Knight trapped in the Darkness
Kurosaki was climbing up the stairs of the West Tower "Yuto!" He yells out. "Wait, Shun!" Kaito calls out as he went after him. "Yuto!" Kurosaki yells as he made it to the top. Yuto was looking at Diana's body and turns around when he hears his name. Shun?" Yuto gasped. "Yuto!" Kurosaki said and runs towards him. "Shun!" Yuto said as he runs towards him. When the both of got close to each other, they hugged each other. "I finally…I finally found you!" Kurosaki states. "I missed you!" Yuto states. He the gasped "Where's Kaito?" Yuto asked. "I remember seeing him coming to save me…But the next moment he was gone" He states. "I'm right here" Kaito tells him. "Yuto, you don't remember!? What you did to me…!?" He asked. "Stop! Don't say another word!" Kurosaki tells Kaito. "Edo said there's a Duellist working with the Professor with an ability to manipulate people. It's very likely that Yuto is under that Duellist control!" Kaito states. "I'm being manipulated? What do you mean? What're you talking about?" Yuto confused. "Listen to me Kaito. You must have made some kind of mistake. The Yuto with us here right now is indeed my best friend! He hasn't changed at all! He's the same Yuto as always! There's no way I wouldn't notice!" Kurosaki tells Kaito.
In the throne room, the Doktor chuckles "It's would be fun to keep watching them argue amongst themselves but…Unfortunately, we don't have time" He states. "Now then can the bonds between friends overcome the will to serve the Professor?" The Doktor wonders as he shuffles his deck and draws Fusion Parasite. "Let's test it…" He states and them smiles
At the West Tower, Kurosaki was staring at Katio who was staring back, Yuto looked worried, but then he closed his eyes and when he opens them, he had a wicked smile on him. Yuto then tried to attack Kurosaki, but Kurosaki grabs his arm "Yuto!" Kurosaki exclaims. "Let go of me!" Yuto demands as he freed himself from Kurosaki's grasped. "Now do you understand, Shun? Yuto isn't himself" Kaito states. "How dare they do that to Yuto! Academia, I will not forgive you! I never will!" Kurosaki exclaims. "Now, Duel me!" Yuto tells Kurosaki as he puts on an Academia Duel Disk. "Shun! I'm going to find who is controlling Yuto! I'll leave this to you!" Katio tells him. Kurosaki watches Kaito leaves and then turns to Yuto. Yuto steps back. Kaito runs down the stairs, before he stops and takes out a card and then looks up.
Meanwhile at the Academia's training facility, Yuzu and Gongenzaka found Ethan's card "Another one of them was turned into a card…" Gongenzaka said. "Who is doing this?!" He wonders. "It's dangerous to be split up…Let's hurry and find Crow and Sawatari!" Yuzu states. "Yeah!" Gongenzaka agrees and both of them went off to look for them. "Where are you Sawatari? Sawatari! Hey!" Crow calls out as he looks around. Sawatari was running alongside a river, with the unknown Duellist chasing him in the treetops. "Who is this guy that keeps chasing me?" Sawatari wonders. Sawatari stops and turns around, but his foot missed a ledge and he slips and screams. The unknown Duellist watched him fall and growls.
Back at the West Tower, "Field Spell: Crossover" Kurosaki's Duel Disk declares and blue platforms appeared. "DUEL!" Both Yuto and Kurosaki cries out and the Action Cards dispersed.
"I'll go first!" Kurosaki states. "I Summon Raidraptor - Vanishing Lanius from my hand!" He declares (ATK: 1300). "The turn this card is Summoned, I can Special Summon another Vanishing Lanius! And Retrofit Lanius can be treated as any "Raidraptor" monster I control!" He explains. "I Special Summon Retrofit Lanius as Vanishing Lanius!" Kurosaki declares (ATK: 800). "And Retrofit Lanius is treated as two Xyz Materials!" He states. "I Overlay my Level 4 Vanishing Lanius and Retrofit Lanius'!" Kurosaki declares. "Obscured falcon, Raise your claws sharpened by adversity! Spread your wings of rebellion! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Raidraptor - Rise Falcon!" He chants (ATK: 100). "You weren't able to do anything without me by your side...To think you would now attack me..." Kurosaki states. "I set one card and end my turn!" He said. "I couldn't do anything unless you were by my side?!" Yuto annoyed. "You're the one who assumed that on your own!" He tells him. "A 100 ATK monster with a face-down card?! Do you think I'd fall for such an obvious Trap? Yuto asked him. "Quit underestimating me!" He yells.
