Warnings: From this chapter and the next 4 they show the results of the Hathor aftermath and leading into the Tollan Aftermath as once again. Daniel showed them up at the time, before they dug the beta gate up and the Ancient base. As the network added a third department as Daniel joined Landry's command then, before they started recruiting military and civilians for both departments.
And the new department, before it returns to the trio and their training mission. Starting with the arrival on planet number one and one by one, the trio are working out the situation for '4' days as the 'mission' starts. Though the trio spend four days on each planet, the only days being shown here. Are the first day and last day between planets now as they go from planet to planet.
Chapter 36: Enigma Truths And SGA Activation
"Done George, you two, Sam and Teal'C, you get Sergeant Harriman involved in this, and all officers that are there are ordered to use blanks. And allow Lya to take the guns, before Daniel goes with her and Omac, understand." he said and Hammond nodded. "George, ask Omac to come to your office so you can stage act this, as the duo and Maybourne are plotting it." Clinton said and they nodded firmly.
"Last month during Teal'C's cor'ai, that just made it worse for Johnny at the moment, but in droid form or human form. His dangerous his attitude is enough reason to arrest him and until he calms down at the moment." he said and Daniel nodded. "He stabs himself in the arm that's enough to do it anyway, but he hits the scar that was from Desert Storm and he's done at the moment now."
"But either I quit, we do it this way, or..., General, is there another back up General that you had in mind for the base?" he asked and they heard a smile as he answered him. "Yes Danny, it's General Hank Landry." he said and Daniel froze up at that. "You got to be kidding here, General Addison, your first name wouldn't be Jerome would it?" he asked and they heard a chuckle as he answered him gently.
"Yeah son it is, it's me, remember, there were four members of the Air Force connected to your parents. And all five of us were on Father Bowdern's championship team, I was Mel's boss?" he said and Daniel covered his eyes. "Good to hear your voice, Uncle Jerry." he said in response and Hammond chuckled as he heard him answer that with a smile in his tone then gently as he said it to him.
"You too son, but if there is anyway I can get these guys to back off it's setting a back up program and getting Dr. Langford and Dr. Littlefield involved. So I'm coming to the base, before Maybourne tries it at the moment, regarding you. And telling him that the joint chiefs and the president gave the go ahead for you to leave and you're re-assigned to Hank Landry for the duration, kiddo."
"But this 'all in, or not at all', is out." he said and they nodded. "Great that's just the catch I need to get him out of being hold hostage Jerry. You re-assigned him to Hank at the moment. But with that, he's not resigning from the program, but with you as a five star, that works. As Daniel goes to my back up General who is the future leader of the base now." he said and he heard a chuckle to that remark.
"Got it, play act the rest of the sting operation for Maybourne, the story may focus on both him and Sam Carter, but Daniel is getting us a salvage operation. Lose one/win one is the catch here and with that, Daniel got us the prototype back, we just make it clear that their jealousy knows no bounds. We're going to continue testing them, until they cross the line." he said and they nodded to that.
"Alright baby, you, Jared, Louis, Sam and Daniel, you're our version of the tv show team, the original quintet, best of the best, so with that. You're all military born, and your parents are all scholars, scientists and medical doctors. All the children of Generals if your father was alive son, so you know what to do. Test them and do it carefully here, once George makes that claim now to you."
"There will be hell to pay once back here in D.C., I'm answering that remark, as Dillon, Peter, Jacob and I get there. And we're telling him that the president gave you orders to go with them. After you been re-assigned to Hank Landry for the duration and nothing he says here. Nothing is going to change our minds, so that cuts it out." Matheson said and the quintet nodded smiling at his idea then gently.
"Great idea dad, that is really going to roast their tempers in hoping he gets thrown out of the base, you gave him re-assignment to the SGA. And for the duration here, so with you on the base, you can get them to back off. See you in two days guys, Sir." she said and they heard a smile to his tone. "You too baby, see you in two days and son be careful." he said and Daniel nodded to him then gently.
"I will Uncle Darrel, you have my word, see you guys soon." he said and they ended the call at that. "We better get to base, and call Omac into your office Uncle George, so, we can play act this, and before we run the test on Jack's alter ego. As that's what Johnny really is his alter ego, everything he wants, I already have, so psychosis now." he said and Hammond nodded in agreement to that sternly.
