Chapter 71 The Aftermath III

(Location: Argus coast line northern region of the Anima continent Kingdom of Mistral Remnant)

Jaune kept on swimming holding unconscious Velvet all over the waters. He had no idea how long he's been swimming, hoping to find shallow ground over the tall cliffs of the coast. The older Crowe was too weak and tired to do anything after she transformed into her animal form in order to defeat the Leviathan. She turned into that giant dragon and beat the crap out of it surpassing her time limit. It's a good she changed back when she did or Cordovin would have fire that cannon. The old woman truly has many tricks on her sleeve. The blond leader kept swimming feeling the low temperature of the water, it was cold. It should be expected considering the location of Argus. It was just a few hours away from the continent of Solitus. Getting his girlfriend to the shore was his top priority. He wondered if the others were all right. They were supposed to regroup at his sister's house and join forces to resume fighting the flying Grimm that were still in the city.

At least the Leviathan was out of the way. So, they have avoided greater danger. If they were still aiding the military, he will have to go too. He was still in top shape to fight. Even after fighting that therion and speaking of the creature, he thought of not telling Velvet about it. It obviously knew her so he shouldn't brought her up. Anything to not mention the young woman's past. How many Sphinx were still around, they won't win unless all those Grimm are taken out. It was the only way to prevent any more Manticores from coming. As long as the city doesn't end up getting destroyed like Beacon or Haven, it will be a victory for them. Jaune was able to see land ahead, he finally left the cliffs heading a shore. If it weren't for the cold weather it could have been mistaken for a beach. Swimming faster now the blond reached the shore helping the older Crowe.

The Arc was hoping everything was all right. The military, his friend it was okay. Probably they weren't that many Grimm left. That all of this will be over soon, also that was a problem. It was worrying him because, if the battle is over then he and everyone are done. Cordovin would hunt them down and arrest them for committing their crimes. She was hell bent in doing that as soon as this mess clears out. That's why they should start making a break for it. Though he would hate to leave like this. Without saying a word to his sister, her wife and his nephew. Not to mention they didn't knew a thing about why they were on this journey. And still they chose to helped him with his plan. Saphron would definitely get upset if he leaves without a goodbye. The blond shook his head as walked over the shore carrying Velvet. From the look of things they might be minutes away from reaching the city.

The Huntsman noticed the long haired woman was stirring. She was already coming to, that was fast. She sure looked pretty tire to be awake. The cold water could be the reason, he was freezing as well as her. How she was going to stay unconscious if she was cold as hell. Or maybe the path is longer than he thought and he couldn't let her walk.

"Can you walk?"

"Barely."

"Get on my back. I'll carry you."

Velvet blushed feeling embarrassed. This wasn't the time or the place and here she was feeling like some school girl giggling over her crush.

"You can't walk. It's okay."

"I might be heavy" why she teased him, it was beyond her.

"You're not" he tolled his eyes.

Clearing the pink shade on her cheeks the older Crowe got on the Arc's back. Nope she wasn't heavy in the least. If she was it was no big deal for him with all of the training he's done before attending Beacon and after the fall of the school. As he walked the path further his ears rang hearing the sound of guns and explosion in the distance. The military was still fighting so his friends are doing the same. But he didn't know what to do. He couldn't go to the battlefield carrying Velvet, she was in no condition to fight after exhausting herself fighting the Leviathan via her transformation. It will leave him with no choice but to stay on the side lines. At least until she recovers but that wasn't looking any time soon. Going further he saw an Atlas air ship, Maria stood outside. She was all right after leaving them in the city to aid the air forces.

"There you two are. Glad to see you're still in one piece. I landed just in time when the ship ran out of fuel. I got lucky."

"Same. How is it looking out there?" he really wanted to know.

"Last I checked, it's good. We are winning and a battle fleet just arrived to provide support. I'd say the military has this in the bag. Seems Atlas has decided to sent them reinforcements at the last second."

"That's good" he felt better and relief" that means everyone is safe.

"More importantly they should be ready to leave this place, all of us. I know Cordo, and as soon as all of the Grimm have been taken care of she will begin her manhunt. We can't stay here another minute."

"All right, I call the others and tell them where to-"

"Halt!"

"Meet up" he finished.

It was too late to do anything. As Jaune and Maria saw three Atlas soldiers pointing their weapons. Velvet opened her eyes at the soldiers and groaned. They've been caught and there was nothing she could do in her current condition. Running was out of the question, surrendering was the right thing to do.

"Hands in the air!"

"Watch where you point that thing!" argued the old woman.

"Ma'am we found some of them. A young man and woman and an old woman."

*That's Calavera, excellent. Make them call the others and to come to the base so they can surrender. They will not dare leave their comrades behind.*

"You heard her, call them."

Jaune hesitated for a moment before his scroll beeped, opening he saw Laphicet was calling him. With the soldiers still pointing their weapons he didn't had a choice but to accept the call.

*Jaune, is Velvet all right?!*

"She's okay. She's just tired. Where are you guys?"

*We're not that far from the coast. We'll come to you before getting to Maria and leave the city.*

"Yeah, about that. I don't think that will be happening."

*Why's that?*

"Because the military have Maria...And us too."

There was a long pause probably because the younger Crowe was shocked they got caught.

"Tell the others to come to the base" he ended the call without getting a response" there, I called them, they will come."

"All right move them out!"

The three were being led by the soldiers taking them to an air ship not that far from their position. They boarded the ship while Maria was arguing to keep their hands off her. Obviously she wasn't happy that she's been apprehended by the military and that Cordovin won. Guess from here there's only one place they'll be going, and it's not Atlas.

Laphicet closed his scroll still in shocked at what he just heard. Everyone was looking at him worried. His face could say it all that something has happened. So the young Crowe told the group. They obviously didn't took it well. If the military has them, they didn't had a choice but to turn themselves in too. Because none of them were willing to leave them behind. It was time to face the music and the reality of their failure that was their plan. Ruby gave a nod to everyone, knowing what to do. Qrow wasn't happy, now he could really use a drink. Everyone else understood it was the only thing left to do. Resistance was out of the questions, they'll be only getting themselves into more trouble. No words were said as they all headed towards the base. Pretty sure Cordovin will be there to rub it in their noses. They knew helping them with the Grimm wasn't going to cut it.

"At least we got to killed some Grimm. It was worth it" said Cardin trying to light up the mood.

