.80 - Byleth and Sothis and Anna

"Welcome, welcome!" Anna claps and rubs her hands together at the sound of the shop's bell, a mischievous smile on her face. "Anna's Emporium, at your service! Twenty-nine years without a single unsatisfied customer! What can I do for you? Weapons, provisions, seals, souvenirs, a charming gift for that special someone—?"

"Ball," Byleth blurts out before swiftly correcting himself. "I, er, suit. Ball suit."

"Um.." Anna's expression falters. She can't see the sharp, course-correcting kick the professor receives in his sides.

"S-suit," the professor winces. "I'd like a suit for the grand ball."

"Oh!" Anna taps a finger upon her chin, her smirk returning. "Why didn't you say so? Towards the back! That's where I keep all the good stuff. I have no doubt someone as tall, dark, and handsome as you will find something fitting! Let me know if you need anything else!"

Byleth shifts closer, closer, and closer still upon hearing that invitation.

"And dresses?" he asks in a low voice.

"Dresses?"

Whatever confusion Anna has is immediately swept aside by the first thing her mind jumps to.

"Oh, I see," she hums before cupping her mouth and winking. "You like it wild and freakish, don't you?"

"Wild and," Byleth frowns. "... What?"

'That is it. Dresses. Now.'

A voice in his ear and a second course-correcting punt separate Byleth from the merchant before she can explain herself.
