A/N: Hello everyone, I am back with chapter one - hundred and one of this story. Here, we deal with the aftermath of last time.

Disclaimer: I don't own Steven Universe

It had been a day since Pearl told everyone the truth about Pink Diamond. Deciding he should know, Pearl went off to tell Greg while Garnet was now the one being distant. Amethyst found herself seated on the couch downstairs drinking a cold bottle of Heineken when Pearl returned.

"How'd he take it?" asked Amethyst.

"It was a lot to process." answered Pearl.

Pearl sat down next to Amethyst.

"Rose told him it was better he didn't know a lot about her so he never dug into her past." explained Pearl.

"I think he's got a point." shrugged Amethyst.

Pearl rubbed her face with her hands.

"It's not your fault." stated Amethyst.

"What do you mean?" asked Pearl confused.

"You can't blame yourself for any of the shit Pink Diamond...Rose Quartz...what ever, caused." answered Amethyst.

"I could have said something." said Pearl.

"You didn't." noted Amethyst.

"I was blinded by my love to her." said Pearl.

"You need to stop beating yourself up over the dumb shit she did." said Amethyst.

"But..." began Pearl.

"No buts!" declared Amethyst.

Pearl was surprised by this.

"It's not your fault. You aren't Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond." said Amethyst firmly.

Pearl mulled this over.

"Thanks Amethyst." said Pearl.

"No problem." shrugged Amethyst.

Amethyst got up.

"Now we really got to see what's bugging G." said Amethyst.

"Garnet has been distant since I dropped that bombshell." mused Pearl.

"Let's go!" declared Amethyst.

Amethyst finished her beer and they headed to Garnet's door. Pearl knocked, but they go no reply.

"Garnet." said Pearl.

They got no answer so Pearl creaked the door open.

"Garnet." repeated Pearl.

Garnet was lying on her bed looking at the ceiling.

"Yo G!" cried Amethyst.

The two entered as Garnet looked at them.

"We couldn't help bu notice you seemed down." said Pearl.

The two reached Garnet.

"I can't believe she lied like that." said Garnet upset.

"Are you talking about Rose?" asked Pearl surprised.

Garnet sat up.

"I knew Rose Quartz." revealed Garnet.

"What?!" asked Pearl stunned.

"She introduced my mothers to each other." said Garnet.

"Why didn't you tell us?" asked Amethyst surprised.

"I don't know." answered Garnet ashamed.

Garnet sat up.

"I told my mothers and they're not taking it well." added Garnet.

"Rose sucked." said Amethyst.

"No she didn't!" declared Pearl defensive.

Amethyst raised her eyebrow.

"She had a bad habit of not thinking through with her plans." said Pearl.

Pearl scratched her head.

"How about your mothers come and visit us." proposed Pearl.

"It's worth a shot." added Amethyst.

Garnet thought this over.

"Okay. I'll call them." agreed Garnet.

Following this, Pearl decided to see how the others where doing. She hoped into her car and drove of to the country,. Arriving at the farm, Pearl saw both cars meaning Peridot and Lapis where both home. Pearl walked up and knocked on the door getting Pumpkin excited. After a few second, Peridot answered and let Pearl in.

"Hey Lapis! Pearl's here!" called Peridot.

"I just wanted to see how you where." revealed Pearl.

Lapis came down the stairs.

"After yesterday." added Pearl.

Lapis tensed a bit, but neither Pearl nor Peridot noticed.

"We're fine." shrugged Peridot.

Lapis put on a fake smile.

"Yeah." said Lapis.

Pearl explained her talks with Greg and Amethyst.

"I can't imagine everything Greg must be going through." said Lapis.

"I know. Finding out the person you loved was hiding all that from you." agreed Peridot.

A thought came to Peridot.

"What about Steven?" asked Peridot.

"He was playing and I don't think he heard us." said Pearl.

"I'd image Greg will tell him at some point." mused Lapis.

"He's only a kid now." stated Peridot.

"I meant when he was older." replied Lapis.

Peridot chuckled.

"I totally knew that." said Peridot blushing.

Peridot shook her head.

"At least Amethyst was there for you." said Peridot.

"And Garnet." added Lapis.

"There's more..." began Pearl.

Pearl told them about her talk with Garnet.

"Garnet actually knew Pink Diamond." said Peridot stunned.

Pearl felt her stomach twisting.

"Anyway, her moms will be coming over the weekend." revealed Pearl.

"That should be interesting as we haven't met them." said Peridot.

Both looked at the uneasy Peridot.

"What?" asked Lapis tensely.

"You're being quiet." answered Pearl.

"Are you okay?" asked Peridot worried.

"Yeah. Fine." answered Lapis.

"You're not acting like it." noted Pearl.

Lapis let out a sigh.

"I never expected this. I knew I had a toxic relationship with Jasper, but having the dean trying to have a friend killed..." started Lapis.

Lapis trailed of, unable to finished.

"If I could turn back time and keep you from getting involved then I would." said Pearl.

