The next morning, CJ drove through the city to pick up Sweet. Cesar, Kendl, and Lisa had all came back from San Fierro to stay at Madd Dogg's mansion with the rapper, Kent Paul, and Maccer just last night, and The Truth had also come around as well. CJ knew that even though Sweet wasn't interested in moving in the mansion with Madd, he had to at least let him see the rest of the family.

So CJ hopped onto a BF Injection and drove down the driveway and onto the road. He still hasn't heard from Ryder, and the latter's voicemail kept coming on whenever CJ would call him.

CJ drove through Los Santos, reflecting on his past antics since his return in his hometown months ago. He wasn't sure where Big Smoke was, but he knew that he will eventually catch and confront the drug lord.

CJ finally made it to Grove Street and parked right in front of Sweet's house. He hopped out of the vehicle and walked to his brother's house. He knocked on the door and stood there thinking as he wondered what Sweet's reaction would be as he first took a look at the mansion.

CJ didn't have any time to think about more. He looked as he saw the front door yank open.

"Yo what up, Carl?" Sweet greeted. "What you got goin'?"

"I have something to show you," CJ told him. "It's over at Madd Dogg's mansion."

"Ah not your shit with that again," Sweet complained shaking his head. "Didn't I tell you that I ain't interested in that bullshit?"

"This ain't about the mansion, Sweet," CJ told him. "It's about finally seeing the family. Kendl's there too."

"Well why can't Kendl come here at her house to see us?" Sweet asked.

"Well first of all, she already moved in with her fiancé," CJ said.

Sweet sighed in frustration. "I shoulda known," he muttered. "Still fucking with them eses."

"Look, Sweet," CJ protested. "I think you should start accepting the fact that Kendl is now a young adult who's old enough to make her own decisions. She'll be 21 in February, and I think it's time you just learn to deal with the fact that she's happy with Cesar, and I've been getting along with him well ever since I was exiled from LS."

Sweet thought for a moment. He wasn't going to deny that Kendl was now a grown woman and was old enough to make her own choices. But at the same time, he didn't wanted to lose her after he had already lost his mother and brother because of the calamity in the hood.

After a while, he finally stated, "Well at least take me over there! I want to speak to this ese."

"Okay then, bro," CJ said. "Well hop on. I'll give you a ride."

CJ guided Sweet to the BF Injection and the two brothers rode away.

"Oh, Sweet," CJ told him as he drove through Idlewood. "There's also someone else I want to show you."

"Ryder's back?!" Sweet asked.

"Naw," CJ said. "I still ain't seen Ryder around yet. I meant someone else."

"Who is this person?" Sweet asked.

"I'm sure you already know about this person already," CJ told him driving through Commerce.

"I don't think I do," Sweet replied.

"This person came around to San Fierro with us and helped remodel the garage there," CJ told him cruising through Downtown Los Santos.

"Who, CJ?" Sweet asked. "Who is this person you want me to meet?"

"If I just told you, you won't believe me," CJ answered as he made a right turn on Market.

"What makes you think I ain't gonna believe you?" Sweet asked.

"I just want it to be a surprise," CJ told him making a left turn on Vinewood.

Sweet chuckled a little. "Okay, bro," he answered. "I'll see who it is."

CJ made his way up the hill around Vinewood and drove through the road that led to Madd Dogg's mansion. He rode through the driveway and parked the vehicle by the garage.

"I didn't know dude lived that high up," Sweet said as he hopped out of the vehicle.

"You'd be surprised where many dudes live at," CJ told him.

The two headed up the stairs and through the back door. They stepped inside the building, and CJ turned to Sweet.

"Alright, listen, bro," CJ told him. "You just wait right here. I have someone you should meet."

CJ walked down the hallway to search for the others. Madd Dogg, Kent Paul, and Maccer were in the studio, with the latter two working on the sound system of course. CJ finally entered one of the bedrooms, where he found Cesar, Kendl, and Lisa inside. Kendl was resting her head on Cesar's lap as the two lay comfortably in the bed, and Lisa was leaning on the front watching the television.

"Sup, y'all?" CJ greeted the three.

"Hey, Carl," the other three said together at once.

CJ then turned to Lisa. "Hey, Lisa," he said. "I got somebody you should meet."

"Somebody, huh?" Lisa answered.

"My brother Sweet," CJ said. "He here right now."