Yang smiled, true. They took out plenty for their last mission. The truth was still hitting them. They were all going to jail. No going to Atlas, no resuming their journey, no meeting up with Ironwood, nothing. Just one big cell where who knows how long they'll be spending their time there. Oscar wasn't expecting this. Leave his home for a long journey, only to end up behind bars. His aunt will be furious then again, she was already angry at him for leaving in the first place. Ren and Nora didn't seemed like they regretted their actions. Helping the military with the Grimm was the right thing to do. They were part of the problem for their arrival and now, their leader was in trouble. So they will join him. Both took their hands because they not be able to hold hands from here on. As for Sienna Khan, since she was the only one who wasn't part of the heist she honestly didn't know what to do.

The tigress wanted to check up on things at Vale with Beacon and the city. She remained in deep thought. Those thoughts were dispelled as Blake told her to leave Argus immediately. She wasn't part of their plan, so she was free from committing any crimes. It was too soon to be in prison as the cat faunus gave her a hug thanking her again for helping her with Adam. The former High Leader watched them go it wasn't fair they were planning to get arrested for doing the right thing. Though they did something illegal she was sure they have their reasons. From what she has heard about this Cordovin, she's a real pain in the back. Not allowing them to go to Atlas security protocols and she also had a feeling the dust embargo has something to do with it. She will be sticking around for a bit, make sure there weren't any more Grimm in the city.

Caroline Cordovi stood high and mighty, so proud with a grin on her features. She felt like she was recharged by the glorious strength that is the Kingdom of Atlas. Grimm attacked Argus, her men and reinforcements took care of it. Completely disregarding the fact the group of brats helped defend the city. Or the fact that the Leviathan was defeated by an unknown creature that suddenly disappeared. What's important, the citizens were safe and her men were currently scouting the city for any signs of Grimm. Just to make sure the coast was clear. Afterwards, they can start with retrieving civilians from the shelters back to their households. So things will go back to the way they are. Best of all, she has outwitted those brats and that witch Calavera. They thought they could get away leaving for Atlas, but she has sure showed them. The might of Atlas always win. Justice always prevails.

How she was going to enjoy this moment so much. To rub it in the witch's ugly wrinkled face and also that Velvet who dared make a mockery of her. Yes, revenge is so sweet, the young woman was present with her and some of her men at the front of the military base. But she wasn't in better shape, so she will mock her back when she's awake. Right now she needed to put those thieves in their place, right below her boots. She will gloat at them until she's satisfied, she will show them how inferior they are and how superior she is. Laughing like a maniac because in the end, justice wins. Good triumphs over evil and as long as she's in charge of this base, no one will set their foot on the great kingdom that is Atlas. She couldn't wait to see their faces and when they're all sent to their cells. Her victory needs to be celebrated she will treat her men to a fine meal after mourning the ones she lost on this battle.

As expected making the old hag to give another satisfactory grin. The rest of the hijackers arrived with a couple of her men behind them. Nowhere to run or hide, they have been caught. This is the punishment when you attempt to steal from Caroline Cordovin. Crime does pay specially when it comes to the kingdom of Atlas. No one can escape it Gazing at them, they were obviously not happy specially Maria that made her very happy. Getting away with it, I don't think so. She can imagine how pleased General Ironwood will be that she stop these delinquents. Maybe get a promotion a new rank. Still she was doing her job, nothing can make her happy than that. Aware they won't use force because they will be getting into bigger trouble. Coming quietly after the Grimm attack is a small trait she can admire. She waited until they were all close gazing at their faces, the losers and she the winner.

"I did say this isn't over" she kept her grin" did you honestly think I was going to forget any of you? I had my eyes on all of you since this whole mess started. I would never let you go. It would look bad on me and my men."

"But what about the Grimm?" said Jaune.

"Our forces have already disposed of every last one of them. They're currently patrolling the city for any signs. You would think I'd be that careless?"

"This is the thanks we get for helping you? Thanks for the hospitality Cordo" said Maria.

"Don't test me. Do you have anything to say for yourself Calavera?"

"As a matter of fact yes. You can kiss my old and wrinkle-"

"SILENCE!" the hag glared before turning to Velvet.

By now, the older Crowe got off from Jaune's back. She was still feeling weak from her transformation, but she was able to remain on her feet. Guess putting the blame on herself in exchange that everyone else will be let go is out of the question. Not after Cordo heard her. Besides, Jaune and the rest wouldn't want her to get arrested for their sake.

"As for you. Any last words before I send you off."

"Bite me" she could care less.

"You're both insolent and rude. I will take great pleasure in this. Arrest them all at once!"

The soldiers have immediately cuffed the group.

"Now we're going to have a criminal record" said Cardin.

"From students of Beacon to criminals" said Weiss with a sigh.

Qrowonly shook his head, his semblance was truly a pain when he was around people. That's why he was always better when he's alone. Now, they won't be getting to Atlas spending how many years behind bars. Unless Ironwood does something, wondering if the letter he wrote to him reached him by now.

"Make sure that all of them keep Adam Taurus some company."

"You will not do such thing."

"Who dares-"

Cordovin glared to whoever had the nerve to say that to her. Then, she paused and her face turned pale the same color as her uniform. It made her shivered as standing before her was Winter with her own men behind her. Everyone was shocked while Weiss was trying to hide from her. If she finds out what she did, she was going to be very upset with her. The older Schnee was wearing a different uniform than the one she usually wears. A white collared undershirt, a necktie that connects to her new brooch, and a girdle underneath the lapels of her coat. Navy blue gloves and pants and sports a dust pouch around her waist. Cordo realized she was the one on that Altesian battle fleet. How could she have so foolish not to think Atlas will sent a high rank officer. The white haired woman was giving a very cold stare at the hag making her to stay frozen in her place.

Immediately Cordovin has bowed down not daring to make eye contact with the young Specialist" Specialist Schnee...It is more than an honor to have you here. I humbly thank you for the assistance, I admit we were in quite a bind with the Grimm."

"It does seem like your troops could use the help. It seems I have come at the right time. Now that the situation has calmed down Special Operative Caroline Cordovin, why have you arrested these people?"

"They are criminals! They stole one of my air ships and wrecked the Altessian Paladin King and we were unable to handle a Leviathan that came along with that swarm of flying Grimm."

Winter was now gazing at her younger sister who wanted to shrink to the size of a flea right about now. Then gazed at Qrow with disapproval glare, and then at Velvet who only threw her hands at the air. The white haired woman just sighed while rubbing her forehead. She will be giving her sister a lecture as well as the Branwen and the older Crowe later. Right now, she needed to address the current situation with the older woman.

"A Leviathan you say? You said the Paladin King is out of commission unable to operate. Who took it out?"

"Well um...It was defeated by the dragon."

"A dragon?" the older Schnee didn't believed her squat" a dragon came, fought the Leviathan and killed it. Is that what you're trying to say Cordovin?"

