I would like to extend a thank you to my loyal readers for your continued support and welcome the new readers to my story. My weekly update was a little delayed. Haha blame turkey day and the upcoming Christmas holiday season. Do not own Scandal or its characters. Please excuse any typos. Happy Reading, and as always reviews are appreciated.

Two weeks before Election days . . .

Despite Fitz canceling all remaining campaign stops to focus his energy on the terrorist attack that happened in New York, Olivia and the rest of his campaign team were still working hard behind the scene to gain more votes in key battleground states.

Olivia just dropped Lily off to school and had made her way to her office with recent polling numbers from Arizona in one hand and a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the other as she entered her office. She was in her office alone less than 10 minutes before Huck came walking in.

Huck stood there silently at first, but then muttered, "We have a visitor."

Olivia raised an eyebrow. "Do we have a meeting on the books?" She stood and walked out her door and saw a roll of agents walking into the main hallway of OPA. She muttered to herself, "I know Fitz didn't dare come to my office in the daytime . . . he knows to call me and I will come to him."

After the events of New York, their relationship had gained more media attention than she would have liked and the last thing she needs right now is it leaking they are dating during the last stretch of an election cycle.

A Grant walked through the line of men, but it was not the one she expected, to Olivia relief. "Karen . . . what are you doing here . . . shouldn't you be in school?" She walked up to the teenage girl.

Karen looked down at her feet. "I sort of left school after my second period . . . I really need to talk to you."

Olivia nodded her head, "you know you could always talk to me, sweetie . . . I was going to be at the White House later tonight . . . you didn't need to cut class to come to OPA" She guarded Karen to her office knowing this may be something she wanted to talk about in private.

Karen took a seat in front of Olivia's desk, as Olivia settled into her chair. "This was something that cannot wait until tonight . . . I want to hire you . . . or really OPA."

Olivia raised an eyebrow. "Hire me . . . OPA . . . are you in trouble Karen?"

Karen bit her lip nervously "Sort of . . . there a video."

Olivia shook her head remember the last time Karen got in trouble. "Oh gosh . . . is it a sex tape?"

Karen shook her head immediately. "Oh no . . . no sex tape . . . definitely learned my lesson from last time . . . it's a tape of my music . . . not really my music . . . I did a cover of Audra Day's Rise Up."

Olivia let out a breath she did not know she was holding when she found out it was not a sex tape. "That's a great song . . . I am sure you rendition sounds amazing . . . are you concerned about copyrights and licensing issues? . . . is that the trouble?"

Karen sighed, "I wish it was that simple . . . Maddox . . . he was working on a class project and asked to use the recording of me singing in a video he was making . . . he used visuals from the terrorist attack in New York."

Olivia nodded still not seeing the problem.

Karen noticed Olivia has a confused look. "How about I show you the video." She pulled out a flash drive and then inserted it into Olivia's laptop.

The video began to play. Karen is not seen in the video but her voice comes streaming through with the sound of a guitar. Then visuals of Time Square before the attack were shown, visuals of people walking around and enjoying the city. "You're broken down and tired . . . of living life on a merry go round."

As the song progress to the chorus, the video shifted to different news channels footage of the different bombing that happened that day. At this point in the song, Karen's voice sent strivers up Olivia's back as she sang, "And I'll rise up . . . I'll rise like the day . . . I'll rise up . . . I'll rise unafraid . . . I'll rise up . . . and I'll do it a thousand times again."

The visual shifted again this time to coverage captured on cellphones of people recusing others including police officers, firefighters, and just regular citizens. One clip captures Olivia using the skateboard to break the window to escape the overturned train. Karen's voice at this point in the song is soft as she sang. "For you . . . for you . . . for you . . . for you."

Olivia wiped away a tear not realizing how much this video was touching her in such a deep and personal way.

The visual shifted to coverage of buildings on fire, people hurt after the attack and even a brief shot of a white sheet covering a body. Karen's voice became soft and low again in the video. "When the silence isn't quiet . . . and it feels like it's getting hard to breathe . . . and I know you feel like dying . . . but I promise we'll take the world to its feet."

