"Why did you bring us here?" whined Piper Finch-Fletchley as she followed behind her parents and other relatives. "This is torture!"

Alistair Bones laughed, grabbing another branch to place in his twin's arms. "It's for character building," he told his cousin.

Amy Bones exchanged a grin with her twin.

"No," Megan Jones sighed, "we wanted to share thing with you."

Piper whined as she continued to walk through the edge of the forest, "I don't even have a signal."

Amy laughed. "You'll get over it," she stated. "I did."

Her statement triggered a round of laughter.

"This is inhumane," Piper complained.

"It's perfectly legal," Susan Bones stated.

"She would know better than anyone," Grace Abbott pointed out.

Hannah Abbott laughed, wrapping an arm around her wife.

"Why are even here?" whined Piper.

"Because we felt you were old enough to join us," Megan replied, glaring at her daughter. "This is where we all met."

"Camp Hufflepuff?" Piper said in disbelief as she glanced around.

"It is," Alastair confirmed.

Piper continued to look around in disbelief. She had heard the stories, but this wasn't what she was expecting.

"It's changed," Hannah stated.

"But we'll always have our memories," Susan told her, lacing their fingers together.

"And what happy memories they are," Hannah added in a whimsical tone.

Amy and Alastair shared a laugh as Grace rolled her eyes.

Piper watched with a frown.

"You'll get over it," Richard Hopkins said with a fond smile.

"With time," Grace added.

"Come on," Amy began, "let's go down to the lake."

"Sounds like fun," Richard said as the group started the short walk to the lake shore.

"You're only going to look for that kraken," Alastair teased.

"Kraken?" Piper asked with a raised eyebrow.

"The one from our parents' stories," Grace answered. "I think they call it the Great Squid or something."
