"Where are we?" Orchid questioned.
"This is the Shadow Realm. Here, no one can interrupt us. It is just the two of us, or I should say four." Draegor explained.
"What do you mean?"
"You will understand in a moment, but for now let us start this Death Duel." Said Draegor with a menacing tone.
Orchid gulped. This was worse that the Dark Country's environment. The air itself was freezing and seemed to suck away any trace of life that was present.
"Do not be afraid. You must fight him if you want to live." Young chimed in.
"Yeah, and if I had just avoided him I would stay alive too. Thanks." Orchid thought back.
"How long will you stay in her body, Young? You have nowhere to hide now. After I eliminate her, I will destroy you." Draegor's voice was hard, cold, and unwavering.
"Hey! You're fighting me! Skill: 'Aura of Light'!" Orchid protested and chanted a Skill causing her body to glow briefly.
"Not for very long. Now let us begin. You already met your aunt, so allow me to introduce you to your twin sister she mentioned. I Summon 'Lilly the Dark Elf'." Draegor chanted and Lilly appeared before him.
"She… looks just like me." Orchid noticed. It was true. Aside from their difference in hair color and slight body structure, Lilly and Orchid looked exactly the same.
"Who are you?" Lilly asked upon seeing her opponent. "You look like me."
"Lilly, I would like to introduce you to your sister, Orchid."
"My sister?!"
"Yes. She is our opponent."
"B-But, why?" Lilly didn't want to attack her sister after only now just meeting her.
"We do not have time to explain. You will simply have to trust me."
"It doesn't matter to me. I'm defeating you if it kills me!" Orchid shouted as the aura appeared again, then she charged Lilly.
"What?!" Lilly panicked.
"Lilly, stop her attack!" Draegor ordered. Without hesitating, Lilly formed her shield and stopped Orchid's attack before it hit her.
"You coward! Fight me!" Orchid challenged as her body glowed again.
"I see that your Skill 'Aura of Light' is granting you some life force each turn. 500 to be exact." Draegor assessed.
"I only use this Skill against foes I see as being difficult to deal with, and I haven't used it in a long time." Orchid boasted.
"Is that meant to be a compliment or an insult? Regardless it is my turn. I will switch 'Lilly' to defense, then I will Summon 'Gil Garth' to the field." In front of Draegor formed an armored, humanoid machine with a massive katana.
"Not bad, but your monster is weaker than me, and I've got some tricks of my own." Orchid declared as her aura went off again. She then attacked the 'Gil Garth', and with her fist, she punched through the monster's sword and through the armor with no trouble at all. The shockwave created from the impact carried through to Draegor and struck him with impressive force. "Thanks to one of my other abilities, I can instantly destroy any monster that is as strong as or weaker than me, then you will lose life force equal to that monster's ATK. Since it had 1800 ATK, that brings your life force down to 6200, and thanks to my 'Aura of Light' Skill working in the background, I now have 6000 life force." Orchid proudly proclaimed.
"A decent start, but the end is already in sight." Draegor declared with an unnerving tone.
"What are you talking about?" Orchid questioned as her Skill triggered again to raise her life force even more.
"I will now Summon 'Summoner Monk' to the field." A purple robed monk appeared before Draegor. "I will now invoke its effect and discard one of my Spells, allowing me to Special Summon 'Sorcerer of the Doomed' from my Deck." Next to the 'Monk' appeared an old man who was nothing but skin and bones and covered with the horrified, and demented faces of other people. "Next I will use 'Monster Reborn' and bring back my 'Gil Garth'." Draegor added and resurrected his monster from before.
Orchid was happy to see this. All of these monsters were weak and with the 'Final Form' Skill she could use, nothing would be left of them.
"Brace yourself." Young warned.
"What do you mean? His monsters are nothing and I still have my ace in the hole." Orchid shrugged off Young's warning.
"Now Lilly, perform your Contact Fusion." Draegor ordered.
"Contact what?" Orchid questioned.
Lilly began to merge with the other three monsters causing a violent swirl of shadows to surround her.
"I now present to you 'Lilly the Eerie Shadow'." Draegor gestured his hand to the new Lilly, who was now a literal shadow, only her glowing red eyes could be made out.
"She doesn't scare me." Orchid boasted.
"Is that so? Perhaps we need a lesson in fear. I will now pay 1000 of my life force to activate her effect, and that is to destroy one thing my opponent controls; you."
Lilly siphoned Draegor's life force into herself and fired a dark beam at Orchid. The energy cut through her very soul, shredding it in half.
"Half of your life force has now been taken away, but it is not over yet. 'Lilly', attack Orchid with your Shadow Slash!" Draegor demanded.
Lilly was unable to control herself as she faded into the shadows. Orchid looked around for her, but was unsuccessful as she was delivered a heavy strike from behind. The elf cried in pain, but only briefly.
"You haven't won this yet." Orchid claimed as her aura healed her wounds slightly.
"Are you certain of that?" Draegor mocked.
"Skill: 'Final Form'!" Orchid chanted and her body began to glow. Armor made of pure light that shone bright enough to ward off the darkness formed all over her body. "I have to give up half my life force for this, but it'll be worth it to get rid of that monstrosity!" Orchid shouted and charged her attack as Lilly braced for the assault. The elf took off with blinding speed for Lilly, reeling back with her fist before landing the devastating blow.
Back outside the orb of shadows, everyone in the throne room could feel the very ground shake, and a powerful energy bleed into the atmosphere.
"What in the world was that?" Gilligan questioned.
"Whatever it was, it's not good." Seravis added.
Orchid stood frozen. Lilly's claws of shadow were firmly gripping Orchid's fist in place. Her attack failed. Draegor let out a horrible laugh.
"Did you honestly think that would work? You think too much with your fists. Because I used three other monsters to fuse with Lilly, she has become even stronger and cannot be destroyed by any Skills or effects. Though I suppose you should feel some sense of accomplishment. You did damage me through your Skill for the difference in your and Lilly's ATKs." Draegor mocked with his horrible laugh.
"You knew, didn't you?" Orchid questioned as her armor of light disappeared.
"I know more about Young and his Skills that you could ever hope to understand. And he knows just as much about me. He will not answer you now, but you may ask him."
"Is this true?" Orchid thought to Young, but true to Draegor's words, he did not respond.
"Now we finish this. I will pay another 1000 of my life force to sever yours in half." Said Draegor as Lilly siphoned away his life force again. She attacked with her dark energy and penetrated Orchid's soul, cutting it in half. Weak, the elf collapsed to the floor on one knee. "Now Lilly, finish this."
"I… I can't." Lilly claimed.
"Are you disobeying me?" Draegor questioned angrily.
"N-No. It's just… I don't want to kill my sister." She argued.
"There is no other option available to you, Lilly. Now attack!" Draegor demanded and Lilly was unable to resist his power. She felt her body move on its own and charge her sister without hesitation, striking for her heart.
"No!" Lilly cried as she made the final attack.
Everyone in the throne room watched with locked eyes as the orb of shadows began to fade away and disappear. As the darkness vanished, a bright light began to replace it, growing brighter and brighter until it was too blinding to look at. Once the light faded, everyone looked to the middle to see four people in its place.