The video goes white and there no sound before shifting to different people leaning a helping hand to most of the time strangers, including Fitz bandaging someone's hand. There was footage of relieved family members embracing and kissing on loved ones, they found were safe, including two men passionately sharing a kiss. Karen's voice gets louder at this point in the video. "And I'll rise up . . . I'll rise like the day . . . I'll rise up . . . I'll rise unafraid."

The visuals shifted to different photos and videos from people in this country and people globally supporting America by holding up a "T" with two fingers to symbol Time Square. Karen's voice is soaring and rich with emotion as she sang in the video, "All we need . . . all we need is hope . . . and for that, we have each other . . . and for that, we have each other."

The final visuals seen in the video is footage of efforts to clean up and rebuild after the attack. Karen's voice is low again as it fades out as she sings. "I'll rise up . . . rise like the day . . . I'll rise up . . . in spite of the ashes . . . I will rise a thousand times again."

Olivia grabbed a tissue from the front of her desk, wiping her tears away before she gathered herself to speak. "Wow, sweetie that was . . . wow . . . amazing . . . if you worry about the copyright stuff for the music and visuals I can get cleared." Olivia honestly still did not see the problem.

Karen shook her head, "it's not that . . . I was foolish and said it was ok for Maddox to release it on social media . . . without my name attached to it of course . . . I know the rules no social media posting without approval . . . but I thought it was fine since the video isn't directly associated with my name."

Oliva nodded her head. She is about to speak but Karen cuts her off.

Karen looked down at her shaking hands, "someone in Maddox's class commented it was me singing . . . since Maddox and I collaborate a lot . . . and it spread like hot fire even outside our school community."

Olivia was not happy Karen broke the rules and did not get the video cleared. "Kar . . . '

Karen again cut Olivia off and spoke quickly deciding just to come completely clean. "The video became very popular and even more popular with my rumored involvement . . . so popular Dad's former Vice President made comments about it . . . her comments have resulted in it being on the local news and probably now national." Karen said in a panic.

Olivia has accidentally dropped her phone in a bowl of cereal and was in the process of drying it out in rice. She was certain that once her phone did begin to work properly it would be full of alerts about this nonsense Sally had started.

Olivia sighed and turned on the news. the major networks including CNN, FOX, and MSNBC were covering of Sally Langston's comment on the alleged video associated with First Daughter Karen Grant. Olivia turned up the volume on the coverage from FOX.

Sally stood there in a red dress, in a shade of red Olivia repeated told Sally not to wear, because it made her look palsy. "I have seen the video . . . I was not going to comment on this video. . . but this video did not sit well in my spirit . . . honestly, the Christian in me would not allow me to sit by and allow such a immoralness to occur . . . I think the video is shameful . . . I think it's shameful for this president through his daughter to try to profit off the pain and death that happen that day through this YouTube video . . . Beyond profiting off the death of our citizens, the content was wildly inappropriate . . . I really question the First Daughter Karen Grant morals if she indeed helped create this video that promotes homosexuality . . . men were not meant to lay with other men . . . this country was built on strong morals and values, of a man lying with a woman . . . we need to get back to an America that celebrates that . . . for this young woman to promote such an abomination to young impressible children who have access to videos like hers on YouTube breaks my heart . . . I have always supported parents fundamental right to parent their children as they please . . . and given the scandal that has plagued this president and the former First Lady, it's no surprise the First Daughter would put out such an inappropriate video glorifying homosexuality . . . I truly pray God will deliver this lost young lady from her sinful ways."

Olivia's mouth dropped slightly. She knew Sally was getting nervous with Fitz's surge in the poll but to say such things, so openly, without remorse, even shocked Olivia. Olivia grabbed her phone out a bag of rice, the screen now dry and the phone appears to be operating, to see what others were saying about this. Surprisingly it was a mixed reaction; with a good amount of people agree with Sally and attacking Karen.