"Sweet's here at this mansion, right now?" Kendl asked sitting up, not hearing CJ correctly.

"Yeah," CJ replied.

"Ah damn," Kendl muttered panicking. "He probably gonna start throwing a fit when he sees me with Cesar."

"No te preocupes, chica," Cesar told Kendl. "I got this. I'll try to reason with him."

"Well you just stay here," CJ told him. "I'm gonna go get Sweet right now." CJ then turned and grabbed Lisa's arm. "Come on, Lisa," CJ said. "Let me take you to see Sweet real quick."

"I don't know, Carl," Lisa protested. "He probably gonna be mad at me for leaving Los Santos last year. I don't think he gonna be too happy to see me."

"Just give it a chance, girl," CJ told her. "I'm sure he'll be flattered to see you again after a year."

Lisa just sighed. "Okay, Carl," she finally uttered hopping onto her feet. "I'll go meet him."

CJ guided Lisa out of the bedroom as the two walked through the hallway.

"So when he get out of prison?" Lisa asked.

"Just the other night," CJ replied. "He still ain't letting that hood shit go. It's like he's attached to that place."

Lisa rolled her big, brown eyes. "Still have that hood mentality in him, huh?" she asked.

CJ just nodded. "He even flat-out told me the hood is where our lives are officially gonna end in," he said.

"Wow!" Lisa replied. "Somebody need to give that fool a reality check. I never seen someone so desperate to go back to the hood after all the bullshit that happened since then."

"I'll give him some time to think about it," CJ said. "It'll take a while, but he'll eventually see the fucked-up shit that happened and see my point."

"I hope so," Lisa said.

CJ and Lisa approached the door, where Sweet was facing the wall with his arms folded.

"Yo Sweet!" CJ called. "Look who I have hanging with me."

Sweet then turned around and wore a shocking expression the minute he caught a glimpse at Lisa. He took a second glance to make sure it was really her.

"Lisa?" he asked. "Is that really you, girl?"

"It's me," Lisa replied. "It's only been a year."

Sweet and Lisa ran to each other and hugged each other tightly. They were never so glad to see each other after a year had elapsed since they last talked to each other.

"I miss you, girl," Sweet told her.

"Me too," Lisa replied. "I'm so glad you out of prison, Sean."

"So glad to be out," Sweet told her. He took a discerning look at Lisa. "You still look the same, girl. You ain't changed at all." Then he looked down at Lisa's right leg, which had the long, pink scar across it. Sweet then remembered Lisa's bullet wound from last year and felt bad about it. "Sorry I got you shot last year, girl," Sweet told her gloomily.

"It's fine, Sean," Lisa told him. "Thanks for keeping me safe during that time. I wouldn't be able to see another year if you hadn't saved me at the last minute."

"No problem, girl," Sweet replied. "What you been up to?"

"I went over to San Fierro to help your brother and friends remodel the garage over on Doherty road," Lisa told him. "We turned that place into a successful business."

"Oh yeah?" Sweet said.

"And I had Carl help me do most of the artwork on the designs back there," Lisa added. "Your brother really knows how to use that paint spray."

"He learned that from his leader," Sweet replied. "I been teaching him how to tag the turf. So where's Kendl?"

"She's in the bedroom down there with Cesar," Lisa told him.

"Of course," Sweet muttered. "I guess I'm gonna have to have a discussion with this Cesar fella."

So CJ, Sweet, and Lisa walked down the hallway. "Looks like we finally got the family back together," CJ said.

"Speaking of family," Sweet said, "hey Lisa, you seen your brother around lately?"

"Not since the past two months," Lisa responded. "I would've thought he was back with you since you plan to marry that Grove gang life and he'd be there to offer you the ring."

Sweet chuckled slightly. "Same old Lisa," he muttered running his hand down Lisa's hair. "Always keeping a brother cool by throwing shade at them."

"Hey," Lisa told him, "don't forget who was the one that got locked up now."

"You got me," Sweet admitted. "I'll shut up for now."

The trio finally entered the room to find Kendl and Cesar resting together on the bed. Kendl turned back just in time to spot the two, her main focus being on Sweet.

"Aw shit," Kendl muttered.

Cesar looked back to see the trio at the doorway as well. "Oh," he uttered. "Here comes the heat."

"Kendl, step out for a moment," Sweet ordered. "I have to talk to Señor Vialpando here."

