Hi Everyone Rosestar48 here! Today will have the Duel between Selena and Asuka, also will be looking into Selena's past.
The Glorious Machine Dragon
"In order to stop Academia's plot our Teacher, Yushou Sakaki, travelled across dimensions. He decided he would go in person to try and convince the Professor. I must allow Teacher to meet with the Professor. With that goal in mind we boarded a ship, only to be stopped by Dennis a member of Academia" Asuka narrates. "I will be the one to Duel you!" Kaito declares. "Kaito!" Yusho surprised to see his student. "Who are you?" Dennis asked. "Go! Neo Galaxy-Eyes! Cipher Stream of Eradication!" Kaito declares and Neo Galaxy-Eyes blasts a massive light stream at Dennis. Dennis was blasted off his feet (Dennis's LP: 0). "We defeated Dennis with the help of the Xyz Duellist, Kaito. And after figuring out the locations of the captured Yugo and Yuto we successfully infiltrated Academia" Asuka narrates. "I finally found you Sakaki-san!" Reiji exclaims when he, Reira and Sora catches up with Yusho and Asuka. "I won't let you go off on your own again like three years ago!" Reiji states. "Well this time I wasn't trying to hide from you guys in the first place" Yusho states. "Academia has grown too strong. In order to destroy it we must untie ou-" Reiji said. "Destroy it?" A voice interrupts and everyone turns to the voice. "I wonder about that…" The voice comments. Walking towards them was Selena with a sinister smile.
Selena chuckles "I'll turn all five of you into cards" She declares. "Yuzu-!" Yusho gasped. "I won't let you!" Asuka declares and she tackles Selena. "Asuka!" Yusho exclaims. Asuka holds Selena and looks at them, Sora gasped in realization. "I get it…we can use that-!" Sora states. He then runs to the wall and opens up a secret compartment and activates the fence to trap. "Hurry up and get going! Now!" Sora tells Yusho, Reiji and Reira. Yushou and Reiji nods to each other and walks off. Asuka keeps a hold on Selena as Reiji helps Yusho walks as the fence came down, Reria follow them but trips "Reira!" Reiji calls out. Reiji tries to get to Reira but the fence stops him, Reira gasped, Sora the pushes Reira out of the way trapping him between the fence, which disabled his Duel Disk. "Too bad for you, Sora Shiunin! These barricades interfere with Duel Disk communication! All you can do now is stand there and watch" Selena states. "I was planning on getting all five of you at once but, I'm fine with just two for now" She said. "After we met before I did some research on you. When you were still in Academia you were an exceptional Academia Honour Student weren't you? You took on every male Duellist who challenged you and didn't lose to a single one. To think I'll be able to Duel and turn such an Honour Student in to a card…! This is going to be fun…" Selena comments. "That girl is…?" Yusho asked. "She looks like Yuzu but it's very likely that she's Selena" Reiji states. "Selena?" Yusho asked. "Please go, Teacher! I'll hold off Selena! So please, get going! Teacher, you're the only one who can convince the Professor!" Asuka tells Yusho. "I got it, I'll go ahead then" Yusho understand. He and Reiji nods to each other, and with Reira walks off.
"Ah man, there they go!" Selena displease. "But oh well! I just need to quickly beat you and follow after them!" She states. "I won't let you get in our way!" Asuka declares. "Wow! Scary!" Selena mocks. "Hey, do you know what this is?" She asked as goes though her pocket and shows Asuka a deck. "Th-That's…!" Asuka gasped. "That's right! It's the special Deck given out to Honour Students like yourself!" Selena states. "You know about it don't you? All of the cards in it as well" She comments. "By the way this is the Deck I always use" She states as she held up her deck in her other hand. "So, which one do you want to beat you with?" Selena asked Asuka. "Are you serious!? Face me fair and square with the Deck you made yourself!" Asuka exclaims. "I figured you'd say that…So then…I'll be using the Honour Student Deck instead of mine!" Selena states as she puts her Deck away and removes the tape from the Honour Student Deck and insert it into her Duel Disk. Asuka activates her Duel Disk and Selena follows. "Well then, shall we begin?" Selena states. Sora watches thought the fences "DUEL!" Both Duellist cries out.