Karen shook her head and sighed. "The trolls are saying horrible things online . . . it was just a few seconds of the entire video . . . and Liv I would never try to intentionally profit off others' pain . . . I wanted to release it just to . . . I don't know . . . comfort others . . . it's just blowing up in my face . . . I don't want to cost dad the election over a stupid video."

Olivia shook her head. "it wasn't a stupid video and it was truly a masterpiece . . . you and Maddox should be proud of . . . this video will not cost your dad the election . . . but him killing Sally will . . . I need to get to the White House before this news gets back to him."

As the two of them talk about the video, Olivia's phone buzzed. She looked at it and saw Sally has added more fuel to this fire with a tweet on twitter. Olivia shook her head "this woman has no class or a heart."

Karen looked confused. "what is she saying now . . . that I ran over puppies with my car?" The teenager began to breakdown from the pressure of this situation.

Olivia sighed. "No Kar . . . she is trying to say this video is your way of revealing to the world you are gay . . . you subscribe to an alternative lifestyle . . . She really is gasping for straws here . . . to spread such a horrible and untrue rumor like that."

Karen stood and walked over to the window of Olivia's office. Her face lost all emotion when she hears about Sally's latest attack on her. She bit her lip and nervously muttered. "Uhm Liv what it's not completely false."

Olivia was shocked but tried not to express that on her face to avoid it appearing like she would not be supportive of Karen's sexuality. She walked over to the teenager and softly place her hand over Karen's hand. "Well if it's true . . . that is fine . . . . there is nothing wrong with being gay, sweetheart . . . love is love in whatever package it may come in."

Karen lifted her head to look into Olivia's eyes. "Well, I'm not sure . . . I'm exactly gay . . . or at least 100% gay . . . I'm talking in circles and I'm probably making little sense."

Olivia softly rubbed her hands. "Sweetie . . . it's okay not to have it all figured out . . . you are 15 years old you have a lot more life to live and explore . . . heck, I'm still figuring out my life in my 30s" She smiled softly.

Karen nodded her head, Olivia's words comforting in ways she did not know she needed to comfort. "It's just during that time after My mo . . . Mellie left . . . I was in a really dark place and you remember I was not making the best decisions . . . dad sent me to that music program for the summer in California . . . there I met a girl named Zara who was originally from Australia . . . Zara is a very proud lesbian and dressed in boys clothing mostly . . . But she was truly a piano prodigy Liv."

Olivia nodded her head and listen intently to the teenager's description of the situation but she also noticed the smile that seemed to be spreading across her face.

Karen began to bit her lip, as she felt her heart began to race. "Well, we became good friends . . . she was really there for me when I honestly was in a dark place . . . on like the last day we stuck to the roof of a building after I ditched my detail of course . . . we shared a kissed . .. she wanted to be more than friends . . . . I . . . I well didn't know what I wanted, but I didn't want to hurt her . . . so I said I felt nothing from the kiss." She looked down.

Olivia lifted her chin softly "its okay if you did feel something from the kiss . .. it's okay if you have feelings for Zara too." Olivia muttered in a warm and motherly voice.

Karen sighed. "Is it really okay? . . . my father is the President of the United States . .. the Republican President of the United States . . . the party that is supposed to be about traditional Christian values."

Olivia began to laugh softly. "Uhm yes, your father is a republican . . . but his presidency and him as a man . .. has never embraced 100 percent this notional of "traditional Christian values" . . . his Chief of Staff is an openly gay man . . . his Vice President will be an openly gay man . . . Your father would not have loved you any less if one day you bought home a girl . . . He just wants you to be happy."

Karen nodded her head. "I know Liv . . . that my dad would be supportive but I was worried about what I guess the country would think . . .how that would affect my dad's career in politics . . . especially for something, I not even sure about . . . I have feelings for Zara but I met Maddox and now I have deep feelings for him as well . . . so does that make me bi" She was so confused by all the feelings and emotions going through her body.