As it returned to the base then as Sam lead Omac into his office. "What can I do for you, General?" Omac asked and he smiled. "I believe Daniel mentioned a way to get you with the Nox earlier, Omac. I spoke to my bosses, they over turned Maybourne's decision and to take you with him. But Daniel's coming with you halfway through the exodus, we know we messed up in your testing us."
"So can we get a re-test in that testing?" he asked and Omac nodded to him gently. "Yes, but like the Nox and the Asgard we're the same way, we despise violence, and O'neill's twin blew the first impression by dragging weapons along. You have any shows that have another version of me saying that to you?" he asked and Sam nodded. "Just one, a very powerful alien." she said and he nodded to her.
"Show me." he said and she nodded and turned on the TV set, seeing his alien double he nodded. "If you re-worded that in more gentle tone and that just maybe..." he started to say as he checked his device and nodded. "I just saw the future for my people, that's me in 357 years." he said and they nodded in shock. "Slightly more arrogant as the power went right to his head, but that's me alright, Samantha."
"In time after the system lords attacked my new planet, we went into hiding as the years went by we grew wiser and stronger, changed our name. And became something else entirely, we became the Q, Q himself is me. But the group I meant when I said that to Picard is really that network branch name. That you told Narim, Surita plays on my mind, until you are at the right stage now."
"It's risk, but why need that when the technology is already at your disposal, my connections to the races against the Goa'uld helps. Not our technology, you just need our help, to become like your future counterparts now." he said and they nodded as that did it for them as Hammond answered him gently. "We accept Omac, but first, we need your help to get him off the planet, if he told you this."
"We're testing the trio in this psychosis, but Lya is just like you, good impression, to her, our race, specifically their soldier type. They haven't learned anything, but we have now, we passed your test. As Daniel gets re-assigned to my fellow General who leads the base in later years. But he's going with you to search out a technologe salvage." he said and Omac nodded, smiling at him at that.
"Indeed that works better then this, but there are a few planets that we know of with that type of technology, Hetara is a big one. But the planet is inhabitated by a race of cats the size of your own cats, the wild ones." he said and they nodded as Daniel answered him. "How big exactly?" he asked and he explained that to him as the quintet looked down at Denali III and he gave a growling purr to that gently.
"The youngest no bigger then your cat Samantha, the adults are the size of the biggest of your wild cats, but they are covered in black fur. So if you have a name for a black cat that size, that is what they look like. Slow aging and the leader of one of the pack is going to know you're a cat person. From the second he sees you, Doctor, Captain." Omac said and they both nodded to the news gently.
"They don't have their memories and Maybourne thinks I am just a civilian, as does Makepeace and John. Omac, thirty-two years friendship since you started training us, we all remember this, so we just have to fake this for them. But I'm coming with you, as we just set the trap and they give themselves away. And as they blurt the words out, said words, I'm going to sell us out to the Apophis."
"Or some other renegade, but here's a question for you, how can I, as when in the field, I have my own unit coming with me at the moment?" he said and Omac nodded with a chuckle as he answered him. "You can't because your jumper is loaded with supplies of all kinds at the moment, and secondly you're not alone. Jack now, he left you with a 13 year younger version of himself right now."
"And for now you're safely with us until the 5 of you head on your mission right now. Just add Evan Lorne, Gary Sanderson and Steven Raynor and you got a total of 14. But a years worth of suppliws in the field, till you report back. But Steven like you is the same way at the moment, I knew this from the second. We started training you from your cub years at the time young man as such."
"When we created you rations creator, your full diet turned into the best food variations each member of the teams liked when off duty and here at the base. So as as result someone, in you children, as I'm the same age as George and Jacob and your parents, you three, you guys start losing weight. Drs. Keller and Frasier are taking turns to ensure you're getting the best diet possible."
"As you recover from being on your own when in the field, but with that in mind, you better take this. As this camouflages your real uniform for the fatigues they wear at the SGC at the moment. So 3 planet search and then head for Hetara, if you forgot your knowledge in cuneiform. You got some studying to do, that's Hetara's root language." he said and Hammond chuckled at that remark.
