Author Note: VERY IMPORTANT UPDATE, PLEASE READ

After writing one of the future chapters for this fic, I have gotten a bit burned out. I noticed this while trying to write the next chapter. Writing very long chapters has gotten exhausting.

So, I decided to try writing another fic to see if that would get me inspired. And now, I'm really invested in that fic. Don't worry, I'm still gonna be typing words for this fic whenever I can, for now I want to get some stuff written for my other fic, which I'll be posting the first chapter of soon after I post this. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the chapter!

Review Response

Wishmaker1028: Writing that part was a bit sad, I'll be honest.

The North Pole was a very cold place.

Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl didn't need to bundle up, because there would be no time for that. There was something much, much more important to take care of.

After the fairies had gotten rid of the metal on Earth, the three Gems went into action. They took a warp pad to the nearest warp to the North Pole, which thankfully wasn't too far from their destination. Only one goal was in their mind: stop Malachite.

It was imperative that they stop her, and quickly, because she could quickly began rampaging anywhere she wanted, and it would potentially impede their plans to stop the Destructionator, the Cluster, etc.

The three Gems only ran for a minute or two before they saw her. Up ahead, Malachite was partly out of the chilly water, pieces of the ice she broke through scattered around. She faced away from them, struggling against herself as her arms and body were being forcefully brought down by water chains.

Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl watched this display, not surprised by it at all. As they saw a few months ago, the Lapis half of the fusion wanted to keep them both trapped underwater indefinitely, while the Jasper half was constantly trying to escape. For the longest time, Lapis had been the dominant half of the fusion, but now Jasper was starting to take over.

"Alright," Garnet said, crossing her arms. "Let's put an end to this."

Pearl and Amethyst nodded in agreement. If they were going to fight Malachite, there was only one way, and it would be just like how they beat Dagonet. With fusion.

As Malachite struggled some more, the three Crystal Gems began their fusion dance. Garnet stood in the middle, snapping her fingers. On one side was Amethyst, dancing toward Garnet like she usually danced, and on the other side was Pearl, incorporating a ballerina twirl into her dance. When the two were close enough, Garnet spun her arms around before grabbing their hands, and at that, they began to fuse.

All three of them glowed white, quickly combining into one as their form began to grow to a size nearly as tall as Malachite. The glow dissipated, revealing Alexandrite. She wore an amalgamation of the three Gems' clothing, her turquoise hair split off into four directions, she had two mouths, one of them hidden under the other, and she had a grand total of six arms.

For what had been several minutes, Malachite struggled against herself, until… "Give up." Her voice sounded like it was two people talking at once. The water chains broke, liquefying once more as they created a small splash in the water.

Malachite chuckled a little before holding her wrist, as if she was examining it. "I'm impressed." It was clear that the Jasper half of her was in control, due to how her voice sounded. She clenched her fist. "You really held out."

"MALACHITE!" Alexandrite wasted no time alerting Malachite of her presence.

The turquoise fusion in question gasped, using all four of her eyes to look at Alexandrite after she turned her head around. "They're here!" She wanted to say something else, but she groaned, forcing herself to shut up, clenching her eyes shut. "Stop!" Her eyes snapped back open. "Pathetic."

Malachite looked away from Alexandrite. "Don't you see? We've been holding ourselves back for too long. And for what? If we're going to be this thing together, why don't we have some fun?" She wore a devilish smile as she looked back at Alexandrite.

"We don't have to fight. You're outnumbered." Alexandrite said with her lower mouth She was technically right, it was four Gems against two, although the fusion of two looked to be just as powerful as the fusion of four.

Malachite's smile grew as she completely turned to face Alexandrite. "I may be outnumbered…" Malachite raised both her arms. As she did so, parts of the ice beside her broke as two giant water arms rose up. "But you're out of your depth!" Her hands balled up into fists, and so did the water hands. "I can't wait to tear you Gems apart!"

Alexandrite roared with her lower mouth before she ran forward, careful not to shatter the ice by stomping too hard. She tried to rush Malachite before the other fusion could attack, but she was too far away.

Malachite raised her fist and punched it forward, causing the water fist to go flying toward Alexandrite. The fusion saw this and barely managed to dodge to the left, the water fist shattering the ice she previously stood on.

Alexandrite jumped up, intending to strike Malachite from above. She realized too late that Malachite still had a water arm left. Malachite used her actual arm to shoot the water arm forward and tightly grab Alexandrite.

A few long seconds passed as Malachite squeezed Alexandrite. But, without warning, Alexandrite took in a deep breath before she suddenly roared out fire from her lower mouth, instantly evaporating the water arm. This came at the cost of melting much of the ice around her though, but at the moment she didn't care.

Alexandrite tried to spew fire at Malachite, but the turquoise fusion ducked back in the water. Alexandrite stopped as she took in a few deep breaths. Looking around, she inwardly cringed as she realized she melted most of the ice around her. No biggie, she could just try to move the battle elsewhere if she had to.

Only another moment passed before Malachite rose out of the chilly water, several bubbles of water floating above her outstretched hand. She reeled the hand back and froze the water into pointed icicles before hurling them Alexandrite. The six-armed fusion reacted quickly, summoning her whip to precisely slice away the icicles. Once the icicles were destroyed, she spun in a circle and summoned her spear.

