Santana's P.O.V.

"A little more to the left." I tell her and I hear her groan. Since Quinn fell asleep on me yesterday, we bargained a back rub for my trouble. Normally I'd just leave it alone but...I did bully a kid for her food.

"Don't push your luck." She says and I chuckle.

"Just saying. I could use a little more pressure. Put your back into it." I say and she puts more pressure.

"That's it." I say and even though I can't see her, I know she's rolling her eyes.

"You should be rubbing my damn back." She complains.

"Maybe next time don't go back on your word." Quinn flicks my ear and I laugh.

"Okay fine. We can end it here." I say as I sit up. I turn towards her and pull my shirt down.

"Thank you babe." I peck her lips and she rolls her eyes but returns it.

"Are you ready to go?" I ask her as I sit up from the bed. Quinn stands up and walks towards the dresser.

"Yeah. When does the movie start again?" She asks.

Rachel came by to get the kids about 30 minutes ago. Quinn decided she wanted to go to the movies and then bowling later if she's feeling up to it. Today Quinn has been feeling a little sluggish so we'll see how the night goes.

"9. so we have a little time." I tell her.

"Let's go now. I'm in the mood to kick your ass in basketball." Quinn says as she puts her lipstick on in the mirror.

"You? Beat me? You have to get these delusions under control Q." Quinn puckers her lips then looks over to me.

"Do you like this color? It's new." The color is somewhere between peach and pink.

"It's nice. How do you think it would look on me?" I ask as I step towards her.

"Not sure. Why don't we find out?" Quinn smirks and pulls me into a kiss. It starts off very gentle and soft...almost like she loves me or something. I wrap my hands around her waist and pull her against me. Quinn's arms wrap around my shoulders and she nibbles at my bottom lip. My lips part and her tongue finds mind. I almost moan at the contact then explore her mouth in return. I feel Quinn start to pull away and I reluctantly do the same. I look into those beautiful hazel eyes and feel my knees turn to jelly...I really love this woman. Quinn offers me a soft smile then pecks my lips again.

"I don't think it's the color for you but I love how you applied it." She smirks and I roll my eyes with a small smile pulling at my lips.

"You are such a tease."

"It's all about the teasing S." She says teasingly as she touches my forearm and walks past me.

"Let's go. Maybe if your good, we'll get to the pleasing later." Quinn winks at me then leaves the room.

I drive to the theater and I let Quinn win the few rounds of basketball we played before going to the concession stand to get her some popcorn. We go to our seats and Quinn lies her head on my shoulder as the movie starts. After the movie, Quinn is still feeling pretty well so we go to the bowling alley. After we get our lane, and shoes we play pool and then go back to bowling. Before I know it, we've played two games, tied of course, and Quinn is ready to go home.

"That was much needed." I say from the drivers seat. Quinn takes my hand and nods her head.

"When is the last time we even had a date night?" She asks and I shrug.

"Been way too long." I say and stop at a red light. Quinn leans over the center console and rubs my thigh then kisses my neck and makes her way up to my ear.

"I can not wait to get you home." She whispers, sending chills down my spine.

"I can always run the light." I say and she turns her head as she laughs.

"Just a little while longer." She says then gently sucks my earlobe before sitting back in her seat. I wish I could teleport right now. Quinn of course keeps touching me to tease me on the way home, Since we're finally here. I park the car and all but pull Quinn out and to the door.

"Someone's excited." She says through her giggle. I hurry to unlock the door and let her step in before me.

I quickly close the door and grab Quinn's hips. I push her into the kitchen and kiss her neck as she rests her hands on the island. My hands make quick work of my jacket and hers then I hoist her up onto the island behind her. Quinn pulls my face towards hers and kisses me passionately as I unbutton her pants. I unbutton my pants when I notice the kitchen light is now on. I pull away from Quinn and look over to the light switch. How is the light on?

"Did you turn on the light...somehow?" Quinn asks with skepticism. Oh god, the fucking house is haunted.

"I did." A voice says from the living room. Quinn and I snap our heads to see Lindsey sitting in our living room on the coffee table.

"What the fuck?!" I step away from Quinn and she fixes her clothes as she slides down to the floor.

"You have got to be kidding me." Quinn says.

"Get the hell out of my house before I call the police!" Quinn yells. Lindsey continues to sit there and then she...laughs. I'm not talking just a light hearted laugh. This...this is a malicious cackle. I haven't heard anything like this before. This is not going to end well.

Quinn's P.O.V.

Am I imagining this? Is this some weird dream? There's no way Lindsey is sitting in my living room right now. And...is she laughing? What the fuck is going on?

"I don't think you're going to want to do that. Come have a seat." She says calmly.

"This bitch has lost it." Santana says to me.

"Uh, hello?! Why the fuck are you in my house? How the fuck did you even get in here?" Santana asks. Lindsey stands and walks over to the wall where the light switch is and flips it.

"Pretty easy actually. Good thing I came over here a lot so that cute little furball knew me. I let the mutt outside though and he hasn't been back. Now, I'm not going to say it again, Sit down." Lindsey lifts her arm and points a gun at us.

