Taurus had Sapphire, Garnet, and Topaz follow the older bot until they could find Hook or Ratchet to confirm if the were kin or not. And in what seemed like relatively little time, the four managed to find Hook as Ratchet was busy helping another bunch of bots hoping to find a family. "Taurus, may I ask why you have those three younglings following you?" Hook asked, as Taurus didn't usually draw much attention from bots at the center.
"Well, I was coming to see if I could find any friends from the place where I had been kept at when these three approached me thinking we could be related. I don't know if we are related, but we didn't figure it would hurt to check" Taurus answered, a bit puzzled himself at this strange development.
"Alright" hook answered and then he scanned the three young bots who were trying to find out. Hook shook his helm when he realized the truth.
"What's wrong? Aren't we related?" Sapphire asked worriedly.
"You are Half siblings, but…" Hook stated.
"But what?" Taurus asked, not liking where this was headed.
"But this combination should not be possible" Hook stated.
"Why not?" Garnet asked, not liking the way the medic was acting.
"Because at the time you were sparked, the union would have been forbidden" Hook stated, not wanting to reveal the truth.
But Taurus wasn't going to let Hook off the hook so to speak. "I demand that you tell us the truth or I will bring my father into this" Taurus stated.
Hook sighed. "They were sparked to either Starscream or Optimus, as that is the only data in the triplets" Hook reluctantly revealed to the four young bots.
Taurus sighed, as he understood, but the other three were puzzled. "Why is it a shame to know who are creators were?" Topaz asked, having remained mostly quiet. He didn't like the way this was going.
"I think that is a better question for Optimus to answer" Hook stated truthfully, sending the four young bots off. It took some convincing but soon the four left. Hook ran to his office to cool off. He remembered these three bots now. Hook had been the one who purged the memories of Optimus and Starscream of these three little ones so long ago. Hook could only hope Primus had restored Optimus' memory so that these young ones could learn the truth and receive the answers they sought.
The four headed out, not sure about the reaction of the medic. "He seemed off" Sapphire blurted out, referring to the medic. Taurus didn't say anything as he had a bad feeling these three were sent away because Megatron, at the time, didn't approve of the union that had created the bots. The four continued on, all hoping that this meeting would go well, but only time would tell.
