In secret WF Base… at the bottom of an elevator shaft.

Ruby POV

'Ugh, my head.' I internally groan as I begin to pick myself up. The room around us was completely pitch black. I could barley see a thing for a moment. Once I could see better, I remember what had happened. I then thought internally 'Phew, thank Monty we only fell five floors…wait, where's Dismas?"

"Ugh, are you ok Ruby?" Dismas asked as he picked himself beside me.

"Yeah, just a few cuts and bruises I said as I wiped away the dust from my sleeves.

"Heh, lucky you… ugh." Dismas groan as he pulled himself up.

I didn't know what he was talking about till he lit a match. There I can see his right arm, how he was holding it. He clearly broke it on the fall. He then handed me the match before removing his scarf and using it as a sling. As the light slowly died out, I couldn't help but notice a secondary light. One that was a little dim due to the match. So I quickly blew it out to get a better look.

"Ugh, Ruby. I know you are still mad about earlier but I need the light to finish this." Dismas replies sarcastically.

"I already forgive you, but don't you see that light?" I said to him.

Dismas gave a confused glair before looking closely. He then noticed the light as well. He quickly finish tightening his sling before pulling out his pistol he walked over to the door. Taking a peak inside he then turned to me before motioning me to help open the door. I quickly opened it since my arms aren't broken. What I saw was really freaky, like something out of those bad horror movies my sister would make me watch. Huge tanks with glowing blue goo inside, lab equipment covered in blood, a haphazard stack of dust fuel barrels waiting for someone to accidently drop a smoke. And of course their was the stereotype that it was completely quiet despite being a laboratory. Still, guess theirs a reason why it's a stereotype. We walked out into the lab, making sure that there was nobody inside. Once neither of us saw any White Fang members so we quietly walked out into the lab, exploring it for the evidence Dismas mentioned.

"What is this place?" I asked out loud.

"No idea. Though I can definitely say this fall's in line with the abominations found at the manner." Dismas states as he looked up at a corkboard.

On it, I can see multiple pictures of my friends, places on campus, old Vale Ruins, people that I barley know or never met, and a strange crystal. Each one had a red line of string connecting them with post notes attached. Each with a unique note written on it. Like 'Connected' or 'Related?'. It was like those detective novels Blake would read… or like those creepy conspiracy theory's, dad would keep in the basement. Weirdly enough at the center of the board was a picture of me and Dismas. Connected by multiple strings with the labeled, 'Direct Bloodline?' underneath. Weird, Ozpin said that Dismas had a kid but he accidently killed him. Why would the White Fang think that?

"Hey Ruby does this mean anything to you?" Dismas asked as he points to the board.

"Um, no." I said nervously. Ozpin made me and Jaune vow to keep quiet about this. I frantically looked around the room for something, that is when I notice one vat not glowing. So I pointed at it and said. "Um, hey what's that?"

For a moment, I thought Dismas wasn't going to buy it. And I was almost right. However a sudden bump coming from the vat caught his attention. I then let out a small sigh when he wasn't looking and said mentally. 'Thank Monty for timing.'

Dismas then walked over to the vat. Inspecting it closely. I decided to rip off the little post note. Hand it to Ozpin. Once I grabbed it I head over to the vat as well. Might as well see what actually cause that sound. Inside the vat all I can see was nothing but goo. It was really difficult to see anything… till something floated over. A skull, like an actual human skull. Or at least I thought it was human. I backed away in horror to see that there were multiple bones, organs, and limbs of animals, humans, and even Faunas's. Monty almighty, they are killing their own kind… or at least defyingly their own corpses. Which is still as bad as killing themselves… just not as bad, but still close.

"What fresh hell is this?" Dismas asked aloud? Before I could even answer, a clicking noise can be heard behind us.

"This, this here is the beginning of the end. Human." A voice said as we turn around slowly. Behind us was a fox Faunus holding a gun to us. He was dressed in a lab coat with the WF logo on his arm. "Who would have thought that the most terrifying monstrosity wouldn't be native to this land… or this planet."

"Soooooo… Aliens. Like those little green men?" I asked trying hard not to laugh at the mad scientist.

"Or those face hugging one? From that horror movie… (Snap, Snap.) Um what was the name of that movie again?" Dismas added as he tried to remember by snapping his fingers.

"Um, I forget as well. Oh, what about that other one the one where a watch that can transform you into aliens with a push of a…("ENOUGH!")" Before I could even finish, the scientist interrupted us by firing off a round into the ceiling.

