Ash's Pokemon Journey
Summary: This story is about how I think that ash's journey should have gone through, Kanto, Orange Islands, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova. Smart, a psychic and an Aura user. I do not own pokemon.
Note: I am not doing the Kalos Region. So fairy pokemon and Mega Evolutions don't exist.

Paul vs Brandon
The Snowpoint Temple
And Ash and Anabel's date
Paul had come to Snowpoint City to challenge the Snowpoint Gym. But as Candice has just challenged Ash she asked Paul if they could have the gym battle tomorrow. Paul agreed and walked away. Ash didn't bother talking to Paul this time because he knew he would get a rude reply back. "I reckon Paul's here for the seventh gym badge" said Ash. "Oh you know that trainer Ash?" asked Candice. "Yes his name is Paul and he's my rival," said Ash "although he's not a friendly one". "Oh" said Candice.
That night Dawn and Brock were telling Zoey all about Paul; his rude attitudes, his abusive ways of training and about how Ash's Chimchar used to belong to Paul. "Wow this Paul is definitely the opposite of Ash" said Zoey. "Yes and because of that Ash always ends up having an argument or fight with Paul whenever they meet" said Brock. "I understand" said Zoey. "Say where is Ash anyway?" asked Dawn. "Oh he and Tomo went outside for a bit," said Brock "I think they said Growlithe had found something outside". "I wonder what that could be?" said Dawn.
The something Growlithe found turned out to be another one of the weird plates. This one was an white-blue coloured one. "How many of these plates have we found Ash?" asked Tomo. Ash had a think. "Truthfully I have 15 of these plates now," answered Ash "and goodness knows how many more there are now". Suddenly there was a roaring noise. "What was that?" said Tomo. "That's probably Paul training for the gym battle tomorrow" said Ash. Ash picked up the plate and he and Tomo went to see what the commotion was about.
Ash was right because Paul was training his Magmar and Electabuzz for his gym battle tomorrow. Electabuzz and Magmar were firing attacks at each other. "See I told you" said Ash. Just then Paul noticed Ash and Paul. "What do you want?" he asked them. "We only wanted to know what was going on after hearing your pokemon," said Ash "and now we know what's happening we'll go now". Paul said nothing and Ash and Tomo just walked away to the pokemon center.
As Ash and Tomo walked into the Pokemon center, they met up with Zoey and the others. "I take it Paul is training his Pokemon for the gym battle against Candice tomorrow?" said Brock. "He is, and that's why Tomo and I decided to just walk away before we hear anymore rudeness from Paul" said Ash. "Rudeness?" said Zoey. Dawn explained about Paul's rude and abusive personality. Zoey wasn't happy to hear that. "I hope Miss Senior mops the floor with that guy" she said, crossly.
The next day Paul was about to head over to the gym, but then a car parked outside the pokemon center. It was his brother Reggie. Reggie had come to Snowpoint City to give Paul one of his pokemon and to watch his gym battle. The gang noticed Reggie once they stepped out the pokemon center and greeted him. Reggie greeted the gang back. Dawn explained to Zoey that Reggie was Paul's older brother. Zoey found that hard to believe as Reggie was so polite while Paul was so rude.
Suddenly there was a shaking noise and a shadow went over everyone. Then everyone saw a big pyramid flying in the sky. "Hey it's the battle pyramid" said Ash, recognizing it at once. "You know about that thing?" Reggie asked Ash. "Yes I battled it three times before I came here to Sinnoh and I defeated it on the third time" answered Ash. "What you beat it?" said Paul, in disbelieve. "Yes" said Ash.
Brandon was driving the battle pyramid when Samuel told him there was a phone call from the Snowpoint Pokemon center. The call was from Ash. "Hi Brandon long time no see" said Ash. "Well I be, how are you kid?" said Brandon. Brandon was surprised and happy to see Ash again. While they had a talk with each other, Brandon landed the Battle Pyramid to an area outside the city. Obviously Ash wanted to see Brandon again so, after he finished talking to Brandon on the phone, he and the others decided to go see him. Reggie and Paul wanted to see Brandon too, so Reggie gave the gang and Zoey a lift in his car.
