This is just a list of mistakes made in various battles and whether or not the result should change because of it.

Cole MacGrath VS Starkiller (Infamous VS Star Wars)

One of my earlier outings, before my effort and help, and it shows. The problem isn't so much the info, mostly, but rather the result.

Does this change the result?

This should've been a win for Cole. Later on I worked on Alex Mercer VS Cole McGrath and found Cole was so much more powerful than imagined. Being able to overpower a creature capable of blasting a hole in the moon certainly outmatches anything Starkiller ever accomplished. Even bringing down that Star Destroyer is nothing to Cole's power. And even then, Starkiller struggled to bring it down in the first place so it's clearly his absolute limit. Even with all the powers the force provides Starkiller, none of them make up for the drastic difference in speed, power, durability, and versatility. And with the ability to absorb most of Starkiller's attacks, it would be an easy win for Cole that bias got in the way of.

Alex Mercer VS Carnage (Prototype VS Marvel)

"Carnage can suck the life out of beings." Man I wish I could remember what I was smoking when I made that. That statement was based on sheer memory of Carnage doing that in the Spider-Man show with the Carnage level from Shattered Dimensions as some backing up. First off, Carnage sucking the life out of people was a temporary power bestowed to him that was later lost. This power never showed up in the comics, and was never brought back. And that level in Shattered Dimensions was a result of Carnage slaughtering thousands and spreading his symbiote and control across them. He didn't suck the life of them or anything.

Does this change the result?

Yes, Alex may have limited regeneration abilities, as later found out in Alex Mercer VS Cole MacGrath, but said limits from requiring other organisms to absorb. And since the symbiote's attacks in their entirety are said organism, Alex could absorb them and keep healing and progressively becoming more powerful. Eventually, Carnage wouldn't even be able to hold his own and would only be a matter of time before being brought down. And since Carnage has no lightning or any kind, he can't even really hurt Alex.

Crash VS Spyro

I did not include Legend of Spyro because I knew it would be too much. But not putting Spyro at his full potential was breaking the rules of these battles. There is technically no such thing as a fair fight, as one character will be more likely to win no matter what. And if they happen to be miles more powerful than the enemy, then that's just the way it is. Besides, I heavily underestimated Crash back then. He could put up a fight, even against Legend's Spyro.

Does this change the result?

Yes, but only in that The Legend of Spyro wasn't included. Classic Spyro has no comparable durability or power feats to his Legend's counterpart, so he couldn't hurt Crash badly at all. Without it, Crash would win. But since we're looking at them at their full potential, The Legend of Spyro should be included and thus Spyro would win.

Rouge VS Sly (Sonic VS Sly Cooper)

Saying Rouge was on Knuckles' level and assuming the miny quake she creates in SA2 multiplayer (which isn't canon to begin with) were foolish. She's just good enough to break through metal with one kick. Sure, this still gives her the strength advantage as Sly requires multiple strikes to break metal, but it isn't by much.

Does this change the result?

Nope, Rouge may be stronger and faster, but she does not have the means of hurting Sly that badly as he's taken hits from stronger opponents before. He even had his van crash on top of him, and he was perfectly fine. And since Sly is older, more experienced, smarter, and has way more versatility on his side, he has the perfect means of working around Rouge.

Robotboy VS Jenny Wakemen (Robotboy VS My Life as a Teenage Robot)

Many estimations were made with no real evidence. Like how Jenny was FTL without really taking into consideration the actual distance to time she made or getting specifics. Later on, I reanalyzed on my own time and found Jenny is several hundred times stronger, thousands of times faster, and packing way more versatility. Robotboy is more durable, but his lack of power and inability to push his limits for longer than a few minutes severely limit his time.

Does this change the result?

No, for the reasons already stated.

Ghost Rider VS Spawn (Marvel VS Image)

Ghost Rider was heavily underestimated, and his Penance Stare was not properly analyzed.

Does this change the result?

Nope, because everything else still applies. And since Ghost Rider is far more powerful than initially imagined, this only promotes his victory.

Darkseid VS Thanos (DC VS Marvel)

I failed to properly analyze Darkseid's true form, and what it actually means. And the difference in speed wasn't truly taken into account.

Does this change the result?

No, I also reanalyzed it later and got something much closer to the official battle. But even then, I still didn't fully understand Darkseid's true form. Well, to make up for it, Brainiac is coming in the next batch of battles. And as a quick spoiler, he has a similar situation to Darkseid. Who's he fighting, here's the possible song name as a hint. Power or Knowledge?

K. Rool VS Ridley (Donkey Kong VS Metroid)

As already put in the doc itself, there was a huge error the power and durability of King K. Rool. In reality, he is several thousands and even millions of times more powerful and generally tougher as D.K.'s moon feat places him at a level far beyond just Island Level like Ridley is at.

