Clash of Realms

CHP59: Together Time

"Beautiful, beautiful, that's spectacular! Hold that pose, just like that!" the cameraman called out.

He snapped a few shots from that angle while three others did the same from different perspectives and distances. The silver haired vampire was dressed in black fishnet stockings, black boots, and red skirt with a red and white top similar to what Santa Clause wore. But the top was left open and exposing much of her cleavage.

And she was also with the iconic red hat, brown gloves and carrying a sack filled with toys as a prop. While at first it was a bit uncomfortable for her, not used to this sort of attention but after a while it was as if they weren't even there as she settled; becoming more and more comfortable in her own skin. And before she knew it the shoot concluded.

"Hhhmm, that wasn't so bad," Moka sighed.

From there she was relocated to another room and undressing before she was greeted by her mother.

"We'll, how'd things go?" the pinkette smirked.

"We'll. A lot better than I thought it would. Something different, so there's that," Moka smiled.

Wrapping an arm around Moka, the Dark Lord pulled her in close and nudging the side of her face against hers.

"We aren't finished yet, one more to go and that'll be it. You and I this time, together."

"And what's the theme?"

"You'll see."

Grabbing at and pulling her along, the pink haired vampire took the forefront and leading them to the next room, halfway down the hall. Together they were directed and got dressed into the next set of outfits for the final shoot of the evening.

Moka's was in the color of blue/white and Akasha's in pink. Both were handed Pom poms and dressed like cheerleaders. Throughout the room were sofas and sports equipment used in a variety of the shots. A series of the shots were of them back to back, cuddled up, jumping around or in athletic stretched positions. Most were taken on a bed with pink blankets.

And at the conclusion they were all smiles, dancing around before breaking away from each other. Afterwards the Dark Lord set the Pom poms aside and settling herself in front of the director who just so happened to enter.

"Hi, you have a minute?"

"Of course, your majesty," he nodded.

With the tilt of her head, she guided them both out into the hall.

"Your highness, please do speak your mind."

"Yes," she smiled with her hands clasped together. "When will the calendars and magazines publish?"

"A month and a half from now," he bowed his head. "You'll be given the opportunity to review every photo, just as each model. If there's a singular photo or even one of your full sets you'd like removed, there will be time to do so."

"That's groovy, thank you very much. When completed I'd love all sets and albums forwarded to my palace," Akasha said.

"Will do your highness."

He again bowed his head, before Akasha took off and resituating herself with Moka.

"So what did you think?" Akasha moved up next to and an arm around Moka.

"Not bad. I enjoyed this. Honestly can't think of the last time I so openly expressed myself... If ever," Moka looked upwards.

"That's good to know. You must be hungry, maybe? Want to get a bite, perhaps..."

Humming to herself Moka leaned back.

"Tsukune and I were going to eat in, but I suppose..."

"No, no, never mind," Akasha shook her head. "Eating in sounds lovely. I have yet to try one of your home cooked meals. Mind if I join the two of you?"

"Gladly," Moka smirked at her.

XXX

"This might be a long one, so I hope you're ready. Please do have a seat and get comfortable."

With just the wave of her hand, Zatanna pulled up a chair from across the room and gestured for Clark to take a seat. He looked back and while at first hesitant, he did sit. A moderate ring however from a nearby sofa redirected her focus.

"Hhhhmmm, wonder who would be calling this time of night?"

Zatanna took a few steps that way and taking a look.

"Who is it?" Clark questioned from his seated position.

"It's her," Zatanna looked over the message and stepped back. "She's requesting entry."

And so with her arms out in front of her Zatanna created a void from pure energy and in seconds from then on the other side the purple haired vampire emerged.

"Are we just about ready to begin?" Selene inquired, taking a nippy look at Clark who was off to the side.

"Begin?" Zatanna looked her in the face with half a smile. "Maybe someone is a little late."

Stepping off to the side, the purple haired vampire batted an eye.

"What do you mean?"

"If you refer to Bruce and the opening stages to gaining control over his newly awakened strength, then you've missed out," Clark stood.

"It was a success, Selene," Zatanna made eye contact with her. "He's doing well."

"Yur kidding... where is he?!"

"Right here."

A door off to the side broke open and Bruce striding through.

"You're up and about. I thought you might be meditating for the next hour or so. Any change in how you feel?"

"Still some tightness and discomfort, but it's getting better."

Selene's mouth opened partially.

"Are you people out of your mind?! How could you have went through with this without first waiting for my arrival? Yes. This sort of thing is out of your expertise, regardless of the strengths and abilities you all possess."

"Maybe, but the same could be said for you," Zatanna said.

"Excuse me!" the vampire shot back.

"She isn't wrong," Clark stepped in. "Only the king of vampires and those that performed this said ritual centuries ago, would truly understand it."

"Far as I can tell, I'm doing just fine. Drop the fuss," Bruce said.

Oh, there was so many ways she could have combated and argued against everything they said and done, but felt and knew it was futile.

"Actions such as this could get you all into trouble, or at least him if you aren't careful he could..."

"I'm well aware of what could happen and so are they. This situation isn't ideal and calculated risks is the route to take."

"Story of your life, since the inauguration of your crusade," Selene said with sass, rolling her eyes.

"It is what it is. If you have any suggestions, we'd love to hear it," Clark said.

Selene immediately opened her mouth to respond, but cut off.

"And it better not involve Akasha and or her father," Bruce said.

Chuckling, the medic halfway smiled but said nothing.

"That's what I thought," came a quick response from Bruce, with his arms crossed.

"That's enough, we're all on the same team here," Zatanna said.

"Am I free to go?" Bruce asked.

"No, sorry. A few more hours of supervision and then you'll be on your way," Zatanna said.

Deciding not to argue and trust the process, Bruce said nothing more. Clearing her throat and leaning against a nearby table, Zatanna looked back and forth between Selene and Bruce.

"Yukari and myself read through and covered much, including what led to their assembly with Alucard," Zatanna said.

"Their... Who?" Selene inquired.