Both weapons glowed as they fused into a bow and arrow, and Alexandrite pulled back the string, a light arrow forming a second later. She fired, and the arrow separated into several smaller arrows that were moving forward in an arc.

In the nick of time, Malachite lifted her hand up, willing a giant wall of water to rise up and freeze into ice in front of her. The arrows hit the wall of ice, destroying part of it. Malachite didn't really care about that anymore though, because she summoned her water wings and took off into the air.

Alexandrite could only watch as Malachite soared into the air, as she didn't have a way of flying herself. Once Malachite was high enough, she tucked into a ball, spinning in place for several seconds. With almost no warning, she launched forward toward Alexandrite, an orange helmet summoned onto her.

Malachite rammed into Alexandrite with the helmet, and the ice below them broke, causing both of them to go crashing into the sea.

Before Timmy, Junior, and Luigi distracted the Destructionator, Timmy made a wish that all three of them could breathe in space for the next 24 hours, having the foresight to know that the three of them would most likely go into space to distract the Destructionator.

And so they did. The three of them soared up into space, flying a bit closer than they wanted to past Darkness. It was weird, Timmy could almost hear her calling out to him, but nobody else heard anything. He shook his head as he continued soaring upward, Junior clinging to his back and Luigi flying beside him using a Raccoon Leaf.

They flew farther and farther into space, the Destructionator surely tailing them from behind. They flew past the Moon Base, only now seeing just how… big space was. It was so vast, so expansive, even at the rate they were flying; they were nowhere close to Mars.

"Okay, we've gotten the Destructionator away from Earth." Luigi said. "Now what?"

"We, uh… we beat him, of course!" Junior answered.

"Well duh, but how?" Luigi asked again, this time putting emphasis on the how. "He has to have some sort of weak point or flaw or something…"

"The Destructionator is not going to hurt anyone else." Timmy said, narrowing his eyes. "And I'm going to make sure of that."

"Do you really think you can do that?" The Destructionator said, catching them off guard. Before they could react, the three rammed right onto the Destructionator's metal body. In all their talking, they must not have realized the Destructionator got ahead of them. They quickly pulled themselves off of the giant robot's body.

"You can get rid of all the metal on Earth, but you cannot get rid of me or the weapons I've already shoved in there. All I have to do is press the button, and you and your planet will go bye-bye." The Destructionator said before laughing.

"We can and we will beat you!" Timmy declared, momentarily looking back to make sure that Darkness didn't try and follow them here. "After everything you've done… it all ends here, Destructionator!"

"Ha! Out of everyone to try and beat me, it would be you three?" The Destructionator questioned. "All of you are so pathetic. Timmy Turner, you are so weak I can hardly even wonder if it's worth trying to fight you. Every time I do, you always have someone else helping you, whether it is Junior, or Mark, or maybe even an entire army! You can never do something by yourself, can you? You always need a crutch, something to help you win! You even have one right now.

"And just look at what you're carrying on your back. An annoying little kid who won't learn when to shut his mouth. He's so weak and defenseless he can't even fly on his own. And right next to you two, we have… someone who thought he was so big and badass while he was playing the villain, but then decided to go all goody-two-shoes."

"Ugh, I don't care what you have to say!" Timmy yelled. "The more you talk, the more I realize that you only care about yourself! You're just some robot that thinks he can get ahead of everyone else and become the big bad villain that's going to destroy the world, but guess what? The hero always defeats the villain, isn't that right guys?"

"Yeah, you're going down!" Junior cheered. "It's going to feel so good when we see you in pieces!"

"See?" Timmy asked, glaring at the Destructionator. "It doesn't matter what you try to say about any of us, we'll never lose to you! Junior, Luigi and I will make sure of that!"

Luigi tried to concentrate on what was currently happening, but after what the Destructionator said, it was just… too hard. He was trying so hard to forget, even though he knew his experience with Bill would be a permanent part of him, with lasting effects that would provide as evidence of his encounter.

"Right!" Luigi agreed, trying to hide how he was actually feeling and put on a brave face. "Everything you attempt or plan to do, it ends now."

"Hmph. I have magic and I have the power of the United States government inside of me, as well as my regular powers." The Destructionator said. "Despite all this, you still have a delusion that you can beat me?" He then laughed. "Then let the games begin."

The Destructionator's eyes narrowed as he shot off a magic blast at the three of them. Timmy went to the right, Junior hanging on for dear life while Luigi flew to the left.

"Okay, let's try to figure out something." Timmy said right before he narrowly dodged a swipe from the Destructionator. "Luigi said we need to find a weak point, so do you have any ideas?"

"Well, fire could melt metal." Junior suggested. "And… oh, that might not work. One of your friends told me that it needs to be like a thousand degrees or something, and my fire's not that hot."

"Was it AJ?"

"Yeah."

"Classic AJ." Timmy said. The two shared a laugh over this, only to remember too late that they were in a deadly space battle, and got hit with another one of the Destructionator's swipes. The giant wand that used to be his hand struck both of them, sending them flying away as they screamed, getting separated.