"I know it sounds impossible but I saw it, my men at the control room saw it too. I gave the order to use the Hydra Cannon on it when it suddenly disappeared."

"You were planning to use a weapon that is currently unfinished at something you claimed to have disappeared?"

"I would never come up with such ludicrous things Specialist Schnee but it's all true. Have I ever lie to you not once? Not even to General Ironwood. I am always true to my word."

"If what you say is true then, we owe this dragon a debt of gratitude."

"You're welcome" Velvet decided to let Winter handle things.

"In other words, if the Leviathan would have never been defeated. Without the Paladin King, the city of Argus would have mostly been destroyed. Even If we manage to to get rid of all the flying Grimm, the Leviathan is too powerful for any air ship or fleet to match it's brute strength. It was the biggest threat and this threat was dealt with by an unexpected creature. I doubt it was a Grimm I'm no Grimm expert but they would never fight against each other."

The group stood silent, with Winter's presence it's like the whole place have been frozen solid. Her words, gaze and posture she truly means business. Qrow knew when to stay quiet, the same with Velvet, Jaune, Ruby, Weiss and everyone else. They weren't going to interrupt this conversation. Besides, there has to be a reason why the older Schnee is here. It can't be a coincidence that she came here just in time to finish the remaining Grimm giving the military an extra hand. The former heiress was trying to keep a stiff face but failed. She was scared when her sister looked at her after finding out of her crime. Angry will be an understatement. It will be a miracle if she remains alive after this.

"Getting to the matter at hand. Velvet and Qrow, can you explain to me why on Remnant would you attempt stealing an air ship and destroy private property of the Atlas Military?" the Specialist was glaring at the two.

"We asked nicely but she refused to give us a pass to Atlas. With the embargo only Altesian ships are allow to leave. Cordovin wasn't interested even with the former heiress of the SDC present, she still refused" said the scythe Huntsman.

"I told her General Ironwood is expecting us and it's clear she didn't believed me with the way she walked out on us. Time is something we don't have, so we did things our way because she didn't left us a choice. I won't denied what we did was wrong and illegal. But it is a very urgent matter for us to go to Atlas. I'm sure you understand?" followed the former teacher.

Winter gave a nod of course she understood. She does know about the maidens, the relics and Salem thanks to the older Crowe before the Fall of Beacon. But stealing and destroying military property. And just when she thought her younger sister would be in good hands, this happens.

"Cordovin, is this true?"

"I-I-I...Yes, I didn't allowed them passage to Atlas because we have strict security policies. We can't just give a lift to complete strangers."

"So my sister is among those strangers?" Winter raised an eyebrow at the hag.

"I'm aware of your sister's presence ma'am. I was willing to give her a ride back to her home with the exception that she goes alone. Apparently, they were against the idea. What other choice do I have? I can't trust strangers, let alone let them go to Atlas. I have taken an oath to serve and protect our kingdom as well as the citizens of Argus. After seeing what they can do first hand, they are not to be trusted. Even when they chose to fight the Grimm."

"They aided your men during the Grimm attack?"

"Yes ma'am, they did. But that doesn't exclude their past actions. They have committed a serious crime and they must be punish for it. It is the law."

"Won't argue with that, you make a valid point. Let's change the topic. Velvet mentioned General Ironwood expecting them to come to Atlas. Did you believe her?"

"No I didn't, and I still don't" the older woman gave a glare at the older Crowe who only ignored her.

"Then I'm afraid you're mistaken Cordovin. You see, a few weeks back the General received a letter written by Qrow Branwen explaining the events that took place in Haven Academy and that they were planning to come to Argus in order to get to Atlas under urgent matters that can only be discuss personally with him. It is the reason why I came here. I am under General Ironwood's orders to bring Velvet Crowe, Qrow Branwen and the rest of their group with me to Atlas."

Cordo was baffled not believing what she just heard. The group hide their smirks, they were safe from this mess. Maria was the first to mocked the old operative sticking her tongue, as she glared. Everyone was feeling relief except for Weiss. She knew her sister better than anyone and she was in deep trouble. To get ready for one of her lectures and maybe even more. Qrow grinned with no shame, glad to know his letter actually reached Ironwood on time that he will send Winter to pick them up. Velvet wanted to laugh at the hag, mock her just like Maria. But because she was still feeling weak, she chose not to. Though she wouldn't want to be in the older woman's shoes right now with the way the older Schnee was staring at her. The Specialist wasn't done yet as she has taken an envelope from one of her pockets. The Branwen grinned further recognizing his hand writing.

"Furthermore, I brought the letter Qrow Branwen sent to the General as evidence that he was expecting their arrival in the coming weeks. When he noticed there has been a delay, he sent me to retrieve them. Feel free to read it. Acting on his orders and his judgment I will be taking the group from your hands and fulfill my mission."

"But they're criminals!" argued Cordovin.

"Sounds like someone's in trouble" Qrow muttered with a grin.

"I haven't deny it but my mission comes first above all, it is of most urgent matter. These people have to meet up with the General as soon as possible. They are no longer your concern or responsibility. Do I make myself clear Special Operative Caroline Cordovin?"

"I-Yes, of course ma'am" she was cursing mentally wanting to see Calavera behind bars.

"Now, are you going to remove those handcuffs or should my men do it for you?"

"No, where are my manners. Release them!"

The soldiers obeyed removing the cuffs from the group. They were all relief to hear some good news. It's been nothing but bad ones since they left Mistral. Maria felt better massaging her wrists, did they had to be so rough with her. She was a defenseless old woman. The former Huntress noticed Cordo glaring at her and she mocked her again. It made the woman's blood boiled.

"I would like to refuel and restock before departing. Would you be so kind Cordovin to provide?"

"As you wish Specialist Schnee. Anything for you" she changed her expression immediately smiling at the white haired woman.

"I would also like a report on the attack. I want to make sure there are no more Grimm in the city so the civilians can leave the shelters."

"I'm on it" she kept her smile leaving with her men following her.

"Argus is safe and so our hides" Cardin was actually happy after so much crap they went through, they get to rest and relax.

"You really made it on time" Qrow smiled at the older Schnee.

Winter has given a glare that made the Huntsman take a step back. He has seen her angry before but now, oh boy. Was she livid. The rest of the group were the same and Weiss was trying her best to hide behind her teammates.

"What were you thinking?!" she snapped gazing at the Branwen and the older Crowe" I was expecting this sort of behavior coming from Qrow but you Velvet?"

"I told Cordovin that we were expected at Atlas. It's not my fault the old hag was too stubborn to give us a ride."

"But to steal an air ship? And wrecked the Altesian Paladin King?"