"What was I suppose to expect from two juvenile humans. When facing with the most derange, horrific, and thought-provoking horrors you joke about it and somehow ignore it. I swear children these days are so dense." The scientist mumbled as he pinches the bridge of his nose.

"Well, that and the fact that we have been through this same stick for the better part of a year." Dismas remarks as he slowly moves toward the right. Looking over I noticed a valve that lead above the scientist. Realizing what he was doing I decided to follow his lead and continue the conversation.

"Yeah, I mean last month, Dismas fought off literal vampire mosquito's… on live television." I said as I walked left slowly.

"And before that we fought an entire army of Skelton's. You know, the one's your group released in the attack on Vale." Dismas states as he moves a little closer to the right.

"Yeah, and what about that cannibal witch in Mistral who made an entire forest of mushroom zombies?" I added while moving left.

"Or the Fishmen in Menagerie." Dismas remarked.

"The incident in the sewers." I remarked.

"The giant raven in the woods." Dismas added.

"Oh what about the giant pi…(BANG!)" Before I could finish the sentence, the mad scientist fired off the gun into the air.

"Again, enough. (Sigh) I see that you already ran into monstrosities that are on par with what I'm referring too. Point, very well made. But counter point, this one isn't from this world naturally. The rest have been in hiding, only surfacing up in urban legends or leaving faint hints of their existences. Still, you should fear this more then the rest." The Scientist rambled on.

"Even more then the Countess?" Dismas asked as he moved just enough to be standing next to the pipe.

"Ye… no, no. This is more frightening then that bug." The scientist waved off.

"Really, you do realize she is behind you." I lied hoping to trick him.

"Hmph, do you really think I'm that stupid?" The scientist states, however the moment he did the alarm goes off.

Guess they finally realized that we are free. Though thankfully the timing spooked him just enough to turn around. Once he realized that he was tricked it was too late, Dismas quickly turned the valve. Shooting hot steam from the pipe, hitting him directly in the face. He fell to the ground in pain, firing off a few rounds randomly. Dismas quickly raced over to the table and grabbed a few papers before stuffing them down his jacket. I just quickly ran by toward the stairs, Dismas quickly followed as the scientist fired off a round close to those barrels of dust fuel. Causing them to explode. The flames from the explosion mixed with the glowing goo and what ever that stuff is, it was extremely flammable. Like a dust spill in the ocean and someone dropped a massive burning torch… that also had a water gun filled with fuel that ignites upon contact with air and someone tapped the trigger down. I might be missing the point but the moment the flames made contact with the goo, we were sent flying up the stairs by the sudden explosion. My ear ringed as the world slowly became less blurry. As my hearing and vision returned I noticed right away the Dismas's was on fire. Quickly reacting I ran over and started patting out the fire. Turns out the fire was from the papers he grabbed.

As I patted him down, trying to put out the fire. While doing so he asked. "Ruby, what are you… oh shit."

He realized the papers were on fire and he too tried to pat the fire, but by now it's too late. The fire destroyed the papers. "Son of a bitch, son of a bitch, son of a bitch, son of a bitch, son of a bitch, son of a bitch!"

"Hey, it's just paper." I said trying to calm him down.

"Yeah, paper with the evidence clearing myself of a crime I didn't commit!" Dismas shouts out.

"What about me? I'm evidence." I shouted at him.

"Yeah, but I doubt having one witness will beat a monster who can shapeshift." Dismas said as he stands up.

"Then We'll deal with it, but right now we need to leave before this place comes down on us." I explain as another explosion shook the entire facility.

That seem to convince him, and we both took off running. We ran through the halls of the White Fang Compound. Occasionally running into WF members. Few wanted to fight. They were more focus on getting out. However their was the occasional stubborn one. Dismas of course took care of them, that flintlock for some reason isn't effected by Aura. Rather it penetrates through it with ease. Always wondered how it does that. Though now wasn't the time to nerd out over a simple but O.P weapon. We eventually made our way to what looked like a hanger. Or was till the flames from downstairs torched the room. Now it was an entire sea of infernal. We looked around for a way to escape, till I noticed an open window above on the raptors. I point to it and we made our way up the stairs. We crossed over scaffolding but before completely crossing we were shot at by someone. We managed to avade the rounds, but it sent us scurrying back across the bridge.

"Who's shooting at us?" I shouted as a bullet wizzes by me.

"No Idea!" Dismas shouts as another bullet wizzes by me.

"Well, do you have a beat on the shooter?" I asked.

"Yeah, to the upper left rafters." Dismas stated as he loads a new round into Thunder. As he does so, I look over the cover to try and spot the shooter.

