Welcome to Chapter Seventy Six. The next couple of chapters are going to be a bit of filler because they are away on their European Tour. So I hope you enjoy them. I really liked this chapter.
European Tour Tuesday: May 13, 2014
Angel let out a yawn as she shifted in the chair that she had been sitting in for the last half an hour, while they waited to board their plane. She couldn't believe she let the boys keep her out as long as they had. She knew that this would happen, that she would be this tired. She really did try to tell them no that she didn't want to stay out that long. But just a smirk and a longing look from Dean and she was putty in their hands.
"Looks like someone should have gone to bed earlier." Roman chuckled.
"Well maybe if three lug heads weren't egging me on to stay and have a few more drinks, I would have." She glared at him.
A chuckle came from the man beside her. "You could have said no."
She turned towards him. "Oh no, don't blame this on me…"
Dean leaned against her shoulder. "Don't worry Darlin' you can always sleep on the plane."
That was for sure. With an almost twenty-hour flight, she was most certainly going to sleep. She would sleep, have lunch, and dinner on the plane. God she was glad that they got business class for this flight, just the little bit more leg room made it a bit better. Thank you, Dean.
While Roman and Seth had payed for their own tickets, Dean grabbed his and her and he decided to splurge on business class seats right next to each other.
"Now boarding…" The almost robotic voice called over the speakers.
"You ready?" Dean asked as they stood up and grabbed their bags.
A small bit of excitement rushed through Angel's tired body as she nodded her head. This was her first time flying out of country. In fact, this was her first time out of the country at all.
Slowly, they made their way to the gate and got into the long line of people, some of them were WWE Superstars and some were just normal folk. Which she realized that all the normal folk were giving all the WWE people weird looks.
She couldn't blame them however, every time Seth, Roman and Dean flew they lick to get as comfy as possible, most of the time that meant either shorts or sweatpants and hoodies. Which against their big builds and intense faces was a bit off putting.
"Finally." Dean slumped into his seat after placing their carry-on bags overhead. He then gave a crack of his neck and turned towards her with a cheesy smile. "This thing is softer than my bed at home."
Angel chuckled but shook her head. "I wouldn't say that."
"Eh, it's close." He settled into the seat, stretching his legs out. She watched him as he discovered all the buttons and switches on his chair. He clearly didn't splurge for the business class very often. Which came more clear when his eyes drifted down. "What the hell is that." He pointed to the bag of amenities next to him.
"Just some random stuff they think you'll need on your trip."
His brow rose as he grabbed the thing and unzipped it. "Lotion?" He questioned. "Toothpaste, toothbrush, a hair tire, perfume?"
"Have you never sat in business class before?" She asked.
This was all new to her, but she hadn't flown overseas for work before. Dean on the other hand had a bunch of times.
He shook his hand. "Just never noticed that they give you free shit up here." He scrunched up is nose as he smelt the lotion.
She let out a chuckle as she settled into her while the flight attendants started the safety course.
Halfway through, Dean leaned over into her seat and sighed. "Does anyone really pay attention to this shit?" He whispered. "If you've been on a flight you've already seen this show."
"Sh." She tired to hide the smile that was working its way onto her face. "It's important."
"You mean boring? You can use your seat as a flotation device in case of a water landing…. Just say if we crash into the ocean grab your seats and hold on."
"Dean."
"What?"
"Shush."
He let out on overexaggerated sigh and flopped back fully into his seat. "Fine." After a few moments of huffs, she heard Dean mumble to himself as he shifted in seat. "You have to admit that it's pretty boring." He said holding out a packet of slightly smushed gum.
She sighed as she took a piece. "It's almost over."
"So, are you going to hit the sack right away or…?"
Realizing she wasn't going to get him to be quiet, she answered him. "Yeah, I'm going to get some sleep and maybe watch a movie or read the book a brought."
Dean nodded as he popped his gum and looked around. A puzzling look came to his face as he back towards her. "Is that lady glaring at me."
Angel looked around him and looked at the older lady in the pant suit. "She is."
"What her problem?" He laughed.
"Probably that you're talking during the safety speech."
