As Bee remained at guard at the door of the quarters, he saw Optimus and Ironhide approaching him. Bee stood as imposingly as he could. Optimus and Hide noticed Bee was guarding the door. "Why do you stand guard?" Optimus asked, knowing Mirage had not put Bee back on the guard duty.
"Sir, I guard him occasionally so I can keep the promise I made to his parents when he was sparked" Bee replied. Hide and Optimus nodded. Bee sensed something. "Sir, I heard that the war is over. Is this true?"
Hide looked to Optimus for the Prime to answer. "Megatron has been destroyed and while not all the cons have been caught, enough have been so that Cybertron can be free once again."
Bee nodded before bowing, "then welcome home King Optimus Prime. Your royal family awaits you" Bee replied.
"Please, Bumblebee. I may be ruler, but I am just Optimus. I want Cybertron to be free. I don't want their to be separate kingdoms that dot the planet. I want bots to be free" Optimus stated. Bee was stunned while Hide smiled. Hide knew that this was the real Optimus.
"Now, I'll take your spot, Bee. You look like you need some rest" Hide stated. Bee just nodded. He was still a bit stunned by all that had occurred. Optimus walked in with bee while Hide stood guard. Optimus knew Mirage needed to hear the good news. And soon the bot would.
Meanwhile, Prowl headed back for his and his mate's quarters. He was happy that the war was over as it meant that neither Wingspan nor any of their other sparklings would ever see war. Prowl soon entered his quarters. They were quiet – too quiet. What Prowl didn't realize was that Jazz had sent their sparklings elsewhere as was ready to spoil his mate silly. Jazz had heard the news and wanted to show Prowl just how happy the sabetour was. Prowl smirked when he realized what was going on. And soon the two were sharing some adult fun together.
Elsewhere on the base, other Autobots were returning to various bases, some meeting up with mates and families while others met up with friends. All were happy that the war was over. Now the only question that remained was how Optimus Prime, now considered King overall Cybertron by the Autobots would want to rebuild the planet. They would be in for a shock when Optimus finally told all of them his plans for Cybertron.
