Naruto looked blankly at what appeared to be some sort of bipedal black wolf like creature with a white mask of some sort. Said bipedal wolf was looking back at him in a mix of amusement and curiosity that the blond was starting to find slightly creepy.
After being chased out of the village on his eighth birthday he had eventually fallen into a hole before passing out when he hit the bottom. A few hours later and he woke up on what appeared to be a really soft bed and no sooner than sitting up than he saw the unusual sight of said wolf.
The minutes seemed to pass as blue eyes met the black eyed white pupils of the creature before the inevitable freak out happened.
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"
The blonde let out a shout as he tried to jump out of the bed, only for said wolf to catch him before whacking him on the side of his face.
"Don't freak out young human I'm only trying to help."
Silence settled as Naruto rubbed his cheek while the creature simply set him down on the bed and tilted their head sideways in contemplation. While this happened the blonde squinted before trying to look around the dimly lit room for anything of interest, he didn't get far if only due to the fact that his source of light was a simple candle.
"Where am I?"
The question was enough to snap the creature out of whatever thoughts it was having as it snapped its head back in his direction. Interestingly enough the creature seemed to actually jump in surprise before shaking it off and standing up.
"Ah, Puro found you passed out somewhere closer to the surface with what appeared to be a rather good head wound before deciding to bring you back to his place. Except when he got you here the wound had already healed due to some sort of strange red energy and Puro was just about to head to his library to see if he had anything about strange red energy when you woke up."
Naruto stared at the creature for a moment with a thoughtful frown before finally nodding and spoke. "So… I take it your name is… Purr-oh and you took me to your home to heal but some strange red energy already healed it?"
The now named Puro nodded simply before standing up and walking towards the other side of the room and grabbing something that was shrouded in darkness. A few seconds later they came back with a couple of fruit before placing them on said bed and into the lap of the surprised blonde.
A mumbled thanks and the whisker marked kid began to slowly eat the fruit, which in turn caused the wolf to smile in happiness. The black creature than began to stare at the kid once more in deep thought even as Naruto began to eat the fruit a lot more enthusiastically.
He then snapped his fingers, which startled said blond with the sudden noise, while letting out a happy sounding hum.
"Puro remember now where he saw red energy before oh umm… does young human know anything about sealing scrolls?"
Swallowing the last bit of fruit the blonde put on a thinking face as he tried to remember what he knew about said items.
"Iruka-sensei showed them once at the academy, their covered in a bung of wiggly lines and are used to hold kunai, and the names Naruto not young human, Dattebayo."
Puro raised an eyebrow for a moment upon hearing the verbal tick before simply shrugging it off and speaking.
"That's… rather simple, imagine a cup and inside of said cup is water, the cup is the scroll and it contains the water or kunai as you called it, with me so far?"
Nodding his head Naruto looked at the creature with curiosity before Puro began to look around for something. A few minutes later the wolf had disappeared into the darkness before coming back holding what appeared to be a desk drawer and an actual cup of water.
"Good, now imagine that this desk drawer is you and that the air inside of it is a representation of your energy. Now tell me, if Puro was to put this cup of water inside of it does the drawer become the water?"
Still curiously the blonde shook his head for a moment before watching as the wolf put down said drawer and put said cup of water on the nearby stand.
"Good, good, you are a smart young huma… no you are smart Naruto, the drawer does not become the water. This is a very basic understanding of Sealing Theory and Puro won't go into the real intricacies of it but as long as you got a grasp of it everything else will be easier to explain."
"Now you might be wondering what that has to do with the strange red energy right, and the answer is rather simple, you Naruto are an…"
The young boy watched as Puro seemed to frown and saw how one of his ears twitched for a moment before shaking his head. "Puro is sorry but he can't quite place what he was going to say… will have to go back to books for more information at a later date."
At this Naruto frowned himself as he could tell that the wolf creature was being truthful before letting out a sigh and looking once more at the bipedal creature before him. As he watched the creature seemed to shift slightly before finally deciding to sit down on the floor for whatever reason.
"Hey Purr-oh, are you a summons… and why do you keep saying your own name when speaking about yourself?"
By this time Puro had grabbed his tail and was running his hand/paws through the fur on it before letting out a thoughtful hum and speaking.
"Sorry about that, it's… been awhile since I last talked to a human so I reverted to an old habit of mine from when I was younger. As for what I am… I can tell you that I'm not actually a, summons, as you called them but in a way I am similar… here let Puro tell you a story."
As a young child Naruto naturally liked stories and so he got himself comfortable in the bed and listened to eagerly.