Olivia took this opportunity, pulled Karen into her arms, and just held her. "My sweet Karebear . . . straight . . . gay . . . bi . . . it doesn't matter nor does it matter if you still trying to figure it out . . . never based who you love on what you think the American people will embrace . . . I'm sure your dad will share the same sentiments . .. at the end of the day we want you to be happy and with someone who will love you for the amazing person you are . . . so no stressing over this . . . just live your life and the pieces will fall in place the way they are supposed to my love" She softly rock Karen in her arms calming the teenage girl down.

Karen moved out of Olivia's embrace and felt a lot better. She bits her lip softly "I just don't understand how Sally could have known about me and Zara kissing . . .you think she was maybe bluffing or pulling that out the clouds or something."

Olivia sighed. "unfortunately . . . I'm quite certain Sally had at least some bases for making that claim of you living an "alternative lifestyle" . . . there is no way she would bluntly be so reckless to spread something like that without some proof . . . She probably had someone follow you and your brother after she decided to run for President even when she was Vice President . . . I doubt she knew you two kisses because . . . at this point, her campaign is sinking . . . having a bomb like that she would have said it."

Karen sighed. "I just hope I didn't cost dad the election with all this drama so close to election day."

Olivia shook her head. "this drama will not cost your dad the election . . . but him strangling Sally will . . . I need to get to the White House . . . to do damage control because your father will put up with a lot, but attacking one of his children is not one of them."

Olivia walked Karen out of OPA and assured her that she will fix this. She turned around and returned to OPA.

Quinn, Huck, and Olivia's newest hire Marcus Walker were all waiting for Olivia in the main meeting room for their orders. Marcus was a civil rights activist with a law degree, who Olivia thought would be a good fit for the team because he had the ability to be able to talk to both regular community people and powerful leaders in professional scenes.

Olivia skipped going over what is happening knowing her team already knows about the Sally situation given how widespread this video seems to be now. "Marcus . . . I need you to handle the social media aspect of this scandal, coordinate with Abby at the White House."

Quinn narrowed her eyes "you sure the rookie . . . can handle such a heavy task Liv . . . maybe he should just get us off coffee and fresh donuts . . . I can handle social media." Quinn was not over Harrison's decision to leave the OPA to be with his pregnant girlfriend in Texas.

Growing up in a group home, Harrison always promised himself that if he ever had children, he would give them a great family life and a full-time father. Harrison's girlfriend Rachel's decision to move back to Texas to be closer to her family meant he was moving to Texas to keep that promise.

Quinn did not fault Harrison for moving to build a family, but she still felt a great feeling of loss. He was like a big brother to her. Olivia's decision to add Marcus to OPA was not something Quinn accepted fully at this point and often tried to limit his involvement with OPA matters.

Huck took a less emotional approach to Harrison's leaving, but he also did not embrace Marcus being a part of the team, believing him to be too normal for the dark and sometimes dirty work that had to happen at OPA.

Olivia shook her head, "No . . . Marcus will handle social media . . . Quinn I need you for something more important . . . I need you to track down a young lady Karen attended a music program with . . . Zara Hart and ensure she is not talking to anyone about Karen . . . I have emailed you all the information I have on her."

Olivia turned to Huck. "Huck I need you to find out what Sally has up her sleeve to make these statements . . . I need you to watch her and Elizabeth North closely . . . we don't need any more curveballs like this, so close to election day.

Marcus gave Quinn a knowingly look as he left the office first to take on his first major task at OPA. He wanted to ensure he turned in impeccable work to prove himself to Quinn and Huck, that he too was a gladiator in a suit.

Olivia nodded her head. "You have your task, now I have to get to the White House before this news gets to the president."

Meanwhile at the Sally Langton Headquarters . . .

Sally smirked, as she looked at all the retweets she was getting from her latest tweet. "See Lizzie I have almost 600 retweets in less than an hour."

Elizabeth North shook her head. "You do realize this will blow up in our face . . . it was reckless to tweet the First daughter is gay." She paced the small space of the office as she kept looking at poll numbers on her phone.