"My turn!" Yuto declares and draws. "I Summon The Phantom Knight of Broken Spear from my hand!" He said (ATK: 0). "And if I control a Phantom Knight aside from Broken Spear, I can Special Summon another Broken Spear and Envious Arrow from my hand!" Yuto states. "Come forth, Envious Arrow and my second! Broken Spear!" He calls out (ATK: 0) (ATK: 100). "Now I Overlay my Two Broken Spears!" Yuto declares. "From the pitch-black darkness. Rise up against the foolish oppression, Fang of Rebellion! Descend now! Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 4! Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon!" He chants (ATK: 2500). "Next I activate Envious Arrow's Monster effect!" Yuto declares. "By sending to the Graveyard a can give one DARK Xyz monster on the field Overlay units equal to its level and that monster can attack my opponent directly as many Overlay units as it has, but it's attack decrease by the number of Overlay units times its Rank!" He explains (Dark Rebellion's ATK: 500). "There's no mistake. This is definitely Yuto's Deck! And the cards Yuto is the most skilled with...! But now that you've fallen into darkness, they don't suit you" Kurosaki states. "I make my first direct attack, Go!" Yuto declares (Kurosaki's LP: 3500). "The Second!" He declares (Kurosaki's LP: 3000) "The Third!" He declares (Kurosaki's LP: 2500). "What's wrong? Don't you Lancers use Action Cards?" Yuto mocks. "The forth!" He declares (Kurosaki's LP: 2000). "Try using one if you get a chance to!" Yuto said. "The fifth!" He declares (Kurosaki's LP: 1500). Kurosaki was brought down to his knee. "I can't do anything unless you're by my side?! Never say that again!" Yuto yells out. "I set one card and end my turn" He said.
"How cruel, so truly cruel! He's so wonderfully heartless!" The Doktor states. He then laughs "My monster has broken a bond between friends!" The Doktor said. "Splendid!" He cheers. Leo continues to watch in silent.
Kurosaki gets up "Listen to me, Yuto. It doesn't matter who wins this Duel! I only want to use this Duel to bring you back! No, I will bring you back!" He tells him. "My turn!" He declares and draws. "I don't belong to anyone! I'm not something that you can bring back!" Yuto states. Somewhere in Yuto's mind, the real Yuto was tuck sitting with his head own. He then lifts his head up and his eyes were glazes over.
Back at the Survival Duel, Sawatari was sitting on a ledge "Looks like I managed to shake them off..." He mutters.
I activate Rank-Up-Magic Raid Force!" Kurosaki declares. "Using Rise Falcon as material, I Overlay!" He explains. "Ferocious falcon, Break though this fierce battle and spread your wings! Destroy our gathering foes! Rank up: Xyz Change! Come forth! Rank 5! Raidraptor - Blaze Falcon!" Kurosaki chants (ATK: 1000). "I activate Blaze Falcon's effect!" He declares. "I destroyed every Special Summoned monster my opponent controls, and deal damage for each monster destroyed!" Kurosaki explains. "I activate the Trap Card: Phantom Shield!"Yuto declares. "Now by removing one Overlay Unit and decreasing my monster's ATK by 100, I can negate Dark Rebellion's destruction!" He explains. "Even if you saved Dark Rebellion, its ATK goes down by 100 from Phantom Shield's effect!" Kurosaki states (Dark Rebellion's ATK: 400). "And Blaze Falcon directly attack my opponent!" He states. "Come to your senses, Yuto!" Kurosaki yells. "I activate Phantom Shield's effect!" Yuto declares. "By removing one Overlay Unit and decreasing my monster's ATK by 100, I can reduce battle damage to 0!" He explains. "And with that effect, Dark Rebellion's ATK goes down 100!" Kurosaki states (Dark Rebellion's ATK: 300). "I end my turn here" He said.
