CJ woke up the next morning in his hotel room. This was his big moment! He was now ready to bail his brother out of jail! He couldn't wait to show Sweet his new life! He had to round up his friends to help make the last few wads of cash to finally wrap everything up before going back to Los Santos.
CJ felt his heart thumping in excitement. He got dressed in clean clothes and headed out the hotel room. Just then, he heard his cellphone ring. CJ pulled it out of his pocket to answer it.
"Yeah," he answered.
"Hey, Carl," he heard Kendl say. "I heard that you now owning the Four Dragons Casino. It's nice that you've moved on up."
"Oh f'sho, sis," CJ replied. "My man Woozie made me the co-owner of the casino. We making progress now."
"That's good," Kendl replied. "That's good. Glad to see you moving up."
"So how are things back in San Fierro?" CJ asked.
"Our business is still booming," Kendl told him. "Everybody's doing good here – Cesar, Lisa, the mechanics, Zero, although Ryder did leave somewhere."
"Ryder?" CJ asked. "Where he at?"
"I don't know," Kendl told him. "He's been gone since last month. I think he might be back in Los Santos or something. He's probably fine though...either that or someone eventually put his dumb ass in rehab. That's where he need to be with his half-stoned ass."
"Damn," CJ muttered. "I hope he still fine."
"He'll turn up someday," Kendl told him. "He and LB be out everywhere. Well anyway, I'll be over there at the Four Dragons Casino any moment now. Just meet me there. We can give out auditions for the casino. We need some talent there."
"Yeah, okay," CJ said. "That would be great. I'll meet you over there, sis."
CJ hung up the phone and walked outside. He couldn't wait to see his little sister after almost two months away from San Fierro. Since he already is the co-owner of the Four Dragons Casino, he could use someone else's talent. It was a nice, cool morning. So CJ decided to just walk to the Four Dragons Casino.
Hours had passed, and CJ, Kendl, and Woozie had been giving auditions to others for shows. The current one was a midget singing off-key, and the other three just shook their heads in disbelief at his performance.
"Don't hate the little man, because he's packing a 6 shooter!" the midget sang.
"Next!" Kendl announced in an annoyed voice.
"Thank you," CJ replied with a sigh.
"Thank you?" the midget snapped in disbelief. "Thank you?! Do you know how much balls it takes to stand down here and sing a song like that? It takes guts!"
"I'm sorry," Woozie apologized calmly. "We're just looking for something with a little more mass appeal."
"What could have more mass appeal than a song like "Small But Perfectly Formed"?" the midget asked, his ego growing wider. "Women want me. Men want to be like me! Assholes!"
The midget stormed away while everyone else laughed at him.
"You gotta be kidding me, right?" Kendl asked in annoyance.
"Damn!" CJ muttered. "This casino game is hard work. I thought it was just a case of opening the doors and letting suckers give you their money."
"If only," Woozie said.
"You know what?" Kendl said. "I'm getting bored here. I'm trying to do business, not audition midgets."
"People of reduced stature, you mean," Woozie replied.
"Yeah, yeah," Kendl grumbled. "I said that. All I know is, when are we gonna get some real talent in here?"
"I heard that," CJ agreed.
Just then, he saw Madd Dogg enter the room. "Madd Dogg!" he cried out in amazement.
"CJ!" Madd Dogg replied giving CJ a handshake. "I'm clean, dude!"
"That's good news, man," CJ said. "What's cracking? You ready to take it to the stage again?"
"Easy, CJ, c'mon, man," Madd Dogg told him calmly. "One step at a time, you know? I'm almost ready, but, but..."
"But what?" CJ asked.
"I want to go home now, CJ," Madd Dogg told him.
"That's cool, man," CJ said. "I'll take you. Where's home?"
"My mansion, baby," Madd Dogg replied.
"Yeah, I heard about that place," Kendl chimed in hopping out of her chair. "Drugs, sex, all that shit."
"Yeah, you know it," Madd Dogg said. "But..."
"Yeah," CJ answered. "Yeah I been there... I mean, I seen it on TV."
"Yeah," Mad Dogg replied.
"Nice crib," CJ complimented.
"Thanks, playa," Madd Dog said.
"We could do with a place like that to set up in LS again," CJ told him taking a seat onto the desk. "Wait for Sweet. Get things moving. Get out dis midget game."
"But, CJ..." Madd Dogg protested. "Come on, man..."
"What?" CJ asked hopping onto his feet and stepping to Madd Dogg. "I saved your life, man!"
"My mansion ain't big enough," Madd Dogg claimed. "Only got 19 bedrooms, you hear?"
