Epilogue

Octavia sat there beside Sirius as they both anxiously waited for the new batch first years to be brought into the Great Hall to be sorted into the Houses that will become their family for the next seven years, and they both knew from past experiences just how well family could be made within those houses.

But the two of them were anxious for several reasons.

Standing amongst the first years would be their loved ones.

Following the end of the war many people were celebrating and to begin with most of the Weasley clan had held off on trying to have children since they were mourning the loss of loved ones. Emerson and Leighton were the first two to announce they were pregnant, bringing Connor into the world in April while it was Fleur and Bill had announced they were pregnant next and given birth to a beautiful girl on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts, naming her Victoire in memory of it.

It was when Willa and Oliver deemed it safe enough for them to let their family know that they were expecting their first child, making everyone thrilled for them as they all knew the struggles and fears they had when it came to trying to conceive. They all knew that Willa was beginning to blame herself, that with her being one of a kind prevented them from having their own child.

It wasn't until Willa looked over at her parents after delivering the news, she was unsure as to how her father would respond to the information since she knew her mother wouldn't have a problem with it knowing how much trouble her inability at falling pregnant was causing her, but it was then she caught sight of the look that they shared and instantly knew something wasn't told to them all.

It was then that Sirius and Octavia also announced that they were expecting a baby, so for the following few months both Octavia and Willa shared their pregnancy together, making their currently close mother daughter relationship that much closer.

Al though they weren't alone in their pregnancies for long, Zane and Nikki were also expecting their first child.

It wasn't until early September in 2000 when Octavia went into labour first, she had given birth to a healthy baby boy that both her and Sirius deemed fit to name Turner Remus.

It was within the week that Willa also went into labour, also giving birth to a healthy baby boy who was named Cedric Miller. For the last few months of Willa's pregnancy she was struggling to come up with a name for the baby, or even agree to any of the options that Oliver had suggested and in the end Oliver was the one that suggested Cedric, the boy who was the first one to fall at the hands of Voldemort at the beginning on the Second War, who meant so much to her.

It wasn't until December, Christmas day to be exact, that Nikki had gone into labour, also giving birth to another boy who had been named Michael. Zane was thrilled at the idea of having a boy, him growing up other boys.

But by that stage Willa was pregnant once again, again proving that magic was a wonderful thing and she couldn't believe that she was able to fall pregnant again so quickly after struggling for so long before having Cedric. Willa was furious when she learnt that she was pregnant once again and took the whole thing out on Oliver but all he did was throw his charming smile her way before announcing that he deeply loved his wife and current child, he would love this child just as much.

And again, Willa wasn't alone in her pregnancy, this time with Angelina who was pregnant alongside her for some of the pregnancy. Angelina went into labour first while Willa followed a couple of weeks later.

Angelina gave birth to a baby boy, both her and George naming their eldest son Fred Haiden. George wanted to honour the brother he almost lost during the war, his twin brother, his best friend. He doesn't hold any blame towards Willa for what happened, but he is so thankful that Fred managed to survive because he doesn't know what he would have done had he lost his twin brother and his heart still goes out to Saxon who lost his. George knew there would be confusion between the two Fred's, but they had taken to calling the youngest Freddie.

It was when Willa and Oliver were attempting to come up with names for their next child, unsure as to if they were having a girl or a boy, that Willa decided she wanted to give the girl a name to remember Nymphadora.

Sirius, having overheard the discussion between the soon to be parents entered the room loudly proclaiming that no granddaughter of his would be called Nymphadora saying that it was a stupid name. Octavia claimed that he just couldn't stand the Astronomy tradition that his family follows.

A couple of weeks after Fred Haiden Weasley II was born, Willa went into labour again giving birth to a baby girl who was named Thea Dora.

Everyone tried to convince Willa that Thea and Dora were a bad combination of names since together it sounded very much like Theadora, but Willa didn't want to hear it, she was dead set on the names and Oliver just shook his head before softly kissing his wife's temple muttering something about being a stubborn as mule.

So here Octavia and Sirius were sitting at the Professor's table in the Great Hall, anxiously awaiting for the first years to arrive that were set to contain Turner, Cedric, Michael, Fred and Thea. Even though it was only three of them that were blood to the two of them, they loved both Fred and Michael dearly, as if they were family and treated them as such and were unsure as to where the five of them would be placed.