"Well, you're getting involved him help me break away from Jasper so it wasn't all bad." admitted Lapis.

Peridot took Lapis' hands in her own.

"Whatever happens, we're here for each other." said Peridot.

Lapis snort laughed.

"I'm sorry. That was so cheesy." laughed Lapis.

"I fail to see the humor." noted Peridot.

"It's me laughing a good thing?" asked Lapis.

Peridot thought this over.

"I guess so." mused Peridot.

"I do feel better." said Lapis.

"That's good to hear." sighed Peridot in relief.

"So...Garnet's moms should be here in the next few days." noted Pearl.

Pearl stood up.

"You are't staying?" asked Peridot.

"I have one person left to see." answered Pearl.

Pearl said goodbye and left. She departed the farmhouse and made her way to Beach Town. The thought of talking with her parents or sisters came up, but Pearl quickly dashed that thought. She didn't want more people she cared about getting involved in this. Pearl arrived at her destination and and saw Sheena. Sheena told her boss she was taking and break and headed outside.

"Hey babe." said Sheena.

"Hello." replied Pearl blushing.

Sheena kissed Pearl.

"Oh...I...uh..." stammered Pearl.

"My cute little dork." said Sheena.

Pearl's face was red as a tomato.

"So, what's up?" asked Sheena.

Pearl took a moment to compose herself.

"Well..." began Pearl.

Pearl told Sheena about her talks with the others.

"So Garnet's moms will be staying over the weekend." concluded Pearl.

"I can come over and met them, right?" asked Sheena.

"Of course." answered Pearl.

Sheena rubbed her chin.

"I don't know, they might be homophobes." joked Sheena.

It took a second, but Pearl couldn't help but snicker realizing this was a joke.

"You almost had me there." admitted Pearl.

Sheena pulled out her cigarettes so Pearl did the same.

"Need a light?" asked Sheena, with a cigarette in her mouth.

"Sure." answered Pearl.

Sheena lit Pearl's cigarette then her own.

"How are you?" asked Sheena.

Pearl took a drag from her cigarette.

"My talk with Amethyst helped.

Sheena took a drag from her own cigarette.

"Good to hear." said Sheena.

Pearl blushed.

"No matter what happens...you need to take care of yourself." said Sheena.

"Yeah." agreed Pearl.

Pearl took a minute before taking a long drag of her cigarette.

"I still wished I hadn't dragged you into this." admitted Pearl.

Pearl began laughing and had to quickly remove her cigarette so she didn't choke.

"What's so funny?" asked Pearl confused.

Sheena took a moment to calm herself down.

"Do you have any idea how boring and sucky my life was before I met you?" asked Sheena.

"Um...no." answered Pearl confused.

"I was stuck in the same rut every day. The whole reason I was at that party was because it was something new to do." explained Sheena.

Sheena took a long drag of her cigarette.

"You're the best thing to ever happen to me." said Sheena.

Pearl once again found herself blushing.

"I want to be with you no matter how crazy shit gets." said Sheena.

Pearl took a drag of her cigarette.

"I must admit, that is comforting." confessed Pearl.

Sheena saw her boss gesturing for her.

"Damn. My break is up." sighed Sheena.

Sheena finished off her cigarette then tossed the butt onto the stepped it out.

"You should come by more often." said Sheena.

"I'll try." said Pearl.

The two kissed and Sheena.

"She ya over the weekend!"called Sheena.

"Okay!" called Pearl.

Pearl finished off her cigarette.

"How did I ever end up with her?" asked Pearl happily.

Meanwhile, two more people where planning: Dean Diamond and Miss Diamond. Miss Diamond sat on the sofa in the living room of their Victorian mansion. Dean Diamond angrily paced back and forth. The recent setbacks where clearly angering the Dean. While Miss Diamond justice for her deceased sister, she was concerned about the sister right before her. Dean Diamond checked her phone again and angrily let out an angry snarl.

"I take it no call from Emerald." sighed Miss Diamond.

"She took the down payment and ran! Coward!" spat Dean Diamond angrily.

"First she escaped our home and now this." sighed Miss Diamond sadly.

Dean Diamond stopped pacing.

"Don't fall apart on me." huffed Dean Diamond.

"Now what?" asked Miss Diamond.

"It's take to take matters into her own hands." answered Dean Diamond.

Dean Diamond pulled a Heckler & Koch P7 pistol out of her bag.

"So its come to this." sighed Miss Diamond.

"I wasn't sure what you would want." noted Dean Diamond.

Miss Diamond tensed up.

"I can't use one of...those things. After they took Pink away." said Miss Diamond.

Dean Diamond rolled her eyes.

"I'll find another way." stated Miss Diamond.

"So be it." relented Dean Diamond.

Dean Diamond put her gun away.

"We move over the weekend." said Miss Diamond.

Little did anyone know, an old face was returning to the picture.

A/N: That's where we'll end. So a bit of a follow up to last time and mystery to cap it off. Next time, Ruby and Sapphire arrives as does someone else we've met and the Diamonds make their move.