"Oh of, is her favorite thing in the world the safety speech. 'I don't know what it is but that safety speech really butters my toes'" Dean changed his voice to try to sound like a old lady.
Angel bit her lip to stop herself from laughing. "Frist of all, rude. Second, 'butter my toes'?"
"What? Should I have gone with 'salted my biscuits'?"
She couldn't stop it quick enough as a loud chuckled busted out of her making everyone even the flight attendant to look at her. Her face went bright red as she sank in the chair. Her eyes glanced up at Dean who was laughing in his seat.
She elbowed him in the side, which only made him laugh more.
…
When the unbuckle sign finally came up, Angel almost instantly leaned her chair back and grabbed the small pillow and blanket that the plane gave them before immediately passing out.
She didn't know how long she was asleep, when she felt herself being shook slightly. Blinking a few times, she let out another yawn and turned to see Dean looking at her. "Huh?"
"Their taking orders for lunch." He told her. "I didn't know if you wanted anything."
"Oh, thanks." She yawned again as she pushed the button to straighten her chair. After readjusting herself in the seat she reached forward and grabbed the menu that sat in the little cubby that also held her amenity bag.
"Sleep well?" Dean mumbled as he looked over his menu.
She nodded her head. "I did."
"I could tell." He glanced over her.
"How?"
A smirk came to his face as he grabbed his phone and showed her his new background picture. Her eyes widened as she saw the picture of herself curled up in a ball with her arms over her head and her mouth slightly open.
"Delete that."
"Nah."
"Dean."
"Sh…people are sleeping."
"Delete that now." She told him reaching for his phone.
He moved it out of her reach and looked down at his menu with ease. "So, what looks good."
Sighing, Angel gave up. "So, did you send it to Roman and Seth yet?"
"Yep." He smirked as he popped his gum.
She shook her head.
…
After lunch, Angel pulled out the book she brought with her, snuggled in her seat and started reading. Halfway through the third page, a gum wrapper hit her in the cheek.
Rolling her eyes, she grabbed the wadded-up piece of tinfoil and tossed back at the man next to her. She heard him chuckle as she went back to reading only to be hit in the face by the same wrapper again.
"Bored?" She glanced at Dean.
"What gave you that idea?"
…
Rubbing her eyes, she tried to finish the chapter she was reading when she heard a light snore come from beside her. A smile came to her face as she turned to look at the man beside her who sleeping sitting upright, his head lolled towards the side as he listened to the movie that he had put on.
She shook her head at him before turning her attention back to her book; when an idea popped into her head. Quickly she pulled out her phone and shifted in her seat so that she could get the best angle and took the picture.
Payback. She smirked as she sent the photo to both Seth and Roman, before setting it as her background on her phone.
…
"Where the fuck…" Dean's dazed voice hit her, making her pull her headphones out of her ear.
"You ok?" She asked as she watched him fidget around in his seat.
A groan came form him as he gave his neck a crack and rolled his shoulder. "I hate sleeping on planes. It makes me stiff."
"Maybe if you actually put your chair down in the bed mode it wouldn't be so bad." She told him. "Or at least use the neck pillow."
Dean shrugged as he leaned over and looked the movie she was watching. "Fast and the Furious?"
Angel glanced at the screen in front of her just as the scene were Brain and Dom pull up to Dom's house in the taxi after Brain's car blew up. "Something wrong with the Fast and the Furious?"
"Not at all, love it." He smirked. "Because the buster kept me out of handcuff, he didn't just run back to the fort, the buster brought me back." He recited the line that played through her headphone. "You can have any brew you want as long as it's a Corona."
Angel bit her lip. She had always loved the character Dom Toretto and to hear Dean quoting him was a strange fantasy that she couldn't understand. "You ever think of acting?" She cleared her throat.
"Me?" He snickered. "Nah."
"Oh, come on." She nudged him. "I could see you, Dean Ambrose in the next Fast and the Furious."
"Yeah as a random mechanic in the background." He answered.
…
"Did you really send a picture of me sleeping to Seth and Roman?" Dean sighed as he looked at his phone.
"You did it first."
"Let me see it." She smirked as she showed him her home screen. "Shit I look like a mess, why would you even want that on your phone?"
"Why do you have a picture of me sleeping on yours."