Year 1656

It was a dark night and a lone carriage speeding over an open dirt road with two horses out front. The individual sitting up front carried a special gem, which tended to glow and flare when a nearby disturbance drew close. Though he couldn't tell what or from which direction. He and a four man crew were just on the outer skirts of a town by the name of Trabudor.

"We might have something. This thing is acting up," one looked down at the gem.

One out of the two that sat in the back took a peek out the side window as they moved along. It was dark and at first didn't see much of anything, but then it came. So quickly, and without warning. He spotted tentacles rising and tearing and rising from behind the carriage in the opposite direction, but closing in on them from behind, fast!

"There's something coming at us!" he screamed. "Pick up speed dammit, we need more speed!"

Too late… The tentacles smashed into and wrapped around the carriage just before they reached the gates. And one tore through the carriage like a buzz saw! The four shouted and screamed in fear, but there was no hope. The carriage broke in half and exploding as the tentacles cut through and the creature making itself visible from beneath the ground as it devoured not only the four passengers, but the two horses as well.

Atop a lighthouse in from of the town, a woman looked on out of a window. From where she stood it was hard to really make out anything, but she knew something wasn't right. Taking a few steps back, the woman grabbed hold of a lantern, which was her only source of light aside from the lantern. And as she approached the steps leading down, the lighthouse began to shake, but then stopped.

"What was that?!" she said, nervously.

Then she can't see anything outside the window. The stars and the moon which were visible just moments before aren't now, just plain blackness, which seemed to be moving. She trotted to the window and looked out. In fear she screamed, then there was a loud roar and the lighthouse began shaking violently. The woman quickly ran down the stairs with the only thought on mind to get out.

Once outside, she looked back at the lighthouse. A gigantic creature unlike she'd seen before stood at 50 feet destroying the lighthouse! Pieces of the building plummeted and she ran for her life towards the town! The gigantic monster roared out loudly, and then started stomping towards the town.

Not everyone had turned in for the night, in fact many were out partying for a special occasion. Mostly within the few taverns. A bartender was behind a counter wiping down a glass when he looked up.

"An earthquake, in this region?" the bartender wondered.

That just didn't seem right. Suddenly, a long tentacle swiped the bar, totally demolishing it. Most the party goers didn't know what hit them as they were immediately knocked unconscious or killed. Two persons did however managed to survive and get out, but one of them nabbed by a tentacle and devoured.

The woman who had first set eyes on it ran around town yelling and screaming. And not long after the front doors to various homes opened and citizens of the towns feasted their eyes on the massive monstrosity. It gradually made its way through the city and its tentacles waving around smashing and devastating landmarks in its path. Inhabitants of the town ran, screaming and some trampling over others. The chief of town caught sight of the danger and directing citizens to a safe zone. There was however a singular individual running back towards his home, which was in the direction of the fifty foot incoming creature.

"My loot!" he yelled. "I won't leave without it!"

"Your life is more important! Run now!" the chief grabbed at his wrists.

The creature approached and crushed the individual's house!

"NOOOO!" he screamed.

And as he turned to run in the opposite direction in an effort to catch up with the rest of the crowds, he tripped over himself and fell flat. And like others before him he was pulled up off his feet and devoured by the creature! It was a terrible sight, but no one stuck around for very long to watch.

There were four that inspected and observed from afar. All those poor citizens running from the city in fear and panic, and the giant beast that wrecking everything in sight. But they had been following it, watching it. This wasn't the first town it attacked, and nor would it be the last. There were four that watched and looking on with curiosity.

"Zoey, Chelsla and Tyian. Now we move… it is time. He is the one. The one who shall lead the revolution! The vampire king."

Present time

Down the hall he walked with two guards on either side of him and in a matter of minutes before they reached the main lobby where a certain guest awaited him. But it was not who he was expecting at all; in fact so much that he was perplexed.

"Apollo," she stood from the sofa. "I hope this isn't a bad time."

Her long raven hair rested over her shoulders, dressed in a dark purple dress, donning her bracelets, tiara over her head and black boots.

"Diana Prince," the emperor spoke as his shoulders settled. "I'd be lying if I told you this wasn't a surprise."

She took a few steps away from the sofa and approached him.

"Would you prefer that I return at another time?"

"No!" Apollo immediately waved off the notion. "This is the grandest surprise."

The harbinger situated himself over a couch across from her, and Diana again taking a seat over the sofa. He looked her up and down, but in the strangest of ways. The amazon princess picked up on this while ever so slightly resituating over the sofa.

"Sorry, sorry," Apollo glanced around the room.

"What is it?" Diana inquired.

The harbinger coughed as he sat upright and straightening his posture.

"You traveled alone," he crossed his arms. "For such a gathering I reckoned you'd be accompanied by..."

"Others of the team?" she finished for him. "Mostly, but this instance doesn't require a full assembly."

"Very we'll," Apollo grinned. "Do speak your mind."

Her fingers danced over the fabric of the sofa while she collected her thoughts.

"Nothing precise. I just wanted to go over a few things and make clear we're all on the same page. Things we might have otherwise overlooked in our last meeting. Firstly your turf, this realm."

Apollo's left brow outstretched at the mention, becoming interested.

"Go on."

Diana cleared her throat and did exactly that.

"Fairy Tale as we know has shown itself more than enough times in man's world; responsible for countless damages in property, and casualties which have been to a minimum. And for the sake of us all a positive. But even still, more deaths will follow and damages if something doesn't change. Our approach."

"Couldn't agree more," Apollo nodded. "What is your proposal?"

Just as the last word slipped out of his mouth a single of the harbinger's servants entered the room.

"Sir, any refreshments?"

In a shake of his head Apollo gave his answer as the individual then looked to Diana.

"And for the lady?"

"A water is fine," Diana said.

Pouring one glass of water he set it atop the table in between Apollo and Diana. And afterwards he took off with the two guards that escorted the emperor into the room.

"Fairy Tale's fall back. Their base. It is here in this realm... as we believe. The idea and plan is to hit them outright. Calculated, straight forward and drop them wherever they stand. Yes I wouldn't exactly say we have the element of surprise, given the already half dozen encounters with them. But they wouldn't be expecting this. A full blown scale attack on their home ground."

"And you seek permission into the monster world, to operate. Has this been discussed amongst your team?" Apollo questioned.

