Amazoness Trap
Yuzu and Shun race through the streets of Hartland, "Why couldn't I defeat her?" Edo wonders. "Is it because she's Yusho Sakaki's acquaintance?" He asked himself. He looks at his torn Smile World "If she's that man's acquaintance then I must crush her. A fool who talks about making people smile through Duelling…Someone who uses Smile World…I can't lose to her!" Edo thinks.
Yuzu and Shun suddenly hears Shingo scream. "Was that Sawatari?!" Yuzu gasped. "This way!" Shun said as he leads Yuzu in the direction of the sound. Gongenzaka was blasted off his feet and he lands next to Shingo as Yuzu and Shun arrives. "Gongenzaka! Sawatari!" Yuzu calls out as she runs to them. "What happened? Who did this?" She asked Gongenzaka while Shun notices the unconscious bodies of Allen and Sayaka lying against the wall "Allen! Sayaka!" He yells out. "A-Amazoness…" Gongenzaka whispers. "What?!" Shun asked as it immediately catches his attention. "What's this? More of their friends are showing up?" Gloria comments, and Shun promptly puts himself in between his fallen comrades and the flight of stairs where Gloria and Grace were standing. "Are you the Tag Duellist who uses Amazoness Decks?" Shun observes. "Oh! Finally someone who knows about us!" Grace pleased. "Then he must be from the Resistance. Someone who must fled from us out of fear" Gloria comments. "Sh-"Shun begins to tell the Tyler sisters. "Shut up!" Yuzu beats him. "Back then, Shun and I were busy dealing with other things!" She states. "If we had been there, then we would have saved countless comrades being turned into cards!" Ruri, specking though Yuzu, declares. Shun narrows his eyes "What do you mean? Do you know these two, Ruri?" Yuzu asked. "No…But the Spade School's Resistance fought a pair of women who used an Amazoness Deck, and were nearly wiped out by them" Ruri replies. "It must be..." She comments. "If you had been there, you would have saved you comrades?" Gloria asked. "Quite an arrogant one, aren't we?" Grace tells them. Sayaka stirs "Yuzu..." She whispers.
"Yuzu! These two are the sworn enemies of Spade School!" Ruri declares. "I know. I can feel your sadness and hatred so much, it hurts...But if I give into this rage...That something unknown might come welling up from inside of us again!" Yuzu replies. She remembers their possession during the Duel against Barrett "I don't want to be taken over by something like that again...!" Yuzu states. "Yuzu! Please answer to Ruri's feelings this time" Shun asked. "Huh? You can tell?" Yuzu asked. "I've been with her longer than you. Ruri should feel the same as I do" Shun points out. "We can't let them go!" Ruri declares. "I know…" Yuzu replies. She lays Gongenzaka gently down "I can't forgive Academia either…If I let them go, they'll turn even more people into cards! But I'm going to go with the Duelling I believe in!" Yuzu states. "Are you fine with that?!" She asked Shun. Shun activates his Duel Disk "I don't mind. I will defeat them with my own Duelling" He replies. "That's it, if I face them with the Duelling I believe in without losing sight of myself...I won't have my soul taken over by anyone!" Yuzu thinks to herself. She activates her Duel Disk "Field Spell: Crossover" it declares, suffusing the area with blue and deploying the platforms, and scattering the Action Cards. "An Action Field?" Gloria observes. "These guys are Lancers too?" she realizes. She and Grace activate their Duel Disks "You're fine with a Tag Duel, then? Your Field, LP, and Graveyard are shared with your partner" Grace asked them. "Graveyard shared?! That would put Gongenzaka at a complete disadvantage!" Yuzu protest. "Oh? Is that so?" Grace intrigued. "But you're using those Action Cards, so that makes it even right?" She decides. "Then, why don't you show us your true strength then?" Gloria suggests. "I will avenge Gongenzaka!" Yuzu exclaims."DUEL!" all four Duellists declare.
