A/N hello readers! So, I've decided since this chapter was already written up, I'd post it.
Right now, I'm currently still working on the next chapter for W.O.T it's a struggle because I can't find my notes for the next two chapters I had.
So, right now I have to try to write from memory which is turning out to be extremely difficult.
I apologize to the followers of that story. Just please bare with me.
I would like to give a few shout outs to a few reviewers whose reviews helped created this chapter.
Spurboy, onthispath, RachelBarbraBerry, Spawn and finally our new comer asgrony.
Guys your reviews hit home and your constant support means so much.
I especially appreciate the pm's I feel like I'm more acquainted with a few who have pm'd me a little better.
I'm working hard to finish this and sadly it's coming to an end but there is a surprise for the end.
Hopefully, you all will appreciate it.
Once again thank you to all the readers as a whole.
I don't own glee or anything that's associated with it.
Rachel had been falling in and out of sleep for hours.
She still hadn't seen Quinn but refused to fall asleep should Ms. Walker try to flee the hospital with her daughter.
She was exhausted. It was now 10:32 am and she was getting restless.
No one had gotten to see Beth, yet and it was causing Rachel to worry.
Footsteps echoed quietly and Ms. Walker and Rachel sat up right abruptly when Dr. Martin and Michael entered the room.
"Good morning, ladies. I'm sorry for the late results but I do have them." Dr. Martin said with a smile.
"Well?" Ms. Walker asked in irritation.
She had been sitting in that waiting room for hours and was not happy.
She also couldn't wait for the satisfaction of the brunette woman looking ridiculous.
Faking being a parent to someone else's child to buy them time, for what?
She wasn't sure but she didn't appreciate it.
However; she agreed to go along with it as to not have to deal with the stunt later.
Dr. Martin opened the envelope and every one in the room waited with bated breathe.
It was Alison, Alicia, Leo, Tim, Michael, Rachel, Ms. Walker and Dr. Martin.
The Fabray's had decided to stay in Quinn's room for support.
The rest of the group didn't actually get to visit Quinn because the blonde had passed out again.
But they wanted to be there for emotional support anyway.
It was agreed that Quinn should get rest since she was only there for over night observation after her blackout.
Other than Rachel and Ms. Walker every one had gone home the night prior but was back early as a bird that morning.
Though, Jade had come out with a message from Quinn that they didn't need to waste their day on her.
But it fell on deaf ears as every one still wanted to give support and came with flowers and all.
Rachel and Quinn felt so much of the love and appreciated the support beyond words.
"May I?" Michael asked Dr. Martin.
Dr. Martin looked to Rachel and she nodded her consent.
Michael took the envelope and cleared his throat before speaking.
"In the case of six year old Beth Fabray.. Rachel.."
Every one was on the edge of their seats. "You are not the mother!"
Every one gasped in shock and Rachel's stomach bottomed out before her eyes began to well with tears.
"Oh my god.." The brunette whispered in despair her emotions hit high as she felt the knife of betrayal stab her in the heart.
Ms. Walker smirked darkly and opened her mouth to demand Beth released into her custody at once.
"No! Rach, I was just kidding, it's positive! I just love the Maury show and always wanted to say that line!" Michael said in a rush.
Rachel glared at him and before he could say anything else, punched him in the thigh severely hard because it was the closest body part to her.
Every one knows Michael as a usually stoic type and it takes a lot to get him to goof around but this?! Rachel wanted to murder him.
"OW!"
"Out of all the times you could choose to be funny, you pick now?!" Rachel growled.
"Let me see it!" Ms. Walker said immediately snatching the paper from Michael's hands.
She read the paper and turned her eyes to Rachel in a reserved (You were right but I'm not going to apologize) Manner.
"So?" Rachel asked.
"It's positive. Your her mother." The worker replied.
Though you could tell she was practically choking on the truth that she had been wrong.
She begrudgingly handed the paper back to Michael but the paper was snatched in mid pass by Rachel.
Who needed to see it with her own two eyes after that fucked up joke that she's pretty sure she'd never forgive Michael for.