After realizing how implausible the claim was, Madd Dogg decided that it was time for him to come clean. "A'ight, man," Madd Dogg conceded. "My mansion's been seized.
"IRS?" Woozie asked jumping out of his chair.
"Nah," Madd Dogg muttered. "Not exactly."
"Who?" CJ asked.
"Nobody," Madd Dogg said turning away.
"Who, Madd Dogg?" CJ asked determined.
"A'ight, Big Poppa," Madd Dogg finally answered.
"Big Poppa!" CJ asked turning his head sideways. "The drug dealer? Man... you gave your multi million-dollar mansion to a motherfucking pusher?"
"You know, CJ, these things happen," Madd Dogg claimed. "I was powerless!"
"You fucking degenerate!" CJ snapped. "Oh - man! How much blow can one guy snort?!"
"It's not my fault, CJ!" Madd Dogg protested.
"Man, I should have let you jump!" CJ shouted. "Come with me. All of you! We're ALL going home!"
The remaining three followed CJ as he headed for the exit.
CJ was later on the Andromada, which flew about Las Venturas and on its way to Los Santos. The custodian was the pilot while Woozie was sitting in the passenger's seat. The other Triads were also with CJ as well, and they all were strapped with parachutes over their shoulders. CJ heard his cellphone ring and pulled it out of his pocket to answer it.
"Hello," CJ answered.
"Hey, what's up, Carl?" he heard Kendl answer.
"Hey, Kendl," CJ replied. "Whassup?"
"Nothing," Kendl told him. "Just thought I'd wish you luck. We're gonna drive back to, uh, San Fierro first. Wanna check things out there before we hook up with you guys in Los Santos."
"Alright cool," CJ replied. "You be careful out there, sis."
"I'll be fine," Kendl told him confidently. "I got the guys and Lisa to keep me safe. You be careful."
"I will," CJ said. "I'll see you in Los Santos."
CJ hung up the phone and turned to Guppy, who was standing right next to CJ.
Me and you gonna go in to clear the place out so the rest of the crew can move in in peace," CJ told Guppy.
"Good idea," Guppy replied. "The element of surprise."
CJ answered his walkie talkie.
"Hey Woozie," he answered. "Give me our destination."
"According to the pilot here, we're headed north of LS, CJ," Woozie said through the walkie talkie. "Prepare to aim for the target."
CJ looked below to find the Vinewood sign up ahead. The plane had entered Los Santos, and the Triads were skydiving off the plane and floating in the sky after releasing their parachutes.
The other Triads were on the plane attempting to jump out of the plane with parachutes strapped on their shoulders. They were right above the helipad on top of Madd Dogg's mansion and light flares.
"You ever jumped before?" one of the Triads asked the other.
"Nah," the other replied. "You?"
"Nah," the other Triad responded.
"When we land, we're going to feel invincible!" another Triad declared.
"I AM INVINCIBLE!" Guppy yelled skydiving off of the plane.
"Hey, wait up!" another Triad called following along.
As the two remaining Triads jumped out of the plane, CJ jumped out as well and took a strong nosedive. As he dove, he took a glance down below, where the mansion was just ahead. The wind rapidly blew through his face and clothing. The lights barely shone in his face as he dove closer.
After a few feet above the mansion, CJ finally activated his parachute and floated to the sky. Below, the Triads on top of the roof were taking on the Vagos. CJ arrived just in time to join in on the shootout and take them out one by one.
After the roof was clear, CJ lead the other Triads through the terrace and to the back door of Madd Dogg's mansion. They ducked behind some plants as they made it inside.
"We're heavily outnumbered," one of the Triads told CJ, "but if we all keep our heads, we should kick ass!"
The Triad spoke toon soon, because right afterwards, a Vago popped up from behind the plant and blew off the Triad's head.
"Die motherfuckers!" the Vago shouted. "None of you leaving this house alive!"
CJ took out the Vago and lead the remaining Triads through the hallways of the mansion, where they took out each and every Vago rolling out from the rooms to the sides. So CJ had to check every room to take out any Vago inside.
"CJ, clear the corridors," Guppy told CJ. "We will clear each room."
CJ complied and continued down the hallway in search of Big Poppa. Once he made it to the stairs, he saw that more Vagos were right down below. He took each of them out, with the help of the Triads.
"CJ, don't worry, we will guard the balcony," Guppy told him.
So CJ made it down the stairs and took out every Vago who tried to get in his way. As he saw that the hallway downstairs was clear, he prepared himself for any other Vago that would pop out from any other room.
