Chapter 138: A Woman's Thanks

Chelia couldn't help but blink in utter surprise as she was given the rundown. She was now sitting at the bar next to Romeo, who was sitting next to Wendy who was sitting next to Marvell, as everyone else from their spots or were currently closer to help fill the pink haired Sky God Slayer on who Observer was, the world where Marvell came from and about the whole viewing other alternate realities of their own planet.

Needless to say she was speechless.

"So… if I'm getting this right," Chelia started to speak as she looked over towards where Observer was standing first, "He came from that device that's lying on the floor that gives off that blue smoke, which allows you all to see other alternate realities of our world," She then turned towards where Marvell was sitting behind Wendy, "You come from some war torn planet that fights horrible underground reptile monsters with weapons that would slaughter practically anyone," her gaze then just looks arounds the entire guild with still wide eyes, "And you all have been watching many of these other versions of Earthland? Since like two days ago?"

"Yeah, that's pretty much the rundown." Wendy responded with a nervous smile, while Chelia leaned back in her seat in surprise over all of this.

"…Wow. I just came here to visit and hang out with you, yet I find my whole view of reality turned upside on its head." The pink haired girl replied back still in surprise over all of this new information.

"If it makes you feel any better, most Earthlands I have gone too tend to be just as shocked if not more when they find out that alternate realities are a thing." Marvell told her in a casual manner, which got some of the others to merely shake their heads from seeing this. The blue haired teenager herself was still rubbing her head from how Cana punched her earlier. Glaring towards the brown haired woman, Marvell gained a sinister smirk on her face, 'Just you wait Cana, for hitting me I'll make sure before I leave Natsu finds out about your feelings for him! IN FRONT OF EVERYONE TOO! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!'

'Why do I feel a chill down my spine?' Cana thought with confusion as she shivered slightly, unsure why though.

Chelia remained silent for a bit, trying to find the right words to say from hearing all of this before she went on to speak once more towards everyone.

"So… what kinds of different Earthlands have you all seen?" She couldn't help but ask, as the others looked at one another trying to figure out where to start. Luckily Romeo took over as he tried his best to explain towards the Lamia Scale Mage.

"We've seen all kinds of different Earthlands. Ones that were weird, happy, sad, and/or horrifying. There are all kinds of different Earthlands that we've seen. And from what we heard from 137-C and these others who we saw travel to other worlds there are many more different kinds of realities out there." Romeo shared to her as he recalled Krograll and Freddy and of course that one world with that Emperor who was Natsu's dad, getting her to nod in understanding.

"Then… can I see some of these worlds? I would like to see what they may be like myself." Chelia admitted, as the others only smiled. They figured that she would be interested and want to hang around to watch some with them.

"You may if you want too mortal. I can go ahead and set up a new link if you all wish." Observer responded to the pink haired girl, not minding another mortal to be present as they continued to view other alternate timelines.

"You may go ahead Observer." Makarov told the Constellar, giving him the okay as the living constellation went on to channel his energy into the blue smoke to set a new link up. Chelia couldn't help but find how Observer does the setting of a link to another world fascinating.

With that those who were up from their seats went back to their original position to prepare for the next timeline to be shown to them all. Knowing Observer it wouldn't be long before a link will be set up, as they now only waited.

"Excited?" Wendy asked her friend, who nodded as her eyes were still on Observer.

"Yeah, I'm kind of curious what the first world I'll see fully will be like. Sure, I saw glimpse of that last one you all saw, but this will be my first viewing of a full one." Chelia responded with a smile, kind of excited to see what lied in store for her and the rest of them.

"Let's just hope it's nothing weird like how our first one was…" Millianna recalled as her face went red along with many of the women, recalling the rather… lewd turn that alternate timeline took.

This puzzled Chelia as well as the men and Wendy, as they all were forced to turn away when that world's Natsumi became topless.

"Weird how?" Chelia asked with a tilt of her head, which to Romeo made her look pretty cute. That thought though also caused him to be confused. Where did that thought come from?

"Yeah, that female me and that older Romeo fought and ended in a draw right? You all said it yourself, so what's weird about that?" Natsu recalled, completely unaware of what was truly happening between that world's Natsumi and Romeo. Hearing that got the Sky God Slayer to gained wide eyes in surprise once more.

"Wait… there was female version of you?" Chelia questioned towards where Natsu was, who only nodded in response.

Meanwhile the rest of the women like Kagura and Erza had heavy blushes on their faces. Luckily, they wouldn't have to answer as Lisanna noticed Observer finishing setting a new link up in the blue smoke to show them yet another timeline.