"I'll start" Gloria declares. "When I control no monsters, I can activate the Continuous Spell: Quiet Life!" She states. "Under this card's effect, a player cannot Special Summon on the turn they conducted a Normal Summon" She explains. "And vice verse" Grace clarifies. "Huh?!" Yuzu gasped. "Now I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization, and I Fuse the Amazoness Queen and Amazoness Swords Woman in my hand!" Gloria declares. "Queen of the jungle, take into you the powers of the brave warrior…And form an empire that rules over all! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Amazoness Empress!" She chants (ATK: 2800). "I set one card and end my turn" Gloria said. Yuzu examines the "Quiet Life" card on her Duel Disk "So each turn, you have to choose between using Normal or Special Summoning?" Ruri mused. "Why would they force that?" She wonders. "If I have to choose one, then the answer is easy!" Yuzu replies.
"My turn!" Yuzu declares and draws, adding the Miracle Rocket Show that she drew to her hand containing Lyra the Melodious Diva, Pavane the Melodious Diva, Symphonia the Melodious Angel, Polyphony the Melodious Diva and Monster Reborn. "I, using the Scale 3 Lyra the Melodious Diva and the Scale 9 Pavane the Melodious Diva, set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu declares. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon monsters from Levels 4 to 8" She states. "Yuzu!" Gongenzaka whispers. "Sway, Pendulum of my Soul! Draw an arc of light across the aether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, in Defense Position! Symphonia the Melodious Angel! (DEF: 1500) And Polyphony the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu chants (DEF: 2400). "You're putting them in Defense Position to see what they'll do?" Ruri asked Yuzu. "Right now I need to play this carefully..." Yuzu replies. But Gloria smiles "Continuous Trap: Amazoness Hall!" She declares. "When an opponent Special Summon a monster, our LP is increase equal to their total ATK!" She explains. "What?!" Shun shocked. "Their total ATK?!" Yuzu repeats as the 1500 ATK of Symphonia and Polyphony was added to the Tyler sisters' LP (Gloria/Grace's LP: 5500). Allen feebly stirs "No..." Sayaka protests weakly. "We were ordered by the Professor himself to stop the Lancers" Gloria explains. "Of course we'd have counter-measures for Pendulum Summoning..." Grace tells Yuzu. "From the Professor himself?!" Yuzu shocked. "I see..." Shun muse. "Then that makes defeating you is worth even more!" he comments. "Keep talking like that while you can" Grace tell Shun. "Now then, hurry up and end your turn!" She urges Yuzu. "I set one card and end my turn" Yuzu said.
"Looks like I don't have to expect much from you" Grace comments. "My turn!" She declares and draws Polymerization. "I also activate the Spell Card: Polymerization, and I fuse Amazoness Tiger and Amazoness Spy in my hand!" Grace declares. "Fanged beast of the jungle, gain the eyes of a hunter and be reborn as a new ferocious beast! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Amazoness Pet Liger!" She chants (ATK: 2500). "Battle! I attack Polyphony with Amazoness Pet Liger!" Grace declares. "When this card attacks its ATK increase by 500!" She explains (Amazoness Pet Liger's ATK: 3000). "As long as I control Amazoness Empress, when an Amazoness monster attacks a monster in Defense Position, it gains piercing damage!" Gloria explains and Empress sends out pulses from her sword, causing Liger's remaining eye to glow red as it destroys Polyphony (Yuzu/Shun's LP: 3400). Yuzu looks back at Shingo and Gongenzaka "Wait a bit more...Gongenzaka!" She said. "After attacking, Liger's ATK now returns to normal" Grace explains (Amazoness Pet Liger's ATK: 2500). "But it's not over yet. Since we're sharing the same field Amazoness Empress is my monster as well!" She adds. "I attack Symphonia with Amazoness Empress!" She orders. "Take this! 1300 piercing damage!" Grace tells them. Empress destroyed Symphonia (Yuzu/Shun's LP: 2100). "Yuzu..." Sayaka whispers. "Shun!" Allen whisper. "You can't go get your favourite Action Cards because you're shielding your comrades?" Grace asked them. "I set two cards and end my turn" she declares.
"If you want to be entertained that much, then I'll take you on!" Shun warns the Tyler sisters.

Shun remembers finding the destroyed base of the Spade Branch "Alongside the spirits of my friends who you changed into cards!" He adds.