Sally rolled her eyes. "Well, I didn't say she was gay . . . I simply tweeted I wonder if this video was the First Daughter way of saying she may subscribe to an alternative lifestyle . . . I never said with certainty she was gay . . . I did practice law you know . . . I know where the line is to avoid getting sued." Sally happily took a seat in her chair as she leans back slightly.

Elizabeth sighed. "Don't play semantics with me, Sally . . . using the word 'may' does not change the meaning of your tweet . . . judging by the comment, the American people understood loud and clear you accusing that young girl of being a lesbian . . . the president is going to tear you a new one for spreading this lie."

Sally leaned forward and pulled out a folder with Karen's name on it. She goes through it and then tossed photos at Elizabeth's feet. The photos were of Karen and Zara hanging out around Los Angeles. "I'm not spreading lies" She smirked.

Elizabeth picked up the photos. "These just look like two teenage friends hanging out . . . them at the mall . . . them at a burger place . . . them in a park . . . this does not say Karen Grant is a lesbian, Sally" Elizabeth threw her hands up in frustration.

Sally shook her head. "you have no imagination or vision Lizzie . . . them holding hands at the mall . . . them cuddling at a burger place . . . them looking deep into each other eyes at the park . . . look at how that other girl is dressed . . . baggy clothing, masculine shirt, and short haircut . . . it's clear she definitely into girls and definitely swim in the lady pond . . . these are not photos of the First Daughter feeding the homeless or reading to children . . . these are photos of the First Daughter with her Lesbian lover . . . not exactly the image of the first family we should have in this country . . . shouldn't be surprised . . . his black mistress is running his campaign."

Elizabeth shook her head "you are reaching Sally . . . what if Olivia starts to dig into your family . . . you and I had sex just last night . . . your husband has screwed all the male gardener . . . one child just out of rehab . .. a teen on her 2nd abortion . . . and didn't you just pay off yet another woman to drop a domestic violence charge off the one in college."

Sally took a sip of her spiked orange juice. "Well, my family is not perfect . . . we have our skeletons like most . . . but I could honestly say none of my children are gay . . . they were raised properly . . . that is more than I could say for Grant's children."

Sally smirked. "You know what we should do . . . add fuel to the fire . . . track down that young lady and expose the First Daughter's lesbian relationship . . . maybe leak these photos"

Elizabeth shook her head and threw up her hands. "No Sally . . . we are not using an innocent minor to exploit a theory you have about Karen Grant . . . a theory that is going to blow up in our faces . .. may even cost you any chance you had in this election."

Sally laughed. "More like cause me to win the election . . . look at all this support on social media especially in my red states of the South that still believe in Christian morals . . . these are true Republicans . . . true Americans . . . I know this was not your plan Lizzie but sometimes you have to take the gloves off and play a little dirty to win."

Hour Later at the White House . . . .

Olivia managed to make it to the White House as quick as she could without getting a speeding ticket. She walked passed all the reporters outside of the White House and into Abby's office. "Were you successful in keeping the news of Sally's latest shenanigans away from the President?"

Abby nodded her head. "Yes I was but I am sure happy you are here . . . the team has been working overtime to keep the president in meetings and busy to keep this news away." She chuckled. "Cyrus even was surprisingly helpful in the process . . . he is talking to Fitz now about a non-important matter related to kitchen staffing in the Oval."

Olivia nodded her head. "Thanks and spread my appreciation to the rest of the team." Olivia walked intently to the Oval Office and found Fitz still talking with Cyrus.

Fitz immediately stood. "Olivia . . . it nice of you to join us . . . Cyrus here was boring me with administrative decisions . . . have you come to save me!" He laughed half-joking and half-serious.

Cyrus looked at Olivia and then back at Fitz. "Well, we can continue this talk another time Mr. President." He turned and began to walk towards the door. A part of him wished he could stay so he could see the look on Fitz's face when Olivia told him about Sally's recent desperate act to win the election.

When Cyrus closed the door, Fitz immediately pulled Olivia in for a kiss. "I have really missed you."

Olivia smirked. "How could you miss me when I was just in your bed last night." She winked at him deciding to lighten the mood before it got really heavy in here. She pulled away from him slowly. "but I am here on official campaign business."