The brunettes eyes scanned the paper before she squealed in happiness.
"YES!" Rachel shouted as relief washed over her.
Every one took turns giving her a congratulatory hug at the fact that she was a new proud mother of a beautiful, intelligent, feisty little blonde.
Alison turned to Ms. Walker with a disclosure agreement as Michael stood by her as legal council.
Rachel turned to Dr. Martin with a huge smile and joyful tears now that it had been confirmed.
Beth.. Her little best friend and second love was hers.
"May I please be taken to see my daughter now?" Rachel asked with such happy emotion at being able to say that with assurance that Dr. Martin smiled in return.
"Of Course you can. Right this way."
"Hold it." Ms. Walker spoke up and Rachel glared at the woman.
"This situation with Ms. Fabray isn't over. There is still a legal matter at hand."
"Yes, I will gladly handle that matter with my lawyer but right now my daughter and fiancé need me. Anything else you have to say or discuss you can take it up with Michael. Who is my and my fiancé's representation along with a few of our other lawyers. But as of this moment I have nothing else to discuss with you."
With that Rachel wheeled back toward Dr. Martin and followed him down the hall.
Rachel was anxious and excited.
"Here we are." Dr. Martin said as he smiled down at the brunette.
"She has only been seen by the nursing staff to make sure she was ok. The officer named Schmidht had asked that she stay at the hospital until they were done questioning and than we did the DNA test. Other than those reason's she's perfectly fine. She was mostly asking for you or Ms. Fabray."
"Thank you. I know it's not policy to allow such a thing but it means so much to us that she was safe. Rather than some stranger's home."
"Your welcome. I have to go but have a good day Ms. Berry. I'll be back up to check on your fiancé in a few."
"Ok, thank you again and have a good day as well."
The two nodded at each other before Dr. Martin made his exit.
Rachel turned to the door and pushed it open slowly should Beth be sleeping.
The brunettes smile widened when she realized Beth was awake and watching cartoons.
"Hey, you." Rachel said in warm happiness.
Beth's head whipped around and her eyes widened. "MAMA!"
The little blonde scrambled off the bed and ran over to her mother.
Rachel's eyes welled with tears as soon as Beth was safely in her arms.
"You came! You came!" Beth said in happiness.
"Of course I came, silly goose. I will always be here for you." Rachel said emotionally she than realized Beth was trembling.
She pulled the little girl back from the embrace to see tears coming down her face.
"Hey, why are you crying?"
"Because.."
"Because?" Rachel prodded gently with such a soft motherly tone.
"Because it's too late. They're going to take me away. Now I have to stay here until they come get me and I didn't get to say goodbye to mommy.." Beth whimpered out.
Rachel's heart broke at the sight of the sadness that once again had found it's way to her daughter.
Couldn't they ever have a day when someone wasn't in tears or hurt?
"No, they are not." Rachel assured.
"Yes, they are.. The lady told me so."
"No, they are not. I already spoke to the lady and there was just a misunderstanding. You are not going anywhere but with me and mommy when we leave here together as a family."
"Really?"
"Really. In fact, I think someone's been just as eager to see you as you are to see them."
"Who?"
"How about I show you." Rachel said with a smile.
Quinn sat in her bed gazing out the far window in silent worry.
She hadn't seen Rachel or heard anything about her daughter.
Her family had assured her that Rachel would take care of everything but Quinn was becoming restless.
Her family had just gone down to the cafeteria for some breakfast about 10 minutes ago.
Leaving her to her radical thoughts and fears.
She was so caught up in her worries that she didn't hear her door open.
"MOMMY!" Beth squealed at the sight of her.
Quinn's head whipped around in surprise and within a millisecond relieved tears sprang to her eyes as a full blown smile took over her face.
Beth scrambled from a teary eyed smiling Rachel's lap and ran to the bed eagerly.
"Oaf!" Quinn grunted as her daughter practically flew into her arms and wrapped her tiny arms in a vice grip around her mothers neck.
"Oh, Bethy.." Quinn whispered her tears falling with no remorse.
She was holding her baby girl again and it was everything.
