"Prove to me you still have a fighting chance." Draegor provoked.

"Just you watch! I activate my Spell 'Monster Reincarnation'. First I'll discard my 'Baby Dragon' to bring my 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' back to my hand." Joshua chanted as he retrieved his dragon back from the Grave. "Next I'll summon 'Black Dragon's Chick'." A red egg appeared and from it emerged a baby version of the black dragon. "Then I'll use my Monster's effect to send itself to the Grave and Special Summon my 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' from my hand!" The baby dragon was surrounded with dark energy that rapidly grew in size. Soon the 'Red-Eyes' emerged from the energy, back in all its glory.

"So you managed to bring your 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' out again. Congratulations. My 'Blue-Eyes' is stronger still." Draegor grunted with crossed arms as his own dragon loomed over its rival.

"That may be so, but I'm about to change that. I have another version of my 'Red-Eyes'; one that will be more powerful than your dragon could ever be." Joshua claimed.

"Bold words. I hope you are prepared to back them up." The masked man laughed.

"I am. Using my 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon', I will offer it to summon 'Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon'!" Joshua's monster soon began to morph and reshape itself, becoming more like a wyvern as its arms faded away, then glowing red lines ran across its body like veins. The crowd was once more shocked by the event taking place before them.

"My new dragon has a special ability that gives it an extra 300 ATK for each Dragon in my Graveyard, and I count three. That raises his ATK to 3300!" The dragon's veining lines began to glow brighter with power as the beast gained more strength. "Now 'Red-Eyes', attack his 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon'!" The dark dragon fired its attack, incinerating Draegor's 'Blue-Eyes' dragon.

"Not bad." Draegor said, seeming unfazed by what just happened. "But before your turn is over," He added, "Activate Trap: 'Castle of Dragon Souls'!" Draegor chanted and a large spiral castle rose behind him. Dragon-like spirits flew about the castle freely, a few stopping to check their surroundings and inspect the people before them. "With this, I can banish one of my Dragons from my Graveyard." He said as his 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' appeared in a spirit-like form, then it flew off to the castle to take refuge inside its walls. "Once I do, I can target one Monster and raise its ATK by 700 for one turn, and I choose my 'Maiden'."

The castle radiated with energy briefly, then the energy transferred to Draegor's Monster, giving it strength. "And since I just targeted my 'Maiden' with an effect, her second effect activates, allowing me to summon out a second 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon'!" He proclaimed and the 'Maiden' formed another summoning circle, allowing another 'Blue-Eyes' to pass through and take the place of the first. Joshua looked on confused for a moment.

"I don't quite understand why you didn't use that on your 'Blue-Eyes' when I attacked it. Your dragon would have been stronger, so why did you wait to use it? What are you up to?" Joshua asked, but Draegor didn't answer him. Instead he stared with his featureless mask. "Well it doesn't matter. I don't need you using that on your 'Maiden' again, so you won't be needing that anymore. 'Mystical Space Typhoon'!" Joshua chanted and a whirling cyclone formed and made its way for the castle behind Draegor.

The walls of the castle began to break apart and fly off in all directions. The dragon spirits scattered as quickly as they could to avoid the storm. Soon the building was completely decimated. Despite this, Joshua could hear Draegor laughing.

"Excellent." The masked man smiled.

"What? What did you do?" Joshua obviously couldn't tell what was so funny.

"When you destroyed the 'Castle of Dragon Souls', I was allowed to activate its second effect. Return to me, my beast! Special Summon the 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon'!" From the ruins of the castle rose the spirit-like 'Blue-Eyes', but as it flew over to side with the other, its body quickly returned to its full, living form.

Joshua was a little surprised by this, but he still had the upper hand. "Even if you had three of those dragons, they still wouldn't be able to defeat my 'Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon'." He proclaimed.

"You are right. Perhaps I should take a page from your book and use something similar." Draegor thought.

"What?"

"For one to use Dragons to fight for them, you must know their strengths and weaknesses. You must care for and understand their potential. Even if it may not seem as though some would work together, it is there that great power may be found." Said Draegor, like he was reciting a quote.

"What are you talking about?" Joshua asked confused.

"Allow my turn to unfold and tell you. I cast 'Monster Reborn' and I will resurrect your 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' to my side of the field." The black dragon rose from a summoning circle in front of Draegor, now serving him.

"My 'Red-Eyes'. What are you doing?" Joshua shouted.

"By reviving one of your Dragons from the Grave, your 'Darkness Dragon' loses 300 of its ATK. But that is not all. I will be using it to summon out another Dragon."

"If you do that, then my 'Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon' will gain its 300 ATK once my 'Black Dragon' returns to the Grave." Joshua laughed.

"Who ever said it would return to the Grave?" Draegor chuckled. "I will be banishing your 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon' to Special Summon my 'Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon'!"

"Darkness what dragon?" Joshua watched as his original 'Red-Eyes' was banished from the field, only to be replaced by another dragon that looked exactly like his 'Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon', only this one had a metal coating over its entire body. The creature let out a terrifying roar for all to hear.

"So you use Light and Dark Dragons to fight for you?" Joshua sounded displeased.

"I do. Chaos can be quite useful when harnessed properly, and this dragon is no exception. Allow me to demonstrate that now. I will use my 'Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon's' effect to Special Summon any Dragon from my hand or my Grave, and I choose the third and final 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' that I have in my hand." Draegor declared and the 'Red-Eyes' dragon let out a unique roar, summoning the third 'Blue-Eyes' to its side.

Joshua's jaw dropped to the floor harder that it had before in his life. "You mean you had three of those dragons this whole time?!" He panicked. "Well, it doesn't matter, my dragon is just as strong as them."

"This is true. Which is why I will have one of my 'Blue-Eyes' attack it now." Draegor declared.

"B-But that will kill both of them!"

"One must do what is necessary to come out on top. Now my 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon'! Bring down the creature before you. I will honor your sacrifice as it will grant us victory in this fight and allow us to continue in many battles to come!" Draegor's words carried a heavy, weighted truth to them. Joshua could tell that he meant every word he said.

The 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' fired its attack at the 'Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon', who also countered with its own attack. As their attacks made contact, the resulting collision caused a massive shockwave that knocked the entire crowd to the ground. Both dragons were equal in strength, resulting in both of the creatures' defeats.

"Now you are wide open and with nothing to protect you." Said Draegor with his chilling tone.

"You threw away one of your own dragons just to take out mine." Joshua clenched his fist in anger. "How could you do such a thing?!"

"I never waste my creatures. They are special to me, and after this I will no longer need to prove it. I cast the Quick Spell 'Silver's Cry'! Return to me, 'Blue-Eyes'!" Draegor chanted. Another, different, roar could be heard from the heavens and through the clouds descended the white dragon, taking its place next to the other two.

"It's… It's back… How?" Joshua asked, shaking in his boots.

"What was that about me throwing away my creatures?" Draegor smirked. "Go my three 'Blue-Eyes'! Attack with Triple White Lightning!"