"Oh, hey look Observer's finished setting a link up let's watch it yeah great!" She spoke up rather loudly and in haste, getting everyone to look towards the blue smoke once more showing that a new link was indeed set up now. Seeing them no longer on the subject got the youngest Strauss sibling to sigh with relief as did many of the other females.

Observer didn't say anything as he took a few steps back before crossing his arms, his gaze now on the blue smoke that will show whatever Earthland that will appear for them to see. Chelia was excited as she leaned in a bit to look at the blue smoke. She wondered what this other alternate Earthland will be like. She couldn't wait to find out.

With that, the blue smoke started to show another alternate reality once more.

The reign of night dominated the sky, nothing but clouds and half of a moon visible in the night dominated sky. Down below the light emitted from the illuminated heavenly body showed a forest deep within the mountains. No town was nearby, the closest one being a three days journey.

In the mountains and forest showed a decent sized wooden cabin in a small clearing. A small garden was present which grew several crops and other vegetables surrounded by a wooden fencing with a small gate to the front. Nearby a stump of a tree was also present with an axe embedded into it. On the other side of the cabin a few wooden targets hanging from a few nearby trees could be spotted, having a few arrows lodged into the center of each of them. Close by a campfire was spotted, though current no flames were alit.

If one would look inside of the wooden cabin in the middle of nowhere far from the rest of civilization, one would call it small but cozy. There was a small kitchen with a stove, a wooden table with a couple wooden chairs, and a desk that held some collected fruits and preserved meat from hunted wildlife. Next was the living room, which was small being nothing but a single worn downed couch and a small table in front of it as well as an old wooden rocking chair close by. Down to a nearby hall led towards two bedrooms, one which was originally used for storage space before one of the two who now lived here moved in so to say. And the last room was a bathing area where one of the two individuals who also lived here had just went into.

Currently in the second former storage room now bedroom, a woman who looked to be in her late thirties or early forties that many would consider beautiful was present with nothing but a white towel wrapped around her rather voluptuous figure. She had long blonde hair that went down her back and brown colored eyes. Right now, she seemed to be thinking about something as she looked at the entrance of the room with a mixture of worry yet excitement.

Everyone gained surprised expression as they saw the blond woman, none more so than Lucy as she recognized who the female was.

"It's mom again!" Lucy exclaimed in surprise, not expecting to see another version of her mother that was alive again.

"Oh, is it? I though it was you." Gray admitted as he realized he mistaken Lucy's mom with her once again like the first time they saw an alternate version of the women who birthed her. Meanwhile Juvia glared towards the blonde with a jealous glare, not liking how the Ice Maker Mage's was looking at the Celestial Mage.

"Wait, that's your mom?" Chelia asked in surprised, as Lucy turned towards the pink haired Sky God Slayer with a nod of her head.

"Yeah, it seems to be the case. Wonder where she's supposed to be at though." Lucy replied before her eyes refocused back onto the blue smoke showing the other Earthland once again, confused as to where her mother was supposed to be at. Plus, why was she wearing nothing but a towel? Was she about to take a bath or something? If that's the case then she should make sure none of the guys watch.

Chelia let out a silent whoa as she looked at the older blonde woman in the alternate timeline. She looked so much like Lucy. Guess it would obviously explain where the Celestial Mage's looks came from.

"Are we about to see her take a bath? I wouldn't mind that!" Wakaba exclaimed with a perverted grin on his face.

And that's how Wakaba went flying through the air before crashing into a nearby wall, leaving a Wakaba shaped hole in said wall before he crashed onto the ground courtesy of a now annoyed Lucy with her good old fashion Lucy Kick. Perfect to sending perverts flying through the air and into nearby walls and structures. The blonde now had her arms crossed as she had a tick mark from hearing what the Smoke Mage said, while Macao and Makarov only pitied their friend. The two being wise to remain silent else they too would suffer the blonde's wrath.

"Idiot…" Marvell muttered as she shook her head in amusement, finding it funny. Everyone else simply sweat dropped from seeing this before they would refocus on the alternate timeline once again.

Layla looked at the entrance of her room before taking a few steps from her bedroom and into the small hallway, her eyes gazing over towards where the bathing area was at. The other person who lived here and the one who owns the place was in there.

She took a few more breaths as she steadied her resolve.

"Okay Layla, you can do this." Layla told herself in a small yet determined tone, gaining a brave face before she started to head towards her destination. She was a woman on a mission, and she was going to get it done no matter the cause.

"Do what? What is she planning on doing?" Natsu couldn't help but ask out of curiosity. Wasn't she just going to take a bath? What was hard about that?

"Take a bath maybe?" Kinana guessed with uncertainty. It seemed like it would be the case yet why did Layla give herself a small word of encouragement over something like cleaning herself?

"Oh, maybe someone else is already in there?" Max wondered aloud.