"Don't, Kurosaki! Follow your own Duelling!" Yuzu begs him. "We become stronger the more we're cornered!" Ruri declares. "Stop it! Ruri! Don't let your anger control you!" Yuzu begs her. "I'll show you how the Resistance stands up for itself!" Shun tells the Tyler sister. "My turn!" He declares and draws Raidraptor - Singing Lanius in addition to his other two copies of "Singing Lanius" in his hand and the Raidraptor - Iron Heart in his hand. "Using the already set Pendulum Scale, I will…Pendulum Summon! Come forth! Three Raidraptor - Singing Lanius!" Shun declares (ATK: 100x3). "At this moment, Amazoness Hall's effect increases our LP equal to the total ATK of Special Summoned monsters!" Gloria reminds them. The 300 ATK total of the "Singing Lanius" is added to the Tyler sisters' LP (Gloria/Grace's LP: 5800) Sayaka gasped "Their LP has gone up again!" Allen shocked. "Yu…zu…." Gongenzaka weakly chokes. "Kurosaki! You can't let your anger control you!" Yuzu urges him, but Shun ignores her "I Overlay my three Levels 4 Singing Lanius! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Raidraptor - Rise Falcon!" He declares (ATK: 100). "Again?" Grace surprised as Rise Falcon's 100 ATK was added to her and Gloria's LP by the effect of Amazoness Hall (Gloria/Grace's LP: 5900). "What do you think you can do bringing out such a low ATK monster?!" Gloria asked Shun.
"I equip the Equip Spell: Raidraptor - Iron Heart to Rise Falcon, and increase its ATK by 500!" Shun said (Rise Falcon's ATK: 600). "You're still only increasing it to 600!" Grace airily comments. "Rise Falcon's true evolution is just starting!" Ruri states. "Don't, Kurosaki! If you fight with anger...!" Yuzu tells him. "I use one of Rise Falcon's Overlay Units and activate its effect!" Shun declares. "It adds the total ATK of the enemies' Special Summon monsters to its own!" He explains. The Overlay Unit explodes in front of Empress and Liger and light rises from them "What?!" Gloria shocked. "Liger and Empress' ATK?" Grace asked. The light suffuses Rise Falcon in flames (Rise Falcon's ATK: 5900) "An ATK of 5900!" Allen exclaims "Go!" Ruri furiously encourages Shun. "Battle! Rise Falcon, attack Amazoness Pet Liger!" Shun declares. Rise Falcon swoops above the city "Brave Claw Revolution!" Shun yells out. "AS long as Amazoness Empress is face-up on the field, "Gloria explains "Amazoness monsters cannot be destroyed!" Grace explains and Empress leaps in front of Liger and generates a force field. "But you will take the damage!" Shun reminds the Tyler sisters and the shockwave blasts the Tyler sisters back several paces (Gloria/Grace's LP: 2500). "Shun's Rise Falcon can attack each one of their monsters once!" Ruri notes. "Go! Finish them, Shun!" She urges him. "I attack Amazoness Empress with Rise Falcon!" Shun declares "It won't work!" Gloria tells him. "AS long as we control Liger, it can negate any attack not targeting itself" Grace explains. Liger roars, an oversized image of its head appearing and forcing Rise Falcon back "No…!" Yuzu gasped. "Rise Falcon's ATK returns to normal" Shun admits (Rise Falcon's ATK: 600). "I set one card and end my turn" he said.
"To think you could push us this far, you're different from the rest if the Resistance. But too bad" Grace comments, much to Allen and Sayaka's annoyance. "All of your hard work will be for naught" Gloria comments. "What?!" Shun asked. "Continuous Trap Card Activate: Amazoness Hot Spring!" Grace declares. "Once per turn, we can restore LP equal to the damage from one battle" She explains as she poses refreshingly in front of the image of the card (Gloria/Grace's LP: 5900). Shun grits his teeth "The life we had shaved off came back!" Yuzu lament. "And one more…! Continuous Trap: Amazoness Magic Mirror!" Grace declares. "Once per turn, damage from one battle can be negated!" She explains. "What?!" Shun shocked. "You can negate battle damage!?" Yuzu shocked. "Now do you understand? That you can't win against us!" Grace comments. "It's about time we sent you to the rest of your comrades!" Gloria comments.