Timmy was able to quickly readjust himself thanks to his rocket boosters, but Junior wasn't so lucky. He'd been hanging onto Timmy, having no way to fly himself. And now, he couldn't stop himself as he floated away, slowly getting further and further away from Timmy.

While the Destructionator was busy with Timmy and Junior, there was one thing he left unchecked. From behind, Luigi charged up his thunderhand abilities before unleashing them on the Destructionator's back. Despite his attack being powerful, it didn't look like affected the Destructionator that much, though it was enough to get the giant robot to turn around.

"A sneak attack? How much lower can you get?" The Destructionator taunted before attempted to swipe at Luigi, but missed.

"Your words mean nothing to me." Luigi said, narrowing his eyes. "Say what you want, but you aren't going to change my mind."

The Destructionator growled before trying to shoot him with magic, but missed. He tried again, and Luigi swerved out of the way, albeit he was beginning to move a little slower than usual.

The Destructionator was focused on Luigi, but that didn't mean Timmy and Junior were in the clear. Timmy was still reeling a bit from the Destructionator's sudden attack, feeling a bit dazed.

"Timmy! Help!"

At Junior's cry, Timmy's eyes snapped open. He scanned around the immediate area, trying to find the young koopa. After a few seconds, he found him soaring away… right toward some incoming asteroids. Timmy flew as fast as he could toward Junior.

As the Destructionator tried to get a hit in on Luigi, the robot saw what Timmy was trying to do, and redirected his attention back to him. Luigi took this opportunity to attack the Destructionator again, but it was like the attack didn't even leave a scratch.

Timmy heard a magic blast coming at him from behind and swerved out of the way before stopping and turning around. The Destructionator shot another beam of magic at him and Timmy quickly countered with his heat vision. Both beams collided; causing an explosion that sent Timmy flying backward.

He landed back first onto one of the many asteroids that were coincidentally on a course toward them.

"…Hey." Junior said right next to him, having also crashed onto the asteroid a few moments before him.

The Destructionator shot yet another magic blast at them, so Timmy had to act fast. He reactivated his rocket boosters, grabbed Junior by his arm, and flew out of the way only a second before the blast hit the asteroid, turning it into a giant football.

Luigi's attacks seemed to not do anything to the Destructionator, so he flew out of the way to try a different tactic. He saw the asteroids and giant football hurtling toward them all, and got an impromptu idea. He shot more lightning at the Destructionator, distracting the robot. The Destructionator turned to him, looking angry.

The Destructionator's angry look turned to surprise and shock when a stray asteroid hit him. "What the-" Another hit him, making his head turn in a weird direction. He corrected it before looking around, trying to find where his three opponents were.

Timmy, Junior, and Luigi were using the asteroids as cover. The Destructionator became furious at this, and started randomly shooting magic at the asteroids, hoping to reveal someone behind them. The asteroids turned into random objects, such as a cake, a notebook, a pig, etc.

Eventually, the Destructionator turned an asteroid into a giant taco, and behind it were his three opponents, clearly not expecting him to find them so soon. Before they could react, he sent another beam at them, this one made up of pure energy. The beam hit them, sending them shooting backward toward the Earth.

Right now, Malachite had the obvious advantage. Both of them were underwater, but Malachite was on top of Alexandrite, and Malachite was the much better swimmer.

However, Alexandrite had a plan. As they sunk deeper into the ocean, she threw Malachite over her, a move that the turquoise fusion didn't predict. Alexandrite began swimming up to the surface, but Malachite grabbed her leg and tried to pull her back down. Alexandrite reacted by stomping on Malachite's face, forcing the fusion to let go as she yelped in pain.

Alexandrite reached the surface, climbing onto the ice. There wasn't any time for rest. In seconds, Malachite used her water wings to fly out of the water, and then rammed herself into Alexandrite, causing both fusions to go the ground. Yet again, Malachite was on top of Alexandrite.

"You know, you're right." Malachite said as she held Alexandrite down, preventing her from going anywhere. Alexandrite tried to breath fire, but Malachite punched her in the face, turning her head to the side. "There really is something more to this fusion thing!"

Before, Jasper had hated the very idea of fusion, as seen when she fought Garnet on the handship a few months ago. "It's not just a cheap trick!" While Alexandrite was still reeling from the punch, Malachite picked her up and tossed her as far as she could.

Alexandrite screamed as the force of her impact broke the ice, sending her underwater again.

"You've shown me a whole new world of possibilities!" Malachite continued as Alexandrite tried to get out of the water.

The most Alexandrite could manage was leaning against part of the still intact ice, holding her head with one hand. During the battle, she'd gotten so beat up that her form began to waver a bit. "Keep it together." She lowly grumbled. Her form turned back to normal.

Malachite raised her arms, and the ice around Alexandrite broke as two giant water hands surrounded her. "Allow me to thank you!" As Malachite said that, she clapped her hands together and held them there tightly. The water hands grabbed Alexandrite and lifted her up in the air.

"Sorry, but there's only room for one abomination on this measly planet!" Malachite said with a smirk, squeezing her hands even tighter. The water hands turned to ice, squeezing Alexandrite even harder as she began to scream.

