The Falcon Perishes on the Battlefield
In another area of Heartland, the Lancers, Sayaka and Allen were walking back to the Resistance's base, Gongenzaka was using a sick to help him walk and Shingo was being helped by Shun. "I'll admit your Entertainment Dueling is good, but, I still haven't decided whether you're our comrade or..." Allen said. Shun then puts his hand on Allen's shoulder "Just be honest, Allen. You should already have accepted it in your heart. That Yuzu Hiragi is our comrade" He tells him. Allen had a surprised look on his face when Shun tells him that "W-Well yeah I..." He mutters in embarrassment. "Allen" Yuzu said she holds her hand out. Allen looks the other way in anxiety while Sayaka smiles "Yeah!" Allen said as he take Yuzu's hand. Shun then grabs Sayaka's arm and puts her hand on top of Yuzu and Allen's, before put his on her. Sayaka looks at Shun with a surprised look on her face, and Shun smiles at her "Shun..." Sayaka whisper. Then Shingo and Gongenzaka put their hand on top of them as well. "Now we're all comrades" Yuzu states and everyone smiles.
"Are you finished saying your farewells?" A voice asked them, all then turn to see three Obelisk Force on a platform above them. "Then you should have no more regrets" The Red-Jeweled Obelisk state. "We'll have all of you become cards" The Green-Jeweled Obelisk states. "By the hands of us, the Obelisk Force!" The Yellow-Jeweled Obelisk states. Then the three Obelisk Force jumps down from the platfrom in front of Yuzu's group. "It's 3 verses 6! Just try it!" Allen said. "They aren't opponents you can handle. Stand down" Shun tells Allen. "We'll help you too!" Gongenzaka said. "You ready?" Shingo asked. "You're injured, don't force yourself" Yuzu tells them and Gongenzaka and Shingo gasped. "Kurosaki and I will handle this" She states.
"Just the two of you?" The Red-Jeweled Obelisk asked. "The two of us is plenty for the likes of you!" Shun states. "Talk all you want" The Red-Jeweled Obelisk said. "It doesn't matter how many of you there are. We'll wipe out the Lancers anyways!" The Green-Jeweled Obelisk said. Up on a platform above them, the Tyler Sister and Noro were watching them "He didn't call upon us, but the Obelisk Force too?" Gloria observes. "Slowpoke here is always quick to make backup plans like this" Grace observes. "My name is Mamoru Noro! It's not Slowpoke! And besides, I wasn't the one who called the Obelisk Force" Mamoru states. "It's possible that the Professor decided they were necessary" He guesses. "Did he think we would lose?!" Gloria wonders. "Well, that's what happened, isn't it?" Grace states. "What are you saying, Grace?! Aren't you frustrated?!" Gloria asked her. "Well, sure, but the Duel was fun so I don't mind" Grace replies. "More importantly, that girl, Yuzu…I wonder what kind of Entertainment Duel she'll show us facing off against the Obelisk Force" She wonders. "I'm looking forward to it!" She smiles.
"I don't expect your Entertainment to work on them, but…"Shun tells Yuzu. "Even then, I will still push forward with my Duelling! The Duelling that Yusho tried to accomplish!" Yuzu states. Shun smiles "Then Duel as your hearts desires. I will push forward with my own Duelling" He tells her. Yuzu activates her Duel Disk "Field Spell: Crossover" The Duel Disk announces, suffusing the area with blue and deploying the platforms, and scattering the Action Cards. The Obelisk Force got ready "DUEL!"All Duellists declares.
"I'll take the first turn!" Yellow states. "I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization from my hand, and fuse the two Ancient Gear Hunting Hounds in my hand!" He declares. "Mechanical hounds, who carry on the ancient spirits! Flock together and become one with a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 5! Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!" Yellow chants (ATK: 1400). "I end my turn here" He states.
