Far away near the universal center tucked away in hyperspace, was a city ship, that had not left hyperspace in over ten thousand years. Larger than Atlantis, it housed the last remaining Furlings. Their war with the Nakai had dwindled their population down to less than five thousand, it had grown to over five hundred thousand in this new secure base. Resources were limited, drones were used to search for resources to bring back for the city. Within this city was a council room where the elders for the race met and planned.

Mir, the youngest of the elders on the council, "Our technicians indicate the last of the drones we sent with the Tau'ri have been destroyed."

Qeyne, who was the eldest, "It is to be expected the Tau'ri fought with the Jinn. They are far too powerful to wage war."

"The last scan we received showed the Tau'ri were eliminating the Jinn in significant numbers. They are strong allies. We saw how they destroyed the Nakai ships," spoke Mir.

Qeyne replied, "Yes they would have been formidable allies, even giving us hope in our war with the Nakai.

"Let us go and help them. We can send more drones and a control ship," replied Mir.

"Out of the question. We do not want to draw the attention of the Jinn. We are already at war with one of the original races, a second and our doom is certain," replied Qeyne.

Mir, not satisfied, stormed out of the council chambers.

"Such are the young for they rush into things," replied Qeyne.

Tena, another council member, spoke, "And the old do not wish to change things,"

"Why do you say this?" asked Qeyne.

"The old do not like change," replied Tena, as she left the room.

Mir was pacing in his room, when a knock, "Enter."

Tena walked in, "I see you are anxious,"

"Yes, I feel we need to help the Tau'ri. They are our best chance to leave hyperspace and live like normal once again," spoke Mir.

"I believe you are correct. However the council will not be swayed by either of us," spoke Tena.

Mir considering her words, "Then what do you suggest?"

"We have ten command ships each with a full complement of drones. Take one to the Tau'ri home-world and help defend them. I will push the council that we must support your actions in the hopes of winning, or face the Jinn if they defeat the Tau'ri," spoke Tena.

"I must ponder your words," replied Mir. Tena took her leave of Mir.

Mitchell was standing on the bridge of the Destiny, "What do we do now?"

"I honestly do not know," replied Hailey.

"We've lost Dr. Jackson, Thrud, Oma and Vala. Thor and Commander O'Neill are going to kill you," spoke Zalenka.

"Gee thanks! It's bad enough we lost a planet, but those four had to be on it!" exclaimed Mitchell, looking a single star over the wormhole below.

O'Neill found himself standing in what appeared to be space, except he wasn't in a ship, with a large humanoid figure standing before him. In fact, far below him, he could see his ship and the other DN-1103's. The energy blasts from the Old Ones were frozen.

"Excuse me what just happened?" asked O'Neill.

Quetzalcoatl spoke, "I have frozen time in your plane of existence and brought you to mine. This is the realm of the ascended."

"You can do that?" asked O'Neill.

"I can," replied Quetzalcoatl.

"Have we met before?" asked O'Neill. Now seeing Jackson, Vala, Thrud, Oma and a man who appeared to be Jackson's grandfather Nicholas Ballard, coming from behind Quetzalcoatl.

"Yes Jack this is Quetzalcoatl, we met him back a few years ago on P7X-377. The Crystal Skull, where we left my grandfather," spoke Jackson who was appearing next to Quetzalcoatl.

Suddenly Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer appeared next to O'Neill.

"Hold on a minute!" shouted O'Neill, "He's trying to kill me!"

"He will do no such thing!" replied Quetzalcoatl.

"You are breaking the covenant !" shouted Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer.

"The covenant is broken. Magister Tenebris is no more," replied Quetzalcoatl.

Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer appeared shocked.

"This war is over!" spoke Quetzalcoatl.

"The Jinn shall never rest. This is our realm, we will tolerate no trespassers!" replied Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer.

"This is the fifth race, they are descendants of the four races. They shall endure!" spoke Quetzalcoatl.

