"So you are saying we have to become a part human part animal hybrid so that we could defend ourself more effectively?" Garth asked the Pale Rider. "Indeed you must. Do not be concerned as your brother in law Humphrey, had also gone through the same transformation when he became one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse" Death answered.
That caught the interest of Kate. "What do you mean by 'gone through the same transformation'?". War steps in. "What Death was trying to say is that Humphrey was once a Nephilim but in the form of animal. A wolf to be precise. When we were about to become the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, The Charred Council noticed his physical feature and instantly knew he would not be an effective Horsemen".
"So what did they do to Humphrey?" Kate asked again. "They changed him. Using their power they gave him a new body fit for a Horsemen. He became the first animal with humanoid form. And that form was given the name anthro due to it being a merger between a human body with animal feature" Death explained.
"You have no idea how many female angels and demons fell in love with him whenever he was around. We could not blame them no matter what. He was too charming and irresistible in the said form. Moreover, he took his appearance after me. Bare chested with only boots, a leather belt around his waist and two pauldrons with straps running diagonally on his torso".
Kate starts to imagine her mate in such form. Subconsciously she started to drool. "Kate you are drooling" Lilly snapped her back to the real world. Kate shakes her head around in embarrassment. "Sorry. I was just zoning out thinking about him. I miss him a lot" Kate stated with a sad smile. But it was quickly replaced by a determined one. "How can we transform ourself to an anthro form?".
"We could send some of you with us to the Charred Council Chamber to be given the tablet" Death answered. "A tablet? Like an iPad?" Garth asked but get slapped lightly by Lilly rolling her eyes. "What?". Death proceeds once more. "The Charred Council created a tablet named as The Tablet of Hybrid. A slab of enchanted stone from an unknown origin capable of transforming the desired object or target into a combination of something else or something entirely new. It was named like that in honor of the first subject to by hybridized: Humphrey" Death explained.
"So when are we going to the chamber?" Garth asked. "We can go right now if you want. Depends to whether you are ready or not" Strife said. Kate nods confidently. "Then we will go now". But Death stops her with a hand gesture. "It would be better if you come prepared. Dana, pack them some decent clothings for their post transformation" Death ordered Dana to acquire them some clothings. "Alright. Wait here i'l be back in five minutes" And with that she goes somewhere to fetch them the necessary items. True to her words, she returns five minutes later with a duffel bag filled with clothings. "This should be enough for you all. Good luck" Dana said waving at them.
Kate, Garth, Lilly, Winston, Tony and Eve looked at each other before Kate gave a confirming nod to the Horsemen. "We are ready". Death simply created a portal that goes directly to the Charred Council Chamber. War picked up the duffel bag before walking into the portal. "Here goes nothing".
The cool and quiet atmosphere of Jasper Park was quickly replaced by the hot and hellish atmosphere of the chamber. The Charred Council stood in their ever the same position. Never moving an inch. The presence of the Horsemen along with the wolves were more than enough to caught their attention.
"It appears that you have return to this chamber along with six other creatures. What is you purpose to visit us now, Horsemen?" The second Charred Council asked. "Is this about the fifth Horsemen again? Is that your motive to bring them here along with you? As stated before we know nothing about Humphrey's whereabouts. This would be yet another futile attempt to gain information Horsemen. Begone!" The first Council accused harshly. "Calm down your fiery heads Council. We are here not for Humphrey. Not now at least" Strife replied and mumbled the last part.
"What is that you seek now Horsemen? Aid?" The third Council quiered. "That would be correct Council. We seek the Tablet of Hybrid to transform these wolves into anthros. As was Humphrey before, a long time ago" Death explained their reason here. "And what would be the motive for you to do so? The Tablet of Hybrid is a sacred object only to be used by The Council itself. No other being can utilize it without our permission" The second Council asked.
"A war is coming to our doorsteps Council. We need additional manpower on our side and with this, we want to transform an entire wolf pack into a human animal hybrid to aid us in the war" War answered. "How do we know you would not use it for something malicious? To create something powerful enough to disturb The Balance" The first Council asked. "We only wanted what's best for us. We have no intention to do something that would create a discord between Realms" Death stated.
The Charred Council goes silent. It appears that Death had struck a convincing reason to them. After all, he's the most loyal Horsemen of them all. The third Council magically summons the Tablet from thin air, confirming its magical trait. It hovers right onto Death's hands before losing its levitation power. "Use it wisely Horsemen. The Tablet is now yours. We will keep your words as a promise. Should you break it. The Tablet shall be returned and punishment shall be executed".
"Yeah yeah see you later group of grumpy old beings" Strife waving his arms around in a bored expression. "DO NOT INSULT US VILE CREATURE! YOU MAY BE THE HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE BUT NEVER FORGET YOUR TRUE FORM: A CURSED, DESTROYER OF CREATION, MURDERER OF COUNTLESS BEINGS NAMED THE NEPHILIM!" The first Council fuming with rage causing the chamber to glow brighter as lava around them bubbling wildly while the fire turned into an inferno.
"Apologies Council. Strife has been a pain in our head for quite some time now. We shall leave now" War said dragging Strife through the portal now along with the duffel bag. Death followed after the wolves were back to Jasper Park.
"So how does this thing work?" Winston asked. "Allow me to show you" Death said. The tablet glows bright blue as Death starts chanting the text inscribed on it. "W-Whoa! What's happening?!" Garth asked fearfully. Their body is slowly being engulfed by blue flames but surprisingly it did not burn them into ashes. They were lifted off the ground as the flame continues to burn bigger and brighter. Death continue to chant as he slowly completing the transformation process.
Death suddenly stop the chanting as the wolves drop to the ground still covered in the flames. It slowly die, revealing the wolves with a wolf's head, wolf's feet and toes and tail but with human body and human fingers. Fur covers their entire body.
"Oh my god! I am... changed!".
"Wow this is weird".
"I kinda like this form".
"You may want to get dressed now" War said opening the duffel bag and placing it near them. The group quickly get dressed before trying to stand up on two legs for the first time in their life. "So this is how it feels to stand as a human. And my god i grew way taller than before!" Lilly said to herself. "And you definitely became sexier baby!" Garth whistled to her. She blushed but enjoy the compliment nonetheless. They noticed that the females have two bulges on their chest. "Umm is this what humans called breasts?" Kate asked. "Correct. You should get used to it" Death replied.
Garth and Winston could not stop staring at it.
"Damn Lilly you got some big tits!".
"Eve forgive me but you look amazing".
The two female wolves blushed at the comments. Kate was a tad disappointed that Humphrey wasn't here to praise her.
"Let's go. We still have one more thing to do: transform the entire pack to anthros" Death said still holding the tablet in his hands.