Along the way Ash, Tomo and Brock all about the Battle frontier Ash challenged in Kanto, all about the frontier brains and the frontier symbols. "Brandon was the hardest to beat because he owns three legendary Pokemon; Regirock, Registeel and Regice," said Ash "and that's why it took me three times to win the last frontier symbol". "I see" said Dawn. "I was given the opportunity to become a frontier brain after that," said Ash "but I asked for it to be put on hold until further notice. Because I wanted to continue my pokemon journey and of course travel through this region. So I will be a frontier brain in the future when I want to be". "I understand" said Dawn, knowing Ash's feelings by now. Just then Brock suddenly remembered all of Reggie's gym badges back at Reggie's house in Veilstone City. "Reggie I remember seeing your six frontier symbols" said Brock. "Yes, but I was never able to earn my final frontier symbol" said Reggie. "Didn't you try again to beat Brandon?" asked Ash. "No because after I lost against Brandon I realised that I still had a lot to learn about pokemon, so I stopped battling after that" said Reggie. "I remember seeing the Kanto frontier symbols, but I didn't see the Sinnoh frontier symbols" said Brock. "That's because I didn't decide to challenge the Sinnoh battle frontier after my lost to Brandon" said Reggie.
Soon everyone arrived to where the Battle Pyramid landed. Brandon and Samuel were standing outside. Reggie and the gang ran over to Brandon right away. "Brandon I'm surprised to see you here in Sinnoh," said Ash "are you by any chance here because of the legendary pokemon Regigigas?" "Oh you know about that pokemon young man?" asked Brandon. "Yes we met one before" answered Brock. "Why am I not surprised you kids would beat me first?" said Brandon "Oh by the way Ash and Brock there are two other frontier brains who wanted to come with me here to Sinnoh". To Ash and Brock's surprise Anabel and Lucy stepped out of the Battle Pyramid. "Anabel" said Ash. "Lucy" said Brock. The two boys ran over to Anabel and Lucy and hugged them. "I can't believe you two are here" Ash said to the women. "We heard Brandon was going to come here for research, so we asked him if we could come with him" said Anabel. "Well it's great to see you two again" said Brock. Pikachu was happy to see Espeon again.
Dawn and Zoey noticed Ash and Brock hugging the two girls. "Those two are Anabel and Lucy;" said Tomo "they are battle frontier brains like Brandon is. And Anabel is Ash's girlfriend and Lucy is Brock's girlfriend". "Oh so that's them" said Dawn, remembering the boys telling her about Anabel and Lucy before. "That's certainly a surprise" said Reggie. Paul wasn't interested in the romantic site and he walked over to Brandon. "I wish to challenge you to a pokemon battle right here and now" he said. Brandon was surprised to hear that and so was everyone else.
Just then Candice turned up, riding on a Dodrio; she had seen the Battle Pyramid flying in the sky and she wanted to check it out. Brandon introduced himself to Candice and Candice introduced herself to Brandon. Another visitor turned up at the temple; a lady dressed in priestess clothing stepped out of a car. "Why hello Maria" said Brandon. "It is an honour to have you here Pyramid King" said Maria. Maria was a guardian of a building called the Snowpoint Temple. The Snowpoint Temple was an ancient temple that stood in the mountains of Snowpoint City. "I came here to Sinnoh to investigate the Snowpoint Temple because it is connected to the legendary pokemon Regigigas" said Brandon. "I thought so" said Ash. Brandon told Samuel to go with Maria to the Snowpoint Temple for now; Brandon accepted Paul's challenge. "But Paul why do you want to challenge Brandon now?" asked Reggie. "Because I want to do what you couldn't and that's that" said Paul. What he meant was he wanted to defeat Brandon what Reggie failed to do. Ash asked Brandon if he and the others could watch the match, and Brandon agreed.
Inside the pyramid Brandon and Paul took their places on the battlefield while Reggie, Zoey, Candice, Lucy, Anabel and the gang took their places in the seats. Brock volunteered to be the referee, but Paul declined the offer. Paul made the rules of the match being a full battle and substitutions were allowed. Ash understood at Paul wanted to beat Brandon for Reggie's sake, but he also knew that Paul won't win the battle because he doesn't have the mind and heart to be one with his pokemon.