Rachel wheeled into the room letting the door shut behind her.
She rolled as close to the bed as she could.
She locked the brakes on her wheel chair and began to stand.
Her body was still not at it's best but she wasn't as wobbly anymore.
She just couldn't stand for long periods of time and her steps were still a little small.
She had a cane but it was faster and easier for her to get around in her wheelchair.
She's not a very patient person and the healing process was grating on her nerves.
The brunette braced her hands against the bed for support.
As she took baby steps toward the head of the bed to her two favorite blonde's who had just released each other.
Quinn's smile was blinding as her fiancé approached.
"Hey, beautiful.." Rachel spoke quietly.
Her own emotions over what happened finally hitting her now that she wasn't focused on getting their daughter back.
Quinn was close to being a victim of rape and she had been no where in sight to protect her.
Rachel felt so useless and not worthy of claiming the blonde in front of her.
"I'm so sorry.." The brunette whimpered out.
Her tears fell as the truth hit home.
Quinn's face fell from smiling happy at having her daughter and fiancé with her again to soft worry and concern.
"Hey.." The blonde spoke cupping the brunettes cheek and wiping her tears as soon as she was within touching distance. "What are you sorry for?"
"Because I wasn't there when you needed me.. I'm never there when you need me.." Rachel spoke in disappointed anger and remorseful tears.
Quinn's eyes softened. The blonde scooted over and Rachel took the hint.
She struggled a little to get on the bed but sat facing the blonde.
"You don't have to be sorry."
"But.."
"No buts. Listen, I've been thinking a lot about everything that happened. At first when it happened I couldn't believe that I was a victim once again. Than after a while of feeling sorry for myself it turned to anger than anger turned to hate than finally settled on calm. The reason calm settled in me is because out of all the crazy thoughts in my head. I realized that the word I kept skating by in my head is 'almost' I was almost a victim. Yes, I'm a victim in other ways of harrassment but baby... He didn't actually get to hurt me other than roughing me up. He didn't get any further than that. Because my dad came and stopped it from happening and the only reason he was there to do that was because you sent him to help me move. So, if you hadn't than things wouldn't have ended well for me but because of you indirectly protecting me, I am safe. "
"It still doesn't change the fact that I'm never around when you need me but I get it. I just wish I could be there for you both everyday."
"And you will be. After you settle the score with our biggest problems than bring our baby home so we can really start our lives together as a family." Quinn replied with so much faith that it would happen shining in her eyes that all of Rachel's sadness began to melted away.
"And just think, Rach. We'll be that sickly sweet family that gives people cavities. We'll live out the stereotypes." Quinn said with a smile.
"Head cheerleader for a daughter." Rachel said with quirked eyebrow and smirk as she made a gesture with her head toward Beth.
"Beautiful toddler with it's mother's gorgeous curly locks that people just fawn over." Quinn supplied.
"She'd get into Yale just like her mother." Rachel followed with confident smile.
"He or she would have the voice an angel and be a ambitious performer like their mama."
"She'd snag the spot of valedictorian."
"He or she would be on their way to Nyada wanting to follow in their mama's foot steps."
"She'd marry her college sweetheart."
"He or she would win a ton of Grammy's."
"We'd be old and gray begging for grand babies."
"Oh gag me." Quinn said with a fake gag causing Rachel to giggle. "See, baby. There is so much you'll be around for and so many boyfriends to chase down with a shot gun. You have plenty of years to be protective but right now I'd rather you heal up appropriately. Don't feel bad, we are ok." Quinn assured.
"I'm the one that's suppose to be comforting you, remember?"
"You already have. You brought me back our baby."
"I'm hungry.." Beth spoke up.
"Well, as far as I know mommy will be getting discharged sometime today. I'm just not sure when."
Just than there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." Quinn spoke with a smile in her voice.
Dr. Martin entered with a smile at the family.
"Some one looks a lot happier today. How are you Ms. Fabray?"
"Absolutely amazing. How about you?"