"I'll go first!" Asuka states. "I activate the Ritual Spell: Machine Angel Absolute Ritual!" She declares. "And I release the Level 5 Cyber Tutubon to…Ritual Summon!" Asuka states. "Angel of light with the power of healing! Bestow upon us your healing with your lovely figure! Descend! Level 5! Cyber Angel Natasha!" She chants (DEF: 1000). "On the turn Cyber Tutubon is released as material for a Ritual Summon, I can take one Ritual Spell from my Graveyard and put it in my hand" Asuka explains. "The card I add to my hand is Machine Angel Absolute Ritual!" She states. "This card has one more effect, and I'm activating it now!" Asuka declares. "By returning my Level 5 Cyber Tutubon to my Deck I can perform another Ritual Summon!" She states. "I Summon another Natasha!" Asuka declares (DEF: 1000). "Both of my Natasha's once per turn can select a monster I control and heal LP equal to half of the selected monster's ATK" Asuka explains as both Natasha put their hand in a pray and starts to glow (Asuka's LP: 5000). "So, what? You increase your LP and summoned two monsters with 1000 DEF and you're done?" Selena bored. "When there is a monster with the name "Cyber" on the field with Natasha it can negated any attack towards itself!" Asuka explains. "And with two monsters with those effects it will completely negate all of her attacks!" Sora states. "That's right. I end my turn" Asuka states.
"I see...So you've got your defense all set up? Looks like I'll have to try my hardest too" Selena comments. "Now then, it's my turn! My first draw from this Honour Student Deck!" She declares as she draws. Selena put the card in her hand "Hold on a second..." She said. "Huh? Wait...You really don't know about that Deck?" Asuka confused. Selena nods as she looks at her hand "I see...Then it's probably this first" She said. "I activate the Continuous Spell: Ancient Gear Fortress" Selena declares. Selena then looks at the card "Then next is..." She mutters as she read the card. "I activate the Spell Card: Ancient Gear Catapult!" Selena states. "And so... when I don't control any monsters Ancient Gear Catapult can destroy a face-up card I control" She reads the card's effect. "So, I destroy Ancient Gear Fortress!" She states. "She destroyed her own Continuous Spell already?!" Sora shocked. "It's because she's using a Deck she's not used to!" Asuka states. "No, I didn't mess up" Selena tells them. "By destroying a card with Ancient Gear Catapult I can Special Summon Ancient Gear Gadget from my Deck!" She explains (ATK: 500). "And when Ancient Gear Fortress is destroyed I can Special Summon Ancient Gear Wyvern from my Deck!" She adds (ATK: 1700). "Oh…? When Ancient Gear Wyvern is successfully Summoned or Special Summoned...It says I can add any Ancient Gear aside from this card to my hand from my Deck!" Selena states. "Well then...which one should I pick..." She wonders as she looks through the cards in her Deck. "Huh? What's this? Don't tell me this thing let's me play my trump card!" Selena surprised. "Trump card?" Sora confused. "It's coming...that one..." Asuka states.
"Let's get this started..." Selena states as a card pops out of her Deck and she adds Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon to her hand. "Ancient Gear Gadget can be treated as a Gadget monster once per turn" Selena explains. "I take the Ancient Gear Gadget, now being treated as Red Gadget and release it with my Ancient Gear Wyvern to perform an Advance Summon!" She declares. "Huh?!" Sora and Asuka gasped. "Come out! Level 9! Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon!" Selena calls out (ATK: 3000). "See, here it is! I told you I didn't make a mistake" She states. "There's no way she just Advance Summoned the honour Student Deck's trump card like that...! This girl!" Sora exclaims. "Battle! I attack Natasha with Reactor Dragon!" Selena declares. "I activate Natasha's effect!" Asuka declares. "If there is another monster with the name "Cyber" present it negates an attack towards itself!" She states as a barrier surrounds Natasha. "Oh yeah, that's right!" Selena gasped. "But it says here…when Reactor Dragon attacks, until the Damage Steps ends my opponent cannot activate monster effect, Spell or Trap Cards" She states. Asuka grits her teeth. "And there's another effect it has too…" Selena adds. "When this Dragon is Advance Summoned by releasing Ancient Gear monsters it deals piecing damage when attacking monsters in Defense Position!" She states. The attack continues and Natasha was destroyed (Asuka's LP: 3000). "To think I'm able to use a deck the first time this well, I really am a genius!" Selena boast. Asuka grunts.
"Oh hold on, my turn isn't over yet!" She tells Asuka. "When Reactor Dragon is Advanced Summoned by releasing Gadget it can attack twice!" Selena explains. "But our resident Honour Student Asuka already knew that much, right?" She comments. "And so, I attack Natasha with Reactor Dragon! And I deal piecing damage!" She declares and Reactor Dragon attacks and destroys the second Natasha (Asuka's LP: 1000). Asuka slam into the fence from the force of the blast, Sora gasped. "Oh how vexing...If I could just attack one more time this would be all over!" Selena said. "Oh well! I'll leave that fun for the next time! I set one card and end my turn" Selena states. "Now then, it's your turn. I'm in a hurry so try and make it quick, okay?" She tells Asuka. "Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry!" Selena chants. "Hurry...!" Rin thinks as she runs into a tunnel. "Hurry...! Hurry...!" Yuzu pants as she runs up some stairs. "Excuse me!" Yuzu asked the male student. The student stops and turns to Yuzu. "There should be a boy named Yuya here, do you know where he is?" Yuzu asked.
"Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up! Hurry up!" Selena chants. "You think I'll let it end like this?!" Asuka states. "My turn!" She declares and draws. "I activate the effect of Natasha from my Graveyard!" Asuka declares. "By banishing another card with the name "Cyber" I can Special Summon one Natasha!" She states as she banishes one copy of Natasha to Special Summon the other copy (DEF: 1000). "And with this effect I take control of one monster my opponent controls!" Asuka adds. "What?!" Selena gasped as Reactor Dragon went to Asuka's field. "Nice one! She stole a Dragon with 3000 ATK!" Sora exclaims. "You're horrible! You won't only take things away from Academia students...You'll even take my monsters as well!" Selena horrified. "You're one to talk! You need to learn how it feels, after you took away our dear friends and those precious things to us!" Asuka states. "Precious...things...?" Selena confused. "I activate Natasha's monster effect!" Asuka declares. "Once per turn Natasha's can select a monster I control and heal LP equal to half of the selected monster's ATK" She states as Natasha puts her hand in a pray and starts to glow. "I choose Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon!" she declares (Asuka's LP: 2500). "Reactor Dragon can attack twice! If she hit her with 3000 damage twice...!" Sora exclaims. "Battle! I make a detect attack on you with Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon!" Asuka declares. "And at this moment I activate the Trap Card: Unfinished Ancient Gear!" Selena declares. "With this effect I can Special Summon Ancient Gear Golem in Defense Position ignoring Summoning requirements!" She explains (DEF: 3000). "But the ATK and DEF of a monster summoned this way will be cut in half" She states (Ancient Gear Golem's DEF: 1500). "Pointless struggling!" Asuka states. "Then I'll attack Ancient Gear Golem with Reactor Dragon!" She declares and Reactor Dragon attacks Golem. "Monsters Special Summoned by Unfinished Ancient Gear cannot be destroyed in battle this turn!" Selena states. "But you'll take the piercing damage!" Asuka states and Selena was pushed back due to the force of the attack (Selena's LP: 2500). "And now the second attack!" Asuka declares and Reactor Dragon attacks Golem a second time, the force of the attack knocked Selena onto the floor (Selena's LP: 1000).
"This is pretty rough…But I still have my trump card…!" Selena mutters. "I won't let you use Fusion!" Asuka states. Selena looks at Asuka in shocked when she hears that. "In the past I also used to believe Academia was just. But now that I know the truth…!" Asuka explains.
(Flashback)
"I won't let anyone else be turned into a card again! Academia must be destroyed" Asuka declares as she remembers when the purple-haired girl was turned into a card.
(Flashback ends)
"This is my resolve! I won't use this anymore! And I won't let you use it either!" Asuka states as she holds up Polymerization. "I send the Spell Card: Polymerization from my hand to the Graveyard and activate the effect of the Continuous Spell: Fusion Destruction!" She declares. "Fusion Destruction!?" Selena shocked. "It checks my opponents Deck for any Polymerization cards or cards with "Fusion" and banish three of them dealing 300 damage for each one removed this way" Asuka explains. "Three of them?!" Selena exclaims. "You haven't used Polymerization once this Duel yet! So you should have three of them inside your Deck!" Asuka states. "Now, banish them!" She demands Selena and three cards pops out of Selena's Deck and she reveals them to be Polymerization. "And take the total of 900 damage!" Asuka declares. Selena was then thrown onto the floor again (Selena's LP: 100). "I end my turn here" Asuka states. "What have you done?" Selena question Asuka. "You not only steal my monsters…But you even took Fusion from me…!" She states. "That's what we have experienced up until now. We had our friends taken away from us and turned into cards. It's a horrible feeling. There's countless numbers of people across many worlds who feel it too!" Asuka states. Selena gasped. "That pain of losing something important…Do you finally understand it now?" Asuka asked Selena. "Something...important…"Selena whisper and starts to shivers. "Looks like you finally get it" Asuka states. "Yeah…I never thought it hurt this much…" Selena said. Asuka walks to Selena "Now that you understand this pain…Maybe you could become friends with us" Asuka tells Selena. Selena continues to shiver. "If you muster up the courage you can make it out of here too! Away from Academia" Asuka states and offers her hand to Selena."Make it out…of Academia?" Selena question.
(Flashback)
A young Selena had just defeated a Yellow-jacket male student "From as far back as I remember I was a student at Academia, I didn't know my family and didn't have any friends. The only moments I spent time with other people was during Duels" Selena states as she remembers the other Academia student being scared of her. Selena was sat on one of the benches "Beating my opponents in a Duel was fun" Selena states. Then some Students ran past Selena and she turn to see where they were going. "But…I was too strong and I became hated…and eventually no one wanted to come near me" She states as the Young Selena saw a Young Asuka in a middle of a group, smiling. "It was then, the person called the Professor reached out to me" Selena states as a Young Yuri and Professor came to her. "Professor told me that if the ARC Area Project started I'd be able to Duel as much as I wanted! And I can turn the people that lose into cards" Selena states as she remember being in the throne room with the Professor, showing her the ARC Area Project plans, Selena smiles.