"Then whatever Hetara script sounds and looks like I got work to do later, but we're play acting this until we get you off the planet."Daniel said and they nodded in agreement to that. That night the duo went to rehearsing this to put on the act for Maybourne, John and Makepeace. "Jack for the time being till Pyrus, you're my second in command here, but starting after his double arrives at the moment."
"You and Frank, pretend to put Johnny in charge of SG-1, But Danny is leading the team at the moment, until Pyrus, afterwards, Jack. You take back control and we take it from there as a result now, but starting from Jolinar. Leading into Pyrus, Daniel has control of the team here and we let your double. Now take control, so Harlan to Pyrus is you're here as he continues screwing up."
"You're going back to control of the team once Daniel shows up NID and the back to back missions come to an end. Six months, we set the trap, as we watch them and they don't realize that their next reply. And to our decision to sending him out, supposedly alone, seals our confirmation. That they're still convinced he turned on us, and when they're the ones that committed treason right now."
"But the first to go is Mckenzie, Johnny, our version is dead and his double replaced him, and then we arrest Makepeace next. So the first to go are Makepeace and Maybourne, West and Vidrine are arrested. Let alone Bauer, are court martialed for the attack on Yu's farm, the one Sam and Daniel were on. Maybourne is on the loose until we arrest Simmons and his unit next after that."
"And the last three to go are Maybourne, Johnny's double and Kinsey now, but six years field work as we know what's coming. As Daniel's active as a full bird colonel until Senichi, and then he retires from the field now." Hammond said and Jack nodded to his decision. "Alright this was after our conversation that day, that we met up top as I heard the smirk in John's tone at the fact that Daniel was a civilian."
"So this meant to him, he could be fired at the time, and unknown to them, Daniel had his bags packed and was leaving with Lya and the Tollan." he said and they chuckled at his planning then. "Well that helps right now, you already signed his release and the Nox gate was buried already. So O'neill, Makepeace and Maybourne can't come after him as a result, so this should be good right now." Picard said smiling at that news then sternly.
Just as he finished saying that the phone went off and he quickly activated the monitor behind him. "This is Hammond, go ahead." he said and an image of six ambassadors appeared in the image then. "George, the IOA is now activated completely, so is the SGA, so as of now, Daniel's orders come from us. He's ordered to search out a new planet for technology once you release the Tollan, IOA's orders."
"But his unit, Captain Evan Lorne, Lieutenant Gary Sanderson and Dr. Steven Raynor are coming with him and his unit. As soon as he finds a viable replacement salvage, he's reporting back and Jack, Sam, and Teal'C. As well their unit to Abydos is going with them, but wait till Maybourne gets the news. And then drop the act, Denali is the Jackpot, so give it 1 month now for this."
"And then you send the 10 to Hetara, okay." Ambassador Eleazer Charlotti ordered and Hammond nodded to him smiling."Uncle Eleazar, hey good to see you." Daniel said and they saw a look of love in his eyes at him. "I take it the Israelian Ambassador loved him like a son?" Picard asked and he nodded to him gently as he said it then."You too son and don't worry we got this under control, but this is the first test."
"The intention here is we got to get them to say the words to condemn themselves, and then once done, we reveal you're not going alone. So IOA and presidential orders, you got the full authority of both us and the president now. They just got the president so your department, Danny is now the most powerful department on the planet, as of now, you got the authority to assist."
"Assist agencies like the ATF, you also got the authority to give Hamners classified information and we're creating a copy of Armin Selig. So we can show these guys will go to any lengths to prevent things here now finally. In the private sectors from getting out, but until then it's these next 6 to 7 months. So you just keep showing them up." he said and Daniel nodded as they ended it at that.
As they watched Hammond go up top to meet up with Jack's twin and the trio and said it gently to them. "Alright Major, you want to tell me why I'm up here?" he asked and John nodded. "Because Maybourne isn't, Sir." he said and Sam nodded. "Sir we wanted to talk about what we could do to keep Maybourne from taking the Tollan." she said and and Teal'C finished that gently as he looked at him then gently.
"General, we must insure the Tollans escape." he said and Hammond said it gently. "I can't let you do that, we'd all be court martield." he said and John answered. "General I'm about a hair away from not caring, however, Daniel..." he said trailing and Daniel said it then. "I can't be court martialed." he said and Hammond loked at John, who raised his eyes brows gently as they heard a voice over at that.