I didn't see who was shooting, but I spotted the rifle. I barley managed to pull my head down as the flash went off and a bullet wiz by me. Letting out a small sigh of relief that the bullet missed, I turn to Dismas and asked. "So, what's the plan?"

"The plan is, I shoot at him, and you shank him in the gut." Dismas said casually. He then noticed the disturbed look on my face and quickly followed up. "Or, just knock him unconscious. Either way you are going to need this."

He then tossed me his short sword Lightning. I'm not so good with a sword… or hand to hand combat. But when in Vacou I suppose. Waiting for him to provide cover fire I held my breath as he counted with his fingers as the bullets ceased. He then turns and pointed upward, firing off a round that hit's the huge light above. Sparks flew above the shooter, blinding whoever for a few moments. Taking that time, I used my semblance to make a break for it. Quickly making my way to the other end of the bridge. Once there I sprinted up the stairs, slowly making my way to the shooter. Once there, I found that there wasn't anyone. I crept forward very carefully making sure the White Fang operative wouldn't get the jump on me. Sadly… he got the jump on me. I was tackled from behind by some creep. We struggled as he tossed me around. As I cried out he managed to pull out a knife. Acting on instanced, I stabbed him in the leg with Lightning. Causing him to cry out in a strange moan. With his grip loosening I forced us to turn around before I put my foot against a metal beam. With a simple push we fell down the stairs. Dismas must have heard the struggle, cause once he did, he came running… right into us. After crashing I notice that Thunder was on the ground and two figures were slowly picking themselves up. So I quickly grab the ten cent pistol and aimed it at the two… only for me to see something incredibly weird.

Two Dismas They were as shock as I was. Almost upon sight, the two grabbed ahold of Lightning and begin to fight one another for it. I watched as the two fought each other for it. Dismas mentioned a shape shifter, but this was ridicules. So I aimed Thunder at the two and pulled back the hammer before demanding. "Who's the real Dismas!"

"I am!" They both said simultaneously. "Hey! I don't like it when someone tries to Knick my stuff, least of all my looks!"

Realizing that this could go on for hours, time we don't have. I point the gun at the left Dismas and ask. "When is my Birthday!?"

"… Oct 31St." He replied. I then turn the gun to the right Dismas.

"What is my favorite Cookie?" Ruby asked.

"Chocolate Chip." He answers.

Crap they are both right. Ok, what should I ask them that only the real Dismas would know? As I tried to think of a question, I noticed that the locket around the right Dismas was missing. That's when the question came into my head. I then asked. "What, is your wife's maiden name?"

The two remained quiet before the reaching for their lockets. Dismas on the left just touched his neck. Realizing he doesn't have it but still mutter her name along with the other one. "Rosaceae. Her maiden name is Rosaceae."

It seemed strange that Dismas wouldn't have his locket on him. He never leaves it behind… but he did mention escaping from prison. A perfect Shapeshifter will look like him perfectly. So, hoping I'm right I turn the gun towards the right and fired. The musket ball hits him right between the eyes. Blue blood spurts out onto the ground. It stumbles back a few paces before the grey eye's popped out of their sockets, revealing a pair of glowing blue eyes. He… or rather it falls back over the edge into the fires bellow.

"How… How did you know it was me?" Dismas asked with a surprise look on his face.

"You never take that locket off. Well except when you dropped it that one time. But since you didn't had it that means you forgot it or dropped it. And shapeshifters always look perfect. Or at least they do in those movies." I explain.

Dismas gave me a strange and surprise look. Before saying in an uneasy tone. "Dropped it… right."

What was he talking about. Before I could ask, the entire floor begin to shake. We were tossed to the side, I fell off the side of raptors. That might have been the end of me if Dismas didn't catch me. Looking down, I saw that it wasn't the fire that melted the beams. Cause that would have been more preferable then seeing that the shapeshifter was still alive. It was horrifying to look at. It was a giant made from multiple bones, of presumably human but maybe Faunus. Along with those bones was the bones of deer or horses. Intestates fell from it's gullet. And the same glowing blue lights emerged from the creature in the form of crystals. In all honesty, just looking at that thing. Brought back nightmares of that horrible creature beneath the city sewers. As I stared into it's cold eyes in horror I failed to notice that it was about to swing at me with it's crystalized arm. Before it could hit me, Dismas managed to pull me up just in time. However it did hit the support of the ledge we were on, causing the both of us to fall. I managed to save us by using my Semblance to pull us away from the fire. It then tries to swing at us with it's crystal arm, but I managed to evade it. We landed right back on the other side, where we originally took cover when it was shooting at us. Once behind cover I stopped using my semblance.