"Because you look cute sleeping."
She blushed.
D.D.D
"Freedom!" Dean sighed as they got out of the plane, making everyone laugh at him. Though he didn't care. All he cared about was the fact that he was able to move again. Twenty Hours in the air, not able to move around… his personal hell.
Trying to ease the need to move and the claustrophobic feeling that rushed his body, he started to bounce on his heels with each step.
"Dude, you're going to jump out of your skin." Roman chuckled.
"Well, it's either that or I'm going to peel it off with my own nails." Dean sighed as he rubbed his collar.
"Oh my god! The Shield." A high pitch squeal echoed through the airport making all four of them stop and look up. A heavy sigh surrounded them as they saw a group of girls racing towards them.
"Here we go." Seth said as they stepped out of the way and dropped their carry-on to the floor. Dean loved his fans really did. Would do anything for them because with out them there would be no him. But there was something about fan waiting for them at the airport that always bothered him.
"Oh. My. God!" One of them called as she fanned her face. "We're huge fans." They said with their accents thick.
As the five girls got closer, Dean couldn't help but notice as one of them, the blond with a bun on top her head and a very small shirt, pushed her way passed Angel. Practically knocking her out of the way.
He was just about to reach for her, when Angel caught her footing and stepped backwards to look at them in awe. As she looked at the girls that had surrounded them, she didn't seem angry, in fact she seemed ok with everything that was happening.
Which at least mad one of them as the blond scootered herself as close as possible to him, with a bright cheeky smile on her face. "We're so excited that you're here!" She said jumping on her feet. "We've spent all night making our signs for tonight's show."
"Cool." Roman nodded as the girls looked at each other and giggled. "Where are you ladies sitting?" Mr. Smooth asked. "We'll keep an eye out for you."
The women tired their hardest to explain where they were sitting but to him it sounded like a jumbled mess. One said in the middle, another said camera side, while finally one of them said six a- seats a through e. Which would have been great if he knew where the hell that was. They didn't care much for the seating arrangement, as long as they had a path to get to the ring in they were fine.
As the girls giggled, the blond, seemed to have something on her mind. He cocked his head as her as suddenly lurched forward. Her hands and face landing right on his chest.
Sighing, Dean glanced down at the woman who was gripping onto him. "Sorry, I'm just a kultz in heels." She said gesturing down to her shoes.
"Ah…" He fought to not roll his eyes as he heard the girls around her whispering to each other about how 'she actually did it'. Welp, this wasn't the first time someone pulled this crap on him. At one time he might have been into the woman, might have taken the moment to get a fistful of ass but now, now he couldn't care less.
"You should be careful then." He pushed her away a bit, probably rougher than he should be with a fan.
Taking a moment to look over at Angel, who was now fiddling with something in her bag. A half smile came to his face. He had something better now. Something better then a ring rat who was willing to throw themselves at him, literally.
"Shoot!" Angel spot up as she glanced at the wad of papers that she had pulled of her bag. She turned towards them and sighed. "I hate to be rude, but we really need to get going. We have a tight schedule to keep." She waved the papers around.
"Sorry gals." Seth flashed them a smile. "Duty calls."
The girls whined but did take a step back. Well all but the blond. She instead took another step closer. "It was really nice to meet you." She grew her voice out and dropped it low as she grabbed his hand.
Dean pursed his lips as he felt a piece of paper being slipped into his hand.
A.A.A
Angel's heart hit the floor as she watched the blonde slip what had to be her number into Dean's hand, like his girlfriend wasn't standing right there. Like she wasn't right there.
Her eyes snapped up to Dean's face and he made no notion that he even noticed the paper that was in his hand. But, how couldn't he? At least he didn't straight-up pocket it.
"Please before you go, can you sign our shirt!" One of the girls asked as she pulled out a marker from nowhere. "Please." She really laid on the cheese.
When the boys turned and looked at her, Angel let out a sigh. She couldn't really say no, could she? "Quickly."
The girls squealed and showed each of the boys where on their shirts they wanted them to sign. Shockingly no one asked for them to sign their chest. No. Angel gave herself a metal shake. That wasn't right of her. She didn't know these girls, couldn't judge them. At least she shouldn't.