Malachite laughed, having Alexandrite in her grasp. All it would take is a little more an-she paused, sensing something… off. Alexandrite could sense it too, which was why she stopped screaming. There was something above them. They looked up, and only had a second to react as what appeared to be a fireball crashed down near them, thankfully into the water.

The resulting splash would've been huge enough to drench Malachite and Alexandrite if they already weren't. Both of them were momentarily distracted by this, which gave Alexandrite the brief opportunity to break free from the giant ice hands.

Three figures soon popped their heads out of the water, all of them taking in a deep breath before swimming to the nearest ground. The near-freezing water plus the frigid temperatures made even just standing almost unbearable. Timmy and Junior hugged each other for warmth, and Luigi silently cursed to himself when he realized that he lost his raccoon power-up.

"What the-" Malachite began before she stopped, hearing a loud thud behind her. She turned around before scoffing at what she saw. "Seriously? A giant robot? Well, maybe I'll just have to turn you into scrap metal."

The Destructionator, standing several yards away, narrowed his eyes. "How dare you. We don't even know each other's names and yet you decide to attempt to insult me."

"Well, you are interrupting me!" Malachite yelled, forming a water fist. "And I don't make threats lightly!" She punched the water fist forward, but the Destructionator swerved out of the way, flying up into the air. Malachite growled before forming another water fist.

"Malachite, stop!" Alexandrite yelled, getting Malachite's attention. "That's the Destructionator, he could-" Alexandrite never got to finish her sentence; Malachite redirected her water fist at her, sending her onto her back. Alexandrite turned this into a backward roll, standing back up.

"I'm not going to put up with this." The Destructionator said. There was absolutely no way he was going to stay and watch these two giant ladies bicker with each other. He charged up his two wands, and before the fusions could react, sent the magic blasts at the two fusions.

The blasts hit the fusions, and… nothing happened. Malachite brushed off the spot that hit her. "What?" The Destructionator yelled. Alexandrite and Malachite glared at him. A pause. "How… how could you not even be scratched by that?"

A laugh cut through the now-silent air. "I don't think anybody told you, Destructionator." The three giants looked at Timmy as he pointed at the Destructionator. "Gems aren't affected by fairy magic."

The Destructionator looked ready to go berserk. He floated in the air, shaking in rage. He managed to calm himself down, though. He lowered himself to the ground. "Whatever. It won't even matter, because the weapons I stuffed in the Earth will destroy both of you and everything else on it."

"Fat chance!" Malachite laughed. "The Cluster has been festering inside the Earth for thousands of years, waiting to form. Sooner or later, something's going to give, and their form will destroy everything, including you."

The Destructionator reached for the detonator on his chest. "Wanna bet?"

That was all it took for Alexandrite to take action. Faster than anyone could predict, she rushed toward the Destructionator, upon him in seconds. She attempted to grab the detonator, but the Destructionator shifted himself slightly, preventing her from doing so. This caused both of them to crash into each other, falling onto the ice.

Malachite was momentarily frozen in shock at the sight before her, but she shook her head and growled to herself. "Don't even try to resist again. Even if this crummy planet blows up, we're in this together." She used her water wings to take to the skies, a plan forming in her head.

Down on the ground, Timmy, Junior, and Luigi were at a complete loss as to what they should do.

"Whoa…" Junior said. "Who was that giant purple lady?"

"I'm pretty sure that's the fusion of Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl." Luigi explained. "It would make sense, they were coming here to fight Malachite in the first place."

"Steven told me she was called Alexandrite." Timmy said. "Anyway, we can't just stand here. We have to do something."

"We need to get that detonator off of the Destructionator." Luigi said. "If we don't, he could use that as his trump card against us."

"Guys, look up!" Junior yelled. He and the other two looked up, seeing Malachite above them, willing a giant blob of water to rise up next to her. "Uh… what's she doing?"

"I think I know, and I don't want to find out if I'm correct." Luigi said, getting a bit more determined.

Alexandrite managed to keep the Destructionator pinned to the ground for a little while, despite his attempts to get out from under her. Her six arms definitely helped with that, each one pressed against a different spot of the Destructionator to make sure he couldn't do anything.

One of her arms was trying to fish for the detonator magnetized to his chest, but he managed to keep it out of her reach by twisting and turning erratically, making it hard for her to even attempt to grab it. She was beginning to get a little worn out from this, and it showed.

However, both of them were oblivious to Malachite high above them, a giant blob of water poised above her. Someone else took action before she did, though. Luigi let out a small jolt of green lightning at Malachite's leg right before she threw the blob of water, sending it slightly off course while she hissed in pain.

Hearing the hiss, Alexandrite looked behind her for a split second. Seeing what was heading toward her, she made her move. She pushed the Destructionator onto the ice as hard as she could, and used that momentum to flip over him. The Destructionator was momentarily confused by this action until seeing the blob of water coming toward him.

Malachite growled, her plan to trap both her adversaries in ice having failed. And it was all because of a factor she hadn't even considered to be a threat. Angered, she looked down to the ice, where Timmy, Junior, and Luigi were. "You…" She retracted her water wings, landing roughly on the ground in front of them. Junior tried to shoot a fireball at her, but it quickly became extinguished when Malachite shot out a small sphere of water.

