Eleven days have passed and Sora and I have been discharged from the hospital. We're now home and settled. Kakashi has set up Takashi's old crib in our bedroom for Sora to sleep in. We've finished dinner about an hour ago and Takashi has gone to bed. Kakashi is cradling Sora in his arms while I prepare to breastfeed her on our bed.

"She feels so small in my arms," Kakashi paces around slowly with Sora.

He brings her over to me once he sees I'm ready to breastfeed her. I position her in front of my exposed right breast and she latches on after a few seconds.

"She's feeding very well," I gaze down at Sora as she feeds on my right nipple. "Even though she doesn't have any hair yet, she's still so cute. Imagine when her hair comes in!"

"I wonder whose hair she takes after," Kakashi sits on our bed next to me.

"We'll have to wait and see."

Kakashi scoots closer to me on my right and kisses Sora on the head.

"She's so calm," Kakashi caresses her head gently.

"That's what we thought of Takashi at first," I say. "Once he could walk, he was everywhere."

"While you were away at one point when he was three, I was giving him a bath and he ran around naked. Took me a while to get him in the tub."

"My parents told me I used to do that to them," I smile with a sweat drop.

Sora has stopped suckling and has fallen asleep. After helping her burp, I carefully take her to the crib and lay her down. Once I see she's comfortable, I raise my robe back and fix it over my shoulder before sitting back on the bed.

"I'm glad you two are finally home," Kakashi cuddles me as I lay back down.

"I've decided to stay to raise her with you until she's a year old," I say.

"And then you'll return to your mission?"

"Yes. I'll inform Sasuke tomorrow. He wrote to me today saying he's glad Sora and I are back home."

"He's much more personal with you than with me…" Kakashi pouts a bit.

"We've already been through this," I giggle. "He and I are more familiar with each other. Don't take it personal."

"And he gets to spend a lot more time with you…" he continues to pout.

"We'll use our time with me here wisely," I laugh and caress his face.

I cuddle with him until we eventually fall asleep.

A few months pass. Sora has been growing well and healthy. Her hair has come in now and is opening her eyes a lot more. Kakashi is holding her in the living room while Takashi and I finish cleaning up after lunch in the kitchen.

"I'm falling more in love with her," Kakashi lets Sora hold his finger. "She's got my silver hair."

"It's so adorable!" I walk into the living room with Takashi. "And it looks like she has your nonchalant eyes."

"So far she's taking after me a lot. I'm hoping she also has my tranquil personality."

"She's so cute," Takashi smiles down at his sister.

Kakashi continues to gaze down at Sora as she curiously plays with his finger.

"How's Naruto doing at the office?" I ask as I sit next to Kakashi.

"He's getting the hang of it," Kakashi replies. "Speaking of which, you and I need to head there now," he glances at Takashi. "You've got a mission he's assigning you to."

"Oh yeah. I almost forgot," Takashi says.

"Back to your mother now," Kakashi hands Sora to me.

"It's time to feed her anyway," I cradle Sora in my arms.

"We'll see you when we get back," Kakashi kisses the top of my head then Sora's head. "Let's go, Takashi."

"See ya!" Takashi waves.

The both of them head for the front door and leave.

"Do you know what kinda mission it is?" Takashi asks his father.

"I think it's a quick mission," Kakashi replies. "Nothing too serious."

"Thankfully."

"Race you there," Kakashi ruffles Takashi's hair and takes off.

"Hey! You always get a head start!" Takashi pouts as he goes after his father.

I'm finishing preparing dinner in the kitchen. Sora is in her bassinet in the living room taking a nap. Once I see the food is ready, I turn off the stove and begin to set up the plates.

"No way!" I hear Takashi as the front door opens. "I would have won if you hadn't tripped me!"

"Don't be such a sore loser," Kakashi teases.

"Welcome home," I turn to them as they enter through the kitchen doorway. "What are you two bickering about this time?"

"I was just about to beat him to the front porch," Takashi explains. "But dad tripped me and got ahead of me."

"Are you guys playing nicely?"

"Of course, dear," Kakashi lowers his mask and pecks me on the lips. "I'm just teaching Takashi a little lesson on not letting his guard down."

"Yeah, whatever," Takashi pouts.

"Where's my little girl?" Kakashi walks to the bassinet in the living room.

"He's gotten softer, hasn't he?" Takashi watches through the doorway at Kakashi as he plays with Sora who's now awake.

"He was never this soft with you," I also watch. "I guess it's because Sora is a girl. It brings out a whole new side of your father."

"Looks like my sister is going to be a daddy's little girl," Takashi laughs.

"He's such a good father…" I have a dreamy stare at Kakashi as he talks to Sora.

"I'll set up the rest of the food," Takashi sees I'm in a trance and continues to set up dinner for me.

Once the table is set up with dinner, Kakashi brings Sora in the bassinet into the kitchen so she can be near us. I sit across Kakashi and Takashi sits to my right and we begin to eat.

"So how was your mission?" I ask Takashi.

"It was good. I went with Maiko and Haruo," Takashi replies. "We just had to deliver a document to a nearby small village. Pretty easy. Aoba-sensei wasn't worried at all."

"I'm so glad Aoba is your team sensei. He does so well with you guys."

"He's a really cool sensei for our Team 7," Takashi nods.

"And how about you?" I turn to Kakashi. "How was supervising Naruto at the office?"

"It went well," Kakashi nods. "Naruto is getting the hang of things better."

"I'm glad to hear."

"So now that you're retired," Takashi questions his father. "What're you gonna be doing, especially not being Hokage?"

"There's still plenty I can do," Kakashi replies. "Plus, I'll be having my hands full with Sora, especially when your mother leaves on her mission again."

"Hm. That'll be interesting…" Takashi munches on his chicken.

"And while I'm gone," I say. "I expect you to be on your best behavior, and that includes you, Kakashi," I give him a look.

"I'll make sure of it, dear," Kakashi ignores Takashi who's sticking his tongue out at him. "I'm sure our little girl will keep me busy," he glances over at Sora.

"We'll see about that," I nod.