"A very, very, very long time ago, before chakra humans use to be different, with no real powers they had to develop a bunch of machines to do the work for them. Unfortunately they didn't care about the damage they caused to the world around them in their unending quest to make themselves more comfortable."
"At one point they had damaged to world around us to the point that a bunch of ice somewhere started to melt releasing a sickness that would spread from human to human and ultimately killing them. The sickness however only affected humans and as time went on some smarter humans called scientists started taking a few isolated humans in an attempt to create a cure of some sort while those unaffected went underground to wait for either a cure or until the disease died out."
Puro let out a small sigh upon saying this as his mind wandered back to what he had learned all those years ago before shaking it off and continuing.
"As time passed the scientists noted that animals weren't affected and in an attempt to prevent humans from dying created something that would one day lead to the creation of something that would one day become those you call summons. This… miracle cure would be called Transfur and the scientists who created the process made many versions of this cure based upon many animals with a variety of benefits."
"In the beginning though they based many of their experiments off of wolves and for some strange reason, a substance known as latex, of which they created two versions of this from which many others would be created from. One version would be called Light Latex and the other Dark Latex, as for me… I am known as a Dark Latex wolf and… oh, it's getting rather late isn't it."
The wolf noted with amusement that the blonde was getting tired, and despite the grumbling he watched the child fall asleep in a few more minutes. With a simple chuckle the masked creature put out the candle before curling up on the ground and falling asleep himself.

Two years had passed since Naruto had met the being known as Puro and despite the blond living in a ninja village the two had kept in contact without anyone actually finding out about it. As to how, apparently there was a giant fissure in a training ground and inside of said fissure was a cave hidden by a natural illusion that the Dark Latex Wolf could use to come and go without issue.
In this time the two had become friends, and in a surprising turn of events for those that cared for him the blonde would actually start reading some books. Truth be told Puro had actually noted something that the teachers at the academy, with the exception of Iruka who didn't really have enough time, had blatantly ignored in their attempts to sabotage him.
What he noted was this, Naruto only had the bare bones of knowledge on how to read due to the matron at the orphanage he was at not liking him. When the wolf had noticed this he simply bristled before taking a deep breath and taking some time to teach the young child he saw as a friend.
It was then proven that the unknown son of the fourth had in fact inherited his father's genius, and when combined with a good teacher such as Puro and one on one interaction managed to learn how to properly read in under two weeks. Said lessons were then extended to writing when the wolf noticed how it was barely readable at best, and besides some interest from those that cared about him the secret friendship remained hidden due to the fact that none of them had that much time to investigate.
Now we can find the ten year old inside of Puro's library reading a book on sealing, something he had gotten very interested in when he picked up a beginning book by accident. As for Puro himself, he was currently contemplating something as he held the well preserved journal of Dr.K and looked at some of the more interesting experiments.
Glancing up from it, he looked at the blond who was in the candle lit corner of the room before moving his attention back towards the piece of paper he had been writing on. He than with some grumbling wrote something down with intense concentration before going back to the journal once more.
Truth be told he had managed to figure out what the red chakra was about a month after meeting Naruto, and then carefully hidden the book from view. He had then proceeded to look through a few journals and notes he had managed to preserved from the original Transfur project for something.
Being as old as he was he wasn't a stranger to the few unfortunate souls known as Jinchuuriki and how the rest of humanity treated them. As one who actually remembered their father and had met them when they were young he wanted to help at least one of them with what time he had left.
As for why he was looking through the old Transfur research, that was a combination of knowledge of how summons came about and a bit of seeing some of his old friend Colin in Naruto. Thus he decided to kill two birds with one stone and looking through a combination of things began his painstakingly long task of figuring out how to not only turn the Kyuubi into a summons but also help the blonde with some health problems he had noted at the same time.
The downside of being a Jinchuuriki was that the Bijuu's chakra would shorten one's lifetime, the stronger they Bijuu the shorter the lifespan of its host. He was also silently cursing the Fourth Hokage for his quite blatant disregard for the other potential problems of only sealing the Yang chakra within his child.
This quite stupid move on the Fourths part would actually shorten the blonds life due to unstability within the childs Chakra Core and without help the kid would be lucky to live an eighth of a regular life span. Naruto's only saving grace was that his mother was not only the last host but also an Uzumaki who had more potent life force if only due to being a descendant of the Sage of Six Paths.
As it stands the math was more than enough to give him a headache in his advanced age and he was highly glad that he had already got started on part of this project a few centuries ago. Fixing Naruto's health was honestly easier in comparison than turning 13 giant beings of sentient chakra into summon creatures.
That said Puro looked back at the paper for a moment before having to do a double take as he took notice that he had completed it without consciously thinking.