CJ gave Kendl the "Just do as he says" look, which caused Kendl to comply to Sweet's demand and walk out of the doorway to stand by CJ and Lisa. Kendl watched as Sweet walked into the bedroom to confront Cesar, who then stood up to face Sweet himself.

"Oh no," Kendl whispered. "I can't let this get worse."

Kendl tried to go after Sweet, but CJ promptly held her back.

"Hold up, sis," he whispered. "Let's see how it's gonna go down."

"Seriously, Carl?" Kendl asked. "They're gonna try to kill each other." She then turned to Lisa. "Lisa, are you seriously gonna just watch and let it go down like this?!"

Lisa just stared back nonchalantly. "Sorry, Kendl," she told Kendl. "If I were to step in and tell Sean to accept your fiancé for who he is, he'll just accept it by force, and that's not a good way to let him know how trustworthy your lover is. You don't want your brother to force you to stay away from Cesar. So why should we force Sean to accepting him?"

"She's right, Kendl," CJ added. "That's why it's best to let them do it their way. That way, Sweet can see what a respectable guy Cesar really is and wouldn't be so reluctant to be his in-law. You know how in-laws behave around the spouse their relative dates and marries."

Kendl then sighed in defeat. She knew that if anyone else spoke on her behalf, Sweet will grow to be obnoxious around Cesar instead of respecting him. "Okay," Kendl said, and she crossed her fingers tightly, praying that Sweet and Cesar didn't get physical.

The trio watched as Sweet and Cesar began to speak to each other.

"So I heard you used to be the leader of this Spanish gang called Aztecas or something," Sweet said.

"I still am, holmes," Cesar told him. "My gang's really gone downhill back in El Corona."

"I see," Sweet replied. "So I also heard that Kendl's now living with you up there too, and Carl even told me that you left Los Santos to get her to safety."

"Si, holmes," Cesar replied. "I love your sister more than my own life, and that's the reason why I wanted to help CJ with his business empire at San Fierro to raise enough money to bail you out of jail, because I was dying to meet you to try to know you better."

Sweet then looked hard into Cesar's eyes to see if he was really telling the truth, and after several seconds, Sweet finally said, "Shit, a man that has the balls to take a woman out of the city just to protect her knows how to treat a woman, and that definitely earned my respect for you. You ain't half as bad as I expected. Hell, you're better than some fat fuck I ain't speakin' about. Welcome to the family, Cesar."

Cesar and Sweet then shook hands. "De vuelta a ti, holmes," Cesar told him.

"Sorry, ese," Sweet told him. "I don't speak Spanish."

"Boy, with that ghetto mentality, it's a wonder how you can even speak coherently to begin with," Lisa sneered.

Everyone just laughed at Lisa's sassy remark. "She got you there, holmes," Cesar told Sweet laughing.

"I told you, Ceez," Kendl replied. "She always has that sass."

Sweet just stared back as Lisa as he and Cesar began to leave the room. "You ain't changed a bit, girl," Sweet told Lisa ruffing up her hair.

"She got you good though, Sweet," CJ said laughing.

"Yeah, yeah," Sweet mumbled making a defeated expression.

CJ felt good. Sweet had finally gotten a chance to meet Lisa again after a full year and accepted Cesar as Kendl's lover. The family wasn't back together just yet though. CJ still had to find Ryder and get back at Big Smoke. But CJ felt confident that things were going to go well after all the calamity he's been through in the wake of his return

Hours had elapsed since then, and it was now 5:53 PM. Evening had fallen very early, and everyone was preparing to watch the news on television in the living room. CJ, Sweet, Cesar, Kendl, Lisa, Madd Dogg, The Truth, Paul, and Maccer were all gathered around. CJ walked into the room to find that Paul, Maccer, and The Truth have entered as well.

"Hey, brother Carl," Truth said. "Nice to see you again."

"Salutations, Truth," CJ replied. "Still ain't over that

Maccer then took a look at Lisa and stared at her bust very hard. "Now those are real jugs," he called out.

"Ah, Maccer," Paul groaned palming his face in embarrassment.

Lisa then took notice of the horny Britain, who was just standing two feet away from her. "What are you staring at?" she asked him.

"Must...grope...jugs," Maccer said reaching his hands out and getting closer to her.

"Okay, don't make me sock you back to the UK, you creepy Brit!" Lisa growled shaking her left fist at him.

