After losing their only vehicle and luggage that was in and on it, the Louds now have no way to get to the Hotel in time as they were now sitting on the curb near the gas station. The only one not on the curb was Sr. who was at a payphone, hanging up. "Okay, guys. I called the cops and they're gonna try to track down Vanzilla."
"Oh...I can't believe we're gonna miss out on the bumper boats." Lincoln groaned upset. "Don't forget the horseback riding." Added Lori. "And the fudge! Oh, the fudge!" Lola whines before Lynn Sr. gave a serious look. "No, hang on. Our vacation's not over."
He then wiped away a tear. "Vanzilla or not, we need to find a way to get to the hotel." Lynn Jr. on cue noticed something close by and points. "Boom! There's a bus station right down the street!" They began to cheer as they run to the bus station.
"Alright!"
Leni agrees with Lincoln. "We can, like, still do this." Rita then realizes something and ceases the family's run. "Oh, wait. I just remembered...Honey?" He looked at her.
"Your wallet and my purse are both in Vanzilla." Lynn Sr. tells her. "That's not good. We need to find a way to get some money now." To their luck, something caught his eye. Sr. passed his wife and sees a place called Mud Flap Café. On one of the windows and or walls, there appears to be a poster with a cash logo on it.
He hummed as he read the poster. "Open mic contest? First place wins Cash Prize." He hummed with a smile. "That's it! We'll just have to raise some cash. And Ol' Ding-a-ling Loud has a plan."
"Now, Father, don't be so hard on yourself. Anyone could've lost the van." Lisa told her Father before he told her. "What I meant was, Ding-a-ling as in...My cowbell!" He takes the said instrument out and plays it. "Ah."
Was all Lisa said, before Lola questioned, looking suspicious. "So, he doesn't have his wallet, but he has his cowbell?" Lisa nods. "So both definitions of "Ding-a-ling" apply."
Inside the Café
"The Mud Flap Cafe is pleased to present... the Load family."
"Loud!" The siblings all shouted which the Waiter thought was them asking for him to speak up. "The Load family!" After leaving the stage the family of 13 began to wear sunglasses as Sr. began to sing.
"Wanted a family vacation-Just to get out of town-Had it all planned-Packed up the van-Ended up in a ditch somehow-We've got the blues, baby-Those road trippin' blues. Lori, Leni, Luan, Lana, Lola, and Lisa then sung along. "Bad, bad news." The rest joined in. "These seats smell weird-The baby is crying-She's probably mad we left her behind."

"La la la. It was one big family throw up-From the egg salad gone wrong-And that's how all of us wound up, broke on stage singing this song."

Once they've finished they looked at the audience who stood silent at first, making the Louds at first have doubts that they did well, before everyone began to suddenly cheer at their performance and throw money around. Seeing this Luna smiled and picks up some of the money that was tossed to them. "Looks like we got a ticket to ride, dudes!"
Outside
At the Ticket transition, the family began heading towards the bus. "Wait, we need a headcount." She began to point at each of them, counting. "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10...Dang it. Forgot Lily again." She then felt something tug her hair. "Ow!" She looks down to see an angry Lily looking up at her.
"Goo!"
She rubs the side of her head where the hair was pulled. "Oh. Okay, then who are we missing?" Her question was answered by the sound of an electric guitar back at the Café. "Luna!" They shouted and ran back inside to get her as Lynn shouted while they grabbed her.
"Luna, we're gonna miss the bus!" While running out of the building Luna shouted. "GOODNIGHT, MUD FLAP CAFE!" She then began to run with her family and inside the bus that looks a bit off.
"Let's save this vacation!" As they sat down the Bus Driver gets back on the bus and looks behind him to see the Family, confusing him. "Oh, I just thought I was transporting one. Oh well."
He shrugged it off and drives off. While the bus moves Lincoln noticed something off. "Where'd all the other passengers go?" Leni and Luna sunk down in their seats, staying as close as possible to Lincoln, noticing how, old the bus almost look. Lola just shrugged it off. "Who cares? We got the bus to ourselves."