"AHHA! Puro has finally done it!"
Letting out a bark of happyness Puro jumped up from his desk, his tail wagging like mad, before sprinting towards a startled Naruto. He then proceeded to give the bewildered blonde a hug while twirling him around and laughing for the next five minutes or so.
When he finally calmed down though the black wolf finally took note of the confused ten year old and set him down. The latex being then let out a sigh before finally walking over to one side of the room and proceeding to grab the book he had hidden.
"Puro is sorry Naruto but he's been hiding something from you for a while, thinking back on it I probably shouldn't have but at the time you were quite immature, still are if Puro's being honest but it's mostly been tempered."
Naruto bristled himself upon being called immature before finally calming down as he reluctantly accepted this fact. He then looked at the book being offered curiously before grabbing and instantly noting that it was an Fuinjutsu book, a rather advanced one at that.
He looked up at his friend for a brief moment who simply gestured to open said book before looking back at it and cracking it open to the conveniently placed bookmark.
"Puro found out about the red energy a month after our first meeting and decided to keep it hidden at the time, if only due to the fact that you didn't know about it. When you fell asleep a few times he even went and examined the seal that's on your abdomen while simultaneously taking note of a few health problems."
"Thus began Puro's research into Transfur in an attempt to not only help you but also help Kurama."
At this time the blonde had been growing angrier with each sentence he head in the book, his anger directed towards the village, the Hokage, at the fox, the Fourth Hokage, and many more before he finally ran out and hit depression. Finally after all this time he knew why most of the village hated him, and despite how much he wanted to hate them he honestly found himself unable to.
While confused about this at first he realized in seconds that it was only thanks to Puro that he could understand, even if it did hurt. A few silent tears ran down his face for a moment before other pieces of information finally reached him.
"What… what health problems… and who's Kurama?"
Looking at his upset friend the dark latex wolf let out a soft growl before heading over and with little resistance managed to put the blondes head on his lap. Maybe it was instinct or something but he was soon running his hand through Naruto's hair in an attempt to comfort him before finally speaking.
"While I'm sure the Fourth Hokage might of had good intentions at the time he unfortunately wasn't aware of the dangers of only sealing the Yang Chakra of the Kyuubi into you. Without outside help you would be lucky if you even lived an eighth of a regular human lifespan before you Chakra Core finally became unstable and imploded."
Puro watched as the blonde became a very unhealthy shade of white at the implication, and honestly the wolf couldn't blame him.
"As for who Kurama is… Puro is old Naruto very, very old and in that time he has meat quite a few interesting characters, including the Kyuubi when he was still a child living with his father."
The wolf couldn't help but chuckle as the blonde slowly register that, oh was he actually starting to put the blonde asleep, he should probably stop now that the kid had calmed down.
Slowly Naruto pushed himself up, shaking the bit of sleepiness that his friend managed to induce with his petting, and looked at his friend directly in his black eyes. Puro knew that this was the blonde trying to use some of their innate sensing ability to tell if he was telling the truth.
Fun fact, the blonde actually been unaware of his own abilities at first and had only discovered them when the wolf had asked him about why he was so jumpy most of time. This had in turn lead into a discussion of how a strange feeling was making him antsy which slowly turned into the discovery of said sensory abilities over the course of three months of research in the rather ridiculously large library that Puro had.
"Puro…"
The whisper from the blonde drew the wolf out of his many memories of the past before shaking his head in animal like fashion and held up a hand to stop the blonde from speaking.
"Don't, I've been alive for a long time Naruto and have seen many things in that time, and while that means I've met and lost many friends I know that they are waiting for me other side. I also know that while my time on this planet is coming to an end I've still got a few years left, as for you on the other hand… it's my intention that you live a long life."
The silence that followed was intense as the blonde frowned unhappily, he however shook it off soon enough and returned his attention to something else.
"Right… uh… how are you going to get the Fox out of me without setting off every alarm in the village and killing me, how are you going to turn said Fox into a summon, and you never actually explained to me what Transfur is."
Puro let out a small hum for a moment as he thought about how to explain what he was going to do to his friend. Truthfully the procedure was rather simple despite how hard it might seem to outsiders and would only take a week at most, but the actual science behind it was complex.
"That is honestly a tricky thing… for your first question Puro has been preparing for a while now and has thus set up a room inside of his home that would keep Bijuu Chakra contained. As for the part of killing you… Puro has been alive for centuries, do you really think that he hasn't spent some time thinking about how to remove the Bijuu from their hosts without killing said hosts?"
Right, despite being his father's son Naruto still had his moments of pure stupidity, and this was absolutely one of those moments.