"Get away from her, you fucking animal!" Paul scolded Maccer pulling him away from her and sitting him back on the floor. "And sit down, ya wanker! You're embarrassing!"

"Hey, be quiet, be quiet," CJ told everyone.

"C'mon you bunch of wankers, this is unbearable!" Maccer cried out as he took a seat on the floor next to Paul.

"Oh, shut up, man!" CJ, Kendl, and Paul told him.

CJ looked around to find a spot to sit in.

"Hey, Carl," Lisa called to him patting the seat of an empty chair adjacent to her. "You can sit here by me."

CJ felt his heart pumping and his face blushing a little. He slowly walked over to the chair and took a seat next to Lisa.

"You feeling okay, Carl?" Lisa asked him calmly.

"Uh, yeah," CJ said. "Yeah, I'm straight, girl."

Lisa rested a hand on CJ's wrist, causing him to get a chill down his spine.

The news had just began, and a reporter was giving away the information.

"Officers Eddie Pulaski and Frank Tenpenny, both hard working members of a community policing unit, have been charged with racketeering, corruption, narcotics, and sexual assault," the news reporter informed over the television.

"They brought it on themselves," Kendl said.

"That bastard cost me my farm," Truth added. "And he hogged the bong."

"...conspired to kill fellow officer Ralph Pendelbury who had threatened to turn state's evidence and who was then found shot dead in a supposedly unrelated gang incident..." the reporter continued.

"I'd say 20 years," Sweet surmised.

"Try 5 years," Cesar added. "Cops always get off easy."

"Yeah, I heard that," Kendl agreed.

"Especially when the cop gets away with harassing a victim just because they're the fucking cops," Lisa added. "Just look what happened to Russell Chief last year. Honestly, the police department is a fucking joke these days!"

"Tell me about it," Kendl agreed. "None of them give a shit!"

" ...retracted witness statements and now the disappearance of fellow officers Jimmy Hernandez, and Officer Pulaski himself, believed to be on the run," the news reporter continued.

CJ hung his head low. He wasn't the slightest bit remorseful of Pulaski's murder since he was a scumbag who deserved it, but he felt bad about Jimmy Hernandez dying due to trying to help stop gang violence in Los Santos.

Rest in peace, Hernandez, CJ thought. I promise you, justice will be served someday.

As the time had passed, everyone inside the mansion continued to listen to the news, expecting Tenpenny to finally get his career revoked and locked up for good, even if it would be temporary, given he was a cop. As long as there was justice served, it really didn't matter to CJ or the others.

"Oh, wait, they're exiting the courtroom now!" the reporter on television informed.

"That bastard Pulaski will probably turn up dead, just like the rest of them!" Kendl shouted nearly jumping out of her seat.

CJ shushed her. "C'mon listen, listen..." he whispered.

Just then, they heard the attorney speak on the behalf. " ...of the lack of evidence against my client, the district attorney's office has seen fit to drop all charges against this innocent man..."

"What?!" Sweet cried out angrily as he stared forward ready to hop out of his seat.

"That's bullshit," Kendl added.

"You see?" The Truth replied. "You can't trust the system, man!"

" ...surprise decision is wholly unprecedented... " the reporter continued.

"Oh man, there just ain't no JUSTICE!" Sweet snapped loudly.

"I know," Maccer said. "I've been arrested numerous times for totally naturally behavior!" Paul just palmed his face while shaking his head in embarrassment.

" ...Los Santos will burn tonight!" the reporter informed

"Ain't nobody gonna be rioting in my hood!" Sweet declared vociferously rising out of his seat.

"I don't know about that holmes," Cesar added jumping out of his seat as well. He pointed outside as everyone else hopped out of their seat to look out the window just in time to catch the riot precipitating down below. "Look. The whole city is going up. People are fucking pissed off about this."

And he was right! Everyone had finally snapped! The city of Los Santos was now replete with a proliferation of pedestrians running around the streets like a family of ants crawling around the kitchen counters. Fire had also suddenly started spreading around certain parts of the town. Everyone was yelling and screaming down below.

"Damn, everyone has really snapped!" Lisa said in a shocking tone of voice. "They're really on the hunt for some fresh police blood!"

"We can all thank C.R.A.S.H. for that bullshit," Kendl said.

"People don't know what they want," CJ told them. "We're all being used."

"You see, man?" The Truth chimed in still sitting on the floor along with Maccer and Paul. "It's always the same, friend. Power systems corrupt everyone."