"To a small degree, with only a select few members," Diana nodded.

Breathing inwardly, Apollo sat back with his eyes closed.

"You're aware of the rules as it retains to humans, and that would apply to any of your teammates that falls under the category. No exceptions... unless otherwise approved by myself or a Dark Lord, with currently only one assigned, being my daughter. In the instance of this I suppose an exception can be made for your Justice League."

The harbinger paused for a moment but she knew he was far from done and so she said nothing.

"I've once before expressed to your entire faction my position and how I feel about you all and the way you go about business. A discussion I'd rather not jump into as of the moment. But I can assure you, the way you and that team of yours go about things in the human world won't be as so in here," while his expression was mostly blank, Diana perceived the sternness in his tone.

He spoke in a way that she could only be compared to the way her mother scolded her as a child. Regardless, the princess of Themyscira continued listening.

"I will not have an uproar of battles and destruction visible in plain view to the citizens of this realm. Whether or not you want to believe it, you bunch are glorified here just as much as man sees you. Godlike beings with incredible gifts, abilities and strengths they could only dream of. A hindrance to the growth of society," Apollo's gaze lowered over the ground.

"Says you," Diana leaned forward. "There are pros and cons to what we do, none of us would deny that. Our efforts have made the world a safer and..."

"I'm going to stop you right there," Apollo looked her dead in the eyes. "Your very existence and doing so without secrecy attracts chaos, terror and those who would wish to challenge such an overwhelming collective power that your team retains. It is human nature to dread what they do not comprehend, and that being all of you. And not to sound like a broken record but it cannot be stressed enough the reliance upon you all that's grown upon mankind and set them back," Apollo argued.

"I do not believe that," Diana shook her head. "And if that's the way you feel, I'll respect that; including each and every term in regards to any activity in this land. In fact the idea wasn't to do so ourselves, but to work closely with you on this. But I understand you've got an entire kingdom to look over and run, so..."

Both palms of her hands rubbing together, Diana waited for a response. Tilting and nodding his head his hands were tightly clasped together.

"Very considerate, but with an issue and threat such as this all duties can and would be brushed aside. However, for the time being Knights Warriors units are working around the clock twenty four seven. If and when concrete evidence and findings have been produced of Fairy Tale's whereabouts, it is business as usual. If you and your team so happen to make your entry, if not myself my son and king of Mount shall assist you, or my daughter who you've acquainted yourself with, Bloodriver Akasha."

"Yes, that would be most appreciated," Diana bowed her head slightly. "Nothing set in stone yet, but it's only a matter of time before we track and put a stop to what they're to do."

And it wasn't a moment later that Ruby appeared through the door, redressed in her robe and sandals.

"Wonder Woman... woooohh, what have I missed?" Ruby asked.

"Diana is fine," the amazon princess responded with a smile. "Nothing urgent, just here to clear up a few things so not to have any troubles going forward."

"Fairy Tale, huh?" Ruby said sadly with her head tilted to the side. "I await the day we no longer have to worry about them."

"My dream since the beginning of my reign. All of this is simply a means to an end, and once the day comes that yokai and humans alike have united, I'll step down from this throne I've held for centuries," Apollo said.

"Interesting, is that so?" Diana leaned sideways.

"This position, the crown of emperor was not something I wanted. But there was no one with enough power, determination and understanding of each dissimilar monster of this world. I took it upon myself to guide and lead and overtime my influence and respect grew, leading by example and eventually I was anonymously appointed the ruler and emperor of this realm. I take the title with pride, but first and foremost I am a soldier."

Diana snickered as she stood from the sofa, with a certain fire in her eyes that wasn't there moments ago.

"We'll have to put that to the test sometime in the future," Diana smiled at him.

And just like that Apollo felt his inner competitive juices flow, knowing exactly what she implied.

"I'm going to hold you to that, Diana Prince," Apollo smirked.

A door across the room from them swung open and a singular chef entering.

"Just a heads up sir, your guests from the small town of Kerkul are just outside the gates. And dinner will be served in the next hour."

"Excellent," Apollo nodded towards the cook just before looking back at Diana. "Any chance you'd like to join us? There's more than enough to go around."

"I'd love to, I really would. But I should really be on my way. Maybe another time. You'll hear from us soon," Diana turned and headed for the exit.

"I'll be waiting," Apollo murmured as she disappeared through the doors.

"Be back in twenty," Ruby called out to him with her back turned. "I'm going to dress into something more appropriate for the occasion."

"Very we'll," the harbinger nodded.

To him she looked fine just the way she was. And lately he caught himself staring or thinking about the witch during certain points of the days. This was so much different than having Eris around. It was as if there was an invisible flame inside his stomach which was gradually increasing.

XXX

Already setting up in the kitchen, Moka Akashiya had gotten an early start on dinner, and tonight wouldn't be just any other ordinary evening. Tonight there would be a special someone joining then, and it would be a first for such an occasion. As a young girl she watched her mother prepare meals and serve it out, and for the first time she would be on the other side of the spectrum.

"Why am I stressing so much..." Moka's fangs lightly grazed her lower lip.

From then she even felt a rise in her own body temperature, feeling as though she might sweat bullets if this went on. Taking a step back away from the counter, she threw her head back and took a few deep breaths.

"You've got this, nothing to worry about," Moka assured herself.

It wasn't much, but enough to boost her confidence if even just a little. And rubbing her hands together, the silver haired vampire continued where she left off, cutting up dozens of peppers which were then followed by a bowl of vegetables. She was only about halfway through when she just about jumped out of her boots. It was the doorbell! Had she already arrived?! It couldn't be, could it?

Moka jumped out of place and looking to a clock in the living room which showed five minutes after eight. Akasha agreed to stop by sometime shortly after nine, which left a full hour. But then again, there was also the carpenter they'd been waiting on from earlier in the week. Moka had forgotten which day he was scheduled to stop by, and maybe that was now.

Setting everything aside, she walked through the dinning-room and opening the front door.

"Tsukune!" she jumped back, a little bit.

"Moka-San, why so startled?" Tsukune was with concern.