"My turn!" Gloria declares and draws. "Battle! I attack Rise Falcon with Amazoness Pet Liger!" She declares. "At this moment, Liger's ATK is increased by 500 due to its own effect!" She states (Amazoness Pet Liger's ATK: 3000). "I activate the Quick-Play Spell: Rank-Up-Magic Escape Force!" Shun declares. "I negate the battle and Xyz Summon a monster 1 Rank higher than the targeted Rise Falcon in Attack Position!" He explains. "Rank up: Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Raidraptor - Blaze Falcon!" He declares (ATK: 1000). "Did you forget about Amazoness Hall's effect?" Grace cheeckly asked Shun as the 1000 ATK of "Blaze Falcon" was added to the Tyler sisters' LP (Gloria/Grace's LP: 6900). "Destruction only awaits fools who refuse to learn! I attack Blaze Falcon with Amazoness Empress!" Gloria declares and Empress destroy Blaze Falcon. Yuzu, Shun, Gongenzaka and Shingo were all blown backwards. Shingo and Gongenzaka crash into a wall, while Yuzu crashed into poor Gongenzaka. Shun lands on his feet (Yuzu/Shun's LP: 300). "I activate the effect of Raidraptor - Iron Heart that was sent to the Graveyard with Rise Falcon!" Shun declares. "Using the just destroyed Blaze Falcon as Xyz Material, I Special Summon Rise Falcon from the Graveyard!" He explains (ATK: 100). The effect of Amazoness Hall increases the Tyler sisters' LP (Gloria/Grace's LP: 7000). "Again...? What can you possibly do with that now?" Gloria angrily asks. "They're really starting to annoy me" Grace comments. "Just give up already and become cards with the rest of your comrades" She tells them.
"Give up?!" We Resistance don't have a word like that. Until I avenge my comrades, take back my best friend, and crush Academia...I will never give up!" Shun declares. Allen gasped in shock "Shun!" Sayaka shocked. "That's right!" Yuzu agrees as she rises to her feet. "Until we take back hold of that victory...We will keep fighting!" Ruri declares. "Ruri..." Yuzu whispers as her body trembles. Gloria scoffs. "Even if you don't give up, it will be over on Grace's next turn" She states. "I end my turn here!" She declares.
"Let's go Yuzu! It's our turn!" Ruri encourages Yuzu. "Wait! Calm down Ruri!" Yuzu tells her. "I am calm!" Ruri grimly states. "No! You're letting you anger control you! I know you can't help it when you think about your friends that were turned into cards…" Yuzu admits. "But if you give into your anger…That unknown something will take over us!" She reminds Ruri. This time Ruri listened to Yuzu "Ruri and Kurosaki, leave this to me!" Yuzu asked them. "I will make sure to answer to your feelings!" She vows. Shun closed his eyes "Fine. I'll leave it to you, Yuzu" Ruri agrees. "Thank you, Ruri. Kurosaki..." Yuzu said. "My turn!" She declares and draws.