"Look, I say we go secure the hood," Sweet suggested. "We ain't getting shit together so some idiot can burn it down."

Lisa then stepped up to Sweet and gently shoved him back. "Uhh, Sean," she told him. "I'm not sure if I heard you correctly, but did you say you're actually going down THERE in THAT riot to go BACK to the hood?!"

"I have to, Lisa," Sweet told her. "The Grove is still in my heart."

"Oh, so having a heart for the Grove is worth reverting back to that fucked-up dump you call home," Lisa asked him, "AKA the place that got both your mother and brother killed?! It's bad enough that you ain't letting the hood mentality go for a second, especially after you just got released from the joint days ago, but now you're contemplating going back down that anarchic city to get back to the hood?! You can't be serious, Sean!"

Lisa then frantically turn back to CJ. "Carl," she told him. "Are you really going to let him risk his fate out there?! After he had already did his time months ago?!"

CJ hesitated for a bit. He also wanted to let Sweet know what he was getting himself into. But he knew that it was no talking him out of this

"Look, Lisa," CJ told her. "I don't like to be part of the hood either, and I damn sure ain't gonna throw everything I got since leaving the hood out the window. But I gotta give my bro some time to take care of business."

"And you're actually going with him?!" Lisa cried out in shock.

It was Sweet's turn to step up to Lisa as soon as he saw the worried expression on her face. "We'll be fine, girl," he told her giving her a tight hug. "We just have to check up on the hood, make sure nobody is causing any ruckus there."

Lisa then realized how futile it was to talk Sweet out of it, knowing just how stubborn he really was. So Lisa let out a defeated sigh. "Okay," she said. "But be careful out there – both of you."

"We will, girl," CJ told her giving her a hug. "And we'll find your brother too. He around here somewhere."

"Please do that!" Lisa replied remembering about Ryder.

Kendl placed a hand on Lisa's shoulder. "Hey, it's going to be alright, Lisa," Kendl told her. "I know my brothers, and they have more heart than that. They'll survive."

"I hope so," Lisa said looking back worried as she watched CJ and Sweet leave the room. "And I hope I don't lose a brother either."

"I'm sure they'll fight for the US government to bring the corrupt bastard down!" The Truth chimed in. "After all, there hasn't been this much calamity since aliens had abducted the farm during Woodstock! The past is back, man! The past is back!"

Kendl, Cesar, and Lisa just stared back at him looking rather perplexed as he started jerking his arms around as if to swat away a swarm of bees.

"Honestly, that guy really makes me miss my brother," Lisa said making a very confused face.

"Somehow, I miss Ryder just as much," Kendl added. "He's the sane one compared to this old guy."

Outside the mansion, CJ and Sweet headed towards Sweet's Greenwood.

"Shit's real fucked up, man," CJ told Sweet.

"Yeah, but we gonna handle this ourselves," Sweet declared.

They both hopped inside the vehicle and CJ started the engine right before driving off.

"There ain't no justice, man," Sweet snapped as CJ pulled out of the driveway to enter the road up ahead. "How does scum like Tenpenny stay on the streets?"

"Man, I dunno," CJ muttered as he drove down the road between Muholland and Red County. "Just the way shit stacked I guess."

"Man, this is fucked up," Sweet said. "We should take that bastard down ourselves."

"And we will Sweet," CJ told him.

"And we need to see where that bastard Ryder ran off to," Sweet added. "Seriously, where the hell is he?"

"That's what I'm trying to know, Sweet," CJ said. "That dude was with me during my time in San Fierro. Next thing I know, he disappeared somewhere around here. He'll turn up someday though. He always been known to attempt the impossible."

"I hope so," Sweet said. "So who's the weird Brit back there?"

"What?" CJ asked before he finally knew who Sweet was talking about. "Oh, Maccer! He got a little problem he can't control."

"What kind of problem?" Sweet asked.

"He can't stop, you know, giving himself a little bit," CJ said evasively.

"What, you mean he likes to consult Professor Hans Jerkov?" Sweet replied getting CJ's implication.

"Yeah, regularly," CJ answered.

"Spank the monkey?" Sweet replied once again.

"Yeah!" CJ said.

"Take Palm-ela out?" Sweet asked trying to vex CJ.

"Quit it," CJ said as he made it down the road.

"Burp the worm?" Sweet asked.

