Author's Note: Please read!
So when I started writing this fic, I had just moved away from my school and my job. I had nothing to occupy my days with anymore. I went from having zero free time, to having too much of it.
I had been planning this story out for about a year before that, but I never had the time to sit down and begin writing the chapters.
So for the first couple of years, I was on top of this fic…And then I got back into school, and I'm sure my long-time readers noticed my dip in updates.
And now I'm (hopefully) finishing up my college years this year, which is great, BUT the school is very intense. And I mean intense. People move to this school from across the country, and it's brutally fast and hard. So that leaves me with so little free time, it's taken me months just to write this note up for you guys.
I'm not kidding when I say I have to choose between sleeping and writing this fic.
This sucks. I know it does. And I actually seriously considered retiring this fic early. Telling you all how the story ends and being done with it. But then I realised that wouldn't be fair to you guys, and it wouldn't be fair to myself. I want to actually write this story, and I'm sure you guys want to actually read it.
And I AM still writing this story, don't believe I abandoned it. This is just me telling you why I'm taking so long updating.
I actually wasn't even going to make this, because I know you poor people will see the chapter update and get excited, and I am so sorry for that. But I also feel it's unfair to go months without updating and leaving you guys thinking I've ditched the fic. I haven't. Life is just really hectic right now. I'm so sorry you guys :(
As soon as I have the next chapter finished, I will delete this note and add in the new chapter in its place.