"As for question number two… the beings you called Summons actually use to be humans a very long time ago before undergoing the Transfur treatment. I can understand how you might not have known about that since we barely talked about the topic, but for the most part I've figured out how to accelerate the process to the nth degree and can turn Kurama and any of his siblings and cousins into a summon in about two, three years max."
Now this actually caught the blondes attention, nobody, including the summons themselves, knew where summons came from. If what he heard was true than does that mean that Puro could be summoned, that had some rather interesting implications if true.
"Now as for the final question… Transfur is… a complex thing and really, everything relates back into it if I'm being honest. As for what it actually involves… whelp, the simple answer is that your going to have to get used to being fluffy."
The silence that followed that simple answer was rather awkward as Naruto tried to wrap his head around the simple fact he would have to get used to being covered in fur. He was then going to ask another question but before he could open his mouth Puro beat him to the punch.
"Being Transfured would heal 95% of the damages to your body and cure any lingering diseases that you might have. While there is research that only involves partial Transfurring that won't actually help you much seeing as how Kurama's Chakra saturates every cell in your body which plays a critical role in the development of Chakra."
With that answer Naruto could only blink in response before finally letting out a huff and looking at his friend to silently ask what now?

Hiruzen was worried, it had been two weeks since Naruto had disappeared and nobody could find him. He was also slightly annoyed at one ANBU Dog and was contemplating if he should demote them down to a regular Jonin.
On the bright side he was able to witness Kakashi go ballistic on some of the more simpleminded council members and the elders. Even more amusing was the fact that he had an accomplice from the academy by the name of Iruka who was also upset by some of his fellow teaching staff.
The downside of this was that the paperwork had multiplied as it was discovered that several council members were selling village secrets. It was made even worse as outside instructors were called in to help fill in the spaces in the academy and the discovery that the current class, filled with many clan heirs mind you, were severely behind where they were supposed to be.
As it stands he had one heck of a major headache right now, was worried sick about his surrogate grandson, and was starting to really hate the amount of paperwork on his desk. Oh how he wished that something would happen to distract him from the amount of paperwork he had right now.
"I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT YOU STUPID LATEX MUT!"
The resulting shout was definitely more than enough to startle Hiruzen out of whatever thoughts he had at the moment. Looking up at the door to his office he watched as it opened to reveal what he could only think of as a group of summons entering his office.
This was strange, this was surely going to create more paperwork, this was just the sort of distraction he needed at the moment. Looking over the new arrivals he saw what appeared to be a bipedal black wolf of some sort with a white mask, a large orange fox on all fours, and what appeared to be a white and yellow furred creature currently unconscious on the foxes back.
Blinking for a moment the Third Hokage couldn't help but wonder why nobody had reported the strange appearance of this group, and why did his secretary let them in.
"Ah but Puro thought that little KurKur liked it when he called the kitsune that name?"
The wolf creature put on a rather adorable pout at this as the fox bristled before letting out a huff and nodding their head in the kages direction.
"We will be talking about this later Puro but for now were here."
With that said Hiruzen watched as the fox went about placing the white and yellow bundle of fur, oh it was another wolf apparently, on his couch in a huff. Looking back towards the black wolf in front of his desk he took note of how the creatures fur seemed slightly shinier than normal before shaking it off and speaking.
"Who are you and what are you doing in my office?"
At this the creature seemed to shake itself out of whatever thoughts it was having before focusing its black gaze on him and speaking.
"Ah Puro is sorry for the unexpected visit Hokage-sama but he thought that his patient might take it better if someone familiar was nearby when he woke up. He just finished the last of the needed changes sometime last night and Puro thought he might as well take him so that his grandpa doesn't freak out when Puro explains what's going on."
Despite the strange creature taking to itself in the third person the Hokage was heavily confused about what was going on, he didn't let it show though and simply gestured for this Puro to continue.
"Right, you see Puro… erm, sorry about that I tend to speak in third person without realizing it at times. Anyways I'm just going to get to the point, are you aware of the potential health problems that comes with being a Jinchuuriki?"
For a moment the kage kept his silence as the atmosphere in the room increased, that definitely wasn't something he was expecting.
"Yes… I'm aware of the potential health risks that Jinchuuriki have."
The wolf like creature seemingly let out a hum while the giant fox, which he now noticed had a total of nine tails, let out a grunt of irritation. Puro then glanced at said fox momentarily before shrugging and turning his attention back towards Hiruzen and speaking.
"Yes as a leader, I wouldn't be surprised if you were aware of this, what you might not of been aware of however was that your oh so precious Fourth Hokage pulled a completly stupid move that makes the Churros incident 40 or so years ago seem smart in comparison."