"My turn!" Shun declares and draws. "I Summon Raidraptor Vanishing Lanius from my hand!" He states (ATK: 1300). "When this card is Normal or Special Summoned, I can Special Summon another Vanishing Lanius from my hand!" Shun explains (ATK: 1300). "Additionally I use the second's monster effect to Special Summon a third!" He states (ATK: 1300). "I Overlay my three Level 4 Vanishing Laniuses! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Raidraptor Rise Falcon!" Shun declares (ATK: 100). "Now I activate Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound's effect!" Yellow declares. "Once per turn, when my opponent Summon or Special Summons a monster, I can place a Gear Counter on it!" He explains (Rise Falcon's GC: 1). "I use one of Rise Falcon's Overlay Units and activate its effect! I add Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound's ATK of 1400 to its own!" Shun declares (Rise Falcon's ATK: 1500). "Battle! Rise Falcon!" He orders and Rise Falcon swoops in. "With Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound's effect any monster with a Gear Counter on it is destroyed before damage calculations!" Yellow explains and the Gear Counter on Rise Falcon self destruct and Rise Falcon was destroyed. "Quick-Play Spell: Rank-Up-Magic Raptor's Force!" Shun declarers. "I Special Summon the just destroyed Rise Falcon from my Graveyard, (ATK: 100) and using this as materials a Xyz Summon a monster one Rank higher!" he explains. "Rank up: Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Raidraptor Blaze Falcon!" Shun calls out (ATK: 1000).
"Blaze Falcon can attack my opponent directly!" He states. "Go!" He orders and Blaze Falcon sends out some Lighting and knocks Yellow on to ground (Yellow's LP: 3000). "At this moment I activate Blaze Falcon's effect!" Shun declares. "When I deal damage to my opponent I can destroy one monster they control!" He explain and Blaze Falcon launches its gas-powered missiles, destroying Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound. "I set one card and end my turn" Shun states. "There we go, Shun! He saw through everything they were going to do!" Allen exclaims. "Yeah, that was an impressive showing!" Gongenzaka agrees. "Obelisk Force aren't that much at all" Shingo states. "This isn't right...according to my calculations; they should have been defeated in 5 minutes!" Noro states. "It looks like we'll need to step in here..." Gloria said. "There's no hurry! Obelisk Force aren't going to be taken out that easily..." Grace states. "W-Well that is true, but-" Gloria said. "Let's just watch for now" Grace interrupts. "Now, show me...Another amazing show!" Grace thinks as she looks at Yuzu.
"My turn!" Red declares and draws. "I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization from my hand!" He states. "I Fuse the three Ancient Gear Hunting Hounds in my hand!" He declares. "Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!" He chants (ATK: 1800). "And I activate the Spell Card: Ancient Gear Double Imitation from my hand!" Red states. "This card allows me to Special Summon two "Ancient Gear" monsters from my Graveyard with their effects negated! The cards I will call back are…" He explains. "The Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound and Ancient Gear Hunting Hound in my Graveyard!" Yellow states (ATK: 1000, ATK: 1400). "I attack you directly with these three monster" Red points at Yuzu. "Oh Yuzu?!" Shun shocked, Yuzu then starts to run. "Yuzu hasn't even had a turn yet!" Sayaka gasped. "That's fighting dirty!" Allen yells. "And the total ATK of the three of them is 4200!" Shingo points out. "Without any monsters, Yuzu's only way to stop it is..." Gongenzaka states.
"First up is Ancient Gear Hunting Hound! Get her" Red declares and Ancient Gear Hunting Hound rushes towards Yuzu and Yuzu continues to run. Ancient Gear Hunting Hound fires a beam at Yuzu, Yuzu ducks down and the beam hits and made an explosion. Shingo, Gongenzaka, Allen and Sayaka gasped as the smoke rises. When the smoke clears Yuzu was gone "Y-Yuzu!" Gongenzaka yells out. "I'm over here!" Yuzu calls out as she stands on one of the runes. "Yuzu!" Shun smiles. "Wha-!?" The Obelisks Force gasped, and everyone else signed in relief. "I activated the Action Spell: Big Escape! With this, the Battle Phase is over!" Yuzu explains. "Big Escape!" Allen and Sayaka repeats. "Hey that's the Action Card I used in my big Entertainment match!" Shingo states. "See! I knew she was going to show us more!" Grace smiles. "You shouldn't be happy about it!" Gloria tells Grace. "I thought one of them was going to be taken out for sure this time. Were my calculations off again!?" Mamoru annoyed. "I end my turn here" Red said.
