Prompt from IDidn'tSignUp4This: Sombra and Sigma father-daughter bonding. I've adopted this concept as canon and would love to see some fanfics with it.
…..
Sigma was snoozing lightly on the couch when he felt someone tap him on the shoulder. Opening one eye, he frowned at Sombra.
"Hey Pops." She greeted him brightly, making him instantly suspicious.
"What do you want?" Wearily, he opened his eyes and shifted into a more comfortable position.
Sombra spotted the suspicion instantly, instantly putting on her best angelic expression, widening her eyes as much as possible, trying to make them a little bit teary so that they glistened in the light. Her lips were pulled into a pout and she flopped dramatically in front of him.
"What do you mean?" She blinked innocently.
"I know all of your expressions, including the ones where you're trying to trick me into something." He raised a challenging eyebrow, as she continued to feign innocence.
"You are so cruel to me." Sombra pouted.
The sound that Sigma made in response was a mixture between a scoff and a laugh of sorts, sitting up and making room for Sombra to flop next to him. "I am, I am."
"I just… fancied going to the movies." She ran her hand through her hair, "Please?"
"… With who?" Sombra might not be his biological daughter, but his over-protective instincts were kicking in.
"Just a friend Pops, jeez!" She rolled her eyes, "Hana's going to pick me up and- "
"- Hana Song? Overwatch's Hana Song?" Sigma shook his head, "No way."
"Pops!"
It didn't seem possible, but Sombra's eyes seemed to get bigger.
"Fine, fine, fine!" Sigma gave up too quickly, "Be back by nine at the latest, understood?"
"Si, Papa." Sombra gave him an indulgent grin, wrapping her arms around him and kissing his cheek (and probably hacking into his accounts for some money at the same time), "I have to go and get ready!"
As she bounded off the sofa and raced towards her room, Sigma groaned and floated towards the kitchen.
He needed something a little stronger to drink to deal with that girl.