Dismas fell to his knee's and nearly vomited, before saying. "Ugh, thanks for the save. Ugh."

"No problem, now how do handle… that thing?" I asked as I hand back Thunder.

"Well, I don't know." Dismas said as he loads a new musket ball into Thunder.

"What?" I asked.

"Yeah, never fought something like this before." Dismas explains.

"… So were doom." I said with a disappointed tone, just as flaming rubble nearly hits us.

"Well, we will be if we continue to stay here." Dismas said before spotting a door within distance of us. "Come on, we are getting out of here."

He took my hand and we made a sprint for it. As we ran, we nearly made it to the other side. However, that thing would not let up. Even with it's legs on fire, it fought through the pain to chase after us. We nearly got away, but that thing was quick for it's size… and disfigured shape. Breaking through the floor of the walkway, it reaches up to try and grab me. Before it did, Dismas pushed me out of the way just in time. However he was caught by it. He was pulled under, with both weapons falling at my feet. The creature let out a horrific screeching noise just mere inches from Dismas face, before tossing him to the side. He hit a broken support hard. If that wasn't bad, a piece of it pierced through his body. He let out a scream in pain, while I watched helplessly as the creature moving towards him. I tried to move, but fear completely over took me. Their was nothing I could do but watch in horror. My hands dropped to the ground, but it didn't hit the ground, rather they touched Lighting and Thunder. I looked down at the weapons. I… don't know why, but I felt a call to them. Like, they were my mine. My…birthright.

3rd POV

Down bellow Dismas struggles to remove himself from the metallic spike. It had impaled him just above the intestines, and lower and it would have torn out of him. As he slowly pulls himself out, the monster made its way over to him. Ready to swing its arm at him. Dismas struggled to pull himself off, when the massive arm swings down on him. Within a split second, he fell to the ground bellow, just as the massive crystal shard cuts the support beam in half. Instead of falling into the sea of fire, Dismas landed on top of a shipment crate, that was just above the flames. The monster tuned to crush it's prey. All Dismas could do, was crawl away, but from the massive blood loss it was getting difficult to move. As the creature raises it's arms to crush Dismas, a shot went out, blasting the tip of the shard. Feeling the pain of the blast it retracted it's limbs as it walked back. Looking up, it saw a crimson figure leaping from the side. Ruby found her courage and leapt from down, landing right in front of Dismas. In hand she held Lighting and Thunder in hand.

She wasn't as good with the sword or flint lock, but she sparred with Dismas enough times to get the gist of fighting with them. She quickly ran over to Dismas before retrieving a bag of musket balls. Now fully armed she was ready to fight. The monster too was ready to fight. It had now regrown it's crystal and had turn to Ruby with a fierce growling sound. It then tried to swipe her off the shipping crate, but she quickly jumped over it and slashed at it's limb with lightning. The Blade cuts deep into the monster flesh, causing the blue blood to drip down into the flames. Like gasoline, the flames grew bigger from each drop. The creature then took another swing at her, this time she evaded by going under the arm. Once it had pass, she used her momentum to leap back before firing off a round from thunder. The bullet pieced its chest, sending out a huge chunk back against the wall. However, the creature slowly begins to regrew it back as it was nothing. Ruby was about to reload when the creature raises its shard limb above her. She quickly evaded the strike by doing a backflip backward now facing the creature, it opens its half jaw like mouth and spat out a slug like tongue. Ruby evaded it and quickly drove lighting deep into it. It lets out a squeal of pain as acidic saliva spits out of the wound. The stuff hits her and had to fall back slightly in pain. Her Aura protected her but it was still pretty painful.

The creature backed away and begin to do something. Ruby didn't know what it was doing but she did not like how those crystals on its body glowed. After a moment it lets out a painful cry as the crystal shards exploded from its body like porcupine darts. Ruby managed to dodge some of them but a few hit her in the arm. Reeling slightly in pain, she pulled them out, unaware of the incoming strike. The Creature backhanded her with its crystal arm. Hitting Ruby and sending her off the side. She managed to grab onto the side of the shipment crate. Her small size aloud her to hold on without her feet touching the flames. But it was close to her cape that a little smoke begin to come up. She struggled to hold on as blood fell from her injured arm. As she does so, the creature turns to Ruby and begins to move closer to her with its crystal arm raised. As Ruby looked onward in horror, she spotted something in the hole in its chest. A crystalized heart, beating that blue liquid. Thinking quickly, she dodged the strike by swaying left of it. Then jumping onto the crystal limb as it pulled out of the shipment container. Being lifted up she twirled herself up and fired off a grape shot into the monster chest, causing it to expose its heart. The heart was punctured in some way's but still intact. Acting quickly, she jumped into the hollowed chest and began to slash at it's arteries, mussels, and what ever foul smelling flesh clung to its soft crystalized heart. The Creature lets out it's loudest scream as Ruby finally rips out it's heart. She fell back onto the shipping container with the heart in arms. It was the size of a fluffy pillow yet despite the shape of and material, it was quite soft. The creature continued to scream as blood oozed out of it's chest. As it walked around it finally had enough and fell silently into the flames.

