Nick walked into the room, taking a deep breath to prepare himself for what came next. Upon entering the room he saw Judy laying in the hospital bed, holding a bundled blanket.

"Judy" Nick softly said approaching Judy as she looked up, drained of energy having just had her baby. Nick smiled, asking what the final verdict was as she smiled.

"It's a girl" Judy replied turning the bundle towards Nick, revealing a reddish-brown rabbit with purple eyes as Nick looked amazed at the baby in Judy's arms.

"Wow, she even your eyes," Nick said in disbelief the child got such a rare trait as Judy simply smirked. Nick explained how worried he was when he got the call, how he rushed to the hospital and got an escort. Judy laughed at him. Nick realized he was acting erratically as he looked at the baby doe.

"So, what's her name?" Nick asked as Judy introduced him to Viola Wilde as he scratched the back of his neck. surprised she had already chosen a name.

"That's a strange name, Viola. but it's a great name for a little girl" Nick replied as Judy smiled, explained she chose the name because the two of them having a child seemed like an act of magic. Nick chuckled as he looked at the baby.

"Hi Viola, I'm your father," Nick said to the baby who was barely paying attention, instead of blowing spit bubbles.

"I can't believe we're actually parents, but there is the truth, In my arms. proof that a fox and rabbit can fall in love and have a child" Judy stated as Nick looked at the little bunny, wrapped up.

"You think she can understand us, I mean she's only a newborn, do you think she knows who we are and has a concept of this" Nick asked as Judy shrugged saying the main thought running her head right now is how their gonna share the experience.

"First Things First, I know it's a big thing to ask but can you do bathing and diaper duty, she's a girl and a rabbit, I feel it would be wrong seeing our daughter's private region," Nick said as Judy chuckled.

"Sounds fair. and you can feed her, wash her clothes, read her bedtime stories, and pick up her toys among other things" Judy replied as Nick smirked.

"I only feel uncomfortable doing those two things," Nick asked as Judy looked at him.

"What about Potty training?" Judy replied as Nick looked at her, stating that's the kind of thing he could not teach her.

"Ok, three things" Nick replied.

A few weeks later Nick and Judy decided to have a party to introduce their child to all their friends. Naturally, the two decided to go to Bunnyburrow, considering a few hundred rabbits coming to the city would be hectic.

"Aww, she is so adorable," Bonnie said looking at the baby rabbit, chewing on a rubber toy. Judy's parents stated how glad they were, seeing that the two of them were good parents to the infant as Bonnie looked at Judy, asking how it felt giving birth as her face got flustered.

"Mom, that's... I mean. Getting pregnant was unexpected. It was an accident. But it was a happy accident that I would not trade" Judy replied.

"From what I heard from the doctors, Judy handled it well, but that's Judy for you, she's the toughest mammal I know" Nick replied drinking a glass of lemonade as they laughed.

"You should have seen Bonnie when we first got together, the first time giving birth, she was screaming, she ended up delivering 5 beautiful children" Stu exclaimed, proud of their family as Judy chuckled. She explained this was a one-time thing.

"We have no desire of an apartment full of babies, one is good enough for us" Judy replied.

"True, when you have multiple kids you have to manage every single one, it was easier just having one, and in a way that makes it special," John said as Bonnie and Francine were sharing baby stories about the two new parents.

Nick and Judy blushed with embarrassment as their friends walked up Bucky walked up to them, sisters by his side. followed by Chuck, Dawn, and Han

"Hey, Nick, this the new addition to your family," Bucky said as the introduced him to Viola. he rubbed the baby's chin with his finger as she giggled. his sisters complimented them.

"Thanks for coming Dawn, I know being the mayor, It's hard to take days off," Nick said as she chuckled, asking Nick if he actually thought she would miss this. Nick shook his head as Chuck ran his fork down the slice of pie on his paper plate.

"Thanks for the food Mrs. Hopps" Chuck said as Bonnie nodded, saying he should thank Mr. Grey, he was the one who baked for the event as the woodchuck nodded, saying he was gonna look around to thank him as Nick turned to Han.

"Speaking of food, thank you for catering this party Han, I know preparing noodles for a such party is big chore" Nick thanked as Han smiled, saying it was his pleasure to celebrate this event as many of kerfuffle were eager to see their new cousin, commenting on Viola's eyes and distinct fur color as Bonnie looked at Carmen Harris.

"So, you're Carmen, Sarah told us a lot about you two," the older doe said to Bucky's sister as she tugged her collar.

"So you told you about how we met?" Carmen asked a bit ashamed of her career as Bonnie stated that all she was told was that the two girls met online as carmen breathed a sigh of relief. that would have been a hard pill to swallow at the party.

"Anyway, we are here to celebrate the Wilde family and their new addition" Sarah said trying to change the topic as carmen smiled.

"Nice one sweetie," Carmen said as the two bunnies left the group as Bonnie waved them off, facing back to Nick and Judy.

"She seems nice," Bonnie said, stating her thoughts on Carmen as Nick vouched saying she was a good friend to him and Judy as they talked about the plans for Viola. Judy said that Nick was considering leaving the force so one of them could always be around, in case something ever happened to Judy on the job.

"My dad and I have been talking about me taking over the tailoring shop. I grew up there and helped him with orders" Nick said as Judy looked at him a bit dumbfounded.

"It's True, Nick knows his way around a needle and thread, he is MY son After All," John said a bit proud of Nick's decision to take over as Nick smirked as Judy smirked, stating she never had him pegged as the type to know how to sew clothes as he chuckled.

"Judy, there is a lot you don't know about me" Nick replied as John smiled, saying that the two of them would save a lot of baby clothes as the line earned a laugh around. Judy rubbed her shoulder.

"It's gonna be weird, going on patrol without you" Judy stated imagining riding along with a new partner, we have such great chemistry" Judy replied as Nick nodded saying she could always stop by as she agreed to that.

Eventually, the party ended as Nick held up Viola, walking to his car with Judy. the two were leaving as Nick looked at her.

"I like driving out here but it kills my gas" Nick joked as Judy smirked, telling him not to worry as she would pay him back. he looked at her, saying that she did not need to pay him back.

"It was worth the trip, I like visiting your family, it's a nice break from the loud crowded city," Nick said as she laughed, saying he was trading a crowded city for a crowded farmhouse. The two got to the car as Nick set the baby in a car seat, in the middle of the row

"Let's get you fastened in," Nick said messing with the latches as a click was heard. Nick and Judy sat on the sides of the baby seat. Nick put the keys in, starting the engine as he looked through the engine.

"Let's find some easy listening music," Nick said messing with radio as he put it on a soft rock station, Viola, nodding to beat, indicating hse liked it as the two drove back to the city. Nick looked at Viola for a quick second, handed her a clear bottle which she began sucking on