Paul sent out his Magmar first to battle, while Brandon sent out Regirock first. Before the battle started Reggie revealed to everyone that Paul watched his battle with Brandon. At the time Reggie battled Brandon; Paul had just started his pokemon journey and was traveling through Sinnoh. But he went to Kanto to watch Reggie battle Brandon for his final battle frontier symbol. No matter how hard Reggie and his pokemon battled, Brandon's Regirock defeated all of Reggie's pokemon. Regirock didn't even get a single scratch during the battle. After the battle Brandon said despite he enjoyed the battle, he didn't feel Reggie's true inner strength and battling style. Hearing Brandon's words made Paul wonder about his battling style and inner strength. "So the reason for Paul being so obsessed with power is because what happened to Reggie" said Brock, when the story was finished. "I do understand how Paul is feeling," said Ash "but I'm afraid he is not going to win this battle, mark my words".
Paul suddenly returned Magmar and called out a Hariyama next. Hariyama was a new member of Paul's team. "Paul must have switched his pokemon because of the disadvantage Magmar has against Regirock" said Brock. "Yes but even using a pokemon with the advantage doesn't help much;" said Ash "remember Brock I used my Gyarados against Regirock and Regirock still won the battle". "You're right" said Brock. He did remember that battle.
Brandon started the battle by telling Regirock to use stone edge. "Quick block it" ordered Paul. Hariyama used it hands to black the stones. To Paul, Regirock using a rock move against Hariyama, this felt like he was being tested. "Arm thrust" ordered Paul. Regirock got hit by the arm thrust, but of course it didn't do much. Just then Regirock grabbed Hariyama and held it tight. "Use shock wave" said Brandon. Regirock shocked Hariyama good. "Paul has underestimated Brandon" said Anabel. Lucy agreed. Paul ordered Hariyama to use form palm, but Regirock dodged the attacked and punched Hariyama with focus punch. Hariyama was knocked out cold from that; Brandon had won the first match. "Regirock is stronger than before" said Ash. "You're right Ash" agreed Brock.
Paul returned his Hariyama and sent out his Electabuzz next. "Electabuzz has a disadvantage against Regirock," said Anabel "so why did he send out that pokemon?" "I know why;" said Ash "Electabuzz knows brick break so Paul is going to use that". Ash was right because Electabuzz attacked Regirock with brick break. The attack did cause a direct hit but it still wasn't enough to beat Regirock. "Use stone edge" Brandon said to Regirock. Regirock fired stones towards Electabuzz. Paul told Electabuzz to use protect, but the stones brock the protective shield and hit Electabuzz. "Paul's going to lose again" said Tomo. He was right because Regirock used hyper beam and Electabuzz was defeated. Ash shook his head in sympathy; with how Regirock took out Electabuzz without even trying, Ash knew that Paul was in a very difficult time.
Paul returned Electabuzz and Brandon returned Regirock. The reason why he did that was to let Regirock rest after using hyper beam. Brandon sent out Registeel next. Knowing Registeel was a steel type, Paul sent out his Magmar to battle. "Fire types have an advantage against steel types" said Zoey. "It's not going to be enough though;" said Ash "I used a fire type when I battles Registeel before and I still lost". Paul ordered Magmar to use flamethrower. Registeel got a direct hit by it, but of course it didn't do a lot of damage. "Registeel has grown stronger than before" said Ash. "Use iron head" Brandon said to Registeel. Registeel charged towards Magmar with iron head. "Block it and use will o wisp" said Paul. Unfortunately for Paul Magmar was thrown back by Registeel and became flinched, so it couldn't use will o wisp. Paul returned Magmar and sent out a Nidoking to battle. Nidoking was another newest member to Paul's team. "Hey poison type moves don't work on steel type pokemon" said Dawn, knowing Nidoking was a poison type pokemon. "Yes but Nidoking is also a ground type and ground types are a huge advantage against steel types" said Zoey. Brandon started off by telling Registeel to use flash cannon. Nidoking got hit, but he wasn't beaten yet. "Use earth power" Paul said to Nidoking. Nidoking shook the battleground with earth power and Registeel got hit by the attack. "Use double kick" said Paul. Nidoking kicked Registeel good, but Registeel still stood. "Now thunderbolt" said Paul. "Use iron head" said Brandon. Registeel charged with iron head, despite being hit with thunderbolt, and Nidoking was hit directly. Nidoking was defeated. "Paul isn't doing well here is he big brother?" said Tomo. "No he isn't" said Ash.