"You think you can take me down?" Malachite questioned, raising one of her four legs. She slammed it down, attempting to crush them, but they were already out of the way. "Nobody can!" Before they could move out of the way, she used her hand to sweep them to the side, knocking them all down. "Now to finish you off…"

While they were still a bit dazed, Malachite raised one of her legs. She hesitated before growling and shaking her head. That brief moment was enough time for the Destructionator to rush over and smack her in the head with one of his wand-hands before turning the wands back into hands.

The Destructionator grabbed onto Malachite's hair and lifted her up before tossing her aside, leaving her to land in the water harshly. The Destructionator turned back to his original targets. "Now, where was I?" He turned one of his hands back into a wand, and aimed it at the three on the ground, whom were trying to recover from Malachite's attacks.

"Get away from them!" Alexandrite yelled, charging at the Destructionator. Her run was cut short by Malachite ramming into her, sending both of them to the ground, where they began to wrestle.

Timmy was the first one to get back up after Malachite's attack. The Destructionator aimed a blast at all three of them. Timmy quickly grabbed onto Luigi and Junior and flew out of the way with both of them before setting them back down on the ground. Timmy narrowed his eyes before flying up to the Destructionator.

Back on the ground, Junior and Luigi managed to pick themselves up, though Luigi was a bit slower and wobbled a bit before standing up straight.

"You have any more power-ups we could use?" Junior asked. "We can't really do anything standing around here."

"Sorry, but I didn't." Luigi answered. He paused for a moment, but then continued. "…I didn't anticipate needing more than one, to tell the truth." It was a bit frustrating how easily power-ups could be taken away, with a simple punch or attack.

Timmy flew around the Destructionator like a small bug, swerving around the attempted swipes at him. He looped around the Destructionator again, his eyes on the detonator on his chest. If he could just grab that detonator…

He would destroy it, and then when he had time he would wish that all the weapons were out of the Earth. There, the problem would be solved. But he still had to get it. On one go-around he got close but had to make a sharp turn upward to avoid an attempted grab.

Timmy knew he couldn't keep this up forever. The Destructionator was bound to catch on to what he was doing, if he hadn't already. He flew close to the Destructionator's back, and as it swiped at him with the wand-hand, he moved out of the way at the last second, letting the Destructionator hit itself with the wand.

"This 'strategy' of flying around me is pathetic." The Destructionator said, standing still for a moment. Timmy looped around to the chest again, and reached for the detonator. The Destructionator grabbed Timmy before he could ever get there.

Alexandrite and Malachite continued to wrestle on the ice. Alexandrite managed to stay on top despite Malachite's initial attack. Even then, it was hard for Alexandrite, having already been wrestling with the Destructionator prior.

Before long, Malachite managed to push Alexandrite off of her. The turquoise fusion flipped her over, and used all four of her legs to keep Alexandrite pinned. She struggled to get out, but it was no use.

"Now, where was I?" Malachite asked, summoning icicles. "I was about to split you Gems apart!"

Right before Malachite threw the icicles, Alexandrite managed to summon her hammer, surprising the other fusion. Alexandrite broke the icicles with the hammer, and then swung it to the side before hitting Malachite on the side of the head, dazing her. This allowed Alexandrite to get out from under her, and in a swift motion, she picked up Malachite and threw her at the Destructionator.

Said robot only relished in finally grabbing hold of Timmy for a few seconds before he heard a grunting noise and looked over. His eyes widened as Malachite's body crashed into his, inadvertedly causing him to let go of Timmy. Both of them crashed onto the ground, now dazed.

Timmy flew away from both of them, trying to regain his bearings. The Destructionator pushed Malachite off of him as he stood up, and then punched Malachite in her eye, just barely missing her Gem where her nose should be.

Malachite held her eye with one hand and roared. "I've had just about enough of you!" She punched the Destructionator in the chest with her free hand, sending him off-balance. That gave her just enough time to summon a water arm and have it grab the Destructionator's leg and turn him upside down.

On the ground, the only thing that Junior and Luigi could do for now was watch. Junior stared in awe at the fighting giants, and when he went to glance at Luigi who he remembered was standing right next to him a few moments ago, right before Malachite crashed into the Destructionator. But now, he wasn't.

He looked around, trying to find him, and he soon did, though… not where he expected him to be. He was several yards ahead of him, though… he was lying face-down on the ground, looking like he'd just… passed out, all of a sudden.

Junior let out a yelp as he ran over to Luigi. Timmy flew down to Luigi, also having noticed his condition.

"What the heck happened to him?" Timmy asked.

"I don't know, I was watching the battle and then I just see him way ahead of me like this!" Junior explained. "Did you manage to get the detonator?"

"No. As soon as I get another chance, I'm gonna try again." Timmy answered. He looked down at Luigi's fallen form for just a moment before looking back at Junior. "I'll stay here for a little bit until he wakes up. You see if you can do anything to help out Alexandrite."

"Got it." Junior said, albeit a bit hesitantly.

The Destructionator tried to rip himself free of Malachite's water arm hanging him upside down, but he couldn't. She even started to swing him around a little, taunting him. And then there was Alexandrite, who looked like she was about to take advantage of his helplessness.