The young woman walked through the group as she was standing face to face with the former heiress. The white haired girl wanted to shrink away or dug herself in a hole.

"And you agreed to do this Weiss? Weren't you aware of the danger you were getting yourself into-"

The girl cut her off hugging her. Honestly, this is what she wanted to do when she soon saw her. She has missed her so much. She never got the chance to see her when she returned to Atlas because she was always busy. Winter calmed herself as she was surprised by the hug at first. But eventually, she hugged her back she has missed her too. But this wasn't enough to make her anger vanish. Most importantly, she wasn't alone. She still has her friends and her teammates to support her. Can't forget her former teacher who was all right with going with such a crazy plan. Breaking the embrace the Specialist couldn't stay angry at her, she was tearing up. It has been a while since she last saw her and spoke to her, since the Vytal Festival. Time has sure passed since then. The older Schnee was so happy when Ironwood told her to come to Argus because she knew she will see her sister again.

"I'm sorry, I know it was wrong but we have to do something. We've been through a lot and...I missed you."

"I missed you too. I am still upset and mostly with those that are suppose to look after you" Winter gazed at the Branwen and older Crowe.

"Give us a break, you think you can keep these kids from doing what they want?" argued the scythe master.

"They're no longer kids. They're officially adults and they're capable of making their own decisions. They didn't let us go to Atlas so they came up with a plan. It was a reckless one but neither I or Qrow were going to back down from it. As their teacher I will support them all the way. Weiss is the same, she made her choice to be part of it."

"I suppose that is a fair explanation. I still have a right to get upset and worry though" the older Schnee smiled staring at her sister.

"So its true you're here to take us to Atlas?" asked Ruby.

"Yes, as soon as they're done refueling and restocking the fleet we will be on our way. Honestly I was expecting to come on my personal ship but I didn't had the time or the luxury. I advise not to go too far. I also need to have a talk with Cordovin. If you wish you can help her men with the patrolling and the retrieval of civilians from the shelters."

"We'll do" Jaune was happy at least he will have a chance to say goodbye to his sister and her family.

"Guess our job is not over yet" said Yang.

"Better than being locked in a cell" followed Cardin.

"Speaking of that, we need to have a long talk about your recent actions" the Specialist was staring at her younger sister again" if you EVER do something like this again you will be in serious trouble young lady, are we clear?"

"Crystal!" the white haired girl immediately replied.

The older Schnee finally left going to the base. The cold atmosphere around the group seemed to have melted away.

"Something tells me we're not out of this yet" Qrow gave a sigh.

The group did as Winter said, going back to the city to aid the soldiers in patrolling the streets. They already had that covered as it was official that all Grimm have been killed. Argus was truly safe, so they helped more in getting the people out of the shelters. Assuring everyone it was all right and the threat has been taken care of. And it didn't took long for things to return to the way they were. Saphron was more than happy to see her brother again along with Terra Cotta and Adrian. Last they checked, the city was about to get crawled by Grimm. Sienna Khan joined them shortly, she didn't left after all. Later, everyone was invited to the couple's house. They wanted to cook something nice for them. A victory celebration. The group were able to taste Saphron and Terra Cotta's cooking. It was delicious though Jaune still thinks Velvet's is better. He wasn't the only one, team TWBY, Ren, Nora, Laphicet, Oscar and Cardin thought the same.

Everyone ate and talked while getting to know Sienna better. Saphron was the one doing most of the talking as if she was trying to hit on her. Just because she wanted to make her wife jealous but she failed. Terra Cotta just rolled her eyes at the blond while feeding her son. It was nice to finally sit down and relax after the big battle. The soldiers reported there were some damages to building, but nothing that can be repair. It could have been worse it was all prevented thanks to the military and their help. After the great meal they kept on talking. Guess they have enough time to kill before leaving and forget all of their troubles. Sienna stopped in the middle of a conversation checking her scroll. It was the from the pilot that her here, he was ready to leave. It was a surprise he didn't freak out during the Grimm attack. So, the tigress gave her farewells while giving Blake a hug. As she left the house, this was a beautiful city, she would like to come back someday.

"You know Saphron would like you to stay a little longer."

The former High Leader chuckled of course she would. She has noticed the young blond has been hitting on her right on front of her wife. The older Arc likes to play with fire even if she was just kidding. She would never cheat on Terra Cotta. Velvet just gave a small sly smile at the faunus.

"She hasn't said it, but I can tell."

"I'm afraid this is where I part ways with all of you. My little friend at his air ship isn't patient enough. It felt great to help humans and faunus, just like in Haven. Thank goodness this city stood in one piece with minor damages, and they can continue to live in peace."

"Thank you for coming Sienna. For helping Blake, for helping us. I will never forget it."

"Honestly, I did it more to stop Adam. I'm aware what has become of the remaining members of his White Fang. He was out of control, more faunus would have been his victims if I hadn't shown up. There's still one more thing left to do before I face justice."

"You're going to Vale?"

"That is my next destination. There are rumors Beacon is almost in completion of its rebuilt as well as the city. I would like to help in any way I can."

"I know this will sound selfish of me…." the older Crowe stood in thought as she took a letter.

"Your face and that letter, a favor?" the tigress wasn't bothered.

"Yes. There's this young girl at the hospital. I don't even know if she's there anymore or alive. She's sick and...Because the Fall of Beacon and this journey, I haven't had the chance to pay her a visit and it's been so long. I wrote her a letter now. I don't know if she has forgotten about me" she did her best not to tear up.

After everything that has happened, Velvet hasn't forgotten about Serenity. The little girl at the hospital she got attached when she was doing community service with Pyrrha. The same girl who has cancer. She told her she was going to an operation. It's been more than a year and she didn't know anything about her. Sienna Khan only smiled as she took the letter from her hand.

"I'll do it. You're very busy it's understandable why you can't be there for her."

"You have no idea how grateful I am. Her name is Serenity, she has cancer and because she lost her hair I donated mine" the former teacher took her scroll and showed the tigress a picture she took with the little girl.

"She seems adorable."

"She is. She's the most wonderful person I have ever met. I really need to know if she's okay and if the operation was a success."

"I will make sure she gets the letter. Maybe she has written to you."

"Maybe. But she has no idea where I am" not like she could just visit her after the fall of Beacon because she was in a coma.

"That would mean she hasn't forgotten about you. If you have made an impact in her life, it will be impossible for her to forget you."

"Thanks Sienna. I hope we can meet again someday."

"I hope so too" she smiled as both shook hands.