As if in a roll all lineup, Moka jumped in place straightening her entire body as if standing in front of a superior general.

"Nothing!" she said hurriedly.

Off to Tsukune's left stood Gin, with both vampire and werewolf glimpsing at each other before back at her.

"What're you up to?" Gin asked suspiciously, with his arms crossed.

Tsukune felt very much the same as him; eying his mate with great detail and suspicion.

"Really it's nothing," Moka spun around, but with her back to them and fiddling with her fingers. "Mother is joining us for dinner."

"Bloodriver, here?" Gin inquired.

"Really, since when? Is something up... she certainly didn't hint at it the last time we talked."

Grumbling beneath her breath, Moka turned and faced them but did so with steps that carried a certain weight to them and were almost like stomps.

"You two are being idiotic..." Moka's right brow batted. "She simply wants to have dinner. What's wrong with mother wanting to spend some quality time with me, just for the sake of it. Why does there have to be something wrong, or a reason that she swings by?!" Moka snapped.

Tsukune's teeth gritted while Gin swallowed his own saliva.

"Moka-San is over reacting..." Tsukune uttered.

"Must be on her period," Gin added, but in a whisper.

Unfortunately for them both, she heard everything and her yokai raising as she clutched her fists together. Tsukune gulped, while Gin scratched at his sides.

"For the sake of you both, I'd say nothing else unless you've got something good or nice. Otherwise I can't promise that someone doesn't end up an in early grave."

She was very serious in tone and looked like she was in battle mode and would lash out at any moment. The duo was silent as her rose red eyes danced back and forth between them.

"Nothing to say," she smirked victoriously. "Thought so."

Turning her back to them once more Moka returned to the kitchen with the door left open in front of them. Resituating his body somewhat, Gin slowly turned and looked to Tsukune who also looked in his direction.

"Did that just happen?" the werewolf asked.

"Yes... I believe it just did. I don't think I've ever seen Moka-San like this. I mean with anything like this," Tsukune said.

And one after another they stepped through with the door closing behind them, both finding a place to sit within the living room.

"I'll be making more than enough," Moka looked in their direction from over the kitchen countertop. "You should stay and join us for dinner."

The silver haired vampire looked straight at Gin.

"Yeah, sure," he scratched at the side of his head.

And Moka still with her back to them continued the conversation.

"Speaking of which," Moka turned around. "What are you doing here, is this about the gang you've recently joined?"

She grinned and flashed her lashes.

"Haha, very funny," Gin leaned forward. "But yeah you could say that."

He was unable to get off another word as another ring of the doorbell came. It was Tsukune that rose from the sofa and straight for the door.

"Akasha-San," he smiled at her. "Nice for you to stop by."

She was dressed in dark leggings, a dark red blouse, black boots, and necklace. Pushing the door further open, Tsukune stepped aside while she entered. The Dark Lord also carried a bag over her left shoulder.

"Mother...you're here early," Moka's upper fangs grazed her bottom lip.

"Yes, I know you said nine but thought to myself this is the perfect opportunity for us too cook together. It would be a first."

Moka paused for a moment, but then smiled.

"Yeah, sure. That would be lovely," Moka breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a lot of that pressure dispensed.

Taking only a few additional steps, Akasha stopped in her tracks and peering over an unsuspecting guest.

"Miss Bloodriver," he waved with a welcoming smirk.

"There's been a little bit of a change," Tsukune took the opportunity to step in. "One of the persons affiliated with what we believe to be Daizo made contact with Gin."

"A change in time, but the location remains," Gin added.

"When?" Akasha asked.

"Tomorrow afternoon," Tsukune responded.

Setting the bag aside over the kitchen counter, Akasha turned back to them.

"I strongly suggest you reconsider some back up in case things don't go as planned. If you wish it, I could have a few of Hiklohan's better soldiers on standby and..."

"It'll be okay," Tsukune shook his head. "We'll be just fine. I'll take my place out on the perimeter somewhere, while Gin takes his place inside."

"Tsukune is right. If too many are involved, it's more likely my cover gets blown. This'll be a piece of cake, trust me," the werewolf winked at Akasha.

"Very we'll, if you insist," Akasha replied, holding a smile.

And from there she turned her back and went straight for the kitchen and siding with Moka. She pulled out a few items from the bag, which included a few canned goods, spices and other ingredients.

"There's a special dish which I picked up on in the last four years which I've been meaning for you to try. Oh and that reminds me!"

Akasha jumped back somewhat.

"Gracious, with all that's been happening in the past couple hours I totally forgot about her."

"What, Sasha? Isn't she with Bruce and Alfred, she should be perfectly fine."

"Yeah, that's just it... things are a little bit more complicated now. There's been a late development of sorts," Akasha giggled nervously.

Moka immediately dropped what she was doing and gazed upon her mother.

"What development?"

And not far from them within the living-room, Gin's cell phone went off and ringing; pulling it from his pocket and without even answering the call his eyes shot open. Tsukune was staring straight at him and felt a bit worried.

"What's happening?"

"Damn it, I completely forgot… Kurumu," the werewolf ran a hand over his face.

"What about Kurumu?" Moka responded from inside the kitchen, and Akasha looking on as well.

Tsukune took a stand from his seated position and standing over Gin while glimpsing over the message which read, "You still coming?"

"What's that supposed to mean, you two meeting up?" Tsukune asked.

Leaning forward, Gin took a stand.

"Something like that. She's got another scheduled to begin in the next hour. San and I agreed to show up as support," Gin looked down and going through his contacts. "San is probably already there, just like I should be."

"Oh really!" Akasha said excitedly as she stepped from around the counter. "Then we should all go and show our support… if possible."

Reaching into his left pocket Gin uncovered a few tickets.

"Just enough for us all, if you all would like to come. Already promised her I would, so no backing out now," Gin said.

Much as she looked forward to cooking with and for her mother, Moka also wanted to support one of her best friends.

"Let's go, where to?" Moka asked.

"Not far. Yokai realm. A well-known venue. Maybe thirty minutes from the Uanora capital. We'd make it with plenty of time to spare if we left right now," Gin said.

