A/N Ok so when I started this, the Knights of Ren didn't have names so I gave them some, since TROS came out, they apparently have now been given names, but I will be sticking with my version for continuity's sake. Cheers.

Ben is crouched down, hidden behind some rocks, wholly focused on the small sand dune directly in front of him. He has a clear view of the hidden escape hatch from Jabba's old palace and is tamping down on his impatience with mild success. Rey is beside him and the squad of Resistance soldiers are hidden on the other side of the door waiting for their signal.
They hear the sound of the laser cannon barraging the fortress doors in the distance, and Ben glances over at Rey.
Apparently, it does work.
A few minutes later, sand starts collapsing downwards into a hole where the escape hatch is hidden.
Here we go.
Ben shifts his stance to one of attack as he sees two Knights of Ren rise out of the ground. Ben holds out a hand to stop Rey from lunging forward.
That's Mika and Haru. We should wait until we see my Mother and Zara and they're clear of the platform.
Rey nods at him and settles back again as the two Knights, on high alert, make their way forward to where a handful of sand speeders are waiting.
A few seconds later, Ben watches the platform rise again, and this time they see Zara in the lead, Kato holding Leia in chains, followed by Shiro. They warily walk a few steps away from the platform, towards the speeders and then Ben and Rey are leaping over the rocks towards them, lightsabers drawn.
Zara lets out a hateful hiss as she spots them and shoots at Ben with her blaster in one hand as her short, double saber blade slips into her other hand.
Ben vaguely acknowledges Kato nudging the back of Leia's leg and her dropping to the ground as he and Shiro turn to engage the legion of soldiers now attacking them from the opposite side.
Rey turns to take on Haru and Mika as Ben heads straight for Zara and crosses sabers with her as she discards the blaster to hold her saber with both hands.
They parry a few times and Zara spits at him.
"New look, Kylo? You look like an old Jedi." She taunts as he circles her and she lunges at him, quick as a sand cat. She retreats again with a satisfied smirk and Ben glances down at the line of blood seeping through the fabric on his bicep. He raises a brow at the small, sharp blade now in Zara's other hand and winces.
"Makes it so much easier to see your weaknesses."
Ben lets her talk but ignores her words. Zara always loved to hear herself talk and it's the one thing she can't seem to resist doing in a fight.
Rey?
He sends through the bond as he moves himself around until he's back-to-back with her.
Bit busy here, handsome.
She says as she lunges with her saber at one of the Knights behind him.
On my mark, spin with me, extinguish your saber and throw it sideways, hard.
He feels Rey working through what he said while keeping a defensive stance and then she sends an affirmative.
Zara is mid-taunt when Ben signals Rey and they spin around each other in a smooth motion, Rey tossing her lightsaber sideways and Ben swinging wide with his own to slash across a surprised Haru's midriff. At the same time, Ben reaches out to guide Rey's saber through the air in an arc towards Zara.
In the blink of an eye, Rey watches her lightsaber fly around Zara and disappear behind her.
Zara is sneering and opens her mouth to taunt them, no doubt, when the blue saber blade bursts through the horrible woman's chest. Everyone in play freezes and turns to watch Zara's shocked face crumple as she hits her knees and falls forward onto the sand, dead.
Leia stands behind the fallen form of the Master of the Knights of Ren and extinguishes her father's saber before tossing it back to a wide-eyed Rey.
Ben doesn't move from his defensive stance at Rey's back as the rest of Knights back away. Haru is clutching his chest on the ground and Ben kicks his weapon out of reach as Mika and Shiro grab Haru under the shoulders and pull him away from the fight.
"You need to contact whoever is guarding your daughter." Kato shouts over at Ben as the resistance soldiers surround the General and the Knights back away quickly towards the speeders.
Ben and Rey whip around to look at Kato in alarm.
"Zara has an agent on Takodana ready to take the child. I don't know if she's signalled them or not."
He says before turning to retreat towards the speeders with the other Knights and Leia speaks from behind Rey.
"Go. We'll be fine." She commands and then turns to start barking orders at the Resistance soldiers to contact Laherra.
Rey spares one glance at Ben before they run for the last remaining sand speeder. Ben is there a moment before Rey and roars the engine to life as Rey jumps on behind him and they are racing away towards their shuttle parked over the dunes.
Ben can see the Knights fleeing in another direction and can't help but worry that the most sadistic Knight of Ren is yet unaccounted for.
