Being Cronus' mother was not easy. It was demanding, frustrating, and heartbreaking, but it was not easy.
Gaia loved her son, but she also loved her grandchildren. Sometimes, she felt torn. She wanted her grandchildren to win their war, but at the same time she wasn't certain she wanted to see Cronus returned to Tartarus. Yes, he had done some terrible things, but wasn't four thousand years in prison enough punishment?
She felt sorriest for the seven heroes. They were the ones caught up in a war they hadn't started. They were the true victims in all this, poor kids.