"I'm well thank you. So, you seem to be well enough to be released however you are under strict instructions to take it easy. The amount stress that you have been under is the cause of your black out. So, I'd like to set you up with a follow up appointment with your primary care physchian to be sure that you aren't suffering any thing greater than that."
"So, we can leave? As in my daughter and I?"
"As I've explained to Ms. Berry there wasn't anything wrong with your daughter but under the influence of a officer Schmidt your daughter was held here more out of safety."
Quinn took a relieved breathe.
"The nurse will be in shortly with your discharge papers."
"Thank you Dr. Martin. " Quinn and Rachel said simultaneously.
"Your welcome. It was a pleasure meeting you as well Ms. Beth."
"Nice to meet you." Beth replied in kind.
The doctor nodded with a wave.
Rachel turned to her family with a smile. "Whose ready to go home?"
Quinn's eyes shined at the words and Beth clapped happily.
After Quinn received her discharge papers and every one in the waiting got to see and welcome her with warm support and greetings.
All of the Fabray's with Alicia and Leo piled into the limo with Tim at the wheel with the exception of Rachel.
The brunette assured Quinn she'd meet them at the penthouse but she had one more thing to take care of first.
Quinn was hesitant but ultimately agreed with Rachel's promise of a safe return.
Rachel left with Michael and Alison.
They were headed straight to the precinct.
Rachel stood waiting in the car until Schmidt walked out with a smile.
"Hey, how are they?" He asked referring to Beth and Quinn.
"They're safe and doing a lot better than most would in their situation." Rachel replied.
"That's good to hear."
"What's the bail amount?"
"Well, since it's his 2nd charge of assault depending on what a judge says he could face a felony charge or a misdemeanor. The bail is at four thousand two hundred but he has to stay in New York for the upcoming court dates and might get slapped with probation if he manages to get a misdemeanor. Other than that he should be fine." Schmidt assured.
"Thank god and Mr. Turner?" Rachel asked.
"After showing the evidence of the video break ins and the fact that I got an anonymous tip (he said using air quotes referring to Sabastian Smythe) that Ms. Fabray was a target of harassment and got to follow the perp myself has him looking really bad right now. Point blank, his career is over. Once everything is out in the open in the court room. No judge will sympathize with him. I'm also working on getting some former victims with the help of your guy Sebastian. If all goes well, Turner's going away for a long time." Schmidt said with a more than positive smile of that being the truth.
"Is it wrong that I feel like today is the best day ever?" Rachel said with a shit eating grin full to the brim with smug satisfaction.
"No, in fact I think it's a beautiful day." Schmidt responded. Rachel giggled.
"Ok, so Michael will be heading in to bail him out. Alison needs you to sign the disclosure agreement along with every officer in the building. I'll be here waiting in the car. I don't want to be seen. My presence alone would cause a major issue and possibly cause a problem with my other plans."
"You got it." Schmidt said with a smile.
Alison and Michael exited the car.
Rachel sat back and smiled as she finally was getting closer to achieving her goal of removing every disgusting parasite from their lives.
After Mr. Turner was taken care of. She'd than take down the last 3 remaining problems in her life.
Russell Fabray was laid out in his cell with a smile.
He knew people would think he was crazy at being completely happy to go to jail.
They just didn't understand.
He had once had the perfect life.
The perfect family but he ruined that by his greed, Selfishness and ultimate reckless behavior.
He had never thought he'd get the chance to even see his youngest daughter ever again let alone speak to her.
So, the fact that she had given him not only the chance to apologize but also has been slowly trying to regain their relationship and trust.
Meant more to him than the breathe in his lungs.
When he had driven up to her apartment after being picked up by officer Schmidt at the airport, with a bouquet of flowers in hand to surprise her with a helping hand toward her new life.
He did not expect to see his granddaughter whom he still hadn't personally met but looked every bit like his Qunnie when she was that age with a woman who was not Rachel.
Her little face red as she screamed for her mother while she thrashed in tears burned a fire of protectiveness in him instantly.
Office Schmidt seemed to be thinking the same thing.
The two men stopped the woman in her tracks.
Russell thanked all that is holy that Schmidt was still in uniform.