Brandon wasn't exactly enjoying the battle because he was beating Paul's pokemon so easily. "What's wrong?" he asked Paul "here I thought you wanted to beat the man who defeated your brother". Paul returned Nidoking; he was getting angry. "It's because you defeated Reggie that my victory over you will have meaning," he said "the challenge you always present to trainers to find their own strength was something my brother wasn't able to do. But I am not like my brother! My will gives me strength and now you'll see it first-hand!" "No you are all wrapped up in the past," said Brandon "and why do you walk down the pokemon trainer path in the first place? Tell me why do you battle?" Paul didn't answer Brandon's questions and sent out a Lairon in anger. Lairon was another new pokemon of Paul's. "Ash I sense a lot of anger coming from Paul" said Anabel. "So do I;" said Ash "his anger is going to cost him this match". Reggie just continued watching Paul.
Brandon returned Registeel and sent out Regice to battle. Paul ordered Lairon to use iron defence to raise its defence. It didn't do any good for Lairon though because first it got frozen by Regice's ice beam attack. Then Regice fired a zap cannon attack which hit Lairon and Lairon was defeated at once. Paul wasn't doing well at all. He returned Lairon and sent out his Ursaring next. "Use hammer arm!" commanded Paul. "Focus punch!" Brandon commanded Regice. The two pokemon collided with their punches. "Now focus blast!" Paul commanded to Ursaring. While Ursaring was preparing to fir a focus blast attack, Regice fired a zap cannon attack. The attack hit Ursaring, preventing it from using focus blast and Ursaring also became paralyzed.
Brandon returned Regice and sent out Regirock again. Regirock used stone edge which hit Ursaring at once. Poor Ursaring was defeated at once. What had happened really was Paul had given up on Ursaring because of its paralysis and didn't give it any orders at all. Paul returned Regirock and sent out Magmar again. "That's Paul's final pokemon" said Dawn. "Not only is it a bad match up, Regirock is just too powerful" said Candice. "Paul wasn't ready for a battle against Brandon, it's all over for him" said Lucy. Lucy and Anabel knew how strong Brandon and his legendary pokemon were. Paul had Magmar attack Regirock with flamethrower, which of course didn't do much. Brandon ordered Regirock to use shock wave. The shock wave attack hit Magmar pretty quickly and Magmar was defeated at once. Paul lost the battle.
"I told you Paul would lose" said Ash. Paul returned Magmar. "Young man," called out Brandon "was this battle your true battle? You have done a great job of raising and training your pokemon, but you allowed your emotions to get the better of you on the battle field. We will battle again one day once you have learned to control your emotions". Paul, who listened to Brandon's words, bowed to Brandon in respect and thanked him for the battle.
After the battle was over everyone exited the battle pyramid. Paul reminded Candice of his wish to battle her at the Snowpoint Gym. "I look forward to it Paul" said Candice. Right now Candice wanted to have a pokemon battle with Zoey for old times' sake. She released her Dodrio to take her and Zoey back to the Snowpoint Gym. She wished Ash and Dawn luck in their next pokemon contests, and then she and Zoey said goodbye to everyone and they left on Dodrio. Paul was just about to leave himself, but then Reggie stopped him. "Hey Paul," he said "do you think there's a chance you and Ash could treat us to a full battle at some point?" "I beg your pardon?" Ash to Reggie. "An interesting idea," said Brandon "let's set the time and place and agree to meet again. That will be a battle guaranteed to raise the level of both of you no doubt". Ash turned to Paul while Paul turned to Ash. "What do you think?" asked Ash. "We do it" said Paul. The two boys agreed to having a full time pokemon battle. Reggie declared the battle will take place in ten days at the pokemon center at Lake Acuity. The boys agreed to that too. Paul and Reggie left in Reggie's car to go back to the pokemon center in the city to get Paul's pokemon checked out.
So after having losing to Brandon in the Battle Pyramid, Paul had another challenge to look forward to and that was with Ash. Before anyone could do anything else Samuel and Maria turned up in a car. Something was going on.
Maria and Samuel told Brandon that there was trouble at the Snowpoint Temple because a group of strange people had sealed it off. Brandon decided to head over there in the Battle Pyramid right away. Anabel, Lucy and the gang asked Brandon to take them with him and Brandon agreed. It wasn't long till the Battle Pyramid was flying in the sky.