The Thing from the Stars has been slain.

"It came from the stars, let it return to them."

"Heh, (Huff) Heh (Huff). Now (Huff) I know (Huff) what Dismas (Huff) feels like (Huff) battling these (Huff) things…" Ruby huffed as she laid there. After a few moments she remembered why she jumped down here in the first place. "Oh my Monty. DISMAS!"

She quickly got up and ran over to him. He was loosing a lot of blood. His breath was heavy and he was trying his hardest to stay conscious. Realizing that he needed to get to a hospital, Ruby quickly placed Thunder and Lighting into her belt and tossed him over her shoulders. For someone who was bleeding heavily, he was really heavy. Didn't help that the fight took most of her Aura. As she walked to the edge of the shipping container. The fire begin to rise up, nearly reaching the top of the shipping container. Acting quickly she moved back for a running start. Her aura healed her wounds and she was ready to climb now. With a heavy sigh, ran forward and leapt onto the broken rafters. She nearly fell off from the weight on her shoulders but held on. As she slowly made her way back up the rafters, she was unaware of another presences in the room. She had just got back up when she noticed someone watching her from the other side. Even as the building was slowly collapsing, the Countess still kept her imperialistic pose. While Ruby was climbing up she had calmly walked out of the room that Dismas and Ruby tried to run to. Following close behind was that spider servant from before. As she walked along the opposite side she turned to spot the two. Now that Ruby had made it and spotter her, she spoke in a commanding and frightening calm tone.

"Ah, well. What a wonderful surprise. Two of my least favorit humans, just across the Isle." The Countess said as she turns to them. As she moved forward Ruby without thinking fired off a round that pierced her chest.

"Countess!" The butler cried out before turning to Ruby with an enraged look on his face. He was just about to make a leap towards them when the Countess held out her arm. Ruby watches in horror as the musket ball was pushed out of her body and the wound re-healed.

"You have a good eye and a steady hand little English girl. Course it takes more then a mere ball of lead to kill me. Though, it was a superb shot." The Countess said as she walked forward. At the edge, she looked down into the fires. With a disappointed glair she looked upon the fallen monster.

"Sad, I put a lot of effort into bringing it into creation. Alas it was a futile procedure." She then looked up at Ruby and with a sadistic yet simple smile, she covered her lip with her fan before saying. "Enjoy your victory little one. You've clearly earned it. However the next time we meet, I'll enjoy your blood with a glass of 1587 Chateau Lafite. Till then, I wish you agréable soirée."

She then walked away without saying another word. The Butler followed close behind her. Ruby watches in distain for that… thing, as she disappears behind a cloud of smoke. As she knew what Dismas felt about her, fire begin to fall from the crumbling roof. So quickly grabbing ahold of Dismas she used the last bit of her semblance to push them out of the window, before a sudden burst of fire emerges from the huge gasp of fresh air. They landed in ocean as the fire slowly overtook the warehouses. The view pulls away from the warehouse. As firefighters tried to put out the fire, Ruby emerges from the water nearby with Dismas in her hand. She struggled to keep both from drowning, but managed to swim to shore. As she pulls him up from the water she noticed right away that he wasn't breathing and begin to panic.

"Oh, Monty. HELP, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!" Ruby cried out as she held onto Dismas. The view pulls in on his eyes as she said to him. "Hold on Dismas. Help is coming. Just hold on."

Unknown location, unknown amount of days later.

The view pulls up on a Dismas closed eye's. As he slept silently a small boop sound can be heard. It repeated itself ever few moments. As the sound continues, it became harder and harder to ignore. Dismas eyes begin to twitch. After a few more his eyes slowly open. He found himself looking up at a white ceiling rather then the starry sky. It took Dismas a few moments before realizing that he was in a hospital gurney. Expecting handcuffs or maybe even a guard standing at the post, he was surprise to see nothing of the sort. Slowly pulling himself up he soon felt weight by his right leg. Looking down, he noticed that Ruby was sleeping soundly by his bed side. She was covered in bandages and sleeping in a Wheel chair. A Sudden and sickening thought went through Dismas head. He was about to wake her when a familiar voice came from behind him.