Only because he had just gotten off work before picking Russell up.
It stopped the woman who had explained that the principal to the girls school had called and was currently helping in removing the child, do to the mother's wild temper.
Schmidt had only had to give him a look before he was running into the building.
Just as he entered the entrance door that led to the stair case that traveled to his daughter's apartment.
He heard her unmistakable scream.
His body shook with anger as he ran up those stairs like a cheetah would run after it's prey.
When he barged into the apartment to see a man on top of his youngest daughter with his hand over her mouth fighting to get himself from his open pants.
Russell had saw nothing but red.
He didn't think of anything other than killing the man.
He had grabbed him by the back of his collar and waist line of his pants than ripped him from above his daughter, throwing him like a rag doll.
Everything happened so fast after that.
He knew the man hit him but he couldn't feel anything.
He was in a fit of rage.
It wasn't until Quinn's frantic pleas of 'You'll kill him!' reached his ears did he let go but she hadn't he would have killed him, he knows it.
He also knows that he would still be smiling in calm satisfaction while they sentenced him to life in prison because he saved his little girl from almost becoming a victim of brutal rape.
"Fabray! You made bail. Let's go." Officer Schmidt said with a smile.
"What? How?"
"Your daughter in law is waiting for you and so is the rest of your family but their at home. I wouldn't question it." Schmidt said with a smirk.
Russell stood up in disbelief that someone actually came for him.
He was escorted out by officer Schmidt through a series of back doors before the chilly winter air hit him hard.
"Have a great day, Fabray. Say hi to your daughter for me." Schmidt said as he pointing to the car Rachel, Michael and Alison were waiting in.
"I will. Thank you."
"Your welcome."
Russell walked to the car and the door opened allowing him to slide in.
He took in the brunette next to him with tears in her eyes before he was engulfed in a hug.
"Thank you.." She whimpered out.
Russell shut his eyes as he returned the hug understanding immediately what she was referring to.
"I should be thanking you. If you hadn't flown me here, I would have never been able to stop him."
"Still, thank you.. I can't express what exactly I feel but thank you."
"Your welcome."
The two released each other.
The car began pulling away.
"Where are we going?"
"We're going to see our family." Rachel replied with a smile.
Quinn sat in her new apartment with Beth and the rest of the group.
They had decided it would be best to order take out.
Quinn knew she should be feeling so much more than what she was currently feeling, considering what almost happen.
But again her experience with Thomas had either severely numbed her to abuse or had made her stronger than she realized.
Either way, she was just happy to have her daughter back in her arms and her family and friends surrounding her.
All she needed now was Rachel and her dad.
She didn't care about anything else other than the fact that every one was together.
She just wanted everything to be done and over with so she and Rachel and their children can finally live peacefully.
After careful thought she realized in a twisted way, that she should be grateful that Turner did what he did because now she didn't have to live in fear.
Now he had been arrested and now the process of eliminating him from their lives was in progress.
She decided that she would focus more on that fact than the actual assault which brings her back to now and the smile on her face.
The feeling of the burden of Mr. Turner's possible back lash was completely removed from her shoulders.
The phone that the front desk uses to call up to the apartments to let the homeowner know that they had a guest, rung.
"Hello?"
"Ms. Fabray, this is Malcom. You have a visitor by the name of Rachel Berry, Alison Waters, Michael Dean and a Russell Fabray here to see you."
At the list of names Quinn smile exploded.
"Please, let them up." Quinn spoke urgently.
The blonde rushed out to hall where only one other door was and it was the elevator door for her floor.
Each floor only had one apartment on it.
The blonde waited anxiously but she didn't have to wait long as the elevator dinged and the double doors slid open.
Alison and Michael exited first.
The blonde hugged them briefly before they walked off giving the trio privacy. Rachel was next.
The blonde pulled her into a hug and a chaste kiss that they both wanted to deepened but didn't want an audience for.
"I'll be inside." Rachel said after pulling back from the embrace.
She smiled at her fiancé and wheeled off toward the door.
The last one standing there awkwardly was Russell.
Quinn gazed at him in such a way that made him feel like he was under a microscope.
