Jamie races down the hall to Rowena's apartment and bangs hard on the door. "Rowena! It's Jamie!"

"Coming dear!" A voice from inside calls. Jamie's chest heaves quickly. There is fear and dread on her face and in her eyes. Her clothes are rumpled, she's still wearing the same jeans and grey t-shirt she was wearing when she, Mary, and Jack tracked down Nick. Her dark hair curls wildly around her face from where it's fallen out of the messy bun behind her neck. "Jamie wh-" Rowena barely gets words out before Jamie shoulders past her into the apartment. "Jamie?!" Rowena looks offended and then sees the state the Winchester is in. "What's happened to you? Your brothers are looking for you!"

"Jack…" Jamie wildly seans the room. "Jack did something to my mom." She grabs her temple, gasping softly. Her eyes are flashing blue intermittently.

"Jamie." Rowena's voice is full of concern. "You are in no state to be up and moving around right now." She grabs the hunter's arm and pulls her over to the loveseat. "What is…" She scans over Jamie. "Did Jack do this to you?" Her eyes catch the tattoo on Jamie's wrist, still glowing blue.

"I think Jack killed her." Jamie says bluntly. "Tore her body apart. And…and the only reason I'm still" Her eyes flash blue and she moans softly "I'm still whole is because of Michael's grace."

"Okay. Here is what I'll do. You rest. I will look for Jack and your mother." Rowena grabs a blanket and throws it over Jamie. Jamie leans against the arm of the loveseat. After a few moments she is unconscious. Rowena frowns, worried.

"Rowena. Hey."

Rowena looks over to where Jamie is still unconscious. "Hello, Samuel. I did what you asked. I used scrying magic on the boy, tried to find him. But his energy, it's too unstable. It was like looking at the sun."

"How's Jamie?"

"She is still out, I'm afraid. She needs more time to heal."

"But she's okay?" Rowena hears Dean ask from the background.

"Yes. Your sister is fine."

"And Mom?" Sam asks hesitantly. There is a long pause. Jamie starts to stir.

"Say it!" Dean yells.

Rowena looks over to Jamie whose just opened her eyes. "I don't know what happened or where she is but I can tell you with certainty Mary Winchester is no longer on this Earth." There was a pause and silence in the room the silence was shattered as Dean smashed a chair on a wall. Jamie flinches even though she is out of range of hearing it from the phone. Rowena sees that Sam hung up. "Jamie…"

Jamie is already getting up. "What can I do?"

"What do you mean?"

"To help you bring her back." Jamie goes over to where Rowena was scrying.

"I…" Rowena starts to collect things. "We…we could try. I can try to write a spell." Jamie gets dizzy and almost collapses. She grabs the table for support. "Jamie, you are not fully healed. Your husband's grace saved you, but only just. You sit here and rest, and leave this to me."

Jamie lies down on the couch again, but she watches Rowena work until she falls asleep. Rowena has multiple books open as she sits and writes, talking to herself. After awhile there is a sharp knock at the door. Jamie winces in her sleep. "That was fast." Rowena puts down her pen and looks at her phone. "Oh boy." She glances at Jamie, taking a moment to prepare herself for Dean and Sam.

She opens the door and looks up in surprise to see Jack standing there.

"Hello, Rowena."

Jack shoulders himself into the room, and glances at Jamie. He looks that more on edge. "Jamie."

"She's only sleeping." Rowena soothes. "Are you - Are you well? Sam and Dean are looking for you. I-I could call them." She gestures with her phone.

Jack whirls around. "No! I need help. I need magic."

"Why?" Rowena asks quietly.

"I killed Mary. I-It was an accident. I-I didn't mean to. I just - I just wanted her to be quiet. I just wanted her gone, but only for a second. And I just. I thought it. It all happened so fast. And, and Jamie. I hurt Jamie, didn't I? I need to undo it. You need to help me undo it."

Rowena sighs softly. She is careful with her words. "I, uh - The magic I've used on myself, my - my little subdermal sachets - they only work as fail-safes. They have to be prepared in advance, Jack.

"Um - What about the book? The book." Jack grabs the book of the Damned.

"Yes. Yes. The - The book. I mean, there - there is a spell. Agnes, the witch who created the Book, was a prisoner for years. She was obsessed with breaking curses. What is death but the ultimate curse? In captivity, her friends, her only companions starved and perished, so she developed a spell to bring them back - the "Magice Necromantiorum."

Rowena bids Jack to sit down next to her as she shows him the spell.