"My turn!" Yuto declares and draws Fusion Parasite and he smiles. "I activate Phantom Knight Envious Arrow's effect from my Graveyard!" Yuto declares. "Now my Dark Rebellion can attack you directly time as many Overlay Units it has" He explains. Dark Rebellion attacks Kurosaki (Kurosaki's LP: 1200). In Yuto's mind, his real self starts to react. Dark Rebellion attacks a second time (Kurosaki's LP: 900). "S…Shun…" Yuto whispers as he eyes return to normal. Dark Rebellion attacks a third time (Kurosaki's LP: 600). "Why!? Why!? Shun!" Yuto exclaims. Kurosaki was brought to his knee again "Your attack are weak! Even if you're being manipulated by Academia, the deck you're using is the same! Then you have no chance of winning against a friend who knows everything about his friend's Deck!" He states. "Don't forget those words" Yuto tells him. "I activate the Quick-Play Spell: Phantom Summon!" He declares. "I can Special Summon a Level 1 monster from my hand in Defense Position!" Yuto explains. "The card I will Summon is Fusion Parasite!" He declares (DEF: 0). "Wh-what is that?!" Kurosaki shocked. "That's not one of Yuto's monsters!" He states. "It's too soon to be surprised!" Yuto tells Kurosaki. "When Fusion Parasite is Special Summon, it can be used as Fusion material with a Fusion card!" He explains. "What? Yuto is going to Fusion Summon?!" Kurosaki shocked. "The monsters I will fuse are Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon and Fusion Parasite!" Yuto declares "Dragon of rebellion, Become one with your inner voice and roar more intently! Fusion Summon! Noble Dragon of Strife! Dark Chaos Rebellion Dragon!" He chants (ATK: 1000). "When Fusion Parasite is used as Fusion Material, it becomes an Equip Card to the Fusion Summoned monster!" Yuto explains as Fusion Parasite latching itself to Dark Chaos' chest. "And when Dark Chaos is Summoned, It's Level increases equal to the amount of Overlay Units left on its Fusion Material, Dark Rebellion!" Yuto explains, while the Yuto trapped in his mind tries to block it. (Dark's Chaos' LV: 4) "Next its ATK increases by its Level times 500!" He continues (Dark Chaos' ATK: 3000).
"Yuto would never use Fusion Summoning…! Now I know for certain! Yuto is being manipulated by that parasite-like-monster! There's no mistaking it!" Kurosaki thinks. "Battle! I attack Blaze Falcon with Dark Choas!" Yuto declares. "Trap Card activate: Raidraptor – Evasion!" Kurosaki declare. "I return on of Raidraptors' Overlay Units to my hand and negate an attack on Blaze Falcon!" He explains. Yuto chuckles "Don't think it's over with just that…" He states. "I activate Dark Chaos' monster effect!" Yuto declares. "Once per turn, it can deal damage equal to 500 times its Level to my opponent!" He explains. Kurosaki went a grabs an Action Card "Action Spell: Acceleration, activate!" He said. "Effect damage is reduced to 0" Kurosaki explains. "You're trying quite hard for someone who said it doesn't matter who wins this Duel…I bet it's because as a friend, you don't want to lose to your best friend? That's the kind of person you are!" Yuto states. "I activate the Spell Card: Phantom Seal from my hand! I negate Blaze Falcon's monster effect!" He declares. "With this Blaze Falcon cannot destroyed Dark Chaos with its monster effect!" Yuto states. "I end my turn here" He said.
"My turn!" Kurosaki declares and draws. Kurosaki looks at the card he drew and gasped. He then looks at Yuto "Do you remember, Yuto? When you Duelled Sayaka at the Clover School Duel Tournament?" Kurosaki asked him.
(Flashback)
Yuto had just lost his Duel against Sayaka (Yuto's LP: 0). Yuto fell to his knees "Winner: Clover First Year, Sayaka Sasayama!" The announce declares, and the audience cheers. Sayaka then holds a card, Little Fairy, to Yuto, who looked confused. "Little Fairy?" Yuto asked and takes the card. "You're giving this to me?" Yuto asked as he gets up. "Yeah" Sayaka said. "But isn't this your most important card, Sayaka?" He comments. "That's why I want you to have it. Since you're my most important friend!" Sayaka tells him. "Sayaka..." Yuto whispers. "Yuto!" Kurosaki calls out as he ran onto the field. "Don't accept it!" He tells Yuto. "Shun!" Yuto exclaims. Kurosaki growls and slaps Little Fairy out of Yuto's hand. "And if you call yourself a Duellist, then you shouldn't be just giving away your cards to others that easily!" Kurosaki tells Sayaka.
(Flashback ends)
"Back then, I couldn't understand why Sayaka did that. No, it wasn't just that. Even since I lost you, I had become even more bitter..." Kurosaki states. "I don't care what you have to say! Just finish already!" Yuto tells him. "But I changed after I met Yuzu Hiragi and made new comrades with the Lancers. Now I understand Sayaka's actions" He said looks at the card he drew, with was Little Fairy. "I Summon Little Fairy!" Kurosaki said (ATK: 800). "What?! Little Fairy?!" Yuto shocked. "Kaito entrusted it with me!" Kurosaki tells him.