"Well, except for him." Luan points at the back, which everyone looked at seeing a large prisoner handcuffed at the very back seat and growling, unhappy for the arrest he's in. "Honey, do you think there's something strange about this bus?"
Lynn Sr. nodded. "Well, I've never seen one with shackles...But it's probably a safety thing." He told his wife as they looked at the shackles that were next to them. "Or maybe, it's a prison thing." Sr. gasped at the realization.
"You're right. Which means that guy back there is..." They looked back at the prisoner in worry. Lily was patting the prisoner's face, he didn't seem to care about that, and Lana was observing one of his tattoos. "Cool tattoos, mister. But I think your tattoo artist forgot to give this lady clothes. Don't worry, I'll fix it."
She took out the same colored marker and draws on his arm. The parents began to look worried and shouted. "STOP THE BUS!" The bus driver stops for them. As they began to get off Leni, unaware, lost her hairpin, which flew to the back to the prisoner who looked at the pin and smiled, seeing his chance to escape.
Once the Louds got off and were in the middle of a highway, Lily being held by her mother sees the prisoner open the back door of the bus, dropping the handcuffs he was in before jumping off and landing in a bush nearby. The youngest Loud just laughed as Sr. told everyone.
"Chins up, family. This vacation isn't over. Surely, some good Samaritan will give us a ride."
Speaking of, a car began to drive down the road towards their direction. "Oh, here we are!" He began to wave his hands along with his family to get the drivers attention. Meanwhile, in the car, the passenger, female, was nervous and told her husband who's driving. "Keep going. Don't make eye contact." They buried their face in the maps they have, driving by.
"Aw, come on!" Lincoln shouted along with Lynn. "Weak!" Lisa fixed her glasses before speaking. "It's clear what the problem is here. No motorist is going to pick up a family of 13. I suggest we employ a technique known as, "Hide the Iceberg"."
The family looked at her confused before she explained specifically. "We put our best 10% forward, and conceal the rest." They then got it and began to hide behind Rita who was holding Lily who gives a thumbs up, all standing on the side of the road. To their luck, a car comes along. Revealing two parents and a daughter.
"Oh, look at that poor lady and her baby." The husband said before looking at his wife. "Pull over." She does so before the rest of the family came out waving, which caused the family in the car to gasp. Just as they were about to drive off Sr. jumps on the windshield, greeting and pleading. "HI! WOULD YOU MIND PULLING OVER, PLEASE?!"
The family in the car just scream and swerve almost crashing before the lady pulls a lever for the windshield wipers, which turned on and wiped Lynn Sr. off the car, making him land on his stomach. "Well, that was a wash." Luan began to laugh from her joke.
"Too soon, honey." Sr. told her as began to sit down, along with his family, all of them wondering what to do now. During this Lana's stomach began to act up. "Uh-Oh." She stands up and tells them. "Excuse me guys, gotta lighten my load."
The Twin walks into bushes behind all of them while they wait. Not even a second, Lana gasp was heard. "Whoa! You guys have to see this!" Rita looks in the direction of her daughter's voice. "Just fill up the hole, sweetie. We don't need to see it."
"No not that. I found our ticket out of here!" The family perks up and head into the bushes. "Watch your step." Once on the other side they then spotted Lana who was on top of an aircraft plane. "Sigh...That thing will never fly." Lana took out one of her tools and told Lucy. "Leave that to me. I'll have her up and running in no time!"
While fixing up the plane, Luna tells her. "Well, even so, who's gonna fly it?" Lincoln agrees. "I never saw any of us fly a plane before...Except for Pop Pop, I'm sure I've seen him fly one." Leni smiles. "Lincoln that's a great idea, he can help us."