"She's not crippled." The voice states. Looking by the window was Paracus, reading a book on Faunas bone structure. "It's just that the hospital ran out chairs. Other then a concussion and a few scrapes she is completely fine."

"Oh, thank god." Dismas said raspy as he laid back in his bed. As he lets out the sigh of relief, Paracus closed the book and promptly stood up.

"She's been visiting you. Every day since your admission." Paracus states.

"How long?" Dismas asked.

"Oh, just about half a week now. Hasn't spoken to anyone else, not since she learned what her sister and friends did to you while in prison." Paracus explains.

"Ah… cruel but fair I guess." Dismas said before letting out a painful chuckle.

"Yeah, it's been hell for them. Even more hell for those journalists who slandered your name while you were on the run." Paracus remarks as she grabs a blanket from an unoccupied bed. As she wrapped it around Ruby she continued on. "Her Father, Mr. Xiao Long. Was an entirely different story."

"How so?" Dismas asked.

"Oh, you know. That fanatic fatherly need for protecting his spawn. Yadi Ya, point is he was harassing everyone he suspected to be assisting you. However that led to multiple brawls that had campus security ejected him from the campus." Paracus explains.

"Ouch, that must have been hard on you guys." Dismas said felling slightly bad that his friends were under scrutiny for something he was framed for.

"Don't be, he was extremely paranoid. Once he mistook Mr. Winchester's snide remark as a threat to his other daughter, to which campus security was forced to drag him off twenty minutes later." Paracus explains with a reminiscing grin on her face. "Ah, That was a lovely afternoon. Now that Ruby has return, he's been cursing himself for breaking school rules. Oh and Cardin's arm."

"How come?" Dismas asked.

"Oh, because he pinned him to the ground and made him beg for forgiveness. Once the guards arrived he gave Cardin a spiral fracture above the left radius before prying him off." Paracus explains with that smile still on her face. She can still hear the sound of bone snapping and Cardin's tears hitting the payment.

"Yeah, I get that part. I mean why did he regret doing so?" Dismas said getting her back onto the conversation.

"Oh, that. He frequently did this so many times that he was banned from Campus grounds for a month. That and Cardin is pushing for a restraining order as well." Paracus explains.

"Ah, so that's why he's not here." Dismas states.

Paracus nods before her scroll rings. She looks at it for a few moments before placing it away. She then walked over to the side table and pulled out another Scroll. She said in a casual tone. "Right, so I have class in thirty minutes. Till then please get more rest. A nurse will be nearby but if you want to talk with someone, or need anything just give a call."

She then begins to walk out the door, before she left she stopped by the door. Under her breath, she said. "Oh, Dismas. Glad you got her back. It's been annoying to hear her sister ranting about her safety."

That may sound cruel, but Dismas simply let out a small chuckle. Paracus was never a people person. So it was her way of saying she's glad Ruby's back. She then left the room, leaving the two to rest. Dismas laid back in his bed, he closes his eye's and tried to get some rest. However, before he could fall unconscious his scroll begins to buzz. Dismas opens his eyes and looked over at his Scroll. He wasn't that tired, so he figured he might as well check what is causing it to Buzz. To his surprise, it was a text. From Driežas mergina. He quickly opens up the chat and read the message.

"Is the kid asleep?" The message asked. Dismas looked up and noticed their was a camera looking down at him.

Figuring that she still wants to remain anonymous Dismas wrote back. "Yeah, she is."

"Good, I want to thank you for destroying that infernal laboratory. Even if you killed my brothers in arms." Driežas mergina wrote.

"They didn't really left me much choice. Still, if it's any consolation. I think Ruby shot at the Countess. I don't know, still was woozy from the blood loss." Dismas replied back.

"Explains the attitude. Still I'd appreciate that you only kill if you have no option. I still am a White Fang member." Driežas mergina wrote. This caught Dismas attention. All this time he has been working with a White Fang member. He understand why someone wants to kill her, but betray the organization to do so? Even the most vocal WF member didn't dare betray their leader for a chance to kill the countess. So why is she doing it?

He then typed. "Who are you really? I've met your brothers in arms. Non would have betrayed their commander to kill her. Or at least attempt to. So why would you?"

Dismas waited a few moments and got no response. He sat his Scroll down on his lap in frustration. If he had to guess, she probably cut the connection after getting the message. He was about to shut it off when he received another Message. He then looked at his scroll, reading the final message as the view pulls in on the scroll.