Fitz sighed. "aww . . . I halfway thought you were just a girlfriend visiting her boyfriend at work." He joked as he took a seat back in his chair. "I guess that would never happen while I'm president huh?"

Olivia sighed as she walked over to Fitz and sat on the edge of his desk, so she could be close enough for him to see the video. "Sally is employing a new tasteless way of attacking you . . . She is now attacking a video Karen created with her classmate Maddox . . . Karen's face is not visible in the video but he used her vocals and footage from the day of the attack on Time Square."

Olivia showed Fitz the video and saw Fitz get slightly emotional as he watched the video, not noticing anything scandalous about the video. Fitz smiled "my angel, truly have an amazing voice and Maddox is definitely going to be a great film creator someday . . . I will get on her about releasing material online without White House permission but I don't see the big deal."

Olivia took a deep breath and sighed, as she showed him the video posted by Sally earlier on social media.

As Fitz watched the video, Olivia could see his face turn more red with every minute that passed as anger built in his body. He finally slammed his fist onto the desk. "She picked the right color to wear . . . she is truly the devil . . . how dare she take that beautiful video those kids created and say I'm trying to profit off pain and death . . . promoting homosexuality . . . . it was less than a second of two men kissing."

Fitz stood out his chair needing to walk off the anger in his body, afraid he would slam his fist through his desk if he kept sitting. "She is truly desperate isn't she . . . her campaign is tanking so badly she feels the need to what . . . set fire to everything and everyone huh?" Fitz shook his head in disbelieve.

Olivia bit her lip, only seeing Fitz this angry less than a handful of times. She weighed whether she should even discuss the tweet with him in this state of mind. She shook her head slowly. "unfortunately she has found a way to stoop even lower." Olivia pulled up Sally's tweet inferring Karen is using this video to come out to the world as being gay.

Fitz lost all color in his face as rage shoot through his body. "how dare she infer this about Karen . . . . how dare she" Fitz loosen his tie as he walked around the Oval Office. His mind clouded with thoughts of harming Sally.

Olivia tried to keep her eyes on him but he was moving so fast. "She is desperate Fitz . . . this is a new low, even for her . . . she sees you are surging in the polls and she is gasping for straws now."

Fitz shook his head "She going to be gasping for air . . . because I'm going to kill her . . . attack me all she wants, I signed up for this . . . but she has no right to do that to Karen . . . to spread lies."

Olivia's heart began to race. She had decided before even talking to Fitz she would not reveal to Fitz what Karen told her about Zara. After all, it was not her place to share that, it was Karen's, who would do that in her own time and when she was ready.

Olivia comes over to Fitz and muttered. "Let's not focus on what's truth and a lie . . . we need to focus on the despicable action of Sally to even involved a child in a campaign involving adults . . . while I equally want to strangle Sally . . . that will not resolve this mess she has created."

Fitz loosened his tie completely and tossed it on the desk. "I know I have to keep a rational head but that is my baby girl . . . she has gone through a lot already . . . she has crossed a line, Olivia."

Olivia sighed. "I know . .. this is what she wants . .. for you to react emotionally and start to sling mud . . . you don't think we have negative things on her children . . . but we aren't going to stoop to her level . . . we are going to rise above the bull . . . that is what separates the person who is the President and people who simply trying to be President. "

Later that Evening . . . .

After a talk with Karen and even longer talk with Olivia, Fitz had finally calmed down to the point where he could address this matter with the media. In a navy blue suit that hugged his fit frame with a pinstriped tie, he made his way to the podium in the press room.

He began to address the members of the press. "Good evening . . . it sadden me I even have to address such a matter, but as your President and a father, I felt compel to do so. Earlier today a candidate for president went to social media with a video and then posted a subsequent tweet attacking the character of my teenage daughter.

Fitz had to stop for a moment to gather himself, feeling rage built in his body as he thought about Sally's words in the video. The video allegedly associated with my daughter was not created to promote my campaign for re-election."

