(Back on the track)

Gameplay was going on as normal, with Kevin being chosen as the playable racer. Jr sped his kart up to try and catch up, but there were more obstacles than usual today. He wondered where they all came from. After passing a couple terminators, he noticed they acted differently, they were chasing after him. Jr didn't know a lot about the terminators besides the machines themselves were very old and even when they were new they weren't that fast, being heavy and bulky.

Despite those shortcomings, one of the machines jumped onto his kart after chasing after him. Jr wasn't even aware these old machines could even run as fast as his kart, but nevertheless one started trying to rip it to pieces. A simple gaster blaster easily took it out. This was becoming a really strange week.

Meanwhile near Gumball alley, 'lucy' was supposedly in her mystery racer outfit placing explosives on the Gumball machines. Norville was quick to greet her

"So you found a new hobby, I'm not impressed" said Norville

Lucy turned towards him.

"You can't win you know, I'm stronger zan you" said Norville

Lucy clapped a couple times and several more people in different colored racing suits surrounded norville. Norville got into his skeletal form and went to attack, but much to his surprise, Lucy was more agile than she usually was. But that didn't stop him from summoning sharp bones to attack

"You force me to do zis" said Norville

He sent a bone through one of the mystery racers chests, and saw that they weren't hurt. He did the same thing to all the mystery racers, and noticed they weren't hurt at all. All the mystery racers laughed, before removing their helmets. None of them were Lucy, they had the heads of t-600 terminators.

"Nice trick Lucy, but not unthinkable" said Norville

Norville summoned a large gaster blaster to attack, but upon firing, he saw he did no damage to any whatsoever. Norville was beginning to worry, what could possibly take these things down? He didn't have time to think long before he was grabbed tightly, and he couldn't fight back. The real Lucy approached him, not impressed

"How stupid does everyone think I am?" Lucy asked him

"Vot are you doing?" Norville asked

Lucy didn't answer and simply dug into her purse. She pulled out a gold ring bracelet and slid it onto his arm, which turned him back into his human form. The machines gave him a big shock before Lucy injected something into his body, and before long, he fell unconscious.

"Take him back to the technodrome" said Lucy

The machines nodded and began dragging him away. Lucy finished planting the explosives herself, and once she got a safe distance away, she detonated them, causing the track to flood with large Gumballs. She smirked at the scene.

"Everything is going to plan. Soon, there'll be no sugar rush" Lucy said to herself

(Later)

Hours later, the arcade was closing, and it was another rough day for the racers. Jr in particular was tired. It seemed all the obstacles were trying to get him more than anyone. He was the only one who stayed when everyone left. He wanted some peace and quiet to fix up his kart.

"Vot a day. Hope Monday's better" said Jr

"Hey Jr"

Jr looked up to see mocho next to his kart

"Have you seen Lucy, I can't find her anywhere and she's not answering her phone. I'm worried for her"

"I'm sure she's ok, but I haven't see her since zis morning" said Jr

"I'm worried, she's not herself. This whole not racing thing has gotten to her" said Mocho

"If you ask me, she's overreacting. She's a great driver" said Jr

"She feels unloved by the gamers is what she's always saying. I'm not a playable character so I don't know how she truly feels, but-

"Again, she's overreacting. Go to Ze castle if you vont to find her, maybe she's there" said Jr

"Fine, I will. But I don't think you're understanding the situation Jr" said Mocho

Mocho got on all fours and hopped away. After doing some work under his kart, cleaning cake frosting and terminator parts, he went to his seat and saw something taped to the steering wheel, telling him to go around behind lucys fan stand. He drove behind it to find lucys purse just lying abandoned with a note telling him to unzip the bag. Jr rolled his eyes and got into his skeleton form.

"How stupid does she zink I am?" Jr asked himself

He hopped out of his kart and walked over to the purse. He kicked it with his foot, and shook the bag to see if there was anything he should worry about. He threw the bag on the ground and took a few steps back.

"I'll buy her a new one" said Jr before shooting a gaster blaster at the bag

The bag exploded and released a purple gas which made him cough violently. Lucy, wearing a gas mask, took this chance to sneak up on him with another bracelet like the one she gave norville. She held him down and slid it onto his arm, turning him back to a human. The gas took effect on jr and caused him to pass out.

"No need to get me another, I have another" said Lucy, who had an identical but brown colored purse over her shoulder

She threw Jr onto her kart and drove off.