He couldn't read his daughter the way he used to.
If he could, he'd see that she was staring at him as if he were a shooting star or some other magnificent thing or person.
Like he lassoed the moon just for her. Like he was her protector.. She looked at him like she use to when she was a child.. Like he was her hero.. Her daddy..
"Lucy, I.. I know I was not given an invitation by you personally to be here. I'm sorry I'll go now but I'm happy to see that you are.." Before he could say anything else he had his arms full of his youngest sobbing daughter.
"I love you, daddy.." Quinn whimpered out.
Russell's arms wrapped around her like they had when she was just a small child.
His tears came with no shame.
It didn't help with getting his tears and emotions under control when she called him daddy.
She will always be his little princess. His little lady.
Quinn had no idea how her absence destroyed him.
How fear of never seeing her again or meeting his grand child killed him.
Even after he managed to gain a tentative friendship with his wife and almost regaining a better relationship with his oldest.
Quinn was always on his mind.
He prayed every night to one day find her.
He promised to be a better father to his daughter if she let him and be the best damn grandfather he could to his grand child if given the chance.
The two pulled from the embrace and gazed into each other's eyes with so much love and forgiveness radiating from them.
"You are always welcome in our home, dad. In fact, I'd really like to properly introduce you to your grand daughter. I know at Christmas you kept your distance in the house purposely and I appreciate that but.. I think it's time she met her amazing, strong grandfather who will protect her." Quinn said as she did her best to quell her tears.
Russell wasn't fairing any better.
"I always will, you know.. I promise you that. As long as I am able, I will protect all the women that I have been blessed with in this family." Russell replied so sincerely Quinn felt it in her heart.
Russell had always wanted a son but god had other plans for him.
He was blessed with two girls just as important as boys.
He being the only man in the house didn't make it any less of a blessing.
Especially, when his two daughter's turned out to be such strong minded, independent young women.
He had a strong minded, independent ex wife to thank for that.
"I'm very happy to hear it. Are you ready to meet your granddaughter?"
"More than, I've been anxiously waiting." Russell admitted.
"Come than, we're ordering out."
"You don't cook anymore?" Russell asked as Quinn looped her arm in his bulging bicep as they walked toward the apartment door.
"Of course, I do."
"Well, you be sure to give me a call when you do. I miss your cooking. I haven't had your mother's cooking either just imagine the years of withdrawls." Quinn giggled at his antics.
"I don't know what I'm going to do with you."
"Feed me."
Quinn burst into laughter as they entered the apartment.
Once the two entered the apartment.
All eyes fell on them and before a word could be spoken.
Frannie walked over to her father, gazed into his eyes for a moment in silence than engulfed him in a hug.
Grandma Beth stood right behind them as Frannie gave her father a kiss to the cheek as the two embraced.
Frannie released him than grandma Beth pulled him down to her small height and hugged him as she rubbed his back and told him 'It was good to know that he was still her Balboa'.
That being her nick name for to him when he was a teenager.
After he knocked a filthy mouth heathen who grabbed Judy's behind when they were in high school without her consent.
Grandma Beth cracked that he was a real rocky Balboa and the name stuck.
Finally after releasing him and stepping aside.
Judy stepped forward with glassy eyes.
Russell felt his heart stop, stutter than start again.
His palms became clammy and he felt completely lost as to what to do with himself.
Judy was still as stunning as she had always been.
He felt like he looked a mess though she's already seen him countless times.
Yes, they were friends now but they never had real physical contact.
He just came and changed light bulbs for her and fixed things around her house here and there.
They went on a few friendly lunches but that was it.
He felt himself self consciously want to pull his shoulder length hair into maybe a man bun or brush it or something.
He knew his beard was not appealing because Judy never liked beards to begin with.
He wished he had an opportunity to change because tiny spots here and there of Turner's blood were visible on his shirt and his jeans were old and tattered along with his boots.
He hadn't showered since the morning that he took his flight from Ohio to New York.
He felt so self conscious around this woman that he always ended up rambling and stuttering like a fool around her.
