I wrote this... more than a year and a half ago. Yup. But I'm just a really lazy person, and final exams, and school... you know. Fortunately, I'm getting back into writing random stuff, so updates should happen when I remember! Yay!

On another note, the really lame audiobook series is back! Starting January 1, 2020, there will be new episodes every month, or less. Look out for those!

A third note: I'm not entirely sure how people still find this fanfic after ages of inactivity. But I'm glad people still like it. :)

Chapter 70: Will Treaty POV: The Magic Rock

September 6, 12:00pm

After an amazing lunch with his friends from Castle Redmont, they all decided to search for more magic, maybe blue, rocks. It went very… well, interestingly.

Flashback

"Wait, so we're just walking around looking for rocks?" Will asked incredulously. It sounded like one of the worst plans ever. "It's six in the morning!"

"Exactly," Horace said. "We have to spare Cassandra from her princess duties! She must be bored! And if it's six in the morning, we'll just have more time to find a nice looking stone!"

"Okay," Alyss said after a few moments. "That sounds like a reasonable plan. Though, it's not really a good plan. Where's Plan B?"

"Umm…" Horace muttered. "Let's get to the rock hunting!

After a quite a few hours, it was already eleven, so the friends decided to head back and eat lunch. Sadly, they had no luck finding a magic rock anywhere.

"What a waste of time," Will sighed. "I could be trying to finish studying for that horrible test!"

End Flashback

They were currently going to Alyss's dorm room, as she was the one who had the rock. The friends were going to look at it a bit more closely, hopefully finding out what type of stone they needed to get back to Araluen.

"We're here!" Alyss announced, unlocking the door. She peeked inside. "Hermione's not here."

The five friends entered the room and Will closed the door behind them. Alyss took out a small container from her bag and opened it, revealing the rock. Jenny reached forward, ready to take it out. But as soon as she touched it, there was a blinding flash of light. Will barely had time to think "oh no" before he crashed face-first into the grass.

Standing up and dusting himself, Will realized they were in the exact same meadow that they had left from. Jenny was still touching the rock, and she looked surprised.

"So basically we went around for five hours, and we had the key the whole time," she said.

"Let's go find Cassandra!" Horace announced. They all trooped off towards Castle Araluen. Luckily for them, they had been near the castle when they had popped off into another world.