"Brandon did you tell us before that Regigigas was connected to the Snowpoint Temple?" asked Ash. "That is correct young man" answered Brandon. Maria told the gang a story about Regigigas that took place a very, very long time ago. A volcano erupted and the lava threatened to destroy all of Snowpoint City. But Regigigas and the other legendary golems Regirock, Registeel and Regice stopped the lava with their powers and saved Snowpoint City. After saving the city Regigigas went into a deep slumber within the Snowpoint Temple. Regirock, Registeel and Regice became the temple protectors, transforming into guardian pillars.
"So this means whoever is at the temple is after Regigigas," said Ash, when the story finished, "and I bet it's Hunter J and her henchman". "Who is Hunter J?" asked Maria. "She's an evil woman who steals pokemon and sells them on the black market," answered Ash "she's also very dangerous because she does anything, including hurt pokemon and people, to get what she wants". Maria became worried after hearing that. "Good thing I brought my pokemon with me then" said Anabel. Lucy brought some of her pokemon too and they agreed to help fight J. "We need to be careful once we battle her," warned Brock "there's no telling what she'll do".
As the battle pyramid was getting close to the temple, J's men noticed it right away. One of them reported it to J. J knew about Brandon the pyramid king and knew this could be trouble. She told her men to take care of it. The men sent out dozens of Skarmory and Metang to attack the battle pyramid. The Skarmorys used flash cannon and the Metangs used sludge bomb. The attacks hit one of the engines on the pyramid and the pyramid couldn't keep on flying. "Hang on!" shouted Brandon. He had to land the battle pyramid at once. The battle pyramid landed in the forest. "Is everyone okay?" asked Brandon. Everyone was okay. "We need to get to the temple fast" said Ash. Brandon told Samuel to stay and repair the engines.
Brandon had a small airship for him and everyone else to get to the temple. The men noticed and got the Skarmorys and Metangs to attack again. "Not this time" said Ash. Pikachu attacked with thunderbolt, Growlithe attacked with flamethrower, Piplup attacked with bubblebeam and Espeon attacked with swift. The attacks distracted the men and pokemon enough for Brandon, Maria and the group to get into the temple.
Hunter J was inside the temple and she had made to the spot where the sphere of Regigigas lay. There were three small pillars standing next to the sphere. One was made of rock, the second made of steel and the third made of ice. They were the remains of the three legendary golems that helped Regigigas a very long time ago. "I need to destroy these pillars to get Regigigas" J said to herself. She released her Salamence and ordered it to destroy the pillars with hyper beam. Salamence destroyed the rock and ice pillar and was just about to destroy the steel pillar, when it was suddenly stopped by a shouting of stop. The voice was from Brandon; he and the group had turned up. Maria tried to tell Hunter J to not awaken Regigigas because it would bring disaster, but of course J didn't take any notice and Salamence destroyed the steel pillar.
"Don't you know what you're doing?!" Ash shouted at J. At that moment the orb of Regigigas started to glow. "Could Salamence's attack be waking up Regigigas?" said Maria. "I will not allow you to go through with this!" Brandon shouted to J. "All you can do now is just watch" smirked J. The orb showed no signs of Regigigas awakening, so J ordered Salamence to use flamethrower on the orb. "Don't do it!" shouted Brandon. It was too late because Salamence's flames hit the orb. When the flames did that a red light came from out of the ground. Regigigas woke up from its slumber.
Dawn looked at Regigigas on her pokedex: Regigigas, the Colossal Pokémon. There is an enduring legend that states this Pokémon towed continents with ropes.
Regigigas started attacking the temple with hyper beam. "Regigigas is angry because it was attacked and disturbed" said Ash. J found this amusing, seeing Regigigas power, and got ready to fire her beam at it. But Regigigas noticed her and Salamence and got ready to fire at them. J ordered Salamence to use dragon pulse, but of course Regigigas was stronger, so Salamence was pushed back. Regigigas started attacking the temple again. "If this keeps up the temple will be destroyed" said Brandon. As the inside of the temple was collapsing, J ordered Salamence to retreat. Brandon told everyone to get out too because it was far too dangerous to keep staying in the temple. He sent out his Regirock, Registeel and Regice and asked them to help him and the others get out of the temple safely.