(Flashback)
Kaito runs down the stairs, before he stops and takes out a Little Fairy "And I'm sure that Sayaka had instructed it with Kaito" Kurosaki states. Kaito turns around runs back up the stairs. "Shun, use this!" Katio tells him as he throws Little Fairy to him and Kurosaki grabs it.

"I activate Little Fairy's effect!" Kurosaki declares. "I send one card from my hand to the Graveyard and increase its Level by 1!" He explains (Little Fairy's LV: 4). "I can use this effect twice per turn!" Kurosaki explains as he sent a card from his hand (Little Fairy's LV: 5). "Next I activate the Spell Card: Cross Xyz from my hand!" Kurosaki declares. "I can perform an Xyz Summon using monsters with the Rank and Level!" He explains. "A Xyz Summon using Rank and Levels?!" Yuto shocked. "I Overlay My Rank 5 Blaze Falcon and my now Level 5 Little Fairy!" Kurosaki declares. "Unseen brave falcon, Spread your wings and reveals to us your hidden power now! Cross-Xyz Summon! Come forth! Rank 5! Raidraptor - Stranger Falcon!" He chants (ATK: 2000). Yuto backs up a bit "Listen up, Yuto! It's not just me...Sayaka, Kaito and plenty of our comrades are waiting for you to return!" Kurosaki tells him. "That doesn't matter to me! Quit spouting nonsense!" Yuto tells Kurosaki. "It seems I have no choice but to bring back the real Yuto then..." Kurosaki states. "The real me?! That never existed! It was just you delusion!" Yuto claims.
"I activate Stranger Falcon's effect!" Kurosaki declares. "By using one Overlay Unit, I destroy Dark Chaos, and deal damage equal to its ATK to you, Yuto!" He explains. Stranger Falcon gets ready to fire its cannons. "I can deal with that by just sending Fusion Parasite to the Graveyard and negate its destruction!" Yuto states as his hand was over his Duel Disk, but then his hand stops. "My hand?!" Yuto shocked. "I won't let you!" The real Yuto exclaims. Stranger Falcon fires it cannons, the real Yuto, in his subconscious, stop his controlled self. Dark Chaos was destroyed (Yuto's LP: 1000). Yuto then regains control "Shun!" He calls out. "Is that you, Yuto?" Kurosaki asked. "Shun, shoot me!" Yuto tells Kurosaki. Kurosaki nods "I attack Yuto directly with Raidraptor - Stranger Falcon!" He declares and Stranger Falcon attacks Yuto (Yuto's LP: 0). The force of the attack, blasted Yuto to the ground and lost consciousness. "Yuto!" Kurosaki calls out as he runs to Yuto. Kurosaki picks up Yuto "Yuto! Everything's fine now! I'm here for you!" He reassures Yuto.
"Interesting! How truly inersting!" The Doktor said. "This is quite some intriguing data I've collected!" He tell The Professor. "I can't wait around anymore, there's so much room for improvement!" The Doktor exclaims and leaves the throne room. The Professor just watches the Doktor leave.
Sawatari managed to climb back up, then someone appears, scaring Sawtari causing him to lost his grip, and almost made him fall again, but he quickly grabs the ledge and slowly pokes his head up to see Crow standing there. "I was looking for you, Sawatari!" Crow tells him. "What, it was just you. Crow? Don't scare me like that..." Sawatari said as he climbs up. Then Crow hears something behind him, and looks. He put his finger to his mouth to signal Sawatari to be quiet "Someone's there..." Crow tells him. Sawatari walks to Crow and the both of them looks around. Nearby in the bushes, the Unknown Duellist was watching them. Crow then gasped, then Ema and Jacob appeared. "There they are!" Ema exclaims. "Lancers" Jacob said. "So you were the guys who have been following me all this time?" Sawatari asked them. "Fine, we'll take you on" Crow states "DUEL!" all four Duellist cries out.
"This Super Ultra Hyper Strong Duellist, Shingo Sawatari, will go first! My turn!" Sawatari declares. "Intrusion Penalty: 2000 LP" A Voice declares, causing Sawatari to slip, and the other wondering who has enter their Duel. "Give me a break! I was about to show you the Great Super Ultra Hyper Strong Duellist's..." Sawatari exclaims. "N-No one's here...?" He asked as he looks around. "Maybe the Duel Disk's malfunctioning?" Ema wonders as she looks at her Duel Disk. "What?" Jacob asked as he looks at his Duel Disk. "There's no way that's it!" Crow states. "Who is it?! Where are you!? Show yourself!" HE demands. The unknown Duellist growls in the bushes.
