130. Don't Stop
"Does this layout look complete?" demanded Cho, glaring.
"I-I-I," stuttered the intern as he glanced around, looking for an ally. "I worked really hard it! Lav said it great."
"'Lav'? 'Great'?" Cho repeated, her tone reaching levels of danger, danger.
The intern was looking more troubled by the second.
Dominique bit back a smile as she placed Cho's latte on her desk. This never failed to make her smile, and it was extra funny watching Cho knock this particular intern down.
"Dominique!" snapped Cho, glancing at her assistant.
He perked up, smirking a little viciously, expecting to witness Cho lay into her assistant.
"Who does one properly address supervisors?" Cho asked, her polished and professional.
"By their titles or last names, Miss Chang," she answered.
Something in Cho's eyes sparkled. She loved hearing her lover address her as Miss Chang.
"And when a supervisor offers feedback?"
"It's might sound like a suggestion, but it isn't."
The intern was glaring at Dominique. "While I–"
"When Miss Brown using the word 'great' she follows it up suggestions," Dominique explained, cutting him off. "Miss Brown's vision is what has made Charming the most popular fashion magazine in Europe."
"If you don't want to learn," Cho said, "then you can easily find a job at Witch Weekly or Magical Styles."
The intern glared, his hands curl into fists. "My father–"
"Mr. Goldstein is only a small investor," Dominique said, interrupting him for the second time, "and his opinion matters very little."
Cho smiled in her assistant's direction. "Out!" she ordered, turning to the intern.
The intern stuttered before quickly leaving.
"Have Lav demote him to ad placement or something," Cho said, waving her hand. "I don't want him touching anything without supervisor."
Dominique nodded, writing a quick note on her notepad. With a wave of her wand, it was folded into a paper plane and shooting off towards Lavender.
"Will there be anything else, Miss Chang?" Dominique asked with a seductive smirk, waving her wand to set up the wards.
In response, Cho wordlessly motioned her over.