Malachite saw Alexandrite moving toward the Destructionator, and growled. She took her free hand off her eye and used it to get another giant water arm, using that to push Alexandrite away. "Get away!" Malachite spat. She kept Alexandrite pinned to the ground. "I'll finish you off after I finish off this hunk of metal." She narrowed her eyes as she looked back at the Destructionator. She raised the robot high in the air, positioning him right above icy shards that she willed from just regular water.

"You know, I still can just reach for my detonator like this." The Destructionator said, planning to do just that. Malachite quickly compensated for that by extending the water arm to trap nearly his entire body. "And it's also activated by a dead man's switch. If you kill me, the detonator will activate."

Malachite hesitated, and Alexandrite managed to break free of the water hand pinning her to the ground. She roared before rushing over to the Destructionator. Malachite's hesitation was just enough for the Destructionator to break free of the water hand squeezing him, and he flew away from Malachite's trap.

"I'm done with this. This. Ends. Now." The Destructionator reached for the detonator on his chest. Alexandrite raced as fast as she could toward him, but she wouldn't be fast enough. Timmy screamed 'NO!' at the top of his lungs, but he had no chance of getting to him either. Malachite knew that the Destructionator pressing the detonator would be bad, but she couldn't think of anything she could do to stop him.

The Destructionator went to grab the detonator, and… "What?" Where it should've been… it wasn't there. "Where is it?" He tried to see if it was magnetized somewhere else on his body, but had no time to think about that as Alexandrite was suddenly upon him, punching him in the face.

Timmy frowned upon hearing that the detonator was apparently lost. If the Destructionator didn't have it anymore… then where was it? He looked back at Luigi, trying to see if there was something in particular that caused him to just fall over.

As Timmy scanned his body, there was nothing of interest. Everything looked normal… until he got to Luigi's pockets. The left one was fine, but he had to take another look at the right one. Upon closer inspection, there looked to be something small and rectangular in the pocket.

Timmy stared at it for a few seconds, before it clicked in his head. He began formulating a plan.

Junior ran closer to where the fight was taking place, despite the massive size difference between him and the giants. He had to do something to help turn the tides, he knew that. But he didn't know how. They were already down one, and who knew if they would be down another.

He saw the fight ahead of him. Alexandrite summoned her whip, wrapping it around the Destructionator. However, he used that to his advantage, pulling her closer before head-butting her, forcing her to let go and hold her head in pain. He then grabbed one of her arms and painfully slammed her into the ground.

While those two fought, Malachite had her own plans. She abandoned the original icy shards idea, going for something much easier. She willed a large glob of water to rise, and then cooled into ice, making it form the shape of a giant icicle, and aimed it straight at Alexandrite.

That would make things turn out disastrous. Junior needed to come up with something, and fast. He was pretty close to Malachite… Doing the first thing he thought of, he let out a large fireball from his mouth and shot it at Malachite's foot right before she threw the icicle. The sudden pain from the fireball caused her to hiss and offshoot her throw, making it completely miss Alexandrite and the Destructionator.

Malachite held the singed part of her foot, waiting for the pain to subside. After only a moment of looking, she found the one responsible. She lifted another foot back and kicked Junior away, the young koopa tucking into his shell when her foot was only inches away from him. Malachite refocused her attention on the two giants ahead of her.

Still in his shell, Junior soared at least several feet across the ice, bouncing and sliding a little before he came to a full stop. He got out from his shell, lying on the ground. Even though his shell absorbed most of the impact, it still hurt quite a bit, combined with everything else that happened from the battle.

Timmy was putting something in his pocket when he saw the state Junior was in. He ran over to the young koopa, making sure he was okay. "What happened?" Timmy asked, his voice filled with concern.

"Got… kicked…" Junior said, his previous adrenaline leaving him. "Feeling… sore, and… tired…" His eyes fluttered closed.

Timmy's fists shook. First Luigi, and now Junior. Both of them were getting greatly affected by this battle, and it showed. He picked up Junior and carefully set him next to Luigi. Well, now it was up to him. Narrowing his eyes, he flew back toward the battle.

After yet another one of Malachite's impromptu plans failed, she gave up on those, instead opting to just charge at both Alexandrite and the Destructionator while they were fighting. It looked like Alexandrite had the advantage, but it soon didn't matter as Malachite rammed into her, the Destructionator having gotten out of the way.

The Destructionator turned his other wand-hand back into a regular hand before quickly grabbing the back of Alexandrite's and Malachite's heads, before forcefully smashing them together. He needed to keep them busy in order to find the detonator, and that just might've worked, except for…

Timmy flew in toward the battle. The Destructionator tried to grab him, but Timmy shot heat vision into his hand, making him reel his hand back. Timmy circled around behind him, getting close to Alexandrite.

"Push Malachite into the water and then get away!" Timmy said, quiet enough that only the purple fusion could hear it. "Don't worry, I have a plan!"

Despite her head pain, Alexandrite saw that part of the ice ahead of her was broken, revealing the water. Malachite was still trying to gather her bearings from the Destructionator's attack, so Alexandrite wasted no time in forcefully picking up her back legs before flipping her backward into the water.