XXX

It was just after sunrise and members of the camp slowly began to awake, and Dinah Lance among one of the first. Gathering up her personal belonging and tossing it up over her shoulder, Canary situated herself beside Luke. She pulled and tugged at him until he finally awoke.

"Come on, rise and shine. Time to get a move on."

Sitting upright and yawning, Luke ran a hand over his face and leaned forward; staying like that for a few moments before looking up.

"You alright, you look exhausted," Dinah pointed.

"I'm good, just give me a few," Luke responded.

Stepping away, she gave him exactly that. And a second later a certain someone passed from his left, but from about fifteen yards away, winking and blowing him a kiss. This caused his body and muscles to tighten. Every detail of last night was clear in his mind and the taste of her fresh over his lips. Sucking in air, he took a stand and slowly walked over towards her.

"Miukei, can I talk..."

The vampire silently growled, as she turned and looking back at him.

"We aren't talking about last night. Not now, or ever. Unless I say, got it?"

"Yeah, sure... whatever you say."

"Good, now get lost," she threw her hair back and marching away from him.

"Okay, so that just happened," Luke scratched at the back of his head.

Not a moment later came a strike of lightening in the distance and the entire sky covered with dark clouds.

"Looks like a storm is upon us. Let's hurry and get a move on," Tsech said.

Gathering his belongings, Luke sided with Dinah as the whole group soon took off. The group had moved along and in search of the other half of their group they lost during the ambush/skirmish. They intended to keep going until nightfall in hopes of avoiding another attack. But their plan was delayed by a harsh rainstorm about an hour in. The wind made their skin burn as rain and ice spat at their hooded faces.

Tsech scampered on ahead to look for shelter. Miukei followed; only too occasionally look back to make sure the others weren't falling behind. There wasn't much talking that went on due to the conditions. Suddenly a great gale of wind struck Dinah and almost pushed her off her feet. It wasn't much better for the others. Luke tried keeping himself steady, but as he staggered backwards he accidently slipped on a stack of wood. And with the combination of wind he was thrown down a deep slope.

"Luke!" Dinah gasped, as she quickly raced after him.

"Are you alright?" she asked, while steadily bringing him to his feet.

"Fine, Dinah- Ah! I think my ankle might be twisted," he winced.

"Don't worry, we'll find shelter soon," she replied, cloaking him from the harsh winds as they slowly trudged on.

A ship crew member scurried over to their side.

"No worries, I've got him," he said.

From a distance Pez called out to everyone, claiming he'd found a place. Everyone headed in that direction and Pez led them into the deeply rooted hollow.

"Hah, well done, boy! We'll rest here for now," the ship captain sighed in relief.

There was probably no one more relieved than the vampire, as the conditions were literally like poison to her body. Everyone settled in pretty quick and Luke finding a corner to sit. The lieutenant noble slowly walked towards and approached him.

"How's the ankle?" Pez questioned.

"Huh? Yeah, I'll be alright," Luke responded, with his back leaned against the wall.

The cave was big enough to shield them from the harsh winds and downpour, but the cold dampness from the storm wasn't doing them much in the way of favors. Their best hopes were to wait until the storm died down.

"Do you… Do you think it's possible to gather some wood for a fire?" Dinah muttered on the other end of the cave, curling herself into a ball, feeling the prickling waves up her arms and face.

"I'm afraid not. Even if we could find some twigs or wood they'd be too damp for a fire…" Tsech sighed woefully, tucking his exposed hands inside his robe to help shield them from the conditions.

"That's unfortunate," she responded.

Within the hour everyone was settled in and found a place to rest.

"Mind if I join you. I can help keep you warm," Isla found Luke in a corner, by his lonesome.

He looked up as she sat beside and cuddled up next to him.

"Sure," Luke breathed out.

And as she leaned back, she did so with her head against his chest. Isla slipped and curled up in his embrace. Luke wrapped his arms around her and held the two of them close. But then something came to mind.

"What if someone comes this way, turns the corner and sees us like this?" Luke whispered.

She chuckled and only looked up at him somewhat.

"They won't," Isla answered, rubbing the side of her face up against his.

This led to her resituating and looking him in the face as he did the same. Giving him a quick peck of the lips, both smiled as she then went back in for another but this time deeper as their lips mushed together. Soon they were touching and fondling one another as they made out; licking at each other's tongues.

The whole venue was decorated with flowers and much else that made the place suitable for the pageant event. All contestants were backstage preparing themselves for what was to come. It was a sellout crowd with plenty filling the outside waiting area. Nervous energy was felt between many of the contestants, especially those who were here for the first time. Uyone and Kentor were the hosts for the night's event.

"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, tonight we will witness the crowning of our very first Mister and Miss Leiruit! For starters, may we introduce to you the judges for this year's pageant?"

Everyone clapped and applauded. Those in charge waited for the cheering to die down before continuing

"And now, may we present to you the contestants of the Leiruit pageant!"

That's was the cue for things to progress and so they did. San's eyes went wide when she saw the contestants. Oh my gosh; she thought! Everyone looked so magnificent! Gin sat beside her and he thought the same. Both kept an eye out for a certain bust succubus who had not yet made her presence felt. Moka, Tsukune and Akasha were also in attendance but the Dark Lord in disguise so not to draw too much attention to herself and take away from the event. Around her neck was a specialized choker that both altered her appearance and masked her energy signature. The judges were also introduced who sat in a booth off to the left side of the room. And soon someone pulled a large glass box onto the stage. The box was full of papers.

"Before we begin all the contestants must retrieve one paper from our Lucky box and depending on which symbol will determine which genre you shall take part in and model," the spokesperson explained.

With that said, all the contestants proceeded to pick their lucky papers. During this process Kurumu came into view and she not only made eye contact with Gin and San, but the others behind them as well. Seeing all of them there in person, as support brought a smile to her face. Each waved and she quickly did the same back before reaching into the box. And shortly after each contestant had a piece of folded paper. Each contestant slowly looked over their selection. A loud thump came and everyone's head turned. It was none other than the general manager walking gracefully onstage. It was also at this time that the contestants headed backstage.