"Enough, man," CJ told him grinning.

When CJ finally made it down Market Street and Downtown Los Santos, he took a good hard look at the riot close up. Many of the pedestrians were carjacking other drivers. Some vehicles even caught on fire and eventually exploded. Pedestrians were even seen stabbing others to death repeatedly. There were even elderly women carrying televisions and VCRs.

"Shit, look at this place!" CJ cried. "Even old ladies robbing shit!"

"I guess it's better than staying home and watching the shopping channel!" Sweet declared.

"Yeah, go out there and get yourself a bargain!" CJ replied.

There were even helicopters hovering above the streets, one of them even catching fire and eventually exploding. The victims were even being carried in stretchers to the ambulances and grenades were even being thrown at buildings.

"Shit, man!" CJ said taking a look at the calamity while driving through Glen Park. "People real mad! Tenpenny responsible for ALL of this! As if the ghetto ain't wrecked enough! Come tomorrow, most of Centrals gonna have new TVs."

"Look at them, like angry kids or some shit!" Sweet added. "They just tearing up their own neighborhoods! Nothing good is gonna come of this."

CJ nodded in agreement as he drove through Idlewood. As he finally made it back to Grove Street, he and Sweet took a glimpse at the fires coming out from behind some of the houses.

"Everything's burning!" Sweet shouted. "Put your foot down! Man the ghetto's tearing itself apart!"

CJ finally pulled up in front of Sweet's house, and Sweet hopped out of the vehicle.

"I'm gonna gather up some homies, and get the hood locked down," Sweet told CJ.

"You need anything, you give me a call," CJ told Sweet. "I'm gonna check out the city and see what I can see."

"You be careful out there, CJ," Sweet said, "and keep trying to search for Ryder. There ain't no telling what happened to that nigga through all this riot!"

CJ watched as Sweet entered the house. The sheer mention of Ryder's name caused CJ's heartbeat to skip. Where was Ryder? it's been months since CJ has last seen him. CJ wondered if C.R.A.S.H. and Big Smoke had already held Ryder hostage or actually caught and killed him. CJ quickly shook the feeling out of him. He didn't wanted to ever contemplate such a premonition, especially knowing how Lisa would feel about this.

So he drove back to the city and looked around. The street lights were flickering wildly. Some people were using rocket launchers to take down the hovering chopper up above. There were even the National Guards dispersing around the streets beating down civilians.

Damn, CJ thought. People out here are just crazy!

The fire began spreading all over the neighborhood of Glen Park and Idlewood, and even the ambulances, which were carrying some of the victims in, started to catch fire and explode. Everyone was really determined to sniff out Tenpenny and wouldn't rest until he was captured and done in for good. It seemed as if Tenpenny's evil scheme was working. He had long since wanted the neighborhood to be torn apart due to street violence.

Then another premonition came in CJ's mind. What if Ryder had betrayed him along with Big Smoke later on? What is he was working for Big Smoke and tried to get him and the other Grove Street Families killed? CJ shook the feeling out of him. While Ryder may have been very brusque around him since the wake of his return three months ago, there was no way for CJ to conceive Ryder becoming a traitor. Ryder still loved Grove Street too much, and he wouldn't try to sacrifice Sweet since he was much closer to Sweet.

CJ then felt he seen enough and drove back to Grove Street. He still couldn't believe Officer Tenpenny had gotten away with his sordid activities, and CJ himself was partly responsible after doing his dirty work to terminate all evidence pointed at him. CJ would worry about trying to end the riot once and for all. For right now, he decided to hop out of the vehicle and get some sleep inside his old house.

As CJ entered the house, his heart began to thump hard. He had the premonition that someone was going to throw a grenade at his house or torch it somehow. From how bad the riots were and how he had unwillingly helped Tenpenny destroy all evidence of the corrupt cop's crimes in the past, CJ somehow got the premonition that the city would find out about all of this and hunt him down for helping Tenpenny. He killed all the people Tenpenny hired him to assassinate for nothing, and he had the bad feeling that everyone else was going to come after him and tear him apart as well.

There was also no telling what had happened to Ryder after he checked out of rehab. It has been months since he last seen Ryder, and CJ couldn't reach him via cellphone. CJ prayed that his childhood friend would be okay and would return eventually. Without having any more bad thoughts, CJ decided to head upstairs and go on to bed, preparing himself for tomorrow.