"It's here!" she celebrates her drawing of Symphony Draw. "I use the already set Pendulum Scale and...Pendulum Summon! Be reborn from my Extra Deck! Symphonia the Melodious Angel!" She declares (ATK: 500) "Enough already!" Gloria exclaims. "We keep telling you that Special Summoning will only increase our life!" Grace reminds Yuzu as the effect of Amazoness Hall increases the Tyler sisters' LP by the 500 ATK of Symphonia (Gloria/Grace's LP: 7500). "Next I activate the Spell Card: Symphony Draw!" Yuzu declares. "For each Special Summoned monster on the Field I get to draw one card from my Deck!" She explains as she draws three new cards. "I activate the Spell Card: Monster Reborn and Special Summon Raidraptor - Singing Lanius from the Graveyard!" Yuzu declares (ATK: 100). "Again..." Gloria annoyed (Gloria/Grace's LP: 7600). "Now I activate the Spell Card: Melody's Guidance!" Yuzu declares. "Now Singing Lanius will be treated as a Melodious monster until the end of the turn!" She explains. "Now I activate the Spell Card: Angel's Choir!" Yuzu declares. "When I have a Fairy-Type monster on the Field, I can Special Summon one more from my Deck in Defense position!"She explains. "Come out! Marimba the Melodious Diva! " She calls out (DEF: 2400). The 1250 ATK of Marimba was added to the Tyler sister's LP (Gloria/Grace's LP: 8350) "Now her effect activates!" She declares. "When Marimba is Special Summoned, I'm allowed to draw two cards from my Deck!" She explains. "And, when there are two or more Melodious Monsters on my field, I can Special Summon Requiems the Melodious Diva from my hand!" Yuzu states. (ATK: 1250)
The 1250 ATK of Requiems was also added Tyler sister's LP (Gloria/Grace's LP: 10100). "This isn't funny anymore..." Grace flatly tells Yuzu. "There LP is..." Allen gasped. "Over 10000...!" Sayaka gasped. "With it that high..." Gongenzaka states. Shingo had finally woken up "How are they going to take it down?" He wonders. "Now I activate the Spell Card: Draw Concert!" She declares. "Now for each "Melodious" monster I control, I get to draw one card!" She explains. "Next I activate another Spell Card: Melody Tuning!" Yuzu said. "Now all Level 4 Melodious" monster LVs decrease to 1" She explains (Symphonia, Singing Lanius, Marimba and Requiems' LV: 1x4). "Now, I activate the Spell Card: Overlay Harmony!" Yuzu declares. "Now when I use Melodious Monsters for a Xyz Summon, they can be treated as the same number of Continuous Spell and Traps on the field!" She explains. "I Overlay my Level 1 Symphonia, Singing Lanius, Marimba and Requiems!" Yuzu declares. "Birds with beautiful wings! Gather on the battlefield and take brilliant flight! Xyz Summon! Dance in the sky! Rank 1! Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale!" She chants (ATK: 0). "Assembled Nightingale's ATK is equal to the number of Overlay Units she has by 200!" Yuzu explains (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 3200). "If you have no intention of Duelling, the just surrender already! I'll turn you into a card first!" Gloria furiously tells Yuzu. "Let's not get too hasty!" Yuzu sheepishly tries to calm Gloria down. "How do you plan on taking out 10000 LP in this situation!?" Ruri asked her. "This should work…If you, Kurosaki and I combine our strengths!" Yuzu excitedly explains. "The three of us?" Ruri asked, catching Shun's attention. Yuzu looks at Smile World "And Yusho's…" Yuzu adds.
At the Academia Headquarter "Commander-in-Chief, what's wrong?" A Student asked the Commander-in-Chief. Edo's throne descends on a pillar "There a girl who is Yusho Sakaki's acquaintance is in this dimension! I have a long history with her, so I won't let anyone else handle it" he explains. "Investigate immediately" He request. "Yes sir!" the Students replies. Edo the looks around "I don't see Noro around anywhere..." He wonders. "Y-yes sir, Vice Commander Noro is currently out of off due to urgent business!" A student explains. "Urgent business?" Edo suspiciously asks and he narrows his eyes.
"Ladies and Gentlmen!" Yuzu calls out as Spotlight snaps on her. "Now then, it's finally time for the climax! Our opponents' LP is at a terrifying amount, over 10000!" She announces. "Please give me a round of applause after we wipe it out!" She asks her audience. "Wipe it out!?" Gloria incredulously asks "Have you forgotten about the effect of Amazoness Magic Mirror?" She asks Yuzu. "It negates battle damage!" Grace reminds her. "Of course I remember! But making the impossible possible is entertainment!" Yuzu replies and she bows. "First let's set the stage!" She suggests. "I activate the Continuous Spell Card: Miracle Rocket Show!" Yuzu declares. "What is this!?" Gloria asked. "How pretty!" Grace calls it as bubbles of stars appear and a starscape appears, much to Allen and Sayaka's shock. "Under this card's effect, my opponent's cards cannot be destroyed and battle damage they take will be 0!" Yuzu explains. Two rockets appear behind Yuzu and Shay "Huh?" Gloria and Grace gasped in shock. "Then how are you going to win?!" Allen asked Yuzu. "Just watch and enjoy!" Yuzu reassures him. "The key to making this show of the century is none other than this card, Smile World!" She declares as hold up the card.