Yuzu jumps down from one platform to the next and lands back onto the ground. "Yuzu. Even if they may be the Obelisk Force, you have the ability to talk to their hearts now!" Ruri tells Yuzu. "Ruri…"Yuzu whispers. Ruri smiles at Yuzu and Yuzu smiled back. "I'll watch over your fight!" Ruri said. "All right! I'll show you some of my greatest Entertainment Duelling!" Yuzu states. "My turn!" She declares and draws. "I, using the 1 Arial the Melodious Diva and Scale 9 Dulcet the Melodious Diva, Set the Pendulum Scale!" Yuzu said. "With this, I'm able to simultaneously Summon monsters from Levels 2 to 8" She stares. "Sway, Pendulum of my Soul! Draw the arc of light across the aether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters! First is Saron the Melodious Diva! (ATK: 1600) Next is Cynthia the Melodious Diva! (ATK: 1800) And the final one to take the stage is, Awaken the sleeping virtuoso... Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" Yuzu chants (ATK: 2600). "Next I activate the Spell Card: Draw Concert!" Yuzu said. "With this card's effect, I get to draw one card from my deck for each "Melodious" monsters I control" She explains "The fun has just begun!" She states.
"Now, show me the greatest Duel!" Grace said. "First off, I'm going to pay you back for earlier!" Yuzu said. "I attack Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound with Cynthia the Melodious Diva!" She declares. "At this monument I activate Cynthia's effect, and the ATK of all Level 4 and lower "Melodious" monsters, are increase by 300 until the Battle Phase ends!" Yuzu states (Cynthia's ATK: 2100, Saron's ATK: 1900). Cynthia attacks and destroys Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound (Red's LP: 3700). "Following that, I attack Ancient Gear Hunting Hound with Saron the Melodious Diva!" Yuzu declares and Saron attacks and destroys Ancient Gear Hunting Hound (Red's LP: 2800). "Finally, I attack Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound with Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra! Graceful Wave!" Yuzu declares. "Quick-Play Spell: Melody Sharp!" She said. "With this card's effect, Mozarta's ATK increase by 1000 until the end of this turn!" Yuzu explains (Mozarta's ATK: 3600). Mozarta and destroys Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound. The Red-Jewel Obelisk was basted backwards (Red's LP: 600) Allen and Sayaka gasped in amazement "Nice!" Shingo said. "She landed it!" Allen exclaims. "She Summoned three Pendulum Monsters and cleared out her opponents' field with a triple attack! Prefect!" Gongenzaka said. "Yuzu..." Sayaka said. "With this, I end my turn" Yuzu states (Mozarta's ATK: 2600). "Huh? It's over with that?" Grace disappointed.
"To think a Lancer would disappoint not only the Tyler Sister, but us Obelisk Force as well...I was wondering what kind of Duelling you would show us, but...I never expected it to be the naive!" Green observes. "Naive?" Yuzu asked. "Yes! And incredibly so! If you had directly attacked me with the three monsters you Summoned, you could have taken down one of your opponents" Green states. "Then I'd just be doing the same thing you all tried to! I don't want to just end this Duel! I want to talk through my Duelling!" Yuzu states. "Talk?" Green asked. "Yes! Duelling can open up anyone's heart and talk to it! I'm sure even yours too!" Yuzu said. "Our mission is the eradication of all Lancers! We have no time to carelessly talk with you!" Green states. "That's right. This Duel has already gone on 5 minutes and 32 seconds longer than my predictions! There is no time to waste!" Noro states. "Go on, it's your turn!" Yuzu tells the Green- Jewelled Obelisk.