"Thank you all for coming, and we hope you enjoy the show. As you know, contestants will dress in different costumes of their own choice based on the selected genre and walk down our cat walk to show you all their style and fashion! Right now our contestants are busy putting on their selected costumes! And of course let's reveal the criteria for judging! Eliminations do not occur in this round!"

And the criteria for judging was as followed.

COSTUME STYLE: 40%

POISE: 40%

AUDIENCE IMPACT: 20%

Meanwhile on the backstage, the contestants were busy fixing themselves and readying themselves to present their selection of outfits.

"Kurumu! We should fix your hair! Here, I'll help you!" Ageha took a comb into her hand and started fixing her daughter's hair.

Had Ageha not claimed herself as Kurumu's manager and agent, she never would have been allowed backstage. The thought caused her to chuckle. And by then Kurumu was already dressed. She looked at herself through the mirror with great detail and this didn't go unobserved by Ageha.

"You look good, don't worry," the older succubus smiled.

Kurumu blushed and hugged her mother.

"Thank you! Let's hope the audiences think the same."

"They will," Ageha said confidently.

Others throughout were hurrying and getting themselves ready, fully dressed and adding last moment touch-ups. Kurumu was about to make a comment when they heard the director yell, "Contestants get ready! One more, minute."

With that everyone rushed to put on their respective attires who hadn't already. And within two minutes the show was underway.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you the candidates of Leiruit Pageant!"

The audiences applauded as contestants walked out onstage one by one.

First up was Amity Blaise, who wore a pretty white dress with bunnies design and a cute bunny ears on her head. Just as every other contestant she was in human form, but her true nature was that of a gyokuto.

"Amity -chan looks soo cute!" Moka clapped.

"You know who she is?" Tsukune looked to her, surprised.

"How could I not, she's talked about all over. Can't believe you haven't heard of or seen a picture."

Next was Albert Atkinson, walking out in a caveman look, complete with a wooden staff and loincloth. His hidden true form was that of a Hitotsume-kozo.

"Wahaha! That costume really suits him!" someone in the audience shouted.

Cornelia Fauna came onstage next, dressed as something that was similar to a cook/chef. She wore a toque on her head and carried a plate of desserts and the crowds applauded.

And following was Reiko Brown wearing a three piece suit but in bright colors much like a rainbow, and a bright red hat! Everyone laughed as he walked onstage grudgingly. Of all the cards he could land, it just had to be this one! He thought to himself. Of all the possible options, this was. Nearly ten contestants passed over the stage before Kurumu made her first appearance. She was dressed in very sexy type maid costume. Of course every male in the audience cheered as she walked down the cat walk acting like an innocent maid and winked a few times at the whistling guys. She especially gave her group an extra look who were all smiles. Half a minute later, Tsukune was up and out of his seat.

"Where you going?" Moka asked.

"Restroom. I'll be back before you know it."

Tsukune boomed through the bathroom door across the room and and finding a stall to take care of his business. The vampire closed his eyes as he finished up, feeling relieved to get that out of his system. Afterwards he positioned himself in front of the sinks and searching for the one labeled herbal. But then the bathroom door cracked open as someone slipped through and tip toeing inside.

"Moka-san, what are you…"

"Ssssshhhh," the silver haired vampire retorted and silencing him.

Tsukune looked over at Moka and raised his left brow.

"No forreal, this is the boys' bathroom. What are you doing?" he said irritably.

After washing his hands he dried them off and sat over the counter then resumed to look at Moka. Shee had this funny look in her eyes, not the kind where she seemed like she wanted to talk but when on the battlefield or... Tsukune disregarded this slightly, the thought of it made his stomach twist in knots. She couldn't really have something like that in mind right now? Not at a time like this when they were here to support a friend.

Moka took in a deep breath and slowly walked over to Tsukune, stopping just a foot in front of him. She slowly looked up at him trying to avoid direct eye contact with her mate.

"The maintenance room was barely down that way," Moka pointed out and spoke quietly. "And I found a closed for maintenance sign."

She laughed evilly while Tsukune dropped his face into the palm of his hand.

"Moka-san, we absolutely cannot do this right now. We've got to watch and cheer on Kurumu," he said.

Not finding the comment amusing Moka glared at Tsukune for a moment before speaking.

"It'll just be a quickie…" she trailed off, looking at her feet she continued "When the urge comes on, that's it," she said, a little provoked.

Tsukune relaxed against the wall behind him and sighed. Moka shuddered for a moment then looked up a Tsukune. She always got what she wanted and wasn't afraid of anything, especially when it came to him. Moka slowly moved closer to Tsukune. Truthfully she wasn't proud of the idea of doing it in a place like this, or a time like now but it certainly wasn't their first time in a bathroom. Moka stopped just inches in front of Tsukune, almost pinning him on the counter. The look in Moka's eyes was enough to shut anyone up. It was a look of determination and lust. And much as he wanted to hold back, Tsukune felt his own arousal mounting. Moka placed both hands on the counter, each hand on one side of Tsukune's legs. The silver haired vampire with streaks of pink leaned in and pressed her mouth on his. With their mouths mashed together they kissed roughly, but passionately for a little over half a minute before breaking away. Both breathed heavy and stared at at each other.

"Moka-san, we really shouldn't," Tsukune said in between breaths.

His partner just grinned

"Just accept it, babe," she said in a confident tone before planting another kiss on Tsukune.

Moka wrapped her arms around Tsukune tightly and slowly slid him off the counter so he was standing. Tsukune's heart was pounding and he couldn't move; Moka held him so tight.

She felt his muscles relax as she kept the kiss going, feeling that the time was right Moka parted her lips and gently licked Tsukune's mouth.

Tsukune took in Moka's tongue softly caressing his lips, and he was enjoying it far too much given the timing. Carefully Moka slipped one hand towards Tsukune's zipper and began to gently massage the fabric. She could feel the mass within' start to harden, it sent a shiver down her spine. It was so hot, she gripped Tsukune tighter and unzipped the head chairman's pants and resumed massaging.

Stifling a moan Tsukune couldn't resist any longer. He kissed Moka as deeply as he could, slipping his tongue into her mouth. Roughly he pulled his arms from Moka's tight grasp and wrapped his arms around his wife's slender neck. The feeling of Moka's hand rubbing his cock over his boxers was driving him nuts.

