Taurus was heading back to his home with the three triplets Sapphire, Garnet, and Topaz. Taurus had a feeling why these three had been sent off. The only question was why had a Megatron let them survive as Taurus had been told many tales of what a monster Megatron had been before the great transformation. "Is something wrong, Taurus?" Sapphire asked, seeing the intense look on the slightly older bot's face.
"I know you guys want answers. Answers that only few can give you. All I ask is that you prepare yourselves for an answer or answers you may not like" Taurus warned, wanting and hoping for the best.
"Why do you say that?" Garnet asked, not liking Taurus' tone.
"Because when I found my parents and that I had been given away, I found out things that I didn't like" Taurus stated. He didn't want to pop their bubble of hope so to speak, but he felt compelled to warn them that they may not like the answers they receive.
"Whatever happens, I just want to meet my creators and be accepted" Topaz offered up, ever the optimist. Taurus hoped that their world wouldn't be shattered when they learned the truth.
Soon enough, the four bots arrived at the place where Optimus and Megatron lived. Taurus thought little of it, as he knew this was his family, but the other three were stunned. "Why are we here?" Sapphire asked, as amazed as her triplet brothers.
"Because this is where Optimus lives with his mate. Hook asked me to take you to Optimus" Taurus explained, leaving out that Optimus' mate was Megatron, the leader of Cybertron.
"Is Optimus bonded to Starscream?" Topaz asked, very curious and hopeful.
"No. Optimus is bonded….to Megatron" Taurus finally revealed.
The three nodded, as they were too shocked to speak at first. They began to realize why Taurus had been trying to warn them of the answers they sought. "Are you sure they can help us?" Garnet asked, suddenly liking this less and less.
"Yes, I believe they can and will help you with the answers you seek" Taurus answered, leading the three inside. He could only hope that Optimus was able to help. They moved closer towards the bot they sought, all hoping for a good outcome, though nothing looked for sure. Taurus prayed hard that the truth that would be revealed wouldn't crush the poor bots he had brought home.