"I don't need you to tell me!" Green states as he draws. "I Summon Ancient Gear Hunting Hound from my hand!" He said (ATK: 1000). "When my opponent controls a monster, this card can deal 600 damage to them once per turn!" Green explains. "Hound Flame!" He declares and Hunting Hound let out a breath of fire. "I activate the Counter-Trap: Raidraptor - Silent Roar!" Shun declares. "When I control a "Raidraptor" monster, I can negate effect damage from my opponent!" He explains. A barrier surrounds Yuzu and protected her from the flame. "Thank you, Kurosaki!" Yuzu said and Shun smiles. "Then, I will activate the Spell Card:Ancient Gear Scrap Fusion!" Green declares. "I can Fusion Summon a monster with its effects negated using "Ancient Gear" monsters in my Graveyard! The ones I will select are…" He explains. "The Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound in my Graveyard," Red said. "And the Ancient Gear Hunting Hound in mine" Yellow said. "With the three of these, I…Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 9! Ultimate Ancient Gear Hunting Hound!" Green declares (ATK: 2800). "Next, I activate the Spell Card: Ancient Gear Double Imitation," Green said. "And Summon the Double Ancient Gear Hunting Hound," Yellow states. "And my Triple Ancient Gear Hunting Hound…" Red states. "With their effect negated!" Green states (ATK: 1400, 1800).
"Now I activate Ancient Gear Hunting Hound's effect!" Green declares. "When I control an "Ancient Gear" monster I can perform a Fusion Summon without a Fusion card!" he states. "Mechanical hounds who carry on the ancient spirits! Join you ten heads and become an absolute power of chaos! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Deity of destruction, return this world to formless chaos! Chaos Ancient Gear Giant!" Green chants (ATK: 4500). "I-It's huge! Too huge" Gongenzaka exclaims. Sayaka looked at it in fear.

People were screaming in terror as Chaos Ancient Gear Giant destroyed Heartland.

Chaos Ancient Gear Giant lifts its arms up and destroyed the two building behind it. "No!" Sayaka screams and runs away in terror. Allen and Shun gasped as they saw her run. Sayaka kept running until she was stopped by the some debris "Sayaka!" Shun yells as he rushes over to her. Yuzu gasped as she saw the building coming down on Sayaka as Shun runs in. "Shun!" Allen yells out. Everyone runs to where Shun and Sayaka were. "They brought that out!? Are they trying to put us in danger as well!?" Gloria exclaims. Yellow chuckles at the destruction. "Shun…" Ruri whispers. In the smoke there was a figure carry someone walking towards them, as the smoke clear it was relives to be Shun carrying Sayaka. "Shun! Sayaka!" Allen exclaims. "I'm glad you're okay…" Shun smiles. "Shun…" Sayaka smiles. Shun puts Sayaka on the ground, but then collapses, and his Duel Disk deactivated. "Shun!" Yuzu and Ruri gasped. Sayaka knees down as Shingo and Gongenzaka rushes to Shun's side. "Shun!" Sayaka exclaim as she shakes him. Sayaka gasped as she saw the Shun wasn't moving. "It can't be…" Yuzu gasped and she runs toward him.
"Battle!" Green declares. Yuzu gasped in shock as she turns around. "I attack Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra with Chaos Ancient Gear Giant!" Green declares and Chaos Ancient Gear Giant fires a beam at Mozarta and destroys it (Yuzu's LP: 2100). Yuzu was blasted back from the shockwave. "Chaos Ancient Gear Giant can attack all the monsters my opponent controls during the Battle Phase!" Green states. "Next, I attack Cynthia!" He declares and Chaos Ancient Gear Giant attacks and destroyed Cynthia. "I send Benio the Melodious Diva from my hand to the Graveyard and reduce the damage from this battle to 0!" Yuzu exclaims. A Bubble appeared and protected everyone from the falling debris. "Don't think you're safe yet!" Yellow states. "You have a mere 2100 LP left. Once my 4500 ATK Chaos Giant destroys your 1600 ATK Saron," Red notes. "It will be over!" Green states. "Get her! Chaos Ancient Gear Giant! Attack Saron the Melodious Diva!" he orders. Yuzu then starts to run to get an Action Card, but shockwaves from Chaos Giant cause it to fall out of reach.