He cleared this throat and continued speaking. "Nor was it created to profit off the pain, suffering, and deaths of individuals . . . affected by the terrorist attack at Time Square . . . I was personally at ground zero . . . helping the injured, comforting the hurting, and vowing to get justice . . . which I continue to strive to do to this day.

Fitz furthered explained. "That video was nothing more than a celebration . . . of the strength, endurance, and spirit of the American people . . . All American people . . . whether gay or straight . . . American is the greatest country in the world . . . because we are made up of a diversity of races, genders, ethnicities, religions, languages, cultures . . . and despite all our differences, we are still able to come together . . . to unite as one people . . . as one America."

Olivia smiled, as she stood off to the side, proud that Fitz has managed to deliver the statement they have created together. She expected him to now thank the members of the press and then exit the podium. This address to the press was supposed to be short and defuse the situation by giving little energy to Sally or her desperate ploy to save her sinking campaign.

Fitz took a deep breath, however, and continued on. "I want to make something very clear to candidates running to be President of the United States . .. I Fitzgerald Thomas Grant III is running for President . . . feel free to come after me for the campaign promise I have made . . . feel free to come after the policies I support . . . feel free to come after the bill I have championed . . . feel free to come after me for the war conflicts I have engaged this country in . . . hack feel free to come after my character as a man . . . . I can take it . . . it is what I signed up for as President . . . but to bring children into campaigning . . . to attack a child . . . not only shows a weak character . . . but that person is unfit to hold the highest office in this country . . . to represent the United States of America.

Olivia's eyes widen as Fitz completely went off script and began to speak from his heart. She bit her lip, not certain the America people would perceive this well.

Fitz smiled slightly and pat his chest. He muttered, "Sally Langston." For the first time even mentioning her name, wanting to make sure his message was clear and directed to the right person.

Fitz narrowed his eyes as if he was directly looking into Sally's eyes. "I'm right here, take your best shot . . . I am not running or hiding behind a keyboard or posting on social media." He chuckled along with members of the press.

He cleared his throat. "But on task . . . this will be the only statement, I will make on this matter . . . frankly, I have more important things to discuss and focus on like increasing jobs . . . getting tax breaks for hard-working Americans. . . supporting our troops overseas that keep us safe . . . finding ways to ensure all Americans have access to comprehensive and affordable health care . . . freeing our young people from the weight of crippling student loan debt."

He laughed again. "So as you can see I have my hands full being President and with that, members of the press and Americans around the country . . . I bid you a good night and God Bless America."

Fitz walked from the podium and to a waiting Olivia. He smiled and lean into her ear and whispered so only she could hear him. "I'll take my punishment for going off script a little later in the residence."

Olivia tried not to smile being quite unhappy Fitz went off script, but at the same time, she could not fault him for doing so. She thought to herself, how she found his protective dad side quite sexy and look forward to dishing out some punishment later.

Recaps:

- Karen created a innocent video and it has unintentional consequences (I love Audra Day's song Rise Up . . . I don't own the lyrics and merely thought it went well with video I had in my mind.

- Sally in her ugly red dress use the video to attack Fitz and call Karen out for possibility being a Lesbian

- Karen and Olivia have a heart-to-heart about it being okay if she doesn't have her sexuality figured out.

- Harrison departs my story (I didn't kill him off) and Marcus is introduced and get his first important OPA task despite Quinn and Huck.

- Liz North warns Sally not to expose others when she herself has a lot of secrets.

- Olivia breaks the news about Sally and Fitz was to strangle her

- Fitz address the press about the video and tell Sally to take her best shot. Apparently looks sexy according to Liv when he goes all protective dad.

Preview:

In the next chapter it will be election day. Who will win? Sally Langston who has a strong hold of the South or Fitz whose campaign is surging in the polls? Someone will make attempt on someone's life and someone will get sick.

As always reviews are appreciated, suggestions are welcomed, but overly negative comments meant to be mean will be deleted. I'm not a professional writer and I try my best with each chapter I produce of this story.