Meanwhile J had gotten out of the temple. She told her men to go to another location of the area, while she kept an eye on Regigigas. Right now Brandon, Maria and the group were running towards the exit, with the legendary golems guarding them. Suddenly a hyper beam attacked the group and destroyed the temple. Luckily for the group, the legendary golems helped get them out just in time. "Where Regigigas?" asked Ash. "It's underneath all of that rubble" said Brandon, looking at the destroyed temple. "Even Regigigas couldn't get out of all that" said Brock. Brock was wrong; Regigigas broke out of the rubble and started firing hyper beam again. "Isn't there anyway to stop Regigigas?" Lucy asked Maria. "I'm afraid nothing can stop Regigigas now" said Maria.
Brandon told his legendary golems to get ready to fight. "Brandon what are you going to do?" asked Anabel. "I'm going to try and calm Regigigas's rage by catching it" said Brandon. It seemed fighting was the over way to calm Regigigas down. Brandon ordered the legendary golems to use hyper beam all together. Regigigas used hyper beam too and the legendary golems were pushed back. "Go in with focus punch!" commanded Brandon. The legendary golems charged at Regigigas together with focus punch, but Regigigas pushed them back again with its arms. "That Regigigas seems impossible to beat" said Anabel. "This leaves us no choice," said Brandon "Regirock, Registeel hold down Regigigas". Regirock and Registeel held onto Regigigas to keep it still and then Regice used ice beam. Regigigas, Regirock and Registeel became trapped in a block of ice. "Hey you did it!" cheered Ash. "Wow it worked" said Dawn. Unfortunately Regigigas broke out of the ice a second later. "Regice use zap cannon" said Brandon. Regice fired a zap cannon attack and Regigigas got hit by it and became paralyzed. Next Registeel attacked with iron head and Regirock attacked with stone edge. Regigigas started to get weaker from those attacks.
Brandon was just about to throw a pokeball at Regigigas when suddenly he and everyone else got tied up by a string shot attack. It was J and her Ariados tied up the group. What no one knew was J had watched everything and waited for Brandon to weaken the Regigigas for her. Now Regigigas was weakened J called this a good chance to capture Regigigas with her ray gun. But before J did anything, Regigigas used confuse ray. The confuse ray hit Regirock, Registeel and Regice and they became confused; more like under Regigigas's control. The three legendary golems attacked J and her Salamence with zap cannon and flash cannon to protect Regigigas. Then the four pokemon started to walk away. "It's just like the legend;" said Maria "Regirock, Registeel and Regice have become the three pillars that will protect Regigigas". J and her Salamence flew away to where her henchmen were to get ahead of the four pokemon. Brandon tried to return his Regirock, Registeel and Regice, but the confusion prevented the pokemon from returning to the pokeballs. Regice attacked Brandon with zap cannon, but Brandon jumped out of the way in time. "The pokemon are heading towards the city" said Dawn. "If they make it to the city, the city will get destroyed" said Brock. "We have to stop Regigigas or else" said Ash. Despite being tied up by a string shot, Ash managed to grab a pokeball from his belt and his Gallade came out. "Gallade use cut to get us out of these webs" said Ash. Gallade's cut attack set everyone free right away. Once everyone was free they got into Brandon's airship to catch up to Regigigas. Brandon contacted Samuel and told him to contact Officer Jenny and tell her what was happening.
Meanwhile J and her henchmen were getting ready to attack Regigigas and the legendary golems. "When they appear fire at the grand beneath them," said J "do not damage the merchandise no matter what". It wasn't long till the four pokemon turned up. J's airship attacked by firing some beams from some cannons. The legendary golems attacked the beams with hyper beam to counter attack. But the ship attacked again and it hit the ground, making Regigigas sink a bit. Next the ship fired a big bubble of sticky gum which trapped Regigigas and stopped it from moving. Because of that Regirock, Registeel and Regice snapped out of their confusions. Regigigas was still able to move its arms and it attacked the airship with hyper beam. J ordered the pilot to get the ship out of Regigigas's firing range; she didn't want her ship to be destroyed. Then she moved in with her Salamence to capture Regigigas. The legendary golems attacked with hyper beam, but Salamence dodged the attacks. Even though the three pokemon weren't confused any more, they still wanted to protect Regigigas. J fired a beam from her bracelet to catch Regigigas, but Regirock jumped in and took the beam instead.