"Uh.. Judy I.." Russell started only for Judy to step into his personal space.
Her perfume invading his sensing and causing all kinds of misfires to happen at once within him.
Judy cupped his cheek and his eyes shut at the touch.
It was a simple touch but it was the first time he has felt her touch in six years and he couldn't stop the tears even he wanted to.
He missed her.
God! Did he miss her..
"Open your eyes.." Judy whispered.
Russell opened his tearful eyes and met Judy's tearful gaze.
She smiled at him and he felt his stomach flip.
"Thank you.." Judy whispered before hesitantly stepping into him and wrapping her arms around his broad wide shoulders, sliding across his neck and hugging him for the first time in so long.
Jade, Grandma Beth, Quinn and Rachel were in tears at the moment.
Every one else had gone to the terrace to give the family privacy when he first entered.
Judy felt so many things when Russell's strong arms slid around her waist.
She felt so many past emotions.
So many nights when she was in her bed crying over her lost family, that she wished not only for Quinn to be home and safe but for her husbands arms to be around her.
This man, this amazing, gentle, strong, god fearing man was the only man who ever and will ever have her heart.
His smile. His laugh.
His eyes twinkling with mirth.
His smug smirks and terrible jokes.
His bashful smile when she'd call him handsome.
His scent that just made him, him.
The love that always shined in his eyes when he smiled that smile that was only reserved for her, aimed at her.
The way he kissed her so thoroughly that no amount of years could ever stop her toes from curling.
The way he made such passionate love to her.
Everything he did for her was always done with passion.
Their love was unlike anything she'd ever experienced and she missed it.
She missed him.
The two pulled away and Russell ducked his head bashfully causing Judy to smirk that smirk that Quinn inheritated from her.
The smirk that was always smug and teasing when ever she would resort the big shot Russell Fabray to a bumbling mess of shyness.
They were so caught up in each other that they hadn't noticed the knowing smiles on all the other women's faces.
"Mommy! Mama!" Beth called as she ran at full speed toward Quinn and Rachel breaking the spell that had fallen over the two Fabray's.
Russell's eyes shined at the sight of his granddaughter.
Quinn intercepted Beth's approach to Rachel and lifted her into her arms.
"Hey, sweetie. I want you to meet some one very important to me." Quinn said with a smile and watery eyes.
"Ok."
Quinn walked to her mother and father.
"Beth, honey, I'd like you to meet my dad." Quinn said with a smile.
Beth looked at the towering man with wide awestruck eyes.
She hadn't noticed him when she was being taken away because she was in a fit of tears.
"Hello.." Russell spoke in a soft gentle tone full of emotion as his eyes shined and his tears fell at finally being able to meet his grand daughter.
"Why are you crying?" Beth asked.
"Well, because Honey, I've waited so long to me you and I am just so grateful to your mommies that I can." Russell answered honestly.
"Does this mean I can tell people I have a grandpa now?" Beth asked Quinn.
"Yes."
"Can I call him grandpa?"
"Why don't you ask him."
"Can I.. Can I call you grandpa?"
"Yes."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Can I hug you now?"
"Please do!" Russell said with a cheerful disbelieving chuckle.
Quinn handed Beth over and when he hugged her he lost it with his tears.
They came with no remorse and couldn't care less because he was holding his grand daughter.
Every one was in tears at the sight.
It had been a long time coming and an opportunity that would never have come if Rachel hadn't found her way back into Quinn's life.
That's all Quinn could think as her gaze turned from her father and daughter to her fiancé.
Quinn still had her date to meet with Hiram, Leroy and Shelby.
It was coming up and she prayed that Rachel would get to have her own reunion and not go through any more heartbreak.
Quinn bent down and cupped Rachel's cheek before promptly pulling her into a kiss.
The kiss leaving Rachel breathless.
"Not that I'm complaining but what was that for?"
"Just because I love you.. So much."
"I love you, too."
The two gazed into each other eyes with complete adoration.
Neither of them knew the shit that was about to hit the fan for Rachel in a way that only Quinn could pull her out of.
The truths that had tortured Rachel at night for years.