Yang brought Qrow and Ruby to Saphron's backyard. The same place where the red cloak leader had her conversation with Maria. Cardin was with them trying to mind his own business. If he was here it's because the blond wanted him to be. The brawler was finally going to tell her sister and uncle the big news about the incoming kid. She was so nervous and she has taken so much courage to finally go through this. The Winchester wasn't helping as he signaled her to get it over with already. It wasn't that easy to let them now there was going to be a new member joining the family soon. She can do this, it was just a matter of calming down. Breath in, and out relax, take it easy. Now that all the crazy stuff ended, she can do this without something bad happening. But it was so hard to do because, she was still trying to believe it. How will her uncle and sister react to the news.

"Will you tell them, or I will?"

"Just be quiet" she frowned the blond at the Winchester.

"What's the big secret, you two are finally a thing?" said the Branwen.

The tall teen ignored the comment while the brawler smirked. That wouldn't be bad, it was nice. But now, it wasn't the time for joking around.

"That's not it. It's something big you guys have to know."

"You want me to upgrade your weapons?" Ruby's eyes were shining.

"That's not a bad idea. But that's not it either."

"Then what? Sounds like you're hiding a bomb from us" replied the Huntsman.

"Something like that" muttered Cardin while Yang give him a glare" just tell them already."

The lilac eyed blond sighed as both Qrow and Ruby were now curious to what she wanted to tell them.

"It's...The day when I left home to go to Mistral. Cardin's mom visited dad and she brought some alcohol, both had a couple of glasses."

"Oh no, no. No no" the Branwen already got the message" you can't be serious. This better not be a joke Yang, I mean it."

"What, what is it?" asked the silver eyed petite.

"This is...Oh boy Tai, you haven't lost your touch. My sister and Summer wasn't enough for you."

"That's not all. You see, according to Cardin Trisha's…."

"And she's cooking one in the oven?" Qrow was now shocked.

"Cooking what in the oven? I don't get it!" the young reaper was annoyed.

"Let me tell her" the scythe master turned to his younger niece" to put it short kiddo. Cardin's mom is pregnant with Tai's kid."

"…...…."

"Ruby?" Yang got worried seeing the expression on her sister's was complete shock.

"Guess the news are too much for her to handle. Pretty soon she's going to flip in a bad way" thought the Winchester.

"You mean…." spoke the red cloak leader.

"Trisha's pretty sure it's a boy so yeah" the blond brawler smiled" we're going to have a baby brother, sis."

The silver eyed girl stood speechless before she reacted. A huge smile formed on her features before she started bouncing all over the place.

"YAAAAYYYY! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! We're having a baby brother Yang! I am so….." she kept on bouncing.

"Okay, not the reaction I was expecting" sweat dropped Cardin.

Qrow and Yang were expecting it. Of course she will get so happy to know another member in the family. The Branwen was happy too, not minding having a nephew this time.

"We're having a baby brother, we're having a baby brother! Finally it's my turn to be the big sister! I will always be there for him. Big sister Ruby to the rescue!"

"She's happier than all of us" said the Winchester.

"I guess that will officially make you part of the family. Welcome kid" said the Branwen.

"Come on, he's not born yet. My mom's only like two months."

"Aw, you're blushing" smirked Yang.

"Quit it!"

Suddenly the door to the backyard slide opened revealing Nora and the others. The Valkyrie was looking very excited.

"Ruby is it true you're going to have a baby bro?!"

"So much for privacy" sighed the tall teen.

"We heard her all over the house" replied Ren true, because she was yelling.

"That's right!" the red cloak girl was still bouncing.

"Yeah, Saphron and Terra Cotta knows too" followed Jaune.

"Even Maria" added Oscar.

"Congratulations you two" smiled Blake to her teammates and siblings.

"I never thought I would see the day that Cardin will become part of Ruby and Yang's family" said Weiss.

"That makes two of us" replied the Winchester.

"I didn't saw this coming" said Laphicet.

"I'm happy for the four of you" smiled Velvet.

"Getting back on topic we asked Velvet how she was able to beat the Leviathan. We know she's strong but to take out something that big" said Nora.

The Arc, her brother and the farm teen all gazed at her. Sure, she didn't minded, she was planning in telling them to begin with.

"You can thank Ozpin for the power boost."

This was enough to get Qrow's attention" wait, he didn't…."

"Gave me the ability to turn into a dragon? Yes."

"No way!" the Valkyrie stood shocked along with everyone.

"You got to be kidding!" followed Cardin it's not like he was afraid of the creatures, his teammates were killed by one and he lost an eye and a leg.

Velvet sighed aware of the Winchester's mental condition. Hopefully she won't use her transformation in the future. Yet, part of her knew she will have to. Master it's potential and try to last longer without getting tire. She will have to apologize to him later.

"So the big dragon was you?!" Ruby was now excited because of the revelation.

"Don't give me all the credit, you all did your part protecting Argus. This city was safe because of you and I couldn't be any prouder."

"So I'm guessing you choose to become a dragon?" asked the former heiress.

"I did and so did Laphi" smiled the older Crowe while her brother gasped.

"Does that mean you can turn into a dragon too?!" the silver eyed petite was now in front of him making the boy blushed from the close contact.

Laphicet stuttered, unable to give her an answer. Backing down he just mumbled stuff while Ruby had no idea why he was acting like this. The group just watched in amusement at the scene. Inside of the house stood Maria holding Adrian. She's been wanting to spend time with the little boy again. Now that things have calmed down, she will enjoy their last hours here until they finally depart for Atlas.

Blake was lead through the hallways of the military base accompanied by two soldiers. She decided to visit Adam before leaving. Usually Cordovin will be against it but after Winter insisted the old hag stood silent. It was hard to believe she was doing this. Why go to him after she finally put closure to her past. Maybe because she felt like she has a responsibility with the former High Leader. Or was it pity, after everything he's done she feels sorry for him. The cat faunus told the group where she was going and it was her choice to go alone. Arriving at the holding cells, the raven haired girl was so glad she was never send here. This could have been her faith if Weiss's sister never interfered. Sharing a cell with the male faunus and her former lover. The soldiers led her to the last cell in the area. The bars were infused with lightning dust, anyone touches the cell and they will be in for quite a shock. No pun intended.

The amber eyed girl kept her distance from the cell as she gazed inside. Adam stood on the bed but he was seated, one leg knelt and the other stretched out. The faunus had his faze on the small window that leads to the outside world. At least he will have some sunshine. Not being completely isolated. His face was somber, his weapons were obviously taken as well as any dust he had in his possession. An eye got the attention at the person who has come to visit him. The sweet irony, it was the last person he wanted to see. This has to be his punishment for all of the lives he took. Guess it could have been worse. Seeing him in this state made Blake feel more sorry for him. But, she doesn't regret what she did because he needed to be stopped. Otherwise more people would have been killed, humans and faunus alike. And part of her wanted to help him even after everything she's been through because of him.

