Punishment

Hera sighed as she considered the young heroes' recent confrontation with Sybaris. The Arachne incident a few months prior had gotten her thinking about all the mortals the gods had punished over the years. At the time, the punishments had seemed justified. The mortals had defied the gods, and they couldn't allow that. Now, she wondered if they might have gone too far.

Cronus had already tried to use Arachne and Sybaris' anger to his advantage. How many others might he similarly turn against the young ones? Perhaps the gods should have showed more mercy when they'd had the chance.