"I know what you're doing young man, but it's too late, we got the trap rigged and set right now, so just you wait." Hammond said, voicing his thoughts out loud at that with a stern tone in his voice for the crew's benefit. As it jumped forward 6 hours as Omac was pacing back and forth firmly as he said it. "The one you call Maybourne was here, questioning my people, wanting us to take some kind of tests."
"And you expect me to trust you." he said and Daniel said it gently. "Please, Maybourne is from another division of our government. And my group is trying to protect you from him." he said and Omac nodded. "Well you're not doing a very good job." he said and Daniel sighed as he said it truthfully. "No I guess not."he said and Omac said it gently to that as he looked at him then as he said it to that.
"Do you have a new place for us to go to?" he asked and Daniel sighed. "Well..., no." he said and Omac nodded as he answered him. "Then we have nothing else to say." he said and Daniel blurted it out as he turned away from him. "Well okay, I know a perfect place you could go, I just don't know how to get you there." he said quickly to him at that and Omac and Narim turned to him at that.
"Then why do you speak of it." Narim said and Daniel sighed. "Because I was hoping you had the technology to get there." he said and Omac nodded. "Is this just another trick to get our technology?" he asked and Daniel moved to him. "This was a good way to give the news to him." Guinan said and Hammond nodded. "No it's not, listen to me, there was a group people just as advanced as you are."
"Maybe even more advanced, they were called the Nox." he said and Omac exchanged looks with Narim. "More like beyond advanced, as they are one of the races against the system lords and like the Q continuum. They despise the acts of threat and force, we, being Major O'neill, failed our first test. So we got a second chance to get it right." Hammond said smiling and the two near 18 year olds swallowed hard at that.
"If you went there, why can't we?" he asked and Daniel sighed. "After attempting to arrest Apophis, Daniel said they should seal the gate." Jacob said to that question gently. "Because they think about us, in the same way you do, calling us very young, which is a hair more polite then calling us primitive, but same idea, I guess. Anyway they sealed their stargate and I don't know how to communicate."
"With them, to get it open." he said and Omac nodded to him. "Do you know where the planet is?" he asked and Daniel nodded. "Yes I have the coordinates right here." he said and Omac nodded."Then we must go back up the mountain top."he said and Daniel sighed at that. "Really uh I can't, I can't, I can't get you out of here." he said and Omac said it gently to him at they nodded gently at that remark.
"That is not a problem." he said as Narim looked at him concerned at that remark."Give me your hand." he said and Daniel and Narim looked at him in shock."What?" he said and he went over it. "Do you wish to come or not." he said and Daniel nodded and took his hand as he activated a control on his device. And the wall turned into a nanowall as Daniel looked at the wall, and the sextet of admirals chuckled.
Just before Omac pulled him through at that gently. "Every scientist has this reaction, as first it was the gate now this when you go through it for a first time. But the Tollan never used their equipment all that time that my version of the SGC was growing up. So as a result the wonders of the gate lost their allure, but technology from the sextet. Not so much at the moment." Hammond said and the Next Generation admirals nodded, smiling.
Once on the mountain top, Daniel and Omac are walking through the woofs then, and Omac stopped and looked up at the stars."The coordinates." he said and Daniel gave them to him, before Omac read them, nodded and removed a device from his shoulder. And set it on the ground then, as Daniel crouched down next to him and as he dialed in the coordinates to the device and pressed a button as a light shot out of it then.
And went flying into the sky, before they saw a gentle flash then. "Listen I'm no astronomer, but won't that take thousands of years to reach the Nox world." he said and Omac said it gentl at that. "Why would it?" he asked and Daniel answered him gently. "Well that's just a laser, right?, I mean light takes a long time to travel that far." he said Omac smiled gently at thwt as he answered him at that remark.
"The distance between two points, seems far." he said as he bent the branch to create a circle. "Until you do this." he said as he touched the two sides together. "Okay, okay, I remember this from College physics, a scientist named Einstein explained this the very same way, you are talking about actually folding space." he said amd Omac sighed as he answered him at the remark then gently at that.
"You do not understand." he said and Daniel nodded, sighing. "No I guess not, but time and patience and I will." he said and Omac smiled gently. "Yes, given time and patience and you will, you have much to see and much to experience. But do not hurry the knowledge that you seek, as that knowledge takes it's own time right now." he said as he rested his hand on his shoulder as they looked at the stars then.