Sirius had spent the summer convincing them that the place to be was Gryffindor but it only ended up with him being scolded by Octavia as a result and Octavia told them that it didn't matter where they were sorted, their families loved them all the same. It was the same the previous years with Teddy being sorted into Hufflepuff, Victoire being sorted into Ravenclaw and Connor being sorted into Slytherin. Octavia claimed that Sirius just wanted someone in Gryffindor.

The group of first years were now being led into the Great Hall by Hagrid, who had been given the privilege of sorting the first years after McGonagall had taken up position of Headmistress, stating it was only right that he continued on with the first years, leading them from the station across the Black Lake and into the Great Hall to sort them himself.

Octavia couldn't help but shake her head at the sight of the five students standing towards the back of the group, watching as the youngest and only girl was openly arguing with two of them and it wouldn't take much to realise that she was arguing with Turner and Cedric.

"What do you think happened there?" Sirius whispered to Octavia, noticing the argument as well and she turned to smile at her husband.

"Well considering it only seems to be Thea who is drenched, I happen to know exactly what happened, I seem to recall the same thing happening to me many years ago." Octavia smiled fondly at Sirius, at the time she was terrified of having been pulled into the Black Lake but now both her and Sirius found the whole situation amusing.

"At least Thea can swim," Sirius mused before looking at the group.

Michael stood there with a hand over his mouth to hide the smile on his face as he watched Thea quietly yell at her brother and uncle for being the reason she fell into the lake.

He looked over at Fred, or Haiden as everyone in the family called him to not make confusion between the two Fred's since he didn't like being called Freddie after the age of 7, who looked like he was about to speak when Hagrid cleared his throat gathering all of their attentions.

Both Cedric and Turner flashed Thea a smile and it only took a moment before her anger aimed at them was gone and she hugged them both.

"Bennett, Michael," Hagrid called out first and Michael headed up to sit on the stool and have the hat placed on his head to be sorted.

Michael was the one that was unsure of his sorting the most, unsure as to where he would go since neither of his parents had attended Hogwarts, having been home schooled.

He sat there, not really paying attention to what the hat was saying in his head. He had grown up hearing that it doesn't matter what house you were sorted into, the best people come from all houses. No one house is worse than another.

"Slytherin!" The hat finally called out and Michael stood up and walked over to the table that was cheering, not without sneaking a look at the two Professors who were practically family to him unsure as to what they would think about his sorting.

He had heard the stories, they have been minimal, but he heard them all the same about how both of their families had been sorted into Slytherin for generations before those two came along. Teddy's grandmother had also been sorted into Slytherin when she was at Hogwarts.

"Black, Turner." Turner pulled away from Thea and Cedric before heading up towards Hagrid. He heard the whispering from the other students and just hoped it was because he was the son of two Professors and not because of what his surname meant.

Turner sat there as he listened to the hat muse over the likeness between him and his uncle, but also the similarities between him and his older sister.

Turner was pleased as the hat called out Gryffindor, pleased that he was able to make his parents proud, knowing that his sister and brother in law would also be pleased at him being placed in Gryffindor as well.

He walked over and took a seat at the Gryffindor table and watched as the rest of his friends and family got sorted.

"Weasley, Fred." Fred saluted Cedric and Thea and walked away as she broke down in giggles before skipping up and taking a seat on the stool.

Fred may have gotten everyone to call him Haiden, using the middle name he was given since he didn't want the added pressure of growing up having been named after someone. It also helped with removing the confusion between the two names. It wasn't that he hated being called Fred, he loved his uncle dearly and looked up to him, he just wanted to be his own person.

The whole Great Hall burst out laughing when the hat burst out complaining about another Weasley, if Haiden was anyone else he would have been embarrassed but instead he laughed before requesting to be placed in Gryffindor where they belonged, taking a stab at his cousin Victoire who had been sorted into Ravenclaw.

"Wood, Cedric."

"Bloody hate that name," Cedric complained before pulling away from Thea and heading towards the front.

Cedric was honoured that he had been named after someone who meant so much to his mother, he truly did. He just hated the expectations that came attached to the name Cedric, it was bad enough dealing the expectations that came with being a Wood because of both his parents having been Professional Quidditch players and were well known for being incredible players.

Willa and Oliver had sat down with Cedric and questioned why he hated the name, why he requested the other children to call him Miller instead. It was when he explained his reasoning, the pressure on top of it that they relented and began calling him Miller as well.

Miller headed towards the stool where Hagrid was standing, earning a wink from his grandfather before he took a seat allowing Hagrid to place the hat on his head.