Maybe the girl didn't know about her and Dean. Maybe she didn't think they were a couple, that they just kissed each other in the ring for fun. Maybe she never saw any of the interviews after WrestleMania asking them if they were a thing…maybe.
"There you go." Dean mumbled as he handed back their marker.
"Thank you." The girls giggled as they checked out their autographed shirts.
Looking down at her phone again, Angel's widened. The signing didn't go as quick as she would have liked. They were supposed to be getting onto the tour bus in twenty minutes and they haven't even made it to baggage claim yet.
"Guy we really need to get going."
The boys nodded as the girls let out yet another whine.
"Sorry girls, like our manager said we got to go, but we'll see you at the show." Seth said trying to smooth everything out as they moved to walk around the girl.
They all said goodbye, with smiles and little waves…all but the blonde whose pretty face turned sour as she turned towards Angel.
"Bitch." She hissed under her breath.
Angel stood there in awe as she tried to figure out if she really heard what she thought she did. This time she gave herself a physical shake as she followed the boys towards baggage claim. What was the girl's problem? Was she that mad that she ended their time with the Shield? Or was it something else?
No. She was doing it again. She was judging the girls. Surly, she didn't just call her a bitch because she was Dean's girlfriend. Surely.
Then again, she did give him her number in front of me.
"You look like you've got a lot on your mind their Babygirl." Roman laughed as they made their way up to the carousel of bags.
"Just this whole tour thing." She lied. "I wanna make sure it's prefect."
"Perfect?" Seth laughed. "With us…shit."
"We're always perfect." Dean smirked as he gave her a wink.
"Hell, yeah we are." Roman nodded.
The two men high fived and laughed as each other.
Laughing, Angel turned to see her bag coming around the carousel. The WWE employ tag standing out nicely against everything else. She bent down to grab it when something in the reflection in the metal of the carousel caught her attention. As she realized what it was, she was almost in awe.
The group of girls from before were standing behind them, watching them. Not believe that they were really following them, Angel looked over her shoulder only to earn a glare and the bird from the blond which made all her friends laugh.
"Why the fuck is it always my bag?" Dean asked drawing her attention.
"No sure, man." Roman chuckled as he clapped him on the back. "Though as much as I would love to share your misery, I got to use the bathroom."
"Yeah, yeah go." Dean waved him away.
Roman smirked as he grabbed his bag and wheeled it off with him.
"Ro, wait up.' Seth called after him.
"God damn it." Dean sighed. "What do they do, pull my bag and save it for last?" He asked as he scanned from his bags once more.
"Maybe." She joked trying to get her mind off the giggles that were happening behind her. "Maybe they see your name on the bad and go, 'you know what would really piss him off, him having to wait for his bag a bit longer then his friends.'"
"If it was just one time, I wouldn't be so pissed off about it. But every time we fly." He justified. Which was almost true, almost every time they flew Dean was the last one looking for his bag, it once almost made them late for a show at one point.
After a couple more minutes of waiting for Dean's bag to show up, they finally caught a glimpse of a familiar bag that had a WWE tag on it.
"Finally." Dean sighed as he watched it come around the carousal. As he bent down to grab the thing, Angel heard what sounded like the clicking of a camera phone and a bunch of giggling.
Inhaling, she looked out of the corner of her eye to see that the girls were still standing there, crowded around the blonde's phone.
Angel frowned. She was ninety percent sure that those girls had just taken a photo of Dean's butt as he bent over. Which she was slowly realizing that, that was the whole reason they had followed them over here. She wondered if they had taken pictures of both Seth and Roman bending over or if it was just Dean.
She could understand having a celebrity crush, she had them and she already knew about the fans' obsession with Dean's butt. Knew about it before she had even met him. Ambooty was a tag on the internet for a reason.
But to wait behind them for this long just so they could take a picture of him bending over, it made her blood boil and her stomach twist.
I'll give you a picture.
D.D.D.
Grumbling to himself about his bag always being the last to show, Dean stood back up and pulled the handle out of his suitcase.
"Dean?" Angel calling from him drew him out of his little self-rant.