"What the fuck?!" Santana exclaims then stands protectively in front of me. I grab her and push her down behind the island then crouch next to her. My heart is pounding in my chest. I can actually hear my blood flowing right now!

"I really don't feel like playing Hide and Seek with you two. GET OVER HERE! And don't you dare try anything funny!" Lindsey screams.

"I just want to talk." She says calmly in the next breath. I quickly open my phone and hope to god that someone is awake. I text Rachel to call 911 then put my phone in my pocket. Santana looks at me with a panicked look and I look past her to where Lindsey is now standing.

"What is with this family? Everyone wants to make my life difficult. Get up." Lindsey says and waves the gun in her hand in an up motion. Santana starts to slowly stand so I follow her.

"What do you want from us?" I ask and Lindsey sighs.

"To talk. I just said that. Now, let's go talk like adults."

"If we're being adults, put the gun down." Santana says and Lindsey laughs.

"No, I need some leverage right? Now, come on." She starts to walk to the living room and Santana and I share an unsure look. I wish I had my gun with me now. What's the point of it, if I don't have it when it matters? I begin to walk into the living room with Santana following closely behind. Lindsey sits in the recliner and Santana and I sit on the far end of the couch.

"What do you want to talk about?" I ask and Lindsey smiles at me.

"Well, Quinn I'm glad you asked!" She says happily.

"I was thinking after I talked to Aiden...the reason he doesn't want me around is because he has you two. Then I thought, maybe you two could help me convince him to give me another chance but I shot that idea down because of what happened with Santana. So after that, I thought...the only way I can have Aiden, is if you either sign him over to me...or die in a tragic house fire." She says then laughs at herself. Lindsey leans forward and grabs a glass of wine from the coffee table. How long has she been here?

"I've been waiting a while so I helped myself. Hope you don't mind." She says in a giddy tone then takes a sip of her wine. I look back down to the table and notice a folder sitting there. She wants Santana to sign over her rights.

"So, I got the documents. I just need a signature." She directs towards Santana.

"So let me get this straight, you think I'm going to sign over my son to your crazy ass? And if I don't? You're gonna do what? shoot me?" Santana says challengingly. Is she trying to get us killed?!

"That's the basics, yeah." Lindsey says and I sigh. This is a negotiation and Santana's sarcasm is only going to get us shot. I clear my throat and put on one of my most polite and entirely fake smiles.

"San, let me handle this okay?" I say then I lean back and cross my legs.

"Lindsey. The gun is honestly unnecessary. If you want to negotiate, we can do that. You can't just expect Santana to sign these documents without some terms." Lindsey eyes me skeptically but doesn't respond.

"May I?" I ask while gesturing to the folder on the table. Lindsey nods and I pick up the folder. Just what I thought. Documents granting sole custody to Lindsey.

"Now, my issue is this. Aiden is already resistant to even being in the same room with you. How do you suppose he's going to react to you having sole custody of him? Because I can almost guarantee you, he won't go. Even if you get the police involved, he's a stubborn kid. He'll only run away and did you even think about his future? He's the quarterback potentially looking at a NFL draft pick. If you ruin that for him...I don't think even god could help you." I say to Lindsey as she slowly sips her wine. Lindsey sits the gun in her lap before speaking again.

"I'll admit you have some points I didn't consider. So hypothetically, if you were me, how would you solve this issue if sole custody won't?"

"Well first off, I don't think threatening his parents with a gun is the best move." Santana says and I glance over at her. She just shrugs and I roll my eyes.

"Excuse my wife, she cracks easily under pressure." I say to Lindsey then I continue, ignoring the glance from Santana.

"Now, if I were you I'd just let everything run its course. He's already trying to warm up to the idea of talking to you. You do something like this and he'll run the other way." I tell her and she nods slowly.

"You see...I get that. It'll take time. I can put in the work...but the thing is...he wouldn't have much of a choice if you guys...just died." She says and laughs again.

"That's really, really risky Lindsey." I tell her. She quirks an eyebrow at me so I continue.

"Well first off, you'd be the first suspect because of our current legal issue. Second, even if they don't figure out it was you, Aiden will never be the same." I say.

"He'll move on. I'll help him."

"And what about our other kids? It's written that if anything was to happen to us, all our children will be under the care of mutual friends. Your temporary custody will probably just be terminated." Lindsey finishes her glass then sits it on the table and picks up her gun again but she looks conflicted. I got her.

"Be logical Lindsey. If you want Aiden to accept you, you just have to work hard to earn his trust. That's all."

"See, that's why I always liked you Quinn. Very logical, calculating, manipulative. You see, Santana...Santana I can always take at face value because her anger always finds a way to show itself. But you." Lindsey laughs humorlessly.

"You know how to control your emotions. I wouldn't expect any less from a lawyer. Especially with a track record like yours...but here's something I know even you didn't see coming. I have a plan C." Lindsey leans back and kicks her feet up on the table.

"You under estimate me Quinn." She says and I smirk.

"Is that right? Because I know what your plan C is, Lindsey. You have nothing to lose while we have everything. You're planning to kill all of us." I say and a wicked smile graces her lips.