"Why are you here?" his tone sounded so empty" did you came to take pity on me?"

"I do pity you, but I'm here to reason with you."

Adam only chuckled but there was no humor" talk? Why talk now? There's nothing to talk about."

"You may see it that way but I believe you can still change. I learned everyone deserves a second chance even when it seems like it's impossible. Anyone can change and find forgiveness if they want to. Redemption is always there for those that want it" she thought of Velvet, Sienna Khan and Ilia.

"You're wasting your time. It's too late for me. I have taken too many lives, their blood it's all on my hands."

"As long as you're willing to change. I'm glad I met you Adam and what we used to have, I will never forget it. We have a wonderful relationship before you changed. That's why I'm trying to help you, for the sake of what we used to have. Please, don't throw it away."

"Playing the Good Samaritan? Nothing can say will change anything. I stained myself with hatred and revenge for too long. I'm beyond saving. Why so down? This is what you wanted. Send me here and let me rot forever. I can't change, I'm broken and all I want is to kill those that mistreated our kind and to this day they torture us for the fun of it. For pleasure I've seen the true nature of humans, their dark side. These are creatures that will never accept us Blake. Ghira's dream of equality will never come true, he's just a fool with a hopeless cause."

"Change, regret, redemption, it comes to those that are willing to acknowledge their mistakes. If they do and they want to make themselves better, they can do it. As long as they try."

"Are you done? I don't want to hear you anymore. There's no hope for me."

Blake gave a sigh" this is why you're here. To pay for your crimes and to think all your actions. Being in this cell for a long time might help you reflect on those moments in your life. It's why I brought you here. Death won't solve anything."

"…...…...…...…."

The raven haired faunus stood in thought. It will be for the best not to tell him where she was heading next. He was Cordovin's problem now. It didn't matter the results, she did her job. She tried to convince him he can change if he wants to. But, if he doesn't want to take that second chance, then he's beyond saving. It won't be her fault, she did her best. The rest will be up to him.

"I doubt we will see each other again."

"…...…..."

"Goodbye Adam."

The faunus turned away without another word, joining the soldiers leading her out of the area. The male faunus stood in thought, he didn't even made eye contact with his former lover. His eyes were on the small window to the outside. Change, redemption, a second chance. Why would she bother coming here. It was all nonsense to him. And all he did is stay still and try to catch a glimpse at the freedom he has lost.

Hours later, the group were on the hangar bay of the base. Winter was done refueling and restocking her fleet and she was ready to depart. The Specialist has told them they will be leaving around fifteen minutes. Saphron, Terra Cotta and Adrian were present. Of course they will be, they would want to say farewell to the young Arc and the rest of his friends. There was no way they were going to miss that, specially the older Arc. Jaune smiled patting the little boy's head as he giggled, then he smiled at the mother. How glad that his sister has such wonderful people looking after her. Turning to the blond woman, she was already in tears. Yeah, he knew this was going to be very emotional. It's been so long since he has seen his older sister due that she was away from Sonus. He finally visits her but now, he has to leave. The blond leader teared up before he got a hug from the older Arc.

"I wish you could stay, I'm going to miss you so much. I miss mom, dad and everyone. It's not the same getting a letter from then than having them visit you."

"I will miss you too Saphron. And I should write to them too. I've been so busy I've have had the time."

"I'm sure you can at least take ten minutes to write one when you arrive to Atlas."

"I'll do it" he smiled he really miss his parents.

The rest of the group bid their farewells to the couple while Weiss and Yang were giving Adrian a lot of love. He was too cute and adorable, they couldn't resist. Everyone climbed the ramp leading to the Altesian battle fleet until Jaune and Velvet were the only ones left. The older Crowe didn't wanted to keep Winter waiting knowing she would want to leave immediately. Guess a few minutes won't hurt. But the former daemon wanted to leave too because they weren't out of trouble yet. As long as they have the lamp of Knowledge with them, they will be risking everyone around them as they can attract Grimm like negative emotions do.

"No hug for me?" smiled Saphron.

"You would give me one either way if I didn't" the older Crowe smiled back.

The blond woman hugged her for a moment.

"Remember what we talk about" she whispered.

"I will keep on looking after Jaune and everyone" the former teacher whispered back.

"Thanks" the female Arc broke the hug.

"I haven't forgotten about you" Velvet smiled taking Adrian into her arms he giggled" don't give your mothers more trouble than they already have."

"Easier said than done" Terra Cotta rolled her eyes as the long haired woman gave her son back.

"We'll be departing in five minutes!" said an Atlas soldier before going back into the ship.

"I guess it's time we board too. Bye Saph, Terra and Adrian" said Jaune.

"Bye! Come back soon!"

Both climbed the ramp about to enter the ship. A grin was formed on Saphron's lips.

"Don't forget to invite us to the wedding!"

Her wife only shook her head, she will never change.

"Wedding?!" the Arc blushed.

"Ignore her!" followed Velvet with an equal red face.

Minutes later the Atlesian battle fleet engines as it was ready for take off. Saphron was still waving goodbye in tears. The ship took off leaving the military base and the city of Argus. Qrow stood from one of the passengers seat watching the window. They finally left, making some progress in this journey. Hope everything is well at Atlas and James was all right. Who he was kidding, the kingdom must be going crazy. After the Fall of Beacon, then Haven everyone should be at the edge of their seat for any coming threat. The Branwen took his silver flask before Ruby and Yang stood before him giving their uncle a serious gaze. He smiled in return assuring them there was no alcohol in the flask, but rather water. They obviously didn't believe him as the blond brawler snatched the flash from him taking a sniff. No alcohol smell, it shocked her that he might be telling the truth.

Qrow took his flask back leaving the area. Heading for the bridge, pretty sure Winter won't mind his visit. He actually missed having her around. It hasn't been the same since she left Mistral. Besides, he wanted an update on what they're heading into. Better to find out himself first before the rest. He will tell Velvet later since she was the leader of the whole group in general. The doors slid opened as the Huntsman stood on the bridge. Pretty big as expected from Atlas ships. Best technology, arsenals with plenty of space. The Specialist saw him from the corner of her eye, why was he here. Forget that, she should know why. Definitely not the best time or place to start one of his mind games, anything to put her in a bad mood. He was right next to her taking a sip from his silver flask, he hasn't changed same old careless and annoying Qrow. Yet, she was happy to see him again.

"You're not supposed to be here. I'll have you know it is against regulations for a civilian to be on the bridge of an official Atlas military ship."

"I'm not a civilian."

"Same goes for a Huntsman."

"Take it easy. I'm not here to upset you, just want to talk."