But then Kaito appears and catches the Action Card. "I activate the Action Spell: Quick Guard!" Kaito declares. "I change Saron to Defense Position!" He explains (Saron's DEF: 600). Chaos Giant attacks and destroys Saron. "Even if Saron is destroyed, she won't take any damage" Kaito notes. "Intrusion Penalty: 2000 LP" Kaito's Duel Disk declares (Kaito's LP: 2000). "Kaito!" Yuzu exclaims. Sayaka and Allen gasped, while Gongenzaka and Shingo smiles at Kaito's appearances. "He's the wanted man, Kaito?" Gloira wonders. "He's working with the Lancers!" Noro exclaims. "Unnecessary interference…!" Green mutters. "I end my turn here!" He declares.
"Leave this to me!" Kaito tells everyone. "My turn!" He declares and draws. "I Summon Cipher Wing!" Kaito said (ATK: 1400). "You're helping us, Kaito?" Yuzu asked. "You go and take care of your comrades!" Kaito tell Yuzu. Yuzu nods and run to her friends. "When I Control a Cipher Wing, I can Special Summon another Cipher Wing!" Kaito states as he jumps down and Summons two more Cipher Wings (ATK: 1400x2). "I Release one of my Cipher Wings and increase the Levels of the other two by 4!" He declares as the third Cipher Wing disappears (Cipher Wing's LV: 8X2). "Then I Overlay my now two Level 8 Cipher Wings!" Kaito said. Yuzu got to the others and Sayaka stands up "Galaxy shining in the darkness, embody the demon of revenge and become my very servant! Xyz Summon! Descend! Rank 8! Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon!" Kaito chants (ATK: 3000). "I use one of Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's Overlay Units and activate its effect! Cipher Projection!" Kaito states and Galaxy Eyes absorbed an Overlay Unit and Light streams from the wings of Galaxy-Eyes. "Until the End Phase, I gain control of Chaos Giant and treated as another Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon!" Kaito explains. Light takes the form of Galaxy-Eyes and covers Chaos Giant. "Chaos Giant was-!" Green gasped. The Chao Giant (Now treated as Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon) disappears and reappears on Kaito's side (ATK: 3000).
"Then, I activate two Continuous Spells from my hand, Cipher Interference and Cipher Diffusion!" KAito declares. "Cipher Diffusion allows me to change the ATK of a "Cipher" monster with an ATK greater than 3000 to 0, and in turn, I give a different "Cipher" monster the ability to attack three times!" Kaito explains the effects of Cipher Diffusion. "I make my second Cipher Dragon's ATK 0 and directly attack with my first Cipher Dragon!" he states (Cipher Dragon 2's ATK: 0). Yellow and Red gasped in shocked "Y-you may defeat the other two, but I still have 4000 LP left! With a 3000 ATK monster-!" Green exclaims. "Continuous Spell: Cipher Interference doubles the ATK of a "Cipher" monster during battle when I control two of the same "Cipher" monsters!" Kaito explains. "Doubles?! 6000?!" Green shocked. "Are you prepare to repent?!" Kaito asked the Obelisk Force and the Obelisk Force got scared. "Go! Battle! Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon, attack the three Obelisk Force members! Cipher Stream of Eradication!" Kaito declares (Cipher Dragon 1's ATK: 6000). Cipher Dragon attacks the three Obelisk Force members and blasted them backwards (Red, Green and Yellow's LP: 0). The Action Field dissipate and the Tyler Sister and Noro were speechless.
Kaito walks toward the falling Obelisk Force members and he got ready to activate the Card Sealing function on his Duel Disk, the Red Obelisk then looks at Kaito and Kaito looks at him, he then lower his Duel Disk and walks away from them. "W-wait!" Mamoru yells and Kaito turn to him and the Tyler Sisters. Mamoru gasped as Kaito stares at them, Kaito then walks away. "It looks like we'll be needed again" Gloria states. "Kurosaki! Answer me!" Yuzu shouts. "Kaito looks pretty fun, but...First I want my revenge on Yuzu!" Grace states. Then some Academia Students appeared and block the street. "W-What is going on!?" Mamoru asked. "No one interfere! I will kill Yusho Sakaki's acquaintance!" Edo declares.
