(A couple weeks later)
Lucy sat alone on a candy cane tree, headphones over her head blaring music, while she monitored camera footage for her traps. Her plan to make the playable racers unpopular was starting to fail, so much so she had to manually control the traps from her iPad to hopefully hit the racers.
The racers turned this into some sort of game, and worst of all, the players loved these new obstacles.
"This sucks, how can I make this game unpopular if the gamers love my traps?" Lucy asked herself
Another day of racing ended and all the racers began heading off from the track. Lucy went to some of the terminators and opened the backs of their heads.
"You guys will need to start being more athletic on the racers" said Lucy
She reprogrammed some information in their heads and shut them down for the night before checking her acidic pie catapults and cannons. Pies she got from killer space clowns just weren't enough anymore, so she replaced the pies with cherry bombs, as well as set up new traps with her karts personal weapon, sour rockets, which could dissolve karts away like the pies could. Proud of her work, Lucy went home, eagerly awaiting the next day.
At the track the next day, Lucy as usual began selling her treats and baked goods, selling to just about everyone who wanted something. Kevin meanwhile was talking to his friend Jr by his kart.
"I'm worried for Lucy, something's bothering her" said Kevin
"Vot makes you say zat?" Jr asked
"There's her twitching for starters. And I've heard her mumble crazy things when she's baking. She's not having fun at all baking, she hates doing this" said Kevin
"Zen Vy does she bake if she hates it?" Jr asked
"Because she doesn't have a choice, no one wants to play as her nor does anyone want her here. This is the safest way for her to make money" said Kevin
"By Ze vay, vere does she go anyvay after she sells out all her goods?" Jr asked
"I don't know. She tells me being alone in the forest helps clear her mind or something. When lucys angry or frustrated it's best she's left alone" Said Kevin
"Ve better get ready, game vill start soon" Said Jr
"Your sister racing today?" Kevin asked
"Christie said she had somezing to do. Norvilles also busy" Said Jr
Soon enough, Lucy sold out of her treats and drove off as she usually did, but she wasn't unnoticed. Hidden in the trees, norville and Christie followed. First Lucy went into a nearby town towards a dry cleaners, nothing seemed odd at first, but they saw Lucy was picking up several different colored racing outfits, similar to her mystery racer outfit.
"Vy does she have so many?" Norville asked himself
"I'm worried for her bro" Said Christie
"Aw man this one still has a chocolate stain on it" Lucy complained
"That's a new stain, you're eating chocolate right now" the dry cleaner argued
Lucy looked down and much to her embarrassment, she was eating a chocolate bar.
"Oh, well can you get this out? I'll wait" Said Lucy
"What do you need this many outfits for?" The dry cleaner asked
"That's none of your business" Lucy shouted before leaving with all but one of her outfits
The 2 siblings followed Lucy to diet cola mountain, but when they got inside, they saw she wasn't there, there was no evidence she was inside.
"Vhere did she go?" Christie asked
"Lucys becoming stranger every minute. I don't know vy but I have a feeling she's gonna mess vith ze track, I'm gonna go monitor ze races" Said Norville
"I'll join you soon, I'm gonna look around first" Said Christie
Norville teleported away, leaving Christie alone. She looked around the mountain, and saw something on the mentos stalactites on the ceiling. They seemed to have dynamite on them, which confused her. Looking around more, she found lucys purse hidden, lying around unattended. Christie took a seat and unzipped the bag, seeing if there was anything to describe lucys condition inside.
At first she saw pieces of paper with different names of games on them, each describing possible places to live, why Lucy needed that she didn't know yet. She found receipts for the explosives which also confused her, what was Lucy doing? She next pulled out lucys diary with a bookmark in a certain spot. She froze off the lock and looked to see what was there, but as she began reading, she grew concerned and scared, she had to warn her brothers. She threw everything back in the purse and threw it over her shoulder, before running towards the exit, but out of nowhere Lucy popped up.
"Going somewhere, friend?" Lucy asked in a dark voice "and with my purse?"
Christie raised her arms to attack Lucy, but before anything could be done, she felt something sharp hit her neck. She pulled a dart out of her neck and began feeling dizzy. She collapsed on the ground. Lucy pulled her purse towards her and threw it over her shoulder.
"You'll never understand how I feel Christie, gamers like you. You're popular"
