Robin is making breakfast downstairs . Henry is with him pouring orange juice. Henry enjoys helping and spending time with Robin.
" Daddy why isn't mommy up?"
" She needs her rest with the baby growing inside her. "
" Is the baby a boy or a girl?"
" We might find out today . Mommy has a appointment today to see the baby."
" Really ! I want to see the baby."
" Henry the appointment might be boring for you."
" No it wont I want to see the baby."
" Ok we will all accompany mommy but lets let her sleep."
Upstairs Regina is fast asleep Roland is snuggled in their blankets and Arrow is laying in their bed . His head resting on Regina's bump. When Robin is done with breakfast he walks upstairs with a tray and Henry follows behind with juice. They walk in and notice them all together in bed . Robin puts the tray down and walks over to kiss Regina waking her.
" Mmmm what time is it "
" I'm sorry you just looked so cute sleeping and look at our little man." Robin says gesturing toward Roland snuggled sucking on his binky.
" Did you bring him in here?"
" Of course not
About three hours ago Roland climbed out of his crib and toddled to their bed. Robin and Regina were still sleeping .
" Daddy! "
Robin wakes up and picks up Roland placing him on the bed . Roland crawls over to Regina laying next to her.
" Baby" He says kissing her bump and laying next to her.
" Thats my boy"
" Now Regina domt be mad he just loves his daddy and mommy ."
" Or maybe he knows how to get what he wants from daddy."
" And this baby will do the same ." Robin says putting his hand on Regina's stomach. " I can't wait to feel the baby move."
" Mommy we are going to see the baby today!" Henry says excitingly
" Yes yes we are ohhhh " Regina's hand goes quickly to her stomach worrying Robin.
" What is it is it the baby?"
" Yes it is"
" We should take you to the hospital."
"Robin calm down we are both fine . The baby was just kicking."
Robin puts his hand on her stomach.
" I don't feel it moving."
" Well i think I can only feel it right now . Its very soft taps."
At the appointment Regina is sitting on the exam table . Robin is sitting in the chair next Regina holding Roland. Henry walks around curious . Zelena walks in.
" Well there's my hand nephews."
" Hi Auntie we are here to see the baby."
" Would you like to help me find the baby?"
" Auntie its in mommy's tummy."
" I know that but we need to make it appear on screen . See well take this gel and move the wand on your mum's tummy."
Henry takes the gel and squirts it on Regina's stomach when she lifts her shirt. Zelena hands him the wand and moves it around. The room is filled with the baby's heartbeat.
" Look mommy I see the baby!"
After all the loses Regina has been through , she cant help but shed a tear se3ing the baby and hearing the heartbeat.
" It looks very healthy Regina and i believe i see the gender. "
Prints a few photos but prints the one with the gender and puts it in a envelope.
" How have you been feeling Regina?"
" I have been feeling great actually. I felt the baby move this morning ."
" Thats normal right Zelena? "
" Yes of course it is. I see we have a case of worried father."
" You don't know the half of it."
" So will you be inviting mum to the party?"
" Is grandma Cora coming to the party? "
The last person Regina wants is her mother there but she can see the boys love seeing her so she reluctantly agrees.
The next day everyone gathers for the reveal party. While Regina gets ready her mother walks in.
" Hello Regina"
" Mother"
" You really look radiant ."
" Thank you mother."
" I know you must be excited to find out what your having . "
" Both me and Robin are."
" How are you feeling?"
" I've never felt better. The baby and I are doing fine."
" I really am happy for you Regina. Can I help with anything?"
" Yes as a matter of fact you can make sure Roland is ready." Regina says walking away with a smile kńowing her mother is uncomfortable around Roland.
Cora walks in the kitchen and is horrified by what she sees. Roland on the counter eating the cake that has the gender inside.
" Oh Roland now look what you've done."
" Cake " Roland says cutely
Cora quickly watches him and signals for Zelena to come in the kitchen.
" What's wrong? "
" Roland got into the cake."
" Don't worry I always have a back up plan . Everyone come outside " Zelena yells
Everyone gathers outside and out walks Regina and Robin.
" So a little change in plans all instead of cutting in to a cake, we are going to shoot arrows or the daddy will be" Zlena explains
Robin's family used to shoot arrows to bring food home but Robin just does it for the sport of hitting targets. Robin proudly grabs the bow and arrow.
" Aim right daddy" Henry says
Robin looks over at Regina . He holds her hand and kisses her cheek . He then looks at the target and takes his aim. Just as he is about to take his aim Arrow their dog runs out in a pink bow wrapped around his neck. He runs over to Regina and Robin.
" Robin look Arrow !"
Robin turns around and sees the pink bow wrapped around Arrow, Roland licking his fingers with pink on them.
" It its a girl?"
" We're having a girl !" Regina says excitingly. Robin picks her up and twirls her around.
" Yay I get a sissy" Henry says jumping up and down.
" Our first granddaughter." Henry says proudly.
" Finally I can shop for little dresses. " Cora says walking over to Regina. " Congratulations sweetheart I'm so happy for you." Cora says hugging Regina. Regina instead of backing away accepts her mothers hug.
Later that night Regina is asleep but Robin isn't. He is so happy to be having a daughter. He feels this overpowering need to protect her. He leans toward Regina and puts his hand on her stomach.
" Hello little one its daddy. I love you and I will protect you and mommy. I wont anything happen to either of you. You let mommy rest and when you come out to see is you'll be daddy's little girl our princess. " Robin says to the baby . He kisses her bump where he feels a slight tap . He cant help but smile feeling the baby kick for the first time. Regina turns over and smiles kissing Robin." I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you."
" And Miss your conversation"
" That was private. "
Regina puts her hand on her bump.
" Now listen the house is filled with boys. We have to look out for each other . Your mommy's princess" Regina says to the baby they smile when the baby kicks in agreement. Nothing was going to ruin their happiness.