At that moment Brandon and the group turned up, and they saw what had happened to Regirock. J fired another beam, but this time Registeel took it. "That's enough Hunter J!" shouted Ash. J didn't take any notice and just fired her beam again. This time Regice took the beam. "They did it to protect Regigigas" said Ash, understanding their feelings. "Look at Regigigas" said Dawn. "Regigigas is getting less angry" said Maria. "It's feeling emotions after seeing Regirock, Registeel and Regice sacrifice them-selves for it" said Anabel. J got ready to attack again. "Take the controls young man" Brandon said to Brock. He jumped off the airship while Brock took the steering wheel. As J fired another beam, Brandon jumped in to take the beam this time. "No Brandon!" shouted Ash. J was getting angry for the disturbance and fired another beam. Brock steered the airship to in front of Regigigas. Pikachu, Piplup, Growlithe, Espeon and Seviper attacked with thunderbolt, bubblebeam, psybeam and flamethrower to stop J. Salamence fired a dragon pulse attack to counter the attacks and fired another dragon pulse attack.
Suddenly Regigigas broke out of the sticky gum and defended everyone from the attack. It was no longer angry thanks to the selflessness Brandon and his pokemon showed. Regigigas deflected the dragon pulse attack right back at Salamence. The attack hit Salamence and broke J's bracelet. "Regigigas is no longer angry," said Anabel "Brandon's feelings got through to it". J ordered her men to get ready to attack, but then one of her henchmen called out to her. He said the clients, who wanted Regigigas, had called off their request because of all the commotion that was going on. J wasn't happy with her client's cowardice and told her men to retreat at once; she wasn't going to do business with that client again. She and her men left off in a hurry. Ash wasn't to do something to stop J from retreating, but this time he didn't bother because of Brandon's situation.
Maria and the group ran over to the stone statues of Brandon and his legendary golems. "Oh no" said Anabel. "Is there any way we can get them back to normal?" asked Dawn. Maria knew what to do and she went over to Regigigas. "Regigigas please forgive us," she said "we are so sorry for not protecting your slumber. But please save them. They did everyone they could to protect you I promise you they really did. Please help". Regigigas stood silent and still for a moment, but then it started to speak in its language. That meant it was going to help Brandon and his pokemon. "Oh thank you Regigigas," said Maria "everyone please step back". Anabel, Lucy and the gang stepped aside while Regigigas walked towards Brandon and the three golems. Then Regigigas used hidden power and, like a miracle, Brandon and his three pokemon were freed from being statues. "Where's Regigigas?" Brandon asked, once he was free. He saw Regigigas and was happy to see it was safe and peaceful again. Maria was grateful to Brandon for helping it all this time, and Brandon was grateful to Regigigas for saving him and his pokemon. Suddenly Regigigas turned back into a orb; it went back to sleep.
Everyone returned to the ruined Snowpoint Temple with Regigigas's orb, and Brandon placed the orb back to where it belonged. Brandon decided to stay in Sinnoh to help rebuild the temple and to protect Regigigas alongside with Regirock, Registeel and Regice. Maria agreed to work together with Brandon so that Regigigas would never be disturbed again. "May you sleep peacefully forever Regigigas" said Ash. Everyone hoped the incident with Regigigas would never happen again.
Later that evening everyone couldn't stop thinking about what happened with J. "J got away again!" grumbled Dawn. "Yes and there was nothing we could do this time because Brandon and his pokemon were in danger" said Ash. "I couldn't believe how evil that woman J is" said Anabel. "I hope she will be arrested soon" said Lucy. "Me too" said Brock.
The gang was happy Regigigas was at peace again and Snowpoint Temple was going to be well protected because of Brandon. But the trouble with J was still not over yet and there was no telling when the gang would meet her again.
After the trouble with Hunter J and the Snowpoint Temple, the gang planned to stay at Snowpoint City for two days. The truth is Ash wanted to spend time with Anabel and Brock wanted to be with Lucy. Dawn was going to spend the day with Zoey and Candice. "So Ash and Brock are going on dates with their girlfriends huh?" Candice asked Dawn. "Yes that's right," sighed Dawn "those two are lucky. It makes me hope I'll get a boyfriend one day". "I'm sure you will Dawn just remember you are still growing up" said Zoey. "Say what is Tomo going to do?" said Candice. "He said he wanted to evolve his Eevee into a Glaceon so he's going to find the icy rock" said Dawn. "Well good luck to him" smiled Zoey.