"Okay. What will we need?"

Rowena looks at him, hesitating for a minute. She notices across the room that Jamie starts to stir. "Oh, well, um the Necromantiorum requires enormous power. The ingredients are relatively simple. Um, nothing you wouldn't have handy in the bunker."

"Rowena?! Open up!" Rowena and Jack look towards the door, hearing Dean's voice.

"You've been stalling me." Jack accuses.

"Rowena?!"

"Tricking me!"

"Just talk to them." Rowena begs. "Jack. They're your kin."

"Come on! Open up!" Jack grabs unto Rowena and they disappear just as Dean kicks the door in.

"Jamie!" Sam immediately goes over to his sister. "Jamie." He shakes her as Dean searches the rooms. It takes few tries before Sam can arouse her. "Hey. Hey." He pulls her into his arms. "She's really weak." He tells Dean. Dean frowns deeply.

Dean paces as Sam sits with Jamie, he's got a canteen of water that he's giving her. "Well, how the hell are we supposed to keep up with Jack when he's got wings, huh?! And now he's got Rowena? He's got the Book of the Damned? I don't know what to do. I don't even know where to go! Cas should have told us. As soon as he saw Jack go all Dahmer on his stupid freakin' snake, he should have told us." Dean rages as Sam puts the canteen aside.

"Dean, it wasn't just Cas. It wasn't. We knew Jack was dangerous. We always knew. Long before he killed Michael. You more than anyone. I mean, from the very beginning, you knew. But, you know, we fell for him 'cause he had a good heart and a good soul. Then he didn't. And that's on me, too, by the way. I mean, I'm the one who made the call to bring him back. He didn't ask for that. I decided for him. And you warned me."

Dean sighs. "No, you didn't know, okay?"

"We didn't know. Exactly. We didn't know. But - He had become our family. You know, after Maggie and the other Hunters died I just left. Just dumped Jack on Cas and left. I knew. I mean, I knew something was gonna I just didn't know it'd be this."

Dean nods. "I did it, too. When I talked to Donatello about Jack, he said he was good as far as he could tell. But then he talked about how powerful Jack was and that he could never really be sure. And it was a warning. I just couldn't see it."

"Guys…" Jamie says softly, finally able to sit up. Her eyes flash blue for a final time as she gets up. "If you're done…I think I know where Jack is going."

Dean, Sam, and Jamie head out to the Impala. Dean and Sam are both helping Jamie walk as she still seems weak. They get her into the car and get in themselves. A few minutes later Sam's phone rings. "Rowena, hey. We just left your place."

Jamie suddenly drowns out of the conversation her brother is having. Her vision goes black and then colors slowly. She hears Jack's voice in her head.

"Id quod mortuum, nunc oriatur. Hoc quod cecidit, nunc revertatur. Id quod mortuum, nunc oriatur. Hoc quod cecidit, nunc revertatur. Hoc quod cecidit, nunc revertatur. Orimini. Ori mini."

She sees her mother, but it is only a body. Her vision goes purple. When she comes back to, she realizes the car has stopped. "What the hell?" Dean asks.

What are you doing?" Sam asks.

"The engine just stopped."

"Jack." Jamie mutters. Her brothers rush for their doors and Jamie scrambles to get out as well. Sam pulls her along as they rush to the back of the cabin.

Jamie stares up as the sky, turning purple just like her vision. And then it stops just as they reach the clearing. "Jack?" Sam asks.

Jack turns to them, looking defeated. "It didn't work." He disappears.

"No, no. No. Mom? Mom." Dean rushes forward and holds Mary's lifeless body in his arms. Jamie collapses unto the ground again. Sam picks her up as he and Dean cries.

When Jamie wakes up again she's in her bed in the bunker. Cas is sitting beside her and Dean and Sam are at the door. Cas has just finished healing her. "You should okay now, but there might some residual effects. You need to take it easy."

Jamie nods. Cas helps her up so she can join them. When the car stops at the clearing, Jamie has flashbacks of John's pyre as she helps Dean and Sam arrange Mary's. Dean carries their mother's body over to the wooden platform and places her on it. Sam throws gas over her shroud and Jamie tears open a salt canister and dumps it over. Dean lights the flames and they all step back. Cas starts go over to Dean but Sam stops him. Dean has a photo of Mary and tosses it into the fire as they say their goodbyes. He steps back and Jamie grabs his arm, laying her head on his shoulder. Sam puts his hand on Jamie's back.