"I know those weapons were training weapons that you and Teal'C were carrying with you, and Sam and Jack with you, they were holstered. You and George passed our test, but Jack's twin failed the test at the moment. But violence is never the answer, you were taught to preserve life, not take it. But the duo are very close to being exposed, but as long as NID controls things."
"And as long as Makepeace and Jack's twin, Mckenzie and others, continues to hold onto this psychosis on you. Then we will continue to see your full soldiers as primitive, or very young, in Lya's words. You have learned so much, but still the very beginning of your journey, but tonight. It marks the beginning of a new life for you, the SGA is ready to be opened." he added and Daniel nodded, smiling.
"Q loved Daniel like a son, he earned his trust, as they spent that entire three hours on the mountain talking at the time." Landry said smiling as he watched them together. "There's a side of him I never seen before, so this was before the power went right to his head at the time." Will said and he nodded to him as the crew exchanged smiles at this. "Alright let's keep it going, so let's hit it when you dropped the act now here, Admirals."
"Before you revealed the civilian and military members of every country in the program were preparing to assemble and get into the stargate program. As the base was now open for business as we got the SGA up and running now finally." Beverly said and he nodded smiling as he did that. "Now I'll need at least one unit of escorts in the rear transport."he said, before there was a knock at the door and Hammond said it quickly.
"Come!" he said and Clear Rivers came in. "General Hammond, Sir, the refugees..., they disappeared." he said and Maybourne looked at her in shock."What do you mean disappeared." he said and she said it gently. "I mean like poof! Sir, they went through the walls." she said and he nodded. "I thought I said to post guards in the room to prevent that from happening again." he said and she nodded to him.
"I take it she was finding this funny right now that their disappearing acts were beginning to annoy him and the NID members on the base at the time?" Bates said as he tried to keep from laughing at this and he nodded smiling. "Yes and so were my SG-1, Lou, Charlie, Daniel's unit, that's your Johnny's team and the trio. They were all finding this funny right now and as we tried to keep from laughing at this situation at the time."
"That this was like trying to catch a bird hiding in the system as you got repeated decoys and the alarm going off or the cat was in the tubes. Or, if Wesley decides to do this by playing games with whoever hijacks the ship next, Jean Luc. And it's by repeated false alarms in your quarters at the moment, as your targets are playing games with you right now." He said as they heard the base alarm go off within five minutes of her saying it.
"We were in the room Sir, I stood in their path myself." she said and he nodded. "And?" he asked and she explained it to him. "They went right through me, Sir." she said and Hammond looked at her amazement, and as the alarm went off and Harriman's partner, Sergeant Charlie Felton called out over the radio. "Attention all personnel, offorld activation, unknown source." they heard in response to that news gently.
And Hammond nodded and headed downstairs said as he said it to Jack and Sam at that news. "Alright what the hell is going on exactly?" he asked and Harriman explained that as he tried to fix the sudden surge in the system. "The mainframe is having a nervous breakdown." he said and Jack explained that. "We had this happen after sending a MALP to Abydos, and the system was screaming bloody murder."
"And from the information overload, then again, having sudden megabytes of input like this going into it's A.I.. This is too much for a very young computer system like our dialing computer to take." He said and Hammond nodded as Sam tried to keep from laughing at that remark. "Yeah that's an understatement, but nice way of putting it right now, Jack." Sarah said as she started laughing at his remark then.
As Hammond answered him at that news. "Well why is the blast shield down, get it up." he said and Sam activated it to reveal the Tollan, Daniel and Teal'C standing there as John walked in then at that. "What are they doing, how did they get here." he said and Harriman quickly said it to Hammond. "Gate's dialing, chevron 6 engaged." he said and Maybourne said it into the Radio to Daniel as he realized it then quickly.