"Just doing that alone was fun for me. And the Professor was happy with me, the more people I turned into cards" Selena states. The Professor was watching them though a screen. "But you know...I don't really care about that anymore. Now I'm...Doing it because I want to and I have fun turning them into cards!" Selena states. The Professor gasped when he hears that. "And from now on too!" She declares. "Hold on! If you keep that up then you won't be able to make any friends! If you turn everyone into a card there won't be anyone left...You'd be the only person left in the world!" Asuka tells her. "The only person left in the world?" Selena repeats. "I like the sound of that...That means I'd be the strongest wouldn't it?!" She comments. Asuka gasped in shocked and slowly backs away from Selena. "Now then, shall we continue?" Selena asked.
"My turn!" She declares and draws. "I activate the Spell Card: Ancient Gear Workshop!" Selena said. "I return a card with the name "Ancient Gear" to my hand; I return Ancient Gear Wyvern to my hand and Summon it!" She states (ATK: 1700). "Ancient Gear Wyvern is successfully Summoned or Special Summoned, I can add any Ancient Gear aside from this card to my hand from my Deck!" Selena explains as a card pops out of her Deck. "I add Ancient Gear Box to my hand and I send this card to the Graveyard...To activate the Quick-Play Spell: Super Polymerization!" Selena declares. "Super Polymerization?!" Sora shocked. "Why do you have that card?!" Asuka asked. "That card shouldn't be in that Deck...!" She states. Selena laughs "Why!? Because I put it in there obviously!" She states. "Wait, don't tell me you actually thought I used this Deck without knowing what cards were in it?!" She asked Asuka. "Oh and by the way, this was in my hand from the start so that's why you couldn't banish it from my Deck!" Selena points out. "From the start...You trick me?!" Asuka exclaims. "You really an Honour Student! You're really...Honest to a fault!" Selena states. Asuka got annoyed with Selena's antics. "Super Polymerization allows me to perform a Fusion using my own and my opponent's monsters as material!" Selena explains. "I'll have you sacrifice that monster you stole from me" She states. "B-But the effect of the Continuous Spell: Fusion Destruction negates the activations of cards with the word "Fusion"..." Asuka states. "You're wasting your breath! In response to the activation of Super Polymerization no other cards effect can be activated!" Selena states. Asuka gasped in shocked. "I fuse Ancient Gear Golem, Ancient Gear Wyvern and the Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon you control...!" Selena declares. "Ancient giant...Dragon that soars across the heavens...Dragon that shines from the abyss...Become one and display your enormous power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Level 10! Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!" She chants (ATK: 4400).
"An ATK of 4400?!" Asuka gasped in shocked. Selena laughs and Asuka grits her teeth. "Too bad, but...Looks like we won't be friends after all" Selena states. "You didn't even want to from the start!" Asuka states. Selena chuckles "Battle! I attack Cyber Angel Natasha with Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!" She declares. "Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem deals piercing damage!" Selena states. "It's over!" She declares and Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem attacks and destroyed Natasha, Asuka was blasted back by the attack and crashed into the fence (Asuka's LP: 0), Asuka falls down onto the ground face-down. Sora gasped in shocked. Asuka groans "I'm nothing unless I can turn people into cards…Just like breathing…Thank to you I've realized I have a dream now…"Selena states. Asuka gasped as she looks at Selena. "Everyone in the world…no…To turn everyone from every dimension into cards!" Selena declares as she briefly awakened, causing a demonic aura to emerge from her body. "You…!" Asuka gasped. Yuri activates Human Sealing Technology on her Duel Disk "No!" Asuka scream as she was turned into a card. The Professor gasped in horror went Selena wishes to seal everyone in all dimensions into cards to prove that she was the strongest, and stands up when Asuka was turned into a card.
"Thank you. Honour Student Asuka" Selena said to Asuka's card. "Now then, next is…" She states as she turns to Sora. Then the fence went up "Huh?! Why!?" Sora confused. "Oh that's right; I forgot to mention…I actually have control of these systems too. So I was pretending that you had me trapped! Got it?" Selena tells him. "Because it's not fun without an audience, right?" She states and laughs. "You…!" Sora annoyed. "Now then, it's time for your execution! Sora Shiunin!" Selena declares.
On the staircase "If you're looking for Yuya he should be up at the Experiment Tower" The male student tell Yuzu as he point her the way. "Thank you!" Yuzu and runs off. The male student then smiles evilly as Yuzu leaves. "Yuya!" Yuzu calls out as she runs up the stairs.
