"In a case like this you would fail the Fusion Summon…" An Academia professor instruction his students when all of a sudden Rin and her D-Wheel materialize on his desk. "His name is not Fusion, it's Yugo!" Rin snaps much to the shock of both the professor and his red jacketed students. Rin soon breaks down the door and roars out of the room "And he didn't fail either!" she yells. "Hey! Don't drive you bike in the hallways!" the poor professor protest. "It's not a bike! It's a D-Wheel!" Rin retorts. She weaves through more students "But still…where is this?!" Rin angrily asks.
Yuya, Yuri and the two men from Academia ascended up to the Helicoptor. Yuri! Why!?" Yuzu yells. In the Throne Room "Yuri reporting in, I have capture Yuya Sakaki" Yuri's states over the radio. "With this, we have all the pieces" Leo states. He then looks at a monitor showing Yusho, Asuka and Katio. "Yusho Sakaki…It seems the time to tell you everything has come…" Leo states. The man next to Leo shuffles his Deck and the draws a card and smiles.
Yusho, Asuka and Kaito all step off the boat "This is odd…There isn't a single Academia soldier" Asuka observes. "It must because Leo Akaba already was informed that we would be coming to the island" Yusho observe, as Rin waits in the shadows. "A trap then?" Asuka wonders. "Even if it is a trap…If Yuto is in that tower, I have to go save him!" Kaito declares. Kaito runs off "Hey!" Rin calls to him. Kaito swiftly grabs Rin's arm and pins her to the ground with her arm twisted behind her back "Ow! Ow! Ow! I give! I give!" Rin yelps. "You Fusion underling!" Katio calls her. "I'm not an underling! It's Rin!" Rin protest. "Rin…I see , then you're…!" Kaito realize that Rin was the person that Asuka mentioned and lets her go. "You hurry too!" Katio tells Rin, and runs off. "What's with him?" Rin wonders. "How did you get here before us?" Asuka asked Rin. "Well, Yuya's bracelet started glowing and sent me here!" Rin explains. "Sent you? What do you mean?" Asuka confused. "I don't quite get it myself but…It's been sending me places over and over" Rin admits. "Actually, where is this?" She asked. "Academia" Asuka states. "Huh?! This is Academia?!" Rin surprised. "That's right. More importantly we know where Yugo is!" Asuka states. "What!?" Rin shock. Rin quickly grabs Asuka' lapels "Where is he?!" she asked. "He's at the top floor of the tower on the coastine" Asuka points out. Rin lets go "You should have said so sooner!" She yells at Asuka, and she gets on her D-Wheel where she hid it and roars off. "Be careful! It might be a trap by Academia! Yusho warns her, but Rin wasn't listening. Yusho smiles "No point in telling her, I guess" He admits. "Then, shall we get going as well?" Yusho suggest. "Yes, teacher!" Asuka agrees, and they look up at Academia "To meet with Leo Akaba" Yusho said.
Rin drives through a tunnel and into a canyon "Yugo!" Rin shouts in her head. She catches sight of the Eastern Tower "Up there…? Yugo is up there then?" She observes. "Wait for me, Yugo! I'm on my way!" She tells him. Kaito had also reached the Western Tower "Just wait Shun, I'm going to save your best friend right now!" He urges.
On Reiji's speedboat "Yuri is under their control, and now Yuya has been taken to Academia" Yuzu explains. "So that means all three of the kidnapped boys are in there" Gongenzaka states. "No, there's also the boy that Rin is searching for, Yugo" corrects him. "Yeah…" Ruri agrees. "That girl was chasing after me thinking I was Serena" she notes. "This means the Professor has finally capture all of the boys he was after" Yuzu mused. "Sora! Anything will help; do you know anything about it? Why is the Professor capturing all of them!?" She asked. "I answered this before but, I don't know anything else about that. But I do know that the ARC Area Project the Professor is pushing forward is to make four Dimensions into one" Sora replies. "In each of those worlds, there's a person just like Yuya" Yuzu mused. "So then that means the Professor now definitely has each of the boys he was looking for" Gongenzaka states. Reiji narrow his eyes "Our worlds are split into four dimensions, the fact that the Professor is collecting four boys who all have the same face from each Dimension must mean, Yuya and the others have something to do with the ARC Area Project" Sora states. "Yuya and the others…" Yuzu whispers. "I see…Then if we save Yuya and the others we may halt the ARC Area Project as well" Gongenzaka comments. "Yeah! That's why we should save them as soon as possible!" Yuzu agrees. "Got it!" The Lancers said.