"Leni, Pop Pop is miles away, he wouldn't make it in time to fly a plane." Leni looked down a bit from Lori's words before Rita spoke. "I can fly the plane. Pop Pop taught me." She told her family as she handed her husband Lily. "Mom, that's so cool!" Lynn said as their Mom nods. "That's nothing. You should see me pop wheelies in a tank, baby."
Lynn Sr. gasps in fright. "Is there anything else we don't know about you, honey? Honey? Rita?" He asked worriedly before Lana shouted. "All fixed!" They all looked and saw the plane all fixed up with a diaper attached to it. "Some parts were missing, so I had to improvise."
"With a diaper?" Lana nodded before adding in. "A nighttime diaper. For extra strength. I even found some paint to give ol' shaky a facelift." She points to the front, revealing the front of the plane has an angry face now. "Okay, everyone ready?"
The family nodded as they all get into the plane with Rita putting on airline goggles. She then starts the plane. "Uh, you sure you know what you're doing? Got our whole family in here." Rita stops the plane and looks around before laying her eyes at the top of it.
"Ah! Except, Lily!"
She picks up her youngest daughter and pulls her down as the others glare at her, which she noticed and told them in defense. "Hey, that one is on all of you! I'm flying the plane here." She then starts the plane again, this time making it move forward, only inches off the ground.
"Mom? You, uh...see the storehouse, right?"
She looked confused before noticing the said tower, causing everyone to start panicking. In time, Rita pulls up, making the plane fly over and take to the skies. The family sighs with relief. "Banzilly." Everyone awwed at Lily's words. "Actually, sweetie, this is an airplane."
"Banzilly! Banzilly!" Lily said, looking a bit mad as she points down, making everyone look and see what she's talking about. "Whoa, the Chill-ster's right, dudes. Look over there!"
Luna points too as they see the car carrier that has their beloved Vanzilla. "My baby! After that car carrier!" Sr. pointed towards the carrier. "Wait what about our 8:00 check-in time?"
"The way your mother flies, that shouldn't be a problem." He told them all as Rita continues flies towards the vehicle holding their Van. "Move it, slowpoke! I'm behind schedule!"
The man driving shouted at another before passing him with speed. "Huh?" He then gazed at a sign he was passing and reads it. "Speed limit enforced by aircraft? Yeah, I'll bet." He lays back to continue before noticing a plane coming towards him.
"Dang it! If I get one more ticket, I'll be driving a golf cart!" He drives faster and goes through a corn maze. "Pop-Pop taught me how to handle wise guys like this. Let's take it to him!" Rita told her family and follows the driver. During this, their stuff on top of Vanzilla starts flying out.
Everyone noticed the stuff flying towards them and began to grab them each time they fly towards them. "My hi-hat! Bogus!" Luna shouts as she catches her drum cymbals. "My kettlebells! Crud!" Lynn shouted as she caught her workout equipment.
"My puzzles! Ding dang darn it!" Unlike the kids, Sr. ducks, losing the puzzles games. After that, the driver goes through a barn, causing all of the stuff to fall off Vanzilla, along with Vanzilla's roof itself. "AAH! MY BABY!"
Lynn Sr. shouted in shock looking horrified as Leni cheered. "Yay! Now it's a convertible!" Lynn admits to the family. "Man, nothing stops this guy!" Lincoln realizes. "Wait a minute, we have a crop-duster."
"Get in front of him!"
Rita nods and flies the plane in front of the driver as Luna shouted. "Now Lincoln!" He nods and turns the knob. "Eat hot fertilizer!" A green fog comes out of the crop-duster, covering the driver's windshield. He screams and crashes into a bale of hay, the family thought he was injured before he came out shouting before running away.
"You'll never get me, po-po!" Once he was gone the family cheered in victory as Lisa shouts. "Flying H!" Suddenly Lynn interrupted. "Wait? He thought we were cops?"
They decided not to go deep into that as Rita lands the plane before they rush over to the van as Sr. told the others. "Okay, people. We've got a check-in to make!" He looks at Vanzilla close up, having some sweat the side of his head.