"You chose the wrong house to rob, fool!" he heard Big Poppa shout out. He turned to catch the drug dealer in the act as he jumped out of the room. "You know who you are fucking with, do you? You trying to fuck with my house, with my shit?!"
The other Vagos popped out to shoot at CJ as Big Poppa attempted to escape. CJ took them all out and continued running down the hallway to chase after Big Poppa. He was enraged. So he quickly killed every Vago around the mansion and continued to dash after Big Poppa.
By the time CJ finally made it to the front door, Big Poppa had already dashed outside. CJ stepped outside right on time to watch Big Poppa escape and hop inside his gray Phoenix and drive away. CJ spotted a pink Windsor and hopped inside the vehicle.
He drove the vehicle out of the driveway and made a right turn on the road, where he saw Big Poppa driving away right ahead. CJ got close enough to perform a drive-by shooting at the drug dealer, who never even bothered to shoot back. As CJ continued firing bullets at the driving Phoenix, the vehicle eventually caught on fire, and CJ stopped and watched as the car rode a few inches away on the freeway right before eventually exploding.
CJ put his vehicle on park and punched in Madd Dogg's number. "Yo, Madd Dogg," he answered.
"CJ," Madd Dogg answered. "What's up, man?! You get my mansion back?"
"You bet, Dogg," CJ told him. "You won't have to worry about anyone taking over your crib. I cleared it all out."
"Thanks for the help, CJ!" Madd Dogg replied. "I'll be on my way back there any minute now! And just to let you know, you're free to crash into my crib anytime!"
As Madd Dogg hung up, CJ felt relieved. He was back home, but in a mansion rather than in the 'hood. He had moved on up and was looking forward to see Sweet to show him his new life. Of course, he still had to find a way to get back at Big Smoke for betraying him though. So he wouldn't be quite done yet.
CJ was now back into the crib, and soon, his cellphone rang. CJ pulled out of his pocket to answer it.
"Yeah?" CJ answered.
"Yo what's up, CJ?" he heard LB answer.
"Oh snap!" CJ cried. "What's up, LB? Long time, no see! Glad to hear from you, man!"
"You too, homie!" LB replied. "Miss talking to you after all these weeks, Dawg."
"So what's up with you?" CJ asked.
"I decided to return here in Los Santos to check up on Seville," LB answered. "It's still pretty fucked up down here."
"Yo, LB, you seen Ryder?" CJ asked.
"I don't know," LB replied. "It's been weeks since he was last with us in San Fierro."
"Really?" CJ asked. "You serious?! He ain't been with you for the past weeks?!"
"He said he was going in "hiding" or some shit like that," LB told him. "I don't know what he meant. I been around Los Santos and I ain't seen him around."
"Ah shit," CJ muttered. "Man, I hope he ain't been iced yet. I lost two family members, I don't want to lose my homie."
"I'm sure he and the other homies are all fine," LB told him. "He'll turn up eventually."
"I hope so," CJ replied, his heart thumping heavily. "A'ight, LB, I'll get back to you later."
"Much love, homie," LB told him.
As CJ hung up the phone, he had this bad feeling in his stomach. Ryder apparently hasn't been with the group in San Fierro for weeks since the day he started working for Mike Toreno. Where had Ryder gone to? Was he in rehab? Or did C.R.A.S.H. eventually find out about his scheme and finally murdered him? CJ quickly shook the feeling out of his mind. He didn't wanted to think of the thought of his childhood friend being murdered, especially since he was prepared to bail Sweet out of jail.
Before he began to have any more premonitions concerning Ryder's absence, CJ heard his cellphone ring. He once again answered it.
"Hello?!" he heard Ken say over the phone.
"Hey Ken, how you doing?" CJ asked.
"Who's this?" Ken asked with a sniff.
"It's Carl," CJ answered. "Carl Johnson!"
"Hey Carl," Ken answered as he took another sniff. "Guys, it's Carl, got real. Fucking great, fucking amazing!"
"Yeah," CJ told him. "I got a need for an accountant and a sound engineer, and I thought of you and Paul."
"Fucking amazing!" Ken cheered with another sniff. "Paul's great with figures and I'll make a fucking amazing photoshoot. It's fucking great, it's amazing!"
"Yeah, yeah, cool man," CJ said. "But look, see you soon."
"Fucking amazing!" Ken repeated.
CJ hung up the phone to wait for Madd Dogg and the Britains to return to the mansion. After he would get Sweet out of jail, eventually find Ryder, and get back at Big Smoke, CJ was ready to kiss his old 'hood life goodbye.