At this the Hokage couldn't help but blanch as the implication of such a thing started to register in his mind, at least until he recognized something else.
"You know where Naruto is."
Those five little words seemed to make the atmosphere in the room even heavier as the wolf simply nodded before gesturing towards the couch. In turn, the old man simply blinked before robotically turning his head towards the white and yellow bundle of fur which was being guarded by an orange kitsune.
Getting up he walked carefully over to said couch and finally took in the appearance of the unconscious wolf a bit more carefully this time. Now that he was actually this close he noted that his assumption of a wolf was a bit off, in reality the creature looked like some sort of wolf/fox hybrid of some sort.
From a distance the yellow and white would blend in to each other but looking closer he could make out some distinctive on the creauters body. While primarily white there were patches of yellow so to make it seem like the creature was wearing some sort of gloves and socks, yellow tipped tail, a yellow underbelly, some yellow patches on the shoulders, and finally a patch of spiky yellow fur on the head in a familiar style topped off by a pair of white ears.
"While I'm sure your Fourth had good intentions he only sealed the Yang half of the Kyuubi into young Naruto which would one day lead to the destabilization and implosion of the child's chakra core. The kid would have been lucky if he even managed to live an eighth of a regular humans lifespan at that rate, and in the end they might have taken out a good chunk of the village when that time came."
Glancing to his side briefly Hiruzen saw that Puro had moved up to stand by him and look at the unconscious form of what he was sure was Naruto being guarded by the Kyuubi. He then glanced down at the now smirking vulpin, one showing a rather impressive amount of teeth at that, before speaking calmly.
"I see… I suppose that Naruto's current condition is a result of your… treatment I take?"
The Hokage noted how the black wolf seemed to let out a semi-sheepish chuckle while rubbing the back of their head.
"Yeah… Puro met little Naruto two years or so ago when the child fell down a hole and hit their head on the ground rather hard. I only meant to help him by taking the kid to my home and healing him up but Naruto woke rather quickly and I decided to keep him for a day or two to make sure he had healed up correctly."
"After that the two of us had kept in contact becoming rather good friends, occasionally teacher on Puro's part, but that's about it. Unfortunately Puro only really has a few years left, and wanting to help young Naruto I went digging into some old research from the Pre-Sage era that would allow my friend to live a full life, and turn the Kurkur the kitsune into a summons as well."
Puro trailed off while looking at the sleeping form of Naruto for a moment as he got caught up in memories of the past.
For a moment Hiruzen was quite as well as he watched the bipedal wolf seemingly sag ever so much as age overcame them. In that moment the Hokage couldn't help but wonder how old this creature was and how much they had lost in that long life.
He then caught sight of the Kyuubi also perking up with a look of concern written on its muzzle, it was only for a moment before being quickly replaced with a bored uninterested look.
Hiruzen then let out a contemplative hum for a moment as he stroked his beard, mentally cursing his secretary taking his tobacco stash, before finally settling on that thought. He then glanced out the door knowing that his secretary might be unconscious from actually using his stash and grumbling in irritation.
It was then that his irritation seemed to double as he noted a certain scared nosed Chuunin entering his office at a casual pace, with a fierce smirk on his face as well. He could still remember that look from when Iruka managed to send half the academy staff fleeing not so long ago.
Oh, and apparently Kakashi was behind him carrying the now unconscious form of his former Secretary who indeed took part in his private tobacco stash. This was no doubt going to turn into a headache later but right now he couldn't help but feel the need for payback right now at the chaos he was about to cause.
Miota: ... did you really play a fetish type game?
crai22: Yes... the only real reason I even played Changed was because it was a furry TF game that involved little to no sexual content like most games of that nature.
Miota: Wow... I can hardly look at you the same way now.
crai22: Yeah, yeah, I like furries, I'm quite sure that there is a large community of them on this website so this really isn't all that farfetch. Though recently I have noticed that quite a few games of that nature are being deleted from the internet for some insane reason.
Miota: Alright I'll bite, why?
crai22: Apparently there are tons of people with a large amount of time on their hands a that the games involving explicit content are unsuited for kids. Hello people there is such a thing known as Parental Controls, if you don't want your kids playing that type of game then you should probably use them and not irritate the people who actually like that stuff.
Miota: Your a bit of a pervert, aren't you?
crai22: I... might be but I'm more interested in the TF content of the game instead of the adult content, besides I try to keep my stories clean for the few kids that might end up reading this.
Miota: Right... at least you keep your priorities straight it seems... anyways crai22 owns nothing but the plot he makes up people.