"We've met before. Not only that but I almost killed you. However after that night… I begin to question the role of the White Fang should humanity fall to these new abominations. After a week of self-loathing, my Kahn ordered me to investigate into Commander Adam's activities. I did and I discovered who this Countess really is. This is where my orders become hazy. Along with spying on Adam, I was also ordered that should he do something that crosses a line. He must be illuminated as soon as possible, along with what ever he's planning. I can kill Adam, but I can't kill the Countess. However the more I learn about her, the more I learn about you. Rumors that you are one of the few humans who managed to kill her. Hence why I save you. However due to the failure to silence this wretched worm I must go underground for a time. Don't contact me, nor tell anyone about me. I will be in touch once another opportunity to silence her appears. Driežas mergina."

Inside a new White Fang base.

The view pulls out on the scroll. However, it wasn't Dismas scroll. Rather it was a different one. The view slowly turns around. Revealing a White Fang operative known as Driežas mergina to be Ilia Amitola. As she closed out the messages a voice called out to her.

"Ilia!" The voice called out. Quickly hiding her scroll she walked out her hiding spot. She moved down the hall towards the room. There in front of a huge door was Adam, standing next to him was… her. The countess. She's still alive, and ever so close to Adam. Ever since her arrival from Atlas she has been by his side like a tick on a dog. Worst yet Adam has begin to assist her in her consumption of blood. Mostly feeding the captured humans but lately a few White Fang Brothers and sister have gone missing.

"Yes, Leader Taurus?" Ilia asked.

"Recently, we had an incident with the Human referred to as 'The Highwayman.' I'm sure you were well acquainted with him during your mission in Menagerie." Adam states.

"Yes, I have met him before." Ilia replies.

"Then, you are aware that he had recently uncovered our attempts of inserting double agents into the field. One being of himself." The Countess states.

"Yes… I am also aware Dr. Vulpes burned in his own lab." Ilia remarks with more hostility in her tone.

"Yes, a shame indeed. With his death we can no longer make any more agents. However at least his latest agent managed to complete it's task before the child killed it." The Countess said with a slight irritated look on her face.

"What mission?" Ilia asked? She was put in charge of all operations involving sabotage, counter intelligence, and espionage by Adam himself. Yet she never heard anything about a mission on Beacon grounds.

"It doesn't matter now. I have a task for you involving the human behind this door." Adam interjected.

Ilia wanted to get back on the conversation about the mission, but by the way Adam was acting she felt that it was best to simply wait till that bug left his side. Question was how? With a heavy sigh Ilia replies. "What task is required of me, Commander Adam?"

"He claims to know things. Things that we have lost in that fire and more. He is willing to trade everything he knows in return for saliva." Adam explains.

That last part caught her off guard. "I Beg your pardon?"

"Not anyone's saliva, mine." The Countess interjected.

"And that's… problematic why?" Ilia asked with a brow raised. To be honest this was weirder than anything.

The Countess was about to berate Ilia for her ignorance, but Adam stepped in. "Right, you weren't here for this. But the disease spread by her blood can be cured. It requires her saliva as the main ingredient. Hence her spit is worth more then any High-end Atlas Medicine. As strange as that sounds… it's something that we must hold onto as long as possible. However, for our future espionage to continue we need that knowledge."

"Wouldn't it be easier to interrogate the man rather then bargain with him?" Ilia asked trying hard to take this seriously.

"He's wearing a suicide vest. We try anything he set's it off, and we loose that knowledge. Hence why your called in. To try and undo the vest." Adam said as he holds out a suicide vest disarming equipment.

Ilia looked down at the simple lock pick and plyers. This isn't the first time she had disarmed it. However, she was really wondering if literal spit was worth her life. After a few moments Ilia lets out a small sigh before grabbing the equipment from Adam.

"(Sigh) This better be worth the trouble." Ilia said before camouflaging herself to hide in the dark room.

Adam gives a small nod before turning to the door. He open the door entering the room with the Countess and secretly Ilia. In the room was a single man. He was slightly pudgy with pale skin. His once well pressed suit was ruffled from the conditions he endured under the White Fang's care. Didn't help that the suicide vest prevented him from fixing it. When the three entered the room, he looked up sporting a day-old black eye. He had a simple smile plastered on his face, but upon seeing the Countess his smile grew into a toothy grin.

"Hello… Countess." Mr. Wick said before letting out a small chuckle.

Hello everybody, Wombag1786 here.