"Never!" replied Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer.

"Jack Quetzalcoatl is one of the creators of the universe. His people created four races to populate the galaxy. The Ori, Nakai, Jinn, and Ifrit, we are apparently descendants from all four of those races. The only people to have ever existed from all four," spoke Jackson.

"Now I don't understand what Daniel is talking about but if your one of the original races we do not want to wipe you out. We want peace," spoke O'Neill.

"Quetzalcoatl , we don't want this war. We do not want to fight the Jinn. As you can see we can put up a pretty good fight if we have to. Surely there is some compromise we can make to end this war," spoke Jackson.,

"Know this Quetzalcoatl, every Jinn will give their life to destroy your fifth race," replied Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer.

Quetzalcoatl spoke, "How many have you lost?"

"Over five hundred thousand," answered Janus as he walked up.

"No matter we will destroy every one of you," spoke Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer.

Quetzalcoatl glanced up looking into the distance, "It seems this matter may already be decided."

Everyone turning could see a host of ascended beings approaching, led by Sheppard and Fraiser.

"I think you should reconsider any war with us. See we have some new recruits. You have done considerable damage to Earth. However our little Napolean here Dr. Fraiser beat you to the punch," spoke Sheppard.

"I've been ascending everyone before your energy blasts could destroy them. You made it difficult. Right now we have about a billion new ascended, who are kinda pissed at you for destroying their homes. I think we have you outgunned," spoke Fraiser.

"Now they maybe new to being ascended, but I suspect they are more than ready to rip you apart," spoke Sheppard.

"So nobody died?" asked O'Neill.

"Some did, I couldn't get everyone. But I was able to ascend most," replied Fraiser.

"So a billion with a B, to less than five hundred thousand," spoke O'Neill.

"This can not be!" shouted Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer.

Quetzalcoatl spoke, "It is time for the Jinn to leave this universe. Follow me on to the next one."

"What will we find there?" asked Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer.

"I do not know, but it will be a new realm and new experiences. You are ready," spoke Quetzalcoatl.

"Quetzalcoatl your going to leave our universe?" asked Ballard.

"Yes Nicholas. I broke the covenant, I must move on," replied Quetzalcoatl.

"Well we may not be able to do that," spoke Janus.

"Why not?" asked O'Neill.

"Thor activated an anti-ascension device to destroy all ascended in this galaxy," replied Janus.

Sheppard and Fraiser kept the newly ascended Tau'ri at a distance to avoid this conversation.

"He did what! He was supposed to have destroyed those plans!" screamed O'Neill.

"Quetzalcoatl is there anything you can do about this?" asked Jackson.

"This is extremely bad news. The energy bound in this area from the battle will be hit by the wave from this device it will cascade and it will be carried around the entire universe. There is no place to hide," spoke Quetzalcoatl.

"I'm going to kick his little grey butt when I see him," spoke O'Neill.

"Can we just go and disable it? I mean that plane has time stopped," asked Jackson.

"I sense a field around it that would prevent any ascended beings from approaching it," spoke Quetzalcoatl.

"How long do we have?" asked Thrud.

"Time is irrelevant," replied Quetzalcoatl.

"What about moving on to the next Universe?" asked Jackson.

"That is the only option available," replied Quetzalcoatl.

"Then we can come back to this one after it has passed?" asked Sheppard.

"No the wormhole is one way, there is no return," replied Quetzalcoatl.

"What if there was a way to move the device?" asked Janus.

"It could be moved to another place in the galaxy where it could dissipate safely," replied Quetzalcoatl.

"How can we move it?" asked Jackson.

"Dr. McKay knows how to move wormholes," replied Janus.

"Wait why can't we all just descend? The Old Ones and Quetzalcoatl could then leave to the next universe which was their plan," asked O'Neill.

"You never truly descend. It would still affect you," replied Janus.

"Why can't we have Thor deactivate the device?" asked O'Neill.