Timmy sped to the water, flying only a few feet above it. Alexandrite already was moving back, and the Destructionator used this brief moment to try and look for the detonator. Malachite rushed to get out of the water, but it was already too late for her.

She screamed as electricity coursed through the water, thanks to Timmy's thunder pits. The electricity forced her still, only allowing her to endure the pain. After several seconds, Timmy let up, the task of releasing electricity from his armpits tiring him out.

Malachite was frozen in pain for a few seconds, but that pain soon turned into rage. Her movement was a bit slower than usual as she turned completely to face Timmy. "You…" Her hand scrunched up into a fist, and that's as far as she would get. From behind her, Alexandrite's flail wrapped around her several times, trapping her arms before hitting her jaw.

"Hey!" Alexandrite yelled, a smile forming onto her face. "Don't forget about me." She yanked the flail back to her, pulling Malachite along with it, the turquoise fusion turning to face her. But that may have been a bad decision, as once she got only inches away, Alexandrite punched Malachite in the gut with all three of her right fists. Malachite made a weird noise in pain, and Alexandrite quickly summoned her hammer, letting the flail disappear.

Alexandrite swung Malachite in the air with the hammer, causing her to go flying upwards. Malachite managed to steady herself in the air with her water wings and growled, ready to battle some more. She let out a small gasp when Alexandrite's hammer was replaced with her bow and arrow, aimed straight at her.

"You two should spend some time apart."

Alexandrite released the arrow, its form changing into light figures of Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. The forms blended together, creating a singular beam of light energy that pierced through Malachite's form. Malachite began to slowly inflate, her eyes bulging out of her head, her body starting to shine bright, and then…

There was a popping sound. Two forms fell from where Malachite once was. Jasper and Lapis Lazuli. Alexandrite ran to catch both of them in her hands, looking at them for a moment. They were so tired, so weak… they weren't even conscious right now.

Alexandrite walked only a few steps before she collapsed onto her knees, letting Jasper and Lapis fall to the ground. Her form wavered a little, desperately needing a rest. She forced herself to stay together, though; there was still one threat she needed to take care of.

She stood back up and looked around, trying to find her target. The Destructionator wasn't anywhere in sight. She remained cautious, trying to look out for anything. Anything except for… above. A shadow fell upon her, and she gasped as she looked up.

Alexandrite barely got out of the way from the Destructionator flying down at her from above. She sidestepped, and he crashed right through the ice. Alexandrite turned to face where he would come back out… but he didn't? Several seconds passed.

She heard a splash behind her, and tried to turn around. It was too late, as she felt something giant slap her in the side, sending her to the ground. She got up and turned to face her attacker. The Destructionator stood several feet away from her, having turned his hands back into wand-hands.

Alexandrite opened her lower mouth to breathe fire, but the Destructionator opened his vortex, letting all the fire spill into it. Alexandrite took a few deep breaths as the Destructionator glowed. Then, without warning, the Destructionator spewed fire back at her, forcing her to duck. He then kicked her away, sending her rolling across the ice.

The Destructionator raced toward her, attempting to kick her again. Alexandrite got up before he got there, and moved to the left, inadvertedly right into where he was about to smack her. She stumbled backward, and the Destructionator spewed fire at her again, setting her ablaze.

Alexandrite made a dive for the water, trying to put out the flames. She stayed under for several seconds before attempting to swim back up. When she poked her head out from the water, a hand grabbed her hair, forcefully yanking her upward. The Destructionator lifted her over him and slammed her into the ice.

"It is futile to try to fight against me." The Destructionator taunted. Alexandrite tried to get herself to stand up, her form beginning to waver. The Destructionator grabbed her arm and began flying up into the air. "I cannot be stopped." He stopped flying upward when he neared the clouds.

Alexandrite tried to struggle out of his grip, but soon stopped, knowing how far of a fall she would take if she got out. "Thanks to you and your friends, I have so many new abilities." He began to slowly swing her around. "I have magic. I can breathe fire. And once I blow up the Earth…" He swung her around faster, and she began to scream.

"I will be complete!" The Destructionator let her go, and Alexandrite was sent flying down back toward the Earth. Her fall lasted for several seconds, and there was nothing she could do to stop herself as she crashed into the warp pad she took to get here, breaking it into many pieces. She fell into the water, and struggled to swim back up. Her head popped up out of the water, and she leaned against the ice, taking several deep breaths.

She tried to push herself up, seeing the Destructionator slowly go back to the ground. After a few seconds, she managed to stand up, though her stance was very shaky. The Destructionator's movement was slow and deliberate as he watched her. He was slowly floating to the ground, and she was trying to maintain herself for as long as possible.

Alexandrite tried to keep her ground, not taking her eyes off the Destructionator, no matter how weary she was. But… everyone had a breaking point that they would reach eventually, and for Alexandrite… she began to collapse, about to fall to her belly. Her form turned to light as she split apart back to Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl, all three of them beyond the point of exhaustion. They fell to the ice, hardly able to move.

"N-No…" Garnet said, trying to push herself to get up. "Come on, we need to…" When she pushed herself onto her hand, she gasped in pain and fell back to the ground.