When he turned to look at her, he expected her to tell him that they needed to hurry to make the tour bus, but instead what he got was Angel looking at him with a sweet smile on her face as she rose up to her tip toes. Like she was going of a kiss.
"You got something in your hair." She said reaching up towards the top of his head.
"Oh." He tried to be a little helpful and lowed his head down a bit so she could reach it better. "Thanks." He said as she showed him the small blue piece of fuzz that must have been part of the blanket from the plane.
"Anytime." She chuckled as she paused and looked down at his lips. Before he could say or do anything, she leaned forward and kissed him. And it wasn't a simple peck. No, he had to stop himself from groaning as he felt her tongue flick across his lips.
Surprised by her boldness, he glanced around. That was until his eyes landed on the group of girls that were hanging on them before. "Ah." He smirked as his gears in his head started to move. Now he understood what was going on in her head.
As Angel dropped form her tip toes, Dean grabbed her by the hips and pulled her into him.
She let out a little yelp as her hands went to his chest. "Dean."
"What?" He smirked at her reaction, even when jealous she was still bashful. "What?" He asked. "I thought you wanted to show those girls I belong to you. Wasn't that what that little kiss was all about?"
Her face grew so red so fast that he almost worried that she was going to pass out from it. But it told him that he hit the nail on the head. Which only was more apparent when she looked towards the floor.
"Hey, don't be like that." He grabbed her chin and made her look up at him. "You're allowed to be jealous."
Her eyes widened as if she just realized that she was jealous herself. "It's stupid."
"How is it stupid. You're allowed to be jealous when a girl hands your boyfriend's number right in front of you." He chuckled. "Oh and by the way, I've already thrown it away."
A curious look came to her face. "How?" She blinked. "When?"
Dean chuckled. "Well I didn't, Roman did."
"Roman."
"Yeah, he took it with him to the bathroom." He leaned in and whispered into her hear. "I would be bad if the fans see me throwing away something, they gave me, right?" She nodded. "That's why we came up with this system."
"But how did…" She stopped mid thought. "When you high fived."
"Yep." He smirked.
A small smile appeared on her face. "Cleaver."
"We try."
"They took a picture of your butt by the way."
Groaning he nodded his head. "Is that what bothered you?"
"Maybe…"
He leaned in again putting his mouth right by her ear. "Well don't worry, Sweetheart they only got a picture, you…" He moved the hand that was on his chest and wrapped it around him making her grab his ass. "You get the real deal."
"Hey, love birds, can't you wait until we get the hotel to get into each other pants." Dean heard Seth's voice coming from across the airport. Which made both him and Angel grumble as they pulled away from each other in a rush. Him because he wanted to punch the man in the face and her because she was probably embarrassed out of her mind.
Canadice: I'm glad I made your morning! You and everyone who reviews always makes mine.
Samcoo12: I hate to say about Seth turning, yes I'm going with it and yes it will be heart wrenching to write and watch. I also believed they messed up with that one. They should have waited a little longer but still the three men needed to go do things on their own. Even though two of them go pushed to high heaven and one got left behind. Won't get into that...sorry. I'm glad you're liking the sorry. Angel should learn how to take a bump because she's leaning the hard way right now.
Katara Melody Cullen: Thanks! She does end up in harms way a lot. She's only really been hurt once so far and that was Dean landing on her but you are right. I have some plans.
Skovko: I don't know everything off by heart. But I do look ahead a bit. I have a notebook that has every day, not chapter, but every day written out with the plot points. I also have the network and watch the shows over and over to make sure I'm getting all the important parts. So it's a bit of both I guess. Like I know what's gong to happen when Seth's turns. And I already have some ideas for later in the story, but the day to day is planned only a bit before I write and post a chapter. Hope that answered your question.
BrookeWorm3: I mean we all know what's coming to Axel. I'm glad you liked the chapter.
Guest #1: I'm not looking forward to writing Seth's turn, I have to watch it over and over just to make sure I get it right. I'm glad you like the story. I just didn't want to push anyone away with how long this thing is going to be.
Guest #2: No I would say nine times out of ten, Angel trying to help ends up poorly.
Labinnacslove: Angel is amazing and yes Hunter is noticing how much she changed.