"We can do that, once we arrive at Atlas."

"Speaking of which, how's James? I'm glad he got my letter. I thought it was going to take longer to reach him."

"The General...Has seen better days" she finished in a soft tone.

"It's not looking good, is it?"

"Things in Atlas are...Complicated. That's all you need to know. The General will fill you in on all the details when you meet up with him. Now, I highly advice you leave the bridge, before I call my men to kick you out."

The Branwen, he got the point. There was no way she was going to tell him more. Ironwood will have to tell him the situation in Atlas himself. Winter turned to him, as their eyes met. A smile spread his features ready to go.

"Thanks for helping us back there Winter. We would have been in real trouble if you hadn't shown up."

The older Schnee was about to give him a lecture regarding their crime thanks to him for bringing it up. But she was shocked when she heard him say her name. That was a first he has never call her by her name, not that she knew about it. It was always the usual ice queen. No teasing gestures, no wanting to annoy her until she gets so mad she wants to use her saber on him like an ice pick. He wasn't himself, something must have happened during their journey to Argus. But what, this really worried her. It shouldn't but it was bothering her. The white haired woman regarded those thoughts asides, focusing ahead as the ship already has it's destination towards Atlas.

Velvet felt like being standing throughout the trip. Guess she wasn't in the mood to be seated. Not that far she spotted Cardin who was checking on his scroll. The Winchesters looked like he was browsing. It made her curious, Yang did told her he never used the camera feature of the device. So, he doesn't have any pictures of him with his teammates. It was sad when she thought about it, he lost his team and he doesn't have a single thing to remember them except his memories, no memento at all. The former therion was worried for him, she will always be worry for all of her students. She has this need to be there for them through good times and bad. It was the fact that these people have become so important to her. As important, as her brother that she didn't know what will she do without them. To protect them at all cost, risking her own life.

"I wonder" he spoke noticing her" why I never bother to take a picture with them?"

"Your team?"

"I was so stupid back then. But, at least I should have done the obvious and do it. They were my teammates, not the perfect bunch by they were still my teammates. Russel once said that we should take a picture so that people can remember Team CRDL when we graduate. Guess neither of those things will ever come true."

"Your stuck in the past, I know the feeling very well. You made various attempts to move on and forget it. But no matter how fast you run, it always comes back to haunt you."

"It's a pain in the ass I hate it. I wish I could forget it all, have my mind wipe clean."

"Don't. How painful it can be you shouldn't forget it. It's a reminder to your commitment of moving on to become a better person, a lesson if you want to call it that. Now you're trying to find a purpose not for your sake, but for theirs too. By living for them. The past will always stay with you, you can't get away from it. All you can do is move forward. Take Blake for example, when she beat Adam Taurus she finally got closure to her past. She will never forget it but it's rather a chapter in her life she has locked away. Or a book that she has closed and opens a new one. It's over, it's done. With that out of the way she can focus on moving on and resume to live a better life."

"I get your point and that's what I've been doing for a while. You're really good at giving cheesy speeches."

"I'm a teacher after all. I'm suppose to give those kinds of pep talks."

"Cheesy or not, they're good at lifting people's mood."

"Cardin, about my transformation. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. Ozpin offered a gift that I could use to my advantage as a power source to help the fight with Salem and protect all of you. I will never forget the reason you lost your team is because of a dragon."

"That's wrong. A dragon did killed them, but it was because of me they died. It was a my mistake that lead them to their deaths. I haven't seen your transformation. Though I have no idea how I will react if I ever see it. Back at Argus I was focusing on the flying Grimm to look back. I still want to find my place even after knowing about the witch that can't be killed. I'm starting to why you refuse to give up. It's contagious."

"I'm glad it is contagious that everyone is with me. I have seen how you've been slowly recovering from that traumatic experience. As long as you don't face it alone. You might have lost the people that could have become your family, but don't feel bad. Because you have earned a new one."

The Winchester blinked. Yep, he couldn't forget the coming kid. Now he was wondering when he will have the time to go and visit his mother. If she was already done at Vale, she was probably at Patch by now. Taiyang must already know and he could be helping her through the process.

"Hey Cardin!"

The teen turned to Yang as she smiled at him with her scroll opened. Ruby wasn't that far behind dragging Qrow.

"Let's take a picture."

"Just the three of you?"

"No, the four of us silly. I want a new family portrait before our little brother is born" the red cloak girl was so happy.

"I suppose I have to be on it too" the Branwen shook his head but he was fine with it.

"Okay, fine."

Velvet smiled at the sight before she was dragged by the blond brawler making it five. Yang took her scroll before them making sure they were all in before taking the photo.

"Took me by surprise."

"You're part of this family too. And your face says it all" the brawler smiled at the older Crowe.

"Now, let's take a picture with everyone else!"

Ruby was now dragging Cardin with her sister and uncle following them. Laphicet arrived shortly but he was taken by Yang telling him he was needed for the picture. Velvet only smiled at the sight. It was so nice to take a long rest after the battle that took place at Argus. Knowing it wasn't over, it was just starting. They were heading for Atlas now and they have one of the four relics. Ozpin assured her the relic that's supposed to be in Beacon is safe and that Salem won't be going after it for the time being. So, they needed to focus on the remaining two, Creation and Destruction. The staff of Creation was located in the vault of Atlas Academy. The big question, will they arrive on time before the Grimm Witch gets there. Or will she be setting her sights on Shade in Vacuo.

"I know this fight is going to get tougher. And I know Salem is preparing herself for what's to come."

Emerald walked over to the meeting room where everyone gathers. It was completely wrecked. Guess this was Salem's doing after finding out Ozpin is back. She completely lost it turning this place into a junkyard. Mercury was there, his eyes were elsewhere. As the dark skinned girl walked closer to him, he was shocked. Staring at the destroyed windows outside of the dark palace. She felt like apologizing to him after the argument they had. It started with a simple question that lead to a fight. Not wanting to admit Cinder didn't care about them and it ended up in the gray haired teen telling her about his father. How cruel he was with him, and what he did to his semblance. Before Tyrian showed up telling them that he was leaving with Watts to Atlas. The thief walked to him while his eyes eyes were still outside.

"Mercury, I wanted to…." she finally gazed outside" what is she doing?"

Salem stood on the Grimm pools as she created a Beringel. Focusing her powers she was able to create wings on the gorilla type creature. Flying off to join thousands of them. An entire army of flying Beringel as if she was getting herself ready for an invasion.

"There's an old saying" Hazel walked into the destroyed room meeting the two teens, his eyes were outside gazing at his master.

"If you want something done right, do it yourself."