Katio reaches the top of the Western Tower to find a woman dressed in white Greek clothing carrying a staff "I am the Guardian of the West Tower, Diana" She introduce herself. "Is Yuto here?" Katio asked. "You'll have to beat me to fine out" Diana replies, and she tosses her staff aside and she activates her Duel Disk. "Then I'll crush you!" Kaito replies and he activates his own Duel Disk. "DUEL!" Both Duellist cry out. "I'll start..." Diana states. "I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization from my hand! I fuse Guardian Baou and Penumbral Soldier Lady from my hand!" She declares. "When the moonlight shines on a dark greatsword...two warriors become one! Fusion Summmon! Penumbral Keeper, Descend!" Diana chants (ATK: 2100). "Next I activate Penumbral Keeper's monster effect!" Diana declares. "I Special Summon one Keeper Shield Token!" She states (DEF: 0). "As long as this Token exist Penumbral Keeper cannot be targeted by an attack! And I place one card face down and end my turn" Diana states.
Rin drives up the stairs of the Eastern Tower, and she roars onto the landing "Yugo!" She yells. A man in a large red cape stands before her "I am the Guardian of the East Tower, Apollo" he introduces himself. "Shut up! I don't care if you're Afo or Poporo! I don't have time for an old man like you!" Rin orders. "Where is Yugo?!" She asked. "Give him back!" She orders. "If you want him back you'll have to defeat me!" Apollo replies and he activates his Duel Disk. "Ugh, talk about a hassle!" Rin groans and she activates her Duel Disk. "Then if that's what you want I'll wipe the floor with you!" She replies. "DUEL!" Both Duellist cry out. "I'll go first" Apollo states. "I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization from my hand! I fuse Guardian Tryce and Luminous Soldier from my hand!" He declares. "When the sunlight shines on the glistening twinblades...two warriors become one! Fusion Summon! Luminous Keeper, Descend!" Apollo chants (ATK: 2400). "Next, I active Luminous Keeper's monster effect!" Apollo declares. I Special Summon one Keeper Shield Token!" He states (DEF: 0). "As long as this Token exist Luminous Keeper cannot be targeted by an attack! I then set one card and end my turn" Apollo state.
"Here I go! My turn!" Run declares and draws. "I activate the Spell Card: Windwitch Scratch from my hand!" Rin declares. "By sending a Windwitch in my hand to the Graveyard I add a Windwitch from my deck to my hand!" She states. She discards Windwitch-Frigid Bell and a coin appears and scratches a "Z" into the Windwitch Scratch card which dissipates to reveal Windwitch-Frosty Bell as Rin adds it to her hand. "And I Summon this card I added to my hand, Windwitch-Frosty Bell!" Rin declares (ATK: 1400). "When this card is successfully Summoned I can Special Summon a Level 3 or lower Windwitch from my Graveyard!" She explains. Frosty Bell blasts its staff to the Graveyard. "Come, Frigid Bell!" Rin calls out (ATK: 1200). "I Tune my Level 4 Frosty Bell to Frigid!" She declares. "Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 7! Windwitch - Winter Bell!" Rin chants (ATK: 2400) "Frigid Bell's monster effect! When she is used for a Synchro Summon, that Synchro Monster gains 100 ATK for Wind monster on the field!" She states (Winter Bell's ATK: 2500).
At the Western Tower "My turn!" Kaito declares and draws. "I Summon Cipher Wing from my hand!" Kaito said (ATK: 1400). When I control a Cipher Wing I can Special Summon another Cipher Wing from my hand!" He states (ATK: 1400). "Next I use from my hand the Continuous Spell: Double Exposure" Katio said. "I double the Levels of two monsters on my field with the same name!" He explains (Cipher Wing's LV: 8x2). "I then Overlay the two now Level 8 Cipher Wings!" Kaito declares. "Xyz Summon! Descend! Rank 8! Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon!" He chants (ATK: 3000). Winter Bell Hymns and Galaxy-Eyes roar and bare their chests.