"I… can't… move…" Amethyst groaned, her voice muffled by the fact that her face was lying on ice.

Pearl tried to push through her tears, attempting to stand up. Despite her incredibly shaky and slow movement, she used her spear to help herself stand up, using it as a cane before she balanced herself. "I… I won't… I won't… give up…" She managed to point her spear up at the Destructionator, who had just reached the ground.

Pearl heard a noise to her right. Timmy had been bringing everyone that had fallen back to the warp pad, presumably to get them all to safety when this was over. But now that the warp pad was gone… Pearl nearly went to her knees, and had to use her spear as support again.

When she initially looked to the right, she thought she saw something else, so she glanced back to make sure. From the angle she was looking, it was hard to tell what it was, but… it looked to be a medium sized hole that barely jutted out from the water, having previously been obscured by the ice above it. And that hole was filled with… weapons.

All of her energy finally lost, Pearl collapsed to the ground, tears still escaping her eyes.

The Destructionator landed on the ground, surveying the area. "Well, well, well." He let out a laugh. "Every single one of my foes have been defeated." He stopped when he glanced over a particular spot. "All except… you." He glared at Timmy, and Timmy glared back.

"After you are incapacitated, just like everyone else here, I will have all the time I want to find my detonator." The Destructionator said, not taking his eyes off of Timmy. "And then I'll press the button. You, Steven, and everyone else here will die."

"You know, you sound really sure of yourself right now." Timmy said. "You think you've gotten this whole thing planned out, don't you? Guess again. There are so many factors that you haven't accounted for that one of them will make your plan doomed to fail."

"Utter nonsense." The Destructionator scoffed. "I have all the power I could ever need to do anything I could ever want, and nothing anyone says or does will change that."

"…No." Timmy said.

"No? No what?"

"No, you don't have all the power!" Timmy yelled. He gestured to the weapons sticking out of the hole beside him. "If you did have all the power, then you would have these weapons, wouldn't you?"

"Why you little…" The Destructionator glared at him before unleashing his vortex on the hoe with weapons, beginning to suck them all in, just to prove a point. The hole was slightly narrow, so it took a little while to get the weapons. As he sucked them up, he became increasingly larger, his body glowing. Once he had every single last weapon, his body transformed. Spikes were lined across his body, he was at least twice as big as before, and his hands were replaced with several of the weapons he swallowed up.

"And now I do have the weapons, Chosen One." The Destructionator said. "It all ends here. No more chasing you, no more lies, no more games!" He pointed one of his weapon-hands at Timmy. "You will be eliminated. Do you have anything to say before you die?"

"Actually, I do." A smile curled onto Timmy's lip. "Through all the fights, struggles, and headache you've given me, I've come to realize one thing about you. You just have one little thing about you that always takes you over and prevents you from thinking reasonably. No matter how bad of a decision you may make, you always think you're going to make it out just fine. Well, Destructionator… your luck ends here."

Timmy fished into his pocket and pulled out the detonator. "Don't mess with me or my friends. This is the price you pay for your arrogance, Destructionator!" Before the Destructionator could react, Timmy pressed the button.

The Destructionator's eyes widened, realizing what was going to happen. "What… you…" A ticking sound could be heard. Out of all the ways to die, it had to be from his own weapon that he set up himself. He would get no more extra chances like before. The ticking sound quickly increased in speed. Nothing he could say or do would change his fate,

"NOOOOOO!"

The resulting explosion flung Timmy and the others backward. Timmy hit his head on one of the broken pieces of the warp pad, knocking him out instantly.

Eight unconscious figures lay on the only surviving nearby piece of ice from the explosion. It was a relatively large piece, and it was lucky that none of them fell in the water. The useless parts of the Destructionator floated around in the water, a reminder of the events that had just taken place.

"Exactly as the Count predicted it." Dimentio said, floating in the sky. He'd been told by the Count to make sure that the events went as the prophecy said they would, even if he would have to… manipulate a few things.

He didn't have to do that, though. Nobody could see him, so he floated down closer to the block of ice everyone laid on. Of course, there was something else that he was supposed to do after this, but… he didn't feel like it.

Nobody's plans were foolproof, as for example the battle he'd just been a silent witness to. He knew what the Count's ultimate goal was, and… it was a bit disappointing, if he were to be frank.

Dimentio frowned, remembering something. Once they woke up, they were supposed to take the warp back to Dimmsdale, but now that the warp was broken… bah, he just had to do everything himself, didn't he?

Since he was doing this, he may as well… change a few things. He floated down to where Timmy was, and snapped his fingers. The powers Turbo Thunder gave him were gone; his clothes now back to his usual. He glanced at Jasper for a brief moment before looking at Luigi. While he was knocked out like this, he could…

Dimentio did what he needed to do. As he did, he thought about what he should've been doing. …Ah well, he could just say that those three managed to stop him or something, it was no biggie. The overall plan would work anyway, it would just need a few small adjustments.

Besides, the Count wouldn't be upset with him. He and the other minions had failed before, so what was just one more failure? He finished his work and smiled. And then, he snapped his fingers, sending the eight back to where they should be.