"The device is ready to activate, there is no time to disable the device," spoke Janus.

"Dr. Fraiser could you ascend McKay to us?" asked O'Neill.

Dr. McKay found himself standing next to Sheppard, "Your alive!... Wait where is this? I was just in the gateroom."

"Relax Rodney, you have been ascended," spoke Sheppard.

"McKay we need to use a wormhole to move the anti-ascended device that Thor has activated before it destroys all ascended beings in the universe," spoke O'Neill.

"Wait you ascended me, now I'm in danger of this device? What great friends you all are!" exclaimed McKay.

"That's right Rodney. Thor also put Lemon juice in it just for you!" explained Sheppard.

"Now that's not funny!" exclaimed McKay.

"McKay focus, can we use a wormhole to move this device?" asked O'Neill.

"Yes, we would need to open a wormhole near it, push it in, and send it where ever you want it to go," replied McKay.

"We can't approach it," replied Jackson, "Any ascended being would be destroyed before they can reach it."

"Can we use your technology to jump the worm home to it?" asked O'Neill.

"We don't have it that precise. You would need to move it once it was in place, and I don't know how to do that," replied McKay.

"New plan then. Anyone?" asked Jackson.

"Wait, I may not know how but whoever took the Athena and Hades, may know," spoke McKay.

"Fraiser I need Caldwell and Lorne," replied O'Neill.

Caldwell and Lorne were surprised to find themselves surrounded by so many.

"No time for explanations. Do you all know who took you? How to contact them?" asked O'Neill.

"The Furlings took us. It took a lot of convincing but they finally believed we were friends with the Alterans and Asgard," spoke Lorne.

"Can you contact them?" asked O'Neill.

"They are hiding in hyperspace, we don't have a way to contact them," spoke Caldwell.

"I have searched this universe trying to find where they were hiding. Hyperspace was not a place that I imagined," spoke Quetzalcoatl.

"Can you by chance get one of them here?" asked Jackson.

"No hyperspace is beyond my reach," replied Quetzalcoatl.

Everyone stood around pondering what to do. McKay would start to say something and then wouldn't. Janus was lost in deep thought. Sheppard was fidgeting.

"Can we turn back time like Carter did on the Odyssey?" asked O'Neill.

Quetzalcoatl looked at Quctenificaltenfinuhbudswer, who reluctantly nodded after several minutes.

"We have much to discuss," spoke Quetzalcoatl .

O'Neill found himself standing in the gateroom on Altera, hearing his voice, "Tell Carter I love her! Give the kids a hug for me."

"No!" screamed Carter. Landry catching her as she sank to the floor!

Thor spoke, "Tell him not to do this, there is another way! I'm sorry Janus, my friend."

O'Neill shouted, "Stop!"

Thor looked amazed to see O'Neill standing next to him as he was ready to activate the device.

Carter looked up and could see O'Neill standing there, in white energy as an ascended.

"I'll explain in a minute," shouted O'Neill.

Harriman spoke, "All DN-1103's have detonated, a wave of anti-ascended energy has swept a large portion of the system."

Janus turned, "The Old Ones left a long time ago."

"I know, the Old Ones have passed on, our people are safe?" asked O'Neill.

"Yes, everyone is safe," replied Janus.

"Sir we have a wormhole activated in orbit around Earth," shouted Harriman.

"You got to be kidding me," spoke O'Neill.

"Tons of drones like the ones that accompanied Athena and Hades back are coming through," replied Harriman.

"It's the Furlings," replied O'Neill.

"I must take my leave from you, O'Neill," replied Janus.

"Yes I remember the deal the Alterans and Lanteans must leave as well," replied O'Neil.

"Don't worry your friends are neither and will get to remain behind," replied Janus.

"I will miss you, my friend," replied O'Neill.

"You are the fifth race, this universe is now your charge," spoke Janus, as he vanished for the last time to be seen in this universe.