"Where did Noro go!?" Edo angrily asks. "W-well I don't really…"the student that he's questioning tries to dodge the question. "We've detected a large Duel taking place right now!" another student explains. On the viewscreen, Noro was watching "Smile World increases the ATK of all monsters by 100 for each monster on the field this turn! Simply put, it increases them by 400!" Yuzu explains (whose colourful smiling shapes have been added to the starscape). (Liger's ATK: 2900, Empress' ATK: 3200, Rise Falcon's ATK: 500, Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 3600). Edo narrows his eyes "Smile World!" He furiously utters.
"It increases all of them?" Grace repeats. "Is she screwing around?!" Gloria wonders. "Of course not! This is an important step! Now that it's all ready…" Yuzu replies, she gestures to Shun and winks. "I use Rise Falcon's Overlay Unit and activate its effect!" Shun declares. "Its own ATK increases equal to the total of Liger and Empress' ATK!" He explains. Rise Falcon briefly flashes with fire as it absorbs light from Liger and Empress (Rise Falcon's ATK: 6600). "Ruri, you've figured it out already right?" Yuzu asks her. "Yeah! Let's go!" Ruri agrees. "I activate Sonora the Melodious Diva's monster effect!" Yuzu and Ruri declares. "By sending this from my hand to the Graveyard I can chose one Level 5 or higher monster my opponent controls and halve it ATK and added them to one of my own monsters!" She explains as as Assembled Nightingale unfolds its wings and blasts electricity from them, entrapping Liger (Liger's ATK: 1450) (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 5050). "Next, I active the Spell Card: Melody Return!" Yuzu said. "I'm allows to return a Melodious monster from my Graveyard to my hand! I return Sonata the Melodious Diva to my hand and send in to the Graveyard to activate its effect once more!" Yuzu and Ruri declare (Liger's ATK: 725) (Assembled Nightingale's ATK: 5775). "Shun and Ruri's monsters' ATK has gone up but…" Allen observes. "Even if you do that, your attack will be negated!" Gloria snaps.
Yuzu smiles "The fun has just begun!" She declares. The Rockets opened up "With our now 6600 ATK Rise Falcon and 5775 ATK Assembled Nightingale, will perform a dazzling attack!" Yuzu explains as both monsters enter a rocket ship. "Their target is the Amazoness Pet Liger whose ATK is now 775!" She declares and a target appears around its neck. "He we go! 3! 2! 1! Life off!" Yuzu calls out. Assembled Nightingale grins as its rocket blasts into the sky and the rockets fly through bubbles, releasing more bubbles and explosions of galaxies. "Amazing!" Sayaka said as she and Allen marvel at the spectacle. "This certainly is pretty…"Grace calls it as she and Gloria was also impressed. The rockets slam into Amazoness Pet Liger, throwing up an explosion of colourful stars and blinding Gloria and Grace. Rise Falcon and Assembled Nightingale hold up the unharmed Liger by the paws "Wow!" Grace exclaims. "But the damage is still 0!" Gloria reminds Yuzu. "And Miracle Rocket Show's final effect!" Yuzu declares. "At the end of the battle all the damage that was turned to 0 by its effect, so 11600 damage is dealt to our opponents!" She explains. Yellow light covers Rise Falcon and Assembled Nightingale, who spiral into the sky trailing yellow stars and release an explosion of yellow and blue light. "What?!" Gloria asked. "No Way!" Grace happily cries (Gloria/Grace's LP: 0). "They won! They really took out an opponent with that much LP!" Allen cries. "Yuzu!" Sayaka happily said and Gongenzaka and Shingo were both grinning. "Everyone! Did you enjoy the show?" Yuzu asked as Ruri stands beside her with a grin and even Shun cracks a smile. "This has been a Yusho Sakaki-inspired Entertainment Duel" She explains.
"Yusho Sakaki…!" Edo said in a rage when he hears that name. He rises from his throne "I'm heading out now! The entire squad at headquarters is to come with me!" Edo orders.
Gloria and Grace sit down in shock "This…This kind of Duelling…" Gloria whispers. "It was amazing…"Grace whispers. Mamoru slides up behind them "What the heck are you doing?!
