Bella and Lilly let out a long sigh of relief and bliss as they both sank into the warm waters of the royal bath. The maids carefully scrubbed Bella's body clean, being sure to remove every last speck of dirt and dried blood. After that, Bella was then taken to another room to have her more serious wounds treated. Lilly was to wait outside the room while Bella was in there. Another pair of maids walked in. Both of them were elves. Using their magic, they healed the old elf's wounds and bandaged up what could not be fully restored. Bella thanked them from the bottom of her heart. She didn't know if she could go on any longer.

"We are sorry about what had happened to you. It must have been terrible being in that castle, being treated the way you were." The maids bowed after finishing up their work.

"Thank you, but it's Lilly that I'm more worried about." Bella started. "She grew up in that place since birth, and now she's…" The elf couldn't finish her sentence.

"Is that a permanent effect?" One of the maids asked.

"As far as I know, but Draegor did say he was going to find a way to restore her." Bella added on, hopeful. The maids nodded in unison. "Forgive me for asking, but are you treated well here?" The elder elf asked.

"Don't worry, dear. We are happy to work for our King and Queen." The maids smiled a sincere smile.

"Good. I just wanted to know."

After finishing up with the recovery, the maids left and returned with a new set of clothes for Bella. A fine fit and flexible, Bella was unwilling to accept such nice garbs, but the maids insisted.

"This is too much." Bella declared.

"Please accept it. It is of no lose to us." The maids pressed.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course."

Bella sighed. "Again, thank you."

The maids smiled.

Finally cleaned and clothed, Bella was escorted by the maids with Lilly to the throne room to meet back up with Draegor. When they arrived, Draegor and the King were deep in discussion, but Bella was unsure of what they were talking about, and they had just finished, or stopped, when they walked in.

"Ah, Bella. I see you have been taken care of, yes?" Draegor asked.

"I have indeed. They did a wonderful job." Bella affirmed. The maids bowed and saw themselves out of the room.

"Excellent. We will be leaving shortly." Draegor began, causing Lilly to fade away, but just then the doors of the throne room slammed open.

Orchid stood in the entrance with a fiery expression. "Draegor!" She shouted. "I challenge you to a Duel!"
