An Update On...Well, Me.

Holy hell guys, it has been...what, almost two years since I've last uploaded anything? I haven't even noticed that it had been that long. So...let me explain a few things...

First off, I am...not dead. So let's get that one out of the way lol.

But seriously, A little over two years ago as I believe I may have mentioned once before in a little update like this, I had a little girl and she is just the absolutely best thing ever.

On that note, I worked a lot more time over at my job during the first few months to a year, just to have a little extra in the bank to get by with all the baby stuff. I finally got my own place now as well (Like an actual house now, yay! :D)

With all that being said, my daughter isn't solely why I haven't written at all.

After a few months of her being born, when I was still writing (even though I hadn't uploaded much, I was still writing a good bit) I had bought a new case for my computer, you know, a good new fancy one that I had beeen eyeing for a while lol. Anyways, as I was taking everything out of my old pc and putting it all inside of my new one, when I was going to plug in my hard drive...I BROKE THE GODDAMN SATA PORT CONNECTOR.

For those of you who may not know exactly what that means, it means that the little piece on the hard drive that supplies power to it to turn it on, FUCKING BROKE OFF COMPLETELY.

Although you all probably don't know; and I'd assume you don't because I never uploaded them; I had not only had about five or six more chapters already written out for the current story I've been on, but I also had about ten or twelve chapters written for that story I had mentioned to you all that I was going to write when AVUJ had ended. Yeah, the one with them all going to college and all? Completely lost. Those six chapters I had written and ready to upload whenever I wanted for the current story? Lost. The two other stories I had started out on that I wanted to keep a secret for a bit, they both had about ten or twelve chapters written for them too but guess what? Yup.

GONE.

All of that hard work, gone in an instant because of a little tiny fucking port on the hard drive broke. I have no way to recover ANYTHING I had on that drive at all. BECAUSE THE DAMN PORT IS LITERALLY BROKE OFF. I cant plug shit into it.

I was so pissed off when I realized that I literally lost everything on that drive, including all my stories. I had written all that extra, that way when I finally DID start uploading again, I had extra chapters already at the ready to be uploaded periodically, maybe like once every two weeks or so (In case I was ever super busy with work or my little girl and couldn't actually write much...which I was a lot at first lol) And then just...to have it all gone just like that.

So I gave up.

That's literally it. I gave up. I was like fuck it, I'm just not gonna write anymore...because I literally had no motivation anymore. It just wasn't there after that happened.

So with all of THAT being said, I'm back to let you guys know...well pretty much everything that I just said. But the reason I was actually letting you know is beacuse for a while now, honestly, I have really been wanting to write again. Like...I truly miss it. I miss hearing from you guys, new people and the ones who've been here since day one. I honestly genuinely miss hearing from you all.

So basically, yes. I am 100% going to start writing again, but I can't say how often exactly because I don't know. I work 12 hours a day for 14 days at a time, and when I'm home I'm usually super tired and just want to shower and go to bed. But truthfully, even through all that I've felt myself wanting to come back to this many times. I honestly miss sitting at my computer, writing for hours at a time sometimes, uploading my shit at like 4 or 5 in the morning sometimes lol.

I've already begun writing again actually, thanks to my good friend, who is also the one who draws all my fanart, for the extra motivation. (she does a really good job guys, soulhuntress_indielyn is her insta, give her a follow if you want some fanart!) But just like before, I'm going to get a little ahead, or as much as I can at least before I actually release the next chapter. I'm also going to rewrite the pokemon one with them all in college again as well on the side, so hopefully soon enough, I'll also put that one up as well while I'm still doing this one.

Just bear with me guys, as I said I'm not going away, just have to deal with waiting a tad bit longer is all lol. Hopefully not two years this time XD