Grimm Laphicet smiled as he jumped getting on one of the winged Beringel. The hooded stranger did the same. Salem's red eyes glowed unleashing a great wave of dark power. The flying army were ready to depart with the Grimm replica of the malak and the mysterious stranger. They were coming too. And their destination, it is pretty clear.

"It's personal now" resumed Hazel to the two teens" war is coming."

To be continued in Fall 2020

-It's finally the end of volume 6 and thus the long hiatus begins until October or November. The waiting game begins.

-It's not such a big cliffhanger considering that Grimm Laphi and the hooded stranger will be coming with Salem making things more complicated for the future. I'd say you folks should have seen this coming. I was planning to end the chapter with the after credits of the final episode.

-Winter coming to the group's rescue I did it on purpose. I wanted her to be the one. Cordovin was put in her place while Maria mocking her lol specially the" kiss my old and wrinkle ass" that's something the old woman would say.

-I hope you have enjoy this volume and thank you for all the constant support. All the readers that always review, TheEmeraldMage, CT7567Rules, Shadow Joestar, M.H. Pintner, Saint Saner Fang, Abyss Trinity, Gabriel443, TPoynt, calderoneric758, Sweetdesire2002 among others.

-Just like the rest of the group will be getting new outfits in v7 I will be giving Velvet, Laphicet, Cardin and Jaune new outfits too. Maybe Qrow, I don't like his new one. So I need ideas because I'm not good at the field maybe if someone draws it. If there any volunteers please let me know.

-Nevermore was the only track of the v6 soundtrack I didn't use in the story because it's about Blake, Yang and Adam and you already know I made things different in this version. There was no need for it though it saddens me it's a cool song.

-Just a heads up I already have in mind how my version of volume 7 will go out. Though I will be doing some changes to the order of events. This volume needs a lot of changes because it was one big filler before the real action started. Also I have to watch the volume again in case I have miss some details.

-Replying to reviews:

*Shadow Joestar- not Ironwood more like Winter to save the day.

*Sweetdesire2002- having another dragon in the group will give Cardin a heart attack because he's dealing with Velvet being one lol. But yes I do have a creature fitted for Laphicet and it's strong and cunning too. I just couldn't introduce both animal transformations in one volume sorry.

*Mr. bumpity- I have suggested in the past when he started writing his story to make a rewrite in order to make it better. Because he admitted he has never play the game before admitting Velvet will be OOC. But later on he finally plays it and clears it. Now understanding her character growth and her change, he should be able to write her more in her character. But unfortunately he's not doing that. It's hard for me to read a story where Velvet Crowe still has a grudge with someone as if she wants revenge. In other words what she went through in the whole game is completely dismissed and she never changed in other words she's still OOC. I wish the author could make her more human and bond with other characters asides Ruby. But it's his story and if he wants to make it that way so beat it. I will continue to read the story and give criticism if necessary.

*calderoneric758- I already mentioned I will be doing changes to their new attires and thanks for the idea I will consider it.

*TheEmeraldMage- I had a feeling you were going to like the chapter. Seriously I see no one else beating the Leviathan than dragon Velvet. Defeating a creature with another creature. Hope you like this chapter too.

*TPoynt- I guess Ironwood has a right to get angry but to choose to abandon the people of Mantle is just wrong. This is exactly what Salem wants to keep humanity divided not to mention it contradicts his message to the people when Robin was using her semblance on him. He thinks he's doing the right thing but he's not. It's obvious he fears Salem but his plan is not the answer. Also I have a feeling Clover will go against his orders and help the group. He seems like the trusting caring type.

*M.H. Pintner- nothing I will continue to watch the show for the sake of this story and others. But if I do decide to drop it completely I will obviously be taking the AU route making it more original. As for your other review maybe there are many stories I would like to resume writing.

*CT7567Rules- yep I think Ironwood did fell into Salem's hands. Because if he's only focusing on keeping the people of Atlas safe it will make her easy for her to attack it. She only wants the Winter Maiden and the relic who are both on Atlas. The people of Mantle are of no concern to her unless the Grimm decides to attack the city.

*Shiakusa- like I said it started as a big filler with some horrible mistakes like doing things off screen (worse mistake a writer can do IMO) until the end which it started getting good.

*Gabriel443- gracias espero que te siga gustando la historia.

-Now that this story is back hiatus I will continue to focus on other stories. The Paladin and the Guild Heroes obviously. The Alternate Path, Resident Huntsman, Tales of Brave Faunus and Proving his Worth. I will try my best if I can update all of them. Those are the stories I have in mind for the moment. Unless, the damn plot bunnies invade my head again and I end up writing a new story. I hope it doesn't come to that. At least I want to finish Proving his Worth which there aren't that many episodes left.

-SPOILERS for volume 7 episode 12- this episode was better than the last one. Team RWBY's awesome teamwork beating four members of the Ace OPS and Clover RIP and RIP the ship with him and Qrow Fair Game Lucky Charms whatever so much for it becoming canon lol. It's not the first time they killed a new character in the same volume he's introduced (Sienna Khan, Vernal, Tock and that Robin supporter that got murdered by Tyrian in ep3 of this volume). Now the shippers are going to be crying and writing more fan fiction of the ship, what is with RT and killing ships? First Arkos now this one. No hard feelings Clover was a good guy but I had a feeling he was going to die. The lucky ones aren't always the luckiest, get it see what I did there? And Neo playing it smart disguising herself as Oscar but her plan backfired as how in the world did she got punched by oscar after seeing her fight? You think she will dodge? Now it's a fight between Fall Maiden Cinder, Winter and Penny. Honestly I don't care if Penny dies again whatever Winter is all that matters. Either she does get the Winter Maiden's powers and kills Cinder or, it's the other way around and if that's the case I am going to be PISSED. I swear I am sick of Cinder being the one to triumph just fucking die already. Her character serve her purpose. By all means Watts and Tyrian are more important and cooler than her. The way I see it at how Miles and Kerry are so bad with their writing and are obviously fan boys of Jessica Nigri, Cinder is going to kill Winter before she gets the powers. If that happens I will give up on the show and resume this story for the sake of it. Because what the heck I already killed the bitch in my version. Also WTF why did Qrow and Tyrian teamed up against Clover? Seriously you're going to team up with the same psycho that attempted to kidnap your niece against someone who you started to see as a good friend what gives RT? Miles, Kerry stop smoking weed or marijuana. I give it a 7/10. Lastly where is Nora's background story? There's only one episode left in the volume. I feel like they're not going to do it or just give a 3 minute flashback and that's it. Either way this volume has been a let down. At least v6 started great before it went downhill at the end.

-As always thank you very much for the favs, follows and reviews I really appreciate it.

Next time: A new approach