Phew, finally done with this arc. Or at least the hard part. Have to say this wasn't the original way I want this to go but I'm still proud about it. I was going to write that ending in the next chapter but I think I dragged this on for some time. That and I want to finish this before it's third year aniversery. Didn't help that I got Sick and had to return to school all within the same week. But that's life I guess. Oh and I have another story that is practically neck and neck with one another, and it's almost done as well. (Sigh) I digress, let's answer some questions and comments.

From Zealot24: Nope! Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope, Nope. (*While saying so, Wombag boards up the windows and doors.) Last time we had a 'DEUS VULT' chant it brought not only the crusaders, but also the pope, nuns, satanic pope, satanic nuns, and the Spanish inquisition. And Nobody, expected them. (Sigh) Look, what I meant was originally I was planning on Reynauld to show up at the end. Now I'm changing my mind and maybe bringing him in as a cameo.

Anglo blood type. … Um, slight spoilers, but let's just say I have been leaving multiple hints about the truth behind the crew, Dismas, and that night. This is one of those hints. All will be revealed in season three. (If you haven't figure it out already, then I bet five dollars that your jaw will drop when it's revealed.)

Hey as they say. Let's party like it's 1920's again. Let the good times roll once again.

Thanks for writing Zealot24

From VGBlackwing: Yep. Though originally he was suppose to be dragged back to Beacon before Ruby saves him and then shoots her doppelgänger. Still all's well ends well I suppose. Well I did combine two chapters to save time with the story on this one. Next arc should be more enjoyable since we will be seeing Dismas on a date. Before a certain two school girls, White Fang commando's, and Ancient Crimson Curse members all try to ruin the date. Oh how fun.

Thanks for writing VGBlackwing

From Carre: 1. No problem

2A. It's painted. Pluss it would destroy the device.

2B. Five dollars say their dead. Another says they are in Vacou. It honestly anyone's guest.

2C. *Shotgun cocking noise. Yeeeepppp

*popping the p.

3A. She is definitely one of the most interesting characters to write. Especially when she shows off.

3B.

3C. Well what about that one guy from Fishman arc? He was locked up, granted dragged away by fishman, but still was locked up.

4. Tack, låt oss hoppas att Roaring 20,20's talet lever upp till dess namn. (I translated that correctly?)

5. Hey, speaking of translation. I just translated the 6th chapter of RWBY noir final song. Can I get your impute on the spelling? I don't speak Swedish and I trust Google translator even less.

"Oh Death" English

Ooh death
Whooooah death
Won't you spare me over 'til a another year?

Well what is this that I cant see
With ice cold hands taking hold of me

Well I am death none can excel
I'll open the door to heaven or hell
Whoa death someone would pray
Could you wait to call me another day

The children prayed the preacher preached
Time and mercy is out of your reach
I'll fix your feet so you can't walk
I'll lock your jaw so you can't talk

I'll close your eyes so you cant see
This very hour come and go with me
Death I come to take the soul
Leave the body and leave it cold

To drop the flesh up off the frame
Dirt and worm both have a claim

Ooh death
Whooooah death
Won't you spare me over 'til a another year?

My mother came to my bed
Placed a cold towel up on my head
My head is warm my feet are cold
Death is moving upon my soul
Oh death how you treating me
You closed my eyes so I can't see
Well you hurting my body you make cold
You run my life right out of my soul

Oh death please consider my age
Please don't take me at this stage
My wealth is all at your command
If you will move your icy hands

Oh the young, the rich, or poor
How will like me no (?)
No wealth no land no silver or gold
Nothing satisfies me but your soul

Ooh death
Whooooah death

Won't you spare me over 'til a another year?
Won't you spare me over 'til a another year?
Won't you spare me over 'til a another year?

"Oh Death" Swedish translation.

Vem död någon skulle be

Kan du vänta med att ringa mig en annan dag

Barnen bad prekaren predikade

Ingenting tillfredsställer mig men din själ

Ooh död

Whooooah död

Kommer du inte att skona mig för ett år till?

Kommer du inte att skona mig för ett år till?

Kommer du inte att skona mig för ett år till?

Thanks for writing Carre

From Kirston: I had a wonderful (Broadest terms of wonderful) time. I hope you did as well. Oh one question, what's with the nurse giving the finger? Updated profile pic?

Thanks for writing Kirston

From gold crown dragon: Thanks, I had a wonderful time. Also, did you try to write your review like a Haiku poem?

Thanks for writing gold crown dragon

Alright, with that done I can't wait to start on the next chapter. The next arc is more enticing then this one in my opinion. Oh and before I forget, Driežas mergina is Lithuanian for 'The lizard girl.' For anyone curious. Till then please Fav, Fol, and leave a question or comment down bellow. This is WOmabg1786 signing off.