"Summoning your ace monster right out of the gates?" Apollo observes Rin. "It seems you want to finish this quickly, but let's have a bit more fun!" Diana comments. "Continuous Trap: Admiration of the Keepers, activate!" Apollo and Diana declare. "Winter Bell's monster effect is negated, and I Special Summon two more Keeper Shield Tokens!" Apollo explains. Winter Bell glows red and two more Tokens appear from red light (DEF: 0x2). "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's monster effect is negated, and I Special Summon two more Keeper Shield Tokens!" Diana explains. Galaxy-Eyes glows blue and two more Tokens appear from blue light (DEF: 0x2). "Your monster can attack all of the Keeper Shield Tokens" Apollo explains to Rin. "But, if you don't attack your monster will be destroyed" Diana explains to Katio. "Now, what will you do!? Will you attack the Keeper Shield Tokens? Or..." Apollo asked Rin. "...not attack and lose your ace monster?!" Diana asked Kaito. "There's no reason to think about it!" Kaito scoff. "I attack Keeper Shield Token with Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon! Cipher Stream of Eradication!" He declares and Keeper Shield Token was destroys. "Battle! I attack Keeper Shield Token with Windwitch - Winter Bell!" Rin declares and Keeper Shield Token was destroys
"At this moment I activate Luminous Keeper's monster effect!" Apollo declares. "The ATK of the monster that destroyed the Keeper Shield Token is lower by 800! And I deal 800 damag.e to my opponent!" He explains (Winter Bell's ATK: 1700) (Rin's LP: 3200). Apollo laughs "The more tokens you destroy the weaker your monster gets and your life is whittled away!" He explains. "Will you still continue though?" Apollo asked. Smoking from the damage "So this was your plan?!" Rin angrily muses. "At this moment I activate Penumbral Keeper's monster effect!" Diana declares. "The ATK of the monster that destroyed the Keeper Shield Token is lower by 800! And my LP is healed by 800!" She explains (Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's ATK: 2200) (Diana's LP: 4800). Diana laughs "The more tokens you destroy the weaker your monster gets and my LP is healed!" She explains. "Will you still continue though?" Diana asked. "Such petty tricks!" Katio calls it.
"If you don't want any more of your life whittled away, you can end your turn now. But you'll lose your Windwitch - Winter Bell" Apollo reminds Rin. "There's no way I'd do that!" Rin snaps. "Battle! I attack the second Keeper Shield Token with Windwitch - Winter Bell!" she declares and the second Keeper Shield Token was destroyed. "I activate Luminous Keeper's monster effect!" Apollo declares. "Windwitch - Winter Bell's ATK is lowered by 800, and you're dealt 800 damage!" He states (Winter Bell's ATK: 900) (Rin's LP: 2400). "I attack the third!" Rin declares and Winter Bell destroys the final Keeper Shield Token. "I activate Luminous Keeper's monster effect!" Apollo declares. . "Windwitch - Winter Bell's ATK is lowered by 800, and you're dealt 800 damage!" He states (Winter Bell's ATK: 100) (Rin's LP: 1600). "No matter what tactics you resort to, all I need to do is one thing! Battle! I attack the second Keeper Shield Token with Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon!" Kaito declares and Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon destroyed the second Keeper Shield Token. "I activate Penumbral Keeper's monster effect!" Diana declares. "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's ATK is lowered by 800, and my LP is healed by 800!" She states (Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's ATK: 1400) (Diana's LP: 5600). "Just wait Shun; I will save your best friend!" Kaito urges Shun again. "I attack the third Keeper Shield Token with Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon!" Kaito decalres and Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon destroyed the third Keeper Shield Token. I activate Penumbral Keeper's monster effect!" Diana declares. "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's ATK is lowered by 800, and my LP is healed by 800!" She states (Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon's ATK: 600) (Diana's LP: 6400).
"You whittled away your own LP to keep your ace monster? But its ATK is now a mere 100!" Apollo observes. "Was there even a reason to keep it?" He wonders. "There is!" Rin replies, much to Apollo's surprise. "With this, all of your Keeper Shield Tokens are gone!" Rin reminds Apollo. "And since I've taken damage during the Battle Phase, I can Special Summon Windwitch-Polar Bell from my hand!" She states (DEF: 800). "And with successfully Special Summoning Polar Bell, I tune my Level 7 Windwitch - Winter Bell to my Level 1 Windwitch-Polar Bell!" Rin declares. "Snow and Ice, become clear like the white maiden's heart! Synchro Summon! Come forth! Level 8! Windwitch-Clear Bell!" she chants (ATK: 3000). "Admiration of the Keepers is destroyed due to its target leaving the field" Apollo explains. "To think she summoned an even more powerful ace monster from this situation…" He was shocked. "But don't think that alone will be able to defeat me!" Apollo declares. "What're you talking about?!" Rin asked Apollo. "My turn isn't over yet!" She states. "When Windwitch-Polar Bell is used as a Synchro Material, I can draw one card from my deck and if that card is a Windwitch it's sent to the Graveyard and its ATK is added to Clear Bell's!" Rin explains. "I'll end it with this single card! Yugo is so close! I can't afford to waste any more time!" She mused. "Please my cards…!" Rin declares as she remembers Yugo. "Draw!" She yells out.
