suddenly her darkness grew quickly, surging out of her!
"Her darkness? It spiked that fast!" a voice - the owl's voice shouted.
I gasped, It spoke!
Immediately, the air around Meredith grew enough to the point, the ground shook. Charging forward, a large crater was left behind as she launched forward. I couldn't even see her. I couldn't even sense or hear her. All I saw was the owl struggling to move as black waves hit them left and right. Then, a final large wave cut them in half, leaving them to vanish and Merry to reappear panting harshly. Her darkness levels returning to normal.
My barrier fell and all I could do was stare, my body trembling and eyes filling with joy. "We did it! We won!"

"WHAT! WE'RE BEING CHARGED!"
Sitting at the dining table, I stared at Branden, who was covered in a few bandages on his right arm and his right cheek. Wherever he was during the battle must've been hard since he didn't want to fight, so as a result, he was a hybrid punching bag. Part of me wanted to ask about what happened, but the fact that Oswald wanted us to pay a fine for protecting people made me so mad!
"Yes, sadly. Master Meredith and you did destroy half the beachside after all," Branden stated.
I crossed my arms, slumping down in my chair. So much for victory…
"We were only trying to protect people. Oswald surely should know that" I argued.
Branden sighed. "I'm sure he does, but property damage is still property damage."
"Ugh!"
Merry enters the room, setting a mug of fresh Hi-potion in front of Branden, then hand one to me."While I agree with damage, that's not the real problem here. Nico, your form in battle is horrible," she said, breaking away into another topic. "You're too open and the usage of darkness is used far too much."
I'm already hurt and pissed at Oswald. Why lecture me?
"You're not a demon, Nico. You're a hybrid. Your darkness is from your own heart, instead of around you meaning the way you use it needs to be split in half for defensive and offensive purposes. Three huge attacks leave you defenseless, especially without a weapon! You were lucky I found you two before that Alpha attacked."
She sighed, taking a sit down. "But, I will admit you did well saving Max and Chloe. Joyce is indebted to you and so is Oswald. You did well for a novice."
I looked down seeing myself in the Hi-Potion's reflection. "Even if I did, if you or anyone hadn't saved us, we'd have been killed. It's as you said, I'm reckless. I don't know how to fight properly or control my darkness. It even took me forever to master how to open a corridor and summon a barrier."
"Things are getting hectic right now and with Nico defense like this, maybe we should have him stay with Master Yen Sid until this mess is resolved," Branden said to Merry.
"What?," I say. I am not being shipped off to some stranger. Even if he gave me this ring, I'm not staying with some old geezer!
"I know what you're saying, Branden. It's not safe for him here, but neither is it safe out there. The Mad Doctor is not alone and he knows where Master Yen Sid lives. If he were to find Nico or you, he'd expose us. People are already scared of Heartless, we don't need to alarm them with the project either."
"So, what do we do?" Branden asked.
"Nicholas, you have a choice. Both I may deeply regret, but a choice," Merry said. She exhaled, looking me in the eye. "You can either stay with Camillie in Hollow Bastion or stay here and learn how to fight. Those are your only options so that we can keep an eye on your stabilization if it wavers."
Hollow Bastion… Ashley's homeworld? Or learn how to fight?
"The choice is all yours."
Either way, I'll be able to find out about the Fall of Radiant Garden and Ashley. However, only one way will let me find Cross… I bite my tongue, trying to figure out the best action. Then, my mind went quiet. A decision made.
With a gulp, I stood up. All eyes on me. "I chose to stay here and learn how to fight. Please, I want to protect myself and others."
Branden stared at me, worriedly. While Merry gave a coy smirk, standing up as well. "Something I was afraid you'd choose, but I understand why you'd want to fight. Heartless were born to fight over food, territory, and to even live. It's kill or be killed right?" She said, before touching her hilt.
In seconds, the end of the blade was at my nose. Her eyes held a darker red, soulless and cold."But, please note that I'm training you to protect others, not kill just to kill. If you go astray, I won't dare give mercy. Understand, Nicholas?"
I gasped."Y-Yes, Master Meredith." This feeling. It's the same as the one from the battle. Is this Meredith's true self? No mercy?
She put away her sword. "Good." She crosses her arms, giving a devious smile. "Then, it's settled you'll be my pupil."
I didn't know whether to be excited or scared that day…. But, looking back I should have been terrified for what was to come.
Elsewhere, three figures in red cloaks met at the beach staring down at all the craters, sand dunes, broken arrows, swords, and shields that lay shattered. One of them - a young female - sighed heavily.
"The plan was a complete bust thanks to that blue-haired bitch!" she shouted, stomping the ground. "We barely got any people hurt and killed! It was chaos, but not enough to strike true terror into this city! I told you we should've sent more Unkindness!"
"If we sent more Unkindness, they'd have died anyway. No matter the number, someone would have saved the day eventually," the second figure - a young male responded. "It was wiser to use ten Unkindness than forty."
"Even if they were to die, we could have attacked more of the beach! Taken out the harbor and inn would have caused more deaths!"
"Your bloodlust grows every day. How are you an angel again?," the boy laughed, "I mean how were you an angel again, oh fallen one?"
Underneath her hood, she gritted her teeth. "Shuddup!"
"Silence both of you," the last figure - another young female - ordered, turning back to them. "This mission was to test the second batch of Unkindness, who cares if there were no casualties today. The Mad Doctor only wanted data on how strong and destructive they were. However, from how easily they were defeated… I will report to the Mad Doctor to up their powers and capabilities." She reaches into her cloak, pulling out two small bags and tossing them to each. "It's 100000 each. You both did great on your mission posing as locals, but this isn't the end. We'll be in touch soon once phase two initiates."
= Chapter End =
Me: Things are heating up as Jade Mafia gears up to take over Starlight. Now that phase one has ended, a whole new terror awaits!
Silvia: Starting off with Max and Chole, something to clarify for those who don't know. When overused Max gets nosebleeds and becomes dizzy/can faint. She fainted during her battle to break free that is all. She is still alive! Next, Chole is a bit paranoid when it comes to people, so she carries a gun just in case someone plans to rob her or attack her.
Me: Moving onward, Nico has been practicing with the Book of Dark Arts and experimenting with his powers along with naming them. Now, his barriers are able to come up or down on his command, instead of waiting for it to vanish. Also, he's learned how to grow his nails into claws, something that remained when he became a hybrid. While most of his attacks are powerful, each of his powers drains his strength aka DP (Darkness Power), similar to MP, however, once Nico runs out of his darkness he reverts into a normal human until his strength returns.
The finisher used to defeat the Raven Unkindness is a Limit Break. Roxas' limit break to be more precise but has no rays of light or darkness. While in this form, Nico is unable to be touched since his being is translucent. From Roxas' training, Nico has seen the limit a lot of times, therefore, he can remember the technique, but cannot copy it to its fullest right now.
Silvia: Besides combat, things are heating up as Meredith shows her true nature and Nico becomes the person that he once feared.
Me: That -
(Suddenly a corridor of light appears blinding us both. A person comes out)
Kairi: You started without me!