Meanwhile Ash and Anabel were outside with Pikachu and Espeon. "So Anabel what would you like to do?" asked Ash. "Well Ash I was thinking about exploring around the snowy area, check out the wild pokemon around here and play in the snow for a bit" said Anabel. "Sounds fun to me" smiled Ash. So the group set off together.
At that time Brock was talking to Lucy, telling her all about what he had been getting up to so far during the Sinnoh journey. He even showed her some of his new pokemon. "Hey Lucy want to take around Snowpoint City with me?" asked Brock. "I'd love to Brock" said Lucy. So Brock and Lucy went off to explore Snowpoint City together.
Ash and Anabel spent the day having fun in the snow; having snowball fights and making some pokemon out of snow. They even saw some wild Swinub and Snover. Pikachu and Espeon were enjoying themselves too; playing chase in the snow and such. "I'm glad I decided to take some time off and come here with Brandon," said Anabel "it's fun here at Snowpoint City, even though it is cold here". "Well if you didn't Anabel we wouldn't have been able to meet up again" smiled Ash. "That's true" said Anabel. She and Ash embraced each other, while Pikachu and Espeon looked on in happiness. At that time Brock and Lucy had a good time walking around Snowpoint City together and they had a little fun in the snow too. So the two couples had a wonderful time together.
That night the gang talked about their day with Zoey, Candice, Anabel and Lucy. Tomo released a Glaceon from a pokeball. "Wow Tomo you evolved your Eevee right?" asked Dawn. "Yep," answered Tomo "I got directions from Nurse for where the icy rock was. Mind you as the icy rock was in a cave we ended up getting lost most of the time". "Oh never mind Tomo," smiled Zoey "as long as you found it in the end that doesn't matter so much". "So Dawn what did you do all day?" asked Ash. "Zoey, Candice and I had some practice contest battles and Zoey introduced me to her parents, so we did quite a lot together" answered Dawn. Ash and Anabel talked about their time playing in the snow. Brock and Lucy talked about their time walking around Snowpoint City. "You four certainly had a wonderful and romantic time together" smiled Candice. Dawn still felt a bit jealous she hasn't found her important person yet, but Zoey assured her she would.
Suddenly Pikachu and Espeon pointed up at the sky. It was starting to snow, but the snow looked sparkly than normal. "Hey it's the diamond dust," said Candice "it's a special variant of snow that rarely comes at night". "It's beautiful" said Dawn. It was a beautiful sight to see.
The next day Anabel and Lucy were waiting for a bus that would take them to a harbour; they were going back to Kanto. "Well Ash keep on sending me emails of your journeys and call me okay?" said Anabel. "I will Anabel" smiled Ash. Lucy said the same thing to Brock. Just then a bus came. "Here's our ride Lucy" said Anabel. Before Anabel and Lucy boarded the bus Ash and Brock hugged their girlfriends and gave them a goodbye kiss. "Safe journey home" Ash and Brock said to Anabel and Lucy. Anabel and Lucy, still blushing, boarded the bus and left Snowpoint City.
After Anabel and Lucy left, the gang decided it was time to leave Snowpoint City. So they said goodbye to Candice and Zoey and left for their next destination.
I am so, so sorry for the long wait. I have been busy over the months. I will try to put up the next chapter as soon as I can so thanks for the patience. I hope everyone likes how I added in Anabel and Lucy for this chapter. Before anyone asks; it's Kenny who will be Dawn's love interest. Ash didn't show any sympathy for Paul during the battle with Brandon in the anime, in my opinion. Before I said that Ash's frontier place will be the Battle castle, but I've decided to change it to a Battle Gym instead because gyms suit Ash better than castles.
Now I have seen the new pokemon anime, but how come Ash hasn't caught any new pokemon yet? Go is catching lots of pokemon but Ash isn't. It's making me feel disappointed about the new series.
Now everyone about my the difference with four pokemon and a different partner stories; I'm not happy with them so I'm going to delete them and try and rewrite them with somethings that are completely different. Mostly with isekai. So please wait to see what will happen.