"Ah...Uh, it's okay. It's just a little scratched." Surprising to them, Hops, El Diablo, and Bitey pop-up and smiled as they're happy to see Lana again, who ran and hugged them. "My babies! I thought I lost you!" Lola began speaking sarcastically. "Wouldn't that have been tragic."
During this, Lily saw a bale of hay roll up to the plane, revealing the prisoner from earlier. He chuckles and gets on the plane, flying away. Lily only giggled again when this happened.
Nighttime
After a little while, the Loud family drive up a hill and finally make it to the Weeping Willow with what's left of Vanzilla. Just as they parked the tires gave out as Sr. looked at his watch. "It's one minute to 8:00. We're gonna have to hoof it!" They get out and run inside the resort. Once inside the father puts some money on the front desk.
"Lynn Loud Sr. checking in."
The concierge types on the computer in front of her and notices something. "Oh no. I'm so sorry, Mr. Loud. But you missed your check-in time, and we gave away your rooms." The family was in shock. "But, but- But, but it's 8:00!"
"Actually, sir...It's 8:35." Lynn Sr. looked at his watch, seeing that it's broken. "Oh, my watch stopped. How did that happen?" It then hit his head. "My puzzles!" He had a flashback revealing one of the puzzle boxes hitting the top of the watch. After that, he pleaded. "Ah, please, can't you give us another room? We'll take anything you got!"
The woman looks at the results she typed in. "I'm so sorry. The entire hotel is full." Luan tells her. "You don't know what we've been through." Luna smiled, trying to lighten up the mood. "I've got a song about it!" Rita stops her. "Not now, honey." The woman apologizes. "I'm sorry. I'd love to help you folks, but there's really nothing I can do."
"But there is something I can do."
The Louds turn to the direction of the voice and see who it is. "Farmer Speedy?" The Farmer they helped earlier today nods. "If it wasn't for you guys, I probably would've missed the check-in myself. So, the least I can do is help you, folks, out. You're staying with me."
"Well, that's sweet, mister, but we're a pretty big family. How would you have enough space for all of us?" Lola questioned before the Farmer told them. "Oh, not a problem. I've got the whole top floor. Let me introduce myself, I'm Jerry Kling, the cherry king." He holds up a jar of his company-branded cherries.
Lynn Sr. gasps knowing who he is. "What? I-I cook with your cherries all the time." The Farmer, now known as Jerry Kling walks by them. "Well, come on, folks. Let me show you to your quarters." The Louds chatter excitedly as they followed him.
"Aw, this was very cherry-table of you. Up until now, this vacation was the pits." Luan and a few others laughed, with some giving a glare to her. "Luan." The said Sister admits. "Okay. I'll can it." She laughs from that.
Next Day
The Loud Family were enjoying their vacation at the Weeping Willow. Lori, Leni, Luan, and Lucy are riding the horses they wanted to try, with Leni facing the wrong way, looking confused. As for Luna, Lynn, Lincoln, Lana, and Lisa, they're on tubes in the lake, squirting each other with water guns while Jerry and Lola snacked on some of his cherries at the dock, with Rita and Lynn Sr. relaxing while Lily makes a sand castle.
"Well, honey, we made it. Our first real family vacation." Rita nods. "I think we should make this a Loud family tradition." They clink their drinks together and sipped. But from far away, the prisoner from before is still on the plane he practically stole, celebrating his freedom.
He gave a laugh of joy before shouting. "I'm free! Woo-hoo!" The celebration was cut short when the plane began to shudder, alerting the prisoner who noticed he was running out of fuel. When the engine shut down, the plane began to fall while the prisoner stood still above the sky, like some sort of Looney Tunes cartoon.
"Dang it."
He then falls letting out a scream until he lands inside the local prison he was being transported to yesterday. The sound of a gate clanking shut is heard, ruling out the possibilities of the prisoner's freedom.