She draws Windwitch-Icicle Bell "All right! I got it!" Rin cries. Polar Bell appears and ejects a crystal and Icicle Bell emerges in a flash of light "The 1000 ATK of the card I drew, Icicle Bell, is added to Windwitch-Clear Bell's!" Rin explains (Windwitch-Clear Bell's ATK: 4000). "Battle! I attack Luminous Keeper with Windwitch-Clear Bell!" She declares. "Even if you destroy Luminous Keeper, on my next turn…!" Apollo protest. But Rin revs her D-Wheel "I'm not done yet! When Windwitch-Clear Bell battles a Level 5 or higher monster, it gains that monster's ATK!" Rin tell Apollo. Clear Bell blades glows blue as it ATK rose (Windwitch-Clear Bell's ATK: 6400). "An ATK of 6400?!" Apollo repeats in horror. "Go! Icicle Crash!" Rin yells out and Clear Bell zigzags through the air and attacks with Icicle Crash destroying Luminous Keeper and wiping Apollo out in a single blow (Apollo's LP: 0). Rin screeches to a halt, removes her helmet."Yugo!" Rin calls out as she runs inside the tower.
"You increased my LP to keep your ace monster? But its ATK is 600" Diana observe. "Was there even a reason to keep it?" She wonders. "Of course!" Kaito replies,much to Diana's surprise. "With this, all of your Keeper Shield Tokens are gone!" Kaito reminds Diana. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell: Rank-Up-Magic Cipher Pursuit" He declares. "If the difference between my LP and my opponent's is over 2000, I can Xyz Summon a Cipher Xyz Monster one Rank higher than the target monster!" He explains. "Galaxy shining in the darkness…Release your light unchanging for all eternity and create a path to the future! Rank Up: Xyz Change! Descend now! Rank 9! Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon!" Kaito chants (ATK: 4500). "Admiration of the Keepers is destroyed due to its target leaving the field" Diana explains. "Using Cipher Pursuit's effect I activate Neo Galaxy-Eyes' effect!" Kaito explains. "I use all of its Overlay Units and activate its monster effect! Cipher Super Projection!" He declares. Neo Galaxy-Eyes streams light from its wings "I gain control of all my opponent's monsters with their effect negated! All monsters I gain control of this way cannot attack and become Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragons" He explains (ATK: 4500). Diana grits her teeth "My monster was...!" She laments. "Next I activate the Quick-Play Spell: Galaxy-Eyes Nova from my hand!" Kaito declares. "I release my 2nd Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon and Special Summon Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon from my Graveyard!" He explains (ATK: 3000).
Diana backs away in horror "I directly attack with Neo Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon and Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon!" Kaito declares. Both monsters ascend above the clouds and deploy their wings "Don't! Stop!" Diana begs Kaito as she stumbles and falls. Sunlight falls on Kaito as he glares at Diana "Are you ready to repent?" He asked her. Diana screams in terror "Double Cipher Stream of Eradication!" Kaito orders his monsters. The attack blasts away the clouds and slams Diana into the ground, wiping her out and knocking her unconscious (Diana's LP: 0). Kaito glare at her until he remembers why he came here "Yuto!" He calls out and rushes into the Western Tower. The watching man who was standing beside the Professor smiles as he looks at the unconscious bodies of Diana and Apollo.
Kaito bashes the door open and finds Yuto sitting in a chair. "Kaito!" Yuto surprised. "Why are you here?!" He asked him. "Let's go! Shun is waiting!" Kaito suggested. "Yeah, thank you" Yuto agrees.
Rin had also just bashed Yugo's door open, and Yugo turns towards her from his seat on his bed as Rin pants. "Yugo!" Rin whisper and Yugo gets up "Rin..." He whispers. "Yugo!" Rin cries out as she rushes towards him, as she's done with Yuya and Yuri...and Yugo knee her in the stomach several times, knocking the wind out of her. "You're late!" Yugo angrily snaps. "What have you been doing!?" He asked. "Y…Yugo!" Rin weakly whispers. "I…I've been waiting so long. I was so worried, lonely and scared!" Yugo tearfully explains. "Rin, you idiot!" He calls Rin as he runs to her tears pour down his face and hugs her tightly. "Yugo…" Rin whisper and returns the hug. The watching man holds up an Effect Monster-Fusion Parasite, and his mouth twists into a nightmarish grin. "Yugo…Everything is fine now…" Rin softly reassures him. "Yeah…" Yugo agrees- and then his relieved smile twists into a mirror of the man's as a spider captures a butterfly in its web...