Moka stopped massaging Tsukune and carefully slid her finger on his waistband, causing Tsukune to swallow hard. Moka pressed her body onto Tsukune's so that she could feel his arousal.

Tsukune moaned and broke the kiss and leaned in to Moka's ear. Gently he nibbled on her earlobe and whispered "You're the best, Moka-san."

Tsukune then decided it was time he took control and so he did, swinging Moka around and pressed her up against a wall, he looked into Moka's soft red eyes and slid her pants down along with his own. Slowly Tsukune removed his shirt revealing a toned muscular torso. Softly he kissed Moka before turning her around and tossing her on the cold tile floor. Gently he sat on Moka's legs and grabbed her arms, crossing her wrists above her head. Using his shirt he tied Moka's wrists together and flipped her onto her back. He sat further up so that he and Moka were touching. He felt Moka wriggle her hips.

Moka watched as Tsukune leaned in to kiss her. She felt his cock ache to be touched, man Tsukune was kinky when he wanted to be. It was driving her nuts, she'd give anything to run her hand through Tsukune's hair.

He slowly moved his hips causing his cock to rub up against Moka's clit. The sensation made Moka arch her back and groan under their kiss. Tsukune broke the kiss and smiled.

"Sit up." he said teasingly.

Moka did as she was told and before she knew it, she could feel Tsukune's length enter her mouth.

"Suck," demanded Tsukune.

He gripped the back of Moka's head and softly thrusted his hips. He didn't want to choke Moka, not yet. Moka sucked as hard as she could, using her tongue to rub at certain areas. Tsukune thrusted harder and harder, shoving his cock into the back of Moka's throat causing the vampire to choke slightly every few thrusts. Seeing that Moka's eyes were watering Tsukune ceased and pushed Moka back onto the floor. Smiling he spread Moka's legs and inserted himself into her entrance. Moka made a muffled noise and arched her back once more and once more. As Tsukune pounded into her, she couldn't help but almost scream. Unable to take it anymore Moka squirmed trying to break her wrists free. Tsukune noticing this thrusted harder, knowing that he was driving Moka to the edge. He could sense that Moka needed to cum, but he wouldn't let her, not just yet.

"Tsukune… please," Moka moaned, she looked into his eyes.

Tsukune smirked and gave one hard thrust causing Moka to scream. The sound almost made Tsukune release, it was so sexy to hear the noises Moka was making in such a place. Still thrusting, he used one hand to untie Moka.

Moka instantly pulled Tsukune in to a kiss, the deepest one they shared tonight. She was going to lose it, she couldn't remember the last time she was this turned on. Tsukune thrusted still harder and harder until he heard Moka's last moan. Tsukune felt his own release near and finished deep and hot inside Moka. But as he pulled out additional cum splashed over her face and neck, the sticky liquid dripped back onto Moka's stomach. Both breathing heavy they looked in to each other's eyes and kissed once more. After breaking the kiss Tsukune rubbed his member up against her.

"No one hears about this, got it Moka-san?" Tsukune snapped.

"Yeah, but did you have to cum all over me?" she licked some from her lips. "I'm a complete mess now. You should have emptied it all out inside…"

Tsukune offered a hand and helped her to her feet.

"It's okay, we'll get you all cleaned up," Tsukune smiled.

A brown-haired teen goblin in human form stared moodily out of the carriage window, wishing it would stop raining. If it stopped, he could return home faster. The carriage was stuffy and uncomfortable after the ten hour journey. There was still some ways to go before they reached Fuoulet Manor.

"We will be arriving at the town of Norzet shortly. Fuolet Manor is just a few minutes ride after that, Lord Achille," one of the guards said, riding next to the carriage.

Achille nodded to acknowledge he'd heard. The guard wasn't worthy of a verbal reply; really none of them were. The security moved away from the window and joined his captain at the front of the party.

"I hate the little brat. He's so full of himself. I'd like to-"

"Soldier! You will refrain from speaking in such a way of the royal family of Fuolet. If you do so again, your life will be forfeited. Do you understand?" the captain said sharply.

The guard nodded and continued to mentally insult Achille.

"Although, Lord Achille is a bit irritable. It's probably because of the weather."

"I didn't intend any disrespect, Captain."

Unexpectedly, a scream cut through the air. The captain and the guard turned around and saw dark figures appear out of nowhere. They were then pulled from their horses. The next thing the captain felt was a sharp pain in the right side of his neck as something bit down forcefully and his blood being sucked away. He tried fighting whoever or whatever it was off, but quickly felt fatigue from the amount of blood loss sustained. Eventually he was tossed to the side and fell flat, unable to propel himself up as the vampire licked his blood from her lips. She had light blonde hair, tan skin and dark red eyes with a slit through them. Her hair was held back by a tiara and wavy with bangs framing her forehead. She was dressed in a white dress with snow white gloves and white boots.

The carriage door was jerked open and found the young noble inside.

"Kahlua, he's here," Akua looked the young lord in the eyes who appeared terrified.

The vampire reached in and pulled him out and held onto his wrist tight.

"You're coming with us, boy," Akua then turned and looked in the direction of her younger sister. "Is this him, Achille?"

Kahlua didn't get the chance to respond as someone else did in her place.

"That's him," Kuyo said. "And you're certain he has the info we're after?"

"If what I learned from Augustine is accurate, then yes."

Kahlua turned and stared into the brown eyes of the youngster and giggled by how frightened he looked.

"You're too cute to kill. We'll take you back with us and if you cooperate you might just make it out alive."

A portal appeared in front of them nearly thirty yards down the dirt road and Circe stepping out.

"Looks like our ride back is here," Akua said as she pulled the young lord along. "Come kid, let's go."

And with that their entire group took off with Achille's eight man protective unit either knocked unconscious or dead.

Audrey looked out of her bedroom window as it snowed, which blanketed the ground and looked like ice crystals. The child looked towards her door when it creaked open. Sasha, her older sister, walked in and with a smile on her face. Sasha was dressed in gray sweats and a pink t-shirt.