Does this change the result?

Maybe, K. Rool could win if he got a single hit. However, Ridley's speed, maneuverability, general range, fair amount of power, and intelligence could easily avoid this entirely. And K. Rool's weaponry still doesn't quite match up well to Ridley's fewer, but more efficient options.

Rock Lee VS Sanji (Naruto VS One Piece)/All Might VS Might Guy Prediction (My Hero Academia VS Naruto)

The result was judged solely under the assumption that 7th Gate was the highest could go to get a win due to the drastic consequences of the 8th Gate. However, after Might Guy VS All Might, I myself have been convinced that the 8th Gate is fair game for a win. Haven't talked to the others about it, but I personally believe that it should've been included.

Does this change the result?

And with that said, Rock Lee could win this anyways. While I do still believe 7th Gate Lee could be outlasted by Sanji, 8th Gate might be more than he can handle. If Lee is anywhere on Guy's level at the 8th Gate, nothing in One Piece even compares to the might of the 8th Gate. Granted, Lee hasn't used the 8th Gate ever and doesn't have much evidence to say that he can use it, but I believe if Guy taught him how to open the other Gates then he probably should know that one too. But even with all that speed and power, Sanji's precognition has allowed him to keep pace with fighters much faster than himself in the past. And the fact still remains that Lee takes damage while using the Gates, so Sanji could take advantage of this and remain at peak condition no matter what. And with his other Haki uses, he does have means of dealing with Rock Lee's impressive array of abilities. If I have to make a decision, I'll just stick to Sanji given his great defensive game countering the style of fighting Lee has to use. On a similar note, the All Might VS Might Guy prediction has pretty much the same issue except the result is much more clear cut. Guy doesn't even need the 8th Gate to win, letting him use it pretty just solidified his victory as All Might did not have the means of keeping up. And another mistake in not assuming All Might should be in his Prime given the rule of using fighters at their fullest potential so long as they are confirmed to have reached said potential in their life.

Joker VS Giorno (JoJo VS Persona 5)

Not so much a mistake, but rather should've been mentioned. In the brief rundown section, that could've had more effort put into it, there was a brief mention of a god that Joker had to fight in Persona 5. This being attempted to wipe Joker from existence but failed to as the aid of his friends gave him the willpower to resist it. This implies that Joker could possibly be able to resist reality warping.

Does this change the result?

No, not at all. The kind of reality warping Joker resisted was different from Gold Experience Requiem's Return to Zero ability. Joker could only resist being erased while Giorno would be reversing all of time. And even then, it was only a resist and not a straight up immunity. The two powers are completely separate from each other and do not automatically correlate. For example, while someone like Green Lantern could resist reality warping on a similar calibur, he was not immune to time manipulation tactics and was actually vulnerable to them. And since Joker needed the encouragement of his friends, it's questionable whether he was actually capable of pulling this off on his own. Furthermore, Joker's Personas at their best could take down gods, but none of them had special properties to wipe out GER. And even if they did, a universal time destruction ability was not enough to stop Giorno's stand. Giorno wins simply due to his great hax, broken defense, incredible intelligence, greater longevity, and comparable speed.

Deku VS Miles Morales (My Hero Academia VS Marvel)

It was said that Deku's full strength couldn't kill Miles. I'm an idiot to make that assumption and wished I had watched MHA for the sake of that fight instead of waiting til later for Zuko VS Todoroki. Of course Deku could kill Miles if he hit him with his full power. Even 20% of his power could probably do major damage to Miles.

Does this change the result?

Not yet, as Deku doesn't have the speed or durability necessary to beat out Miles' various advantages. The biggest advantage going for Miles here are his large assortment of options. His webbing gives him range and ways of incapacitating Deku, his electric shocks can slow him down and do damage, and his invisibility is a great get out of jail free card. And while Deku is quick, he isn't fast enough to beat out Miles' reaction time and the precognition from Spidey-Sense. So while Deku can kill Miles, he doesn't have the speed or versatility to pull it off.

Joseph VS Trevor (JoJo VS Castlevania)

After rewatching the Castlevania series with my brother I noticed something I didn't before. When the cyclops fired it eye laser, Trevor did realize it was coming and jumped out of the way before it hit beneath his feat. And since it does appear to be a real laser, Trevor should be somewhere near light speed reactions just like Joseph.

Does this change the result?

No, Joseph reacted to Silver Chariot's strike when it just started when Trevor just barely avoided the beam. So it seems Joseph's reaction speeds are closer to light speed than Trevor's. And every other advantage and point made still applies, including Joseph's better strength, experience, and general might with Hamon. And with less reliance on tools, Joseph was better prepared for a one on one.