Miller couldn't help but laugh at how the hat mentioned he was too much like the family before him, whether it be his parents or grandparents. It was something he had heard on several occasions and that he had seemed to inherit the 'Marauder' gene that they all had.

It was only seconds after that that the hat called out Gryffindor and it was pulled off his head.

As he climbed off the stool he looked over at where Michael was sitting at the Slytherin table, looking alone with his only hope being Thea but Miller knew, he knew that his sister would be in Gryffindor without a shred of doubt.

Thea was the bravest of them, the first to jump at anything and it was something his Aunt Emerson always commented on, the one leading the group to do stupid things and was thankful that Connor had been sorted into Slytherin but she also knew from past experiences that something as little as houses don't come between family.

"Wood, Thea." Hagrid called out and Thea walked up, sneaking a look at Michael before looking at her brother, uncle and cousin. She was torn.

She was torn as to where she wanted to be placed because one of her best friends wasn't sorted into Gryffindor with the rest of them, she wanted them all to be together in the one house but knew it wasn't possible and she was torn as to who she wanted to follow.

"Slytherin will be no good for you," the hat spoke in her head, startling her. "Much like your father, uncle and grandparents before you. I told them and I will tell you the same thing, you do not belong in Slytherin." A frown appeared on Thea's face as the hat spoke, not realising that the hat heard her wondering as to if she could possibly follow Michael.

Thea was barely able to question the fact that her mother wasn't mentioned in that before the hat mentioned the word 'hatstall' and Thea dropped the topic, she remembered being told that her mother almost ended up in Slytherin instead of Gryffindor but in the end the hat decided on Gryffindor.

Thea sat there swinging her legs back and forth on the stool as the hat remained silent within her head, unsure as to what it was thinking for her sorting.

"Gryffindor," the hat finally called out and Thea stood up and made her way over to the Gryffindor table, instantly noticing the expression on Michael's face, he was officially alone with her sorting into Gryffindor.

She knew that Michael would have Connor with him if he needed him, but she also knew that Connor had his own friends, paved his way at Hogwarts with the time he had without them just like Teddy and Victoire had done as well.

"It's a different time, he won't ever be alone." Miller spoke as he wrapped an arm around his sister's shoulders, the feast having appeared and noticing that his sister was still bothered.

"Exactly Theadora," Turner teased, only to be faced with a glare from his niece.

"Don't call me Theodora," Thea growled.

"I wonder if she would be any scarier if her hair wasn't already bright red, imagine what she would be like if it changed with her anger like it does with Ted," Turner suggested, not at all phased by the glare or growl coming from her.

Turner laughed as he leaned over and flicked Thea on the nose, they all laughed as she banged her head on the table.

"I need to meet some girls," she grumbled before lifting her head and looking to where the rest of the first years were sitting.

"You make friends with girls? Hah, that's a laugh sis," Miller teased, instantly letting out a groan at the sight of his sister looking at him with puppy dog eyes, he could never say no to that face. "Damn it Thea, stop looking at me like that."

Thea just shrugged before letting out a soft giggle and returning to her dinner.

"Didn't she go to Diagon Alley with dad while he took a Muggleborn shopping for their supplies? What was were her name?" Turner questioned, looking around for the girl.

"Her name was Arabella," Thea chirped before she got up from her seat and moved down the table to where Arabella was sitting.

"Hi there," she chirped taking a seat next to the girl with blonde curls.

Arabella turned and looked at Thea, smiling largely when she recognised her.

"How was the ride?" Thea questioned as she began loading food on the plate in front of her.

A/N So here it is, the end of the story. I want to thank every single one of you who has continued to follow on with my story through all the bumps and my lack of posting. I never planned on Willa having twins, I wanted there to be something that I didn't give away for chapters to come when I first introduced the next generation within Octavia's dreams.

I left the book off at this point because at one point I may post a third book that will follow the next generation through their time at Hogwarts but for now I don't have enough of a storyline to begin posting it but I do have some smaller one shot moments that take place between Willa falling pregnant and the children arriving at Hogwarts that I will begin posting. I will post the first one side by side with this chapter, it will be titled 'Looking in Through the Window' and the first one will introduce Arabella as she will have a vital role in a possible future book.

I want to thank everyone who has reviewed along the way, reviews mean the world to me. I also want to thank Raven that flies at night and Son of Whitebeard for reviewing on the last chapter as well.