"Come on nee-chan! Get dressed, we're gonna go outside okay. It's going to be fun," Sasha said as she went to her sister's closet and pulled out a pair of purple/black leggings and a sweatshirt.

Audrey sat up, looking to Sasha tiredly. She wanted to catch a nap before dinner, but was happy Sasha would be staying the night.

"What are you doing, let's go?!" Sasha said excitedly as she jumped up.

The succubi stretched once more before hoping out of bed and bats swamping the clothing Sasha set out for her. Those same bats then zipped around and surrounding Audrey entirely and when they dispersed she was dressed in the clothing.

"It's only been a couple hours but what do you think of the Makai palace? You like?" Audrey smiled at her.

"Yes, yes! It's so big, even bigger then mum's castle which is larger than papa's manor. Show me around the rest of the palace, there's still a whole lot I haven't seen. Pretty please?!" she jumped up and down in front of Audrey.

The succubus chuckled, seeing the excitement exerted by the vampire.

"That's mom's call. There's places in the palace off limits to me too; places I can't go," Audrey replied.

As seen in her eyes, Sasha only became even more interested.

"You never worry about what might be in these places? Come on, you and I together," Sasha took hold of Audrey's wrist. "Let's go explore these places. You gotta show me now!"

Immediately Audrey pulled her arm away from Sasha and frowned.

"Not happening. Mom knows everything. We try to go to any of those places and she'll find out, especially under this roof. Nothing gets passed her," Audrey was with her hands together. "Trust me, she's got some sort of six sense or some weird ability."

The succubus then just sort of shrugged, uncaring.

"Drop it sis, let's go play in the snow. You ready?"

Audrey smiled as she watched her sister get so excited. It was already after dark and the moon a bright red.

"We're going to play in the snow, yay!"

Sasha ran downstairs, while Audrey followed more slowly. When they reached the front hall, Audrey helped her sister put on a snowsuit and boots from a nearby closet. Audrey did the same for herself.

"Here are some snow mittens, sis?" Audrey waved her hands over Sasha's.

And just like that bats appeared around her hands and forming mittens around them as they disappeared.

"That's so cool nee-chan, how you do that?" Sasha asked.

"A specialty passed down from mom. Let's go play!"

"Teach me one day, me want to learn how to do that."

Sasha then jerked the door open and cold wind blew the snow in. The vampire then shrieked and slammed the door shut.

"It's cold!"

Audrey laughed lightly.

"Duh, of course it is. It's that time of year," Audrey opened the door and shoved Sasha out and closed it behind them. "I don't know what you were expecting. Eighty degree weather? What do you want to do first?"

The exit led them to the back of the castle, which was surrounded by twenty foot gates which surrounded the entire palace.

"Build a snow person! Maybe a princess!" Sasha yelled as she looked around for the perfect spot to start.

She pointed to a flat area.

"We'll put her there, yes!"

Audrey nodded and skipped over in that direction. Together they started rolling the snow. Sasha rolled the medium sized ball and Sasha with a small sized one and together they created a larger one. And with the assist of each other each was stacked atop each other. And with the use of bats once more Audrey turned the balls of snow into something magnificent, which if Sasha hadn't seen it with her own two eyes wouldn't have believed it. When the product was complete it was that which resembled a young girl wearing a crown. Sasha jumped up and down clapping and applauding before throwing her arms around Audrey.

"It looks so amazing, you're so cool nee-chan!" Sasha held her tight.

And after they broke away Audrey picked up some snow and threw it straight at the vampire.

"Hey!" Sasha yelled as she ran after her sister, who took off running.

For several minutes they went at it, but didn't realize they were being watched from afar; someone sitting atop a section of the roof. After a while Audrey lunged forward and tackling Sasha to the ground as they rolled a few times over. Soon thereafter they spread their legs and arms, creating snow angels. Afterwards they again rolled around in some more snow, giggling and laughing.

"I'm cold" Sasha said, shivering as she laid on her side.

"Me too," Audrey rolled over as she looked Sasha in the eyes. "How about we go inside and go get some hot cocoa, yeah?" Audrey pulled Sasha up.

Sasha nodded as they looked towards the castle and walked that way. They reentered through the same way they exited. And once inside they changed into different clothes.

"Hey, you two," Lilith waved.

The pink haired succubus boiled a pot of water. Lilith then pulled two cups out of the cupboard. One cup had rabbits on it and the other had kitten patterns. When the water was boiled, Lilith poured it into the two cups and mixed in the hot chocolate mix. She then took the two cups to both girls. Both sisters looked at each other and then back at Lilith.

"How'd you know?" Audrey asked.

"Been watching you," Lilith smirked. "Careful, it's hot."

Both took quick sips and their faces lit up as they sighed.

"Good," Sasha said.

"Very," Audrey added.

"Glad you think so," Lilith smiled.

From around a corner someone entered the kitchen area with spiky light blue hair, purple eyes, a black trench coat, black boots and a silver chain around his neck. He wore dark colored pants, and a white tank underneath. He stood at 5'10 and his expression mostly blank.

"Who dat?" Sasha pointed him out, while Audrey looked that way.

"Hhhhmmm, don't know I've never seen him before. Maybe a newly hired staff member to the palace," Audrey shrugged.

Lilith lightly giggled and shook her head.

"No. He is not of Morrigan's staff, his name's Haruo and he's with me."

The two sisters glanced at each other and then back at Lilith.

"You mean like a couple?" Sasha pointed out.

"Oh no!" Lilith jumped back in defense with hands situated out in front of her. "Not like that remotely. It's complex, I really don't know what to call it, hhhmmm; maybe like…"

The pink haired succubus twiddled with her fingers and rubbing at her sides.

"Family, hhhmmm… no I don't think that would describe it either."

Haruo just sort of shook his head and face-palmed.

"You really don't have to explain yourself to these little rats."

"Rats?!" Sasha jumped.

"Excuse us?!" Audrey marched forward. "Take it back or I'll slap the living soul out of your body!"

"You can do that nee-chan?! So cool, me want to see it!" Sasha said excitedly.

It was now Lilith's turn to face-palm, which she did leaning forward. What the hell was even happening right now?

To be continued