"Dr. Jackson, this is Colonel Maybourne, what you're doing is a court martialable offense." he said and lifted his hand, to his ear, as though he was straining to him then and Jack hid a smirk then. "Well Jack knows he's faking that response right now at the moment." Picard said with a smile to that remark and response to it then as they heard Jack's responding remark that sentence then gently at that warning then
"He's not in the military colonel, and I think it would kind of hard to find a civilian law to cover this." he said and Landry nodded as they heard a gentle thought. 'If it wasn't for the fact the we created the SGA, he would have been fired.' they heard in a sigh of relief. "If we never created the SGA, then yes it would have, but the Tollan are now my jurisdiction, the SGA is active and you are out of luck, Maybourne."
"The Federation has now activated itself and the IOA just over ruled his orders to take them with him now." he said and as they heard the answer. "Oh that is too good now, the IOA just formed and created the SGA as our base community. Our sector and our new home-town is now fully active at the moment and our grandparents. They were preparing to switch sectors that day, finally." Rod said smiling and Landry nodded to him at that.
"I will have you removed from this program forever if you do this!" Maybourne shouted and Hammond nodded firmly. "Wherever you send them, we'll hunt them down." Maybourne said with a threatening tone. "Daniel, you better get going, you got your bags packed and ready to go, son!" Hammond called out and he nodded. "Sir Yes, Sir, just waiting for our guest to arrive right now and with her."
"It's my new military boss at the moment." he said and the trio looked at him in shock at that remark then. "Go, go where?!" John asked quickly and Daniel smiled. "I've been re-assigned for the duration now that we let them go, you're removing me. And from the base-line program, fine, I just been re-assigned anyway." he said and John quickly said it to that remark at the fact he'd been played.
"You're leaving, you can't do that, you broke orders?" he snapped and before Hammond could answer him, they heard a stern tone to that as a new voice entered the conversation at that. "And we're not sending them anywhere, the gate was activated of world, someone is sending for them." Sam said slowly and he said it. "Who?" Maybourne asked and a second later a woman with wild hair walked through.
As she stood there in front of the gate and smiled. "Hello." she said and Daniel ran up to her. "Hello Lya." he said and in a fast remark, that screamed desperation. "All personnel in the gate room, this is Colonel Maybourne. I've got a presidential order to take the aliens with me, do not let them pass, use force if necessary." he said and all the S.F.'s raised their weapons and Daniel sighed at that in annoyance.
And looked at her, with a bemused look and she nodded in agreement. "Your race has learned nothing." she said and Makepeace and John flinched at that as she looked at Daniel, Teal'C, SG-1 and Hammond gently as they saw the pleased smile at that. "But you have, the Tollan are most welcome to the Nox, please come."she said and they smiled as Omac patted his shoulder at that response as he said it to him.
As he looked at Hammond, Jack and Sam, before looking at Teal'C and Daniel smiling gently, as John stood there in shock at the fact his chance had been blown it then. "Narim was right about you, perhaps someday in time, we will meet again." he said as they were getting ready to go. 'Good bye my friend.' Narim said to her softly and she answered him. 'Bye.' she said in response as she stood up then gently at that.
"Stop, take one more step, and I'll be forced to have them open fire." Maybourne snapped and she shook her head sadly at that, as Jack looked at him in disgust at that. And as she closed her eyes and brought her arms into a circle, as she activated it purely on mind control. "Come." she said as the Tollan went up one by one at that as Jack looked at Daniel as he smiled at him gently at that response then as he said it.
'"You got plenty of food with you, water, medical supplies?" he asked and Daniel smiled and nodded. "I got five sets of clothes, matching the terrain and with them clean normal clothes and socks, I'll be okay, my brother." he said and Jack nodded in relief as Maybourne shouted it out. "Fire, fire!" he snapped and the guns all got yanked out of their hands as they all went through the gate as Jack smiled at that.
"God I love those people." he said smiling as they looked at Maybourne who had a furious look on his face at this as Omac stayed put as he watched him leave the room. As Jack, Sam and Hammond smiled as they went to join Daniel. "You did good Daniel." he said and Daniel smiled. "What of Maybourne?" Teal'C asked him and she said it with a chuckle then. "Oh, he is not a happy camper." she said and Hammond nodded gently.
"There'll be hell to pay once he gets back to Washington." he said as he moved to the system and hit a few keys then as a new section just above the briefing room opened as Jack looked at the thoughtful look on Daniel's face. "What?" he asked and Daniel smiled. "Oh I was just thinking about what the little guy with the funny hair once told us." he said and Jack chuckled as he answered him as he quoted it then.