That got Lucy to realize that was most likely the case. Was it her dad? But why would… oh no, please tell her they weren't going to have sex or something are they? The idea of seeing her parents start to do something like that in front of her and everyone else, even if it was an alternate version of her mother and father would scar her for life. Her faced paled at the thought if this was going to happen. She hoped not.

Meanwhile in the bathing area, a content sign emerged from the only other entity who lived in the cabin, with the lower half of his body emerged underwater as he leaned against the edge of the bath.

"Ah… now this feels nice. Glad I was able to make an actual bathtub this time before the winter settled in. Can't have Layla bath in cold water forever after all…" The figure muttered as he leaned back once more closing his eyes in the process with a content smile. He felt completely relaxed and warm.

The nearly naked figure that was currently enjoying himself in the warm water looked to be around seventeen years old. He had a lean muscular body as water dripped down his exposed skin before hitting the surface of the bathwater his lower half was thankfully covered in. He possessed black colored eyes and had dark purple messy and somewhat spiky hair with a few bangs going over between and over his left eye. Granted at the moment said hair was wet so it was looking a bit differently than it usually did.

"Huh?! Is that me?!" Romeo shouted in surprise, not expecting to see himself present in this other timeline once again. The Rainbow Fire Mage wasn't the only one as the rest of those in the guild hall were just as surprise.

"…That's weird." Marvell admitted, finding how he and the other version of Lucy's mother in the same place together unusual. However, she just shrugged it off, not seeing any issue. It's not like Layla likes the teenager in this timeline or anything, because that would be weird.

'Wow, it looks like that other older him I saw a bit earlier.' Chelia thought to herself, seeing how this older version of Romeo looked similar to that other older version of him that he managed to catch a glimpse of in that last timeline she walked in on just minus the scars that the other alternate him had. However, she couldn't help but look at his naked form which the bathwater was thankfully covering everything below the waist with an analyzing look. He did look rather handsome; would Romeo here get a body like tha-?

She found herself slapping her own cheek while her face went beet red of what she just thought of. Where on Earthland did that come from?!

Thankfully no one else seemed to notice her little trail of thought and action of slapping herself in the face like an idiot, as everyone was more confused about seeing how an older Romeo was present who also shared the same cabin with another version of Lucy's mom.

"Uh… why does this other Romeo share a place with Lucy's mother?" Levy asked with confusion yet a hint of worry, though she didn't know why she was worried.

"Hmm… maybe Romeo is related to her and Lucy in this other timeline? Or maybe in this world he was adopted for some reason?" Freed tried to figure out the possibilities. If Romeo was related then he was no doubt Lucy's brother. Or if he was adoptive then he would still be Lucy's brother in this other timeline just not by blood.

"Are you sure that's the case here?" Evergreen asked, the brown haired woman not really convinced from that possibility. It didn't look like it could be the case as nothing indicated any of those theories to be true, "Besides, why would Lucy's mom seem nervous a moment ago then?"

"Well, if by chance somehow Romeo is related to her and Lucy, then maybe she's just feels nervous to see if he would like to clean with her? I mean mothers would help their kids with bathing when young right?" Erza guessed as she simply went by Freed's own theories of if Romeo was someone related or part of the Heartfilia family in this timeline or not. Besides, it was just like how when she, Natsu and Gray would use to bath together… but now the thought of bathing alone with Natsu got her face to go beet red. Thankfully no one noticed this.

"Helping one another get clean is manly!" Elfman exclaimed with a grin, preferring this explanation even if it itself was still weird.

"But if this is the case where would my father and I be?" Lucy asked, unsure if this was the case then where was her double and the double of her father at?

Romeo was too lost in the warmth the water was, he failed to notice a certain blonde woman who still thankfully had a towel over her body enter into the bathing area, her footsteps on the wooden pavement beneath her barely hearable thus did not go noticed by the relaxing dark purple haired male.

"Is the water good?" Layla spoke up, and Romeo, not realizing he was no longer alone, simply responded back without a care with his eyes still closed.

"It feels great, thanks for asking." He responded casually with a smile and closed eyes still on his face…

…Only for them to open wide in a comical manner as he realized he was no longer alone. Quickly turning around he let out a small yelp while his face became as red as an apple as he saw Layla now in the area, her form standing a few feet away from where he was at still covered in a towel thankfully. It still didn't make the blush he had fade away though.

"LAYLA?! Why are you in here?!" Romeo stuttered out like an idiot as he saw the blonde woman in the bathing area as he was. Seeing him react in such a manner merely got the blonde older woman to giggle slightly in amusement, finding it both cute and adorable.

"I'd figured I would wash your back," She innocently replied with a small smile on her face still, moving closer towards the nervous and blushing dark purple haired teenager, "It's okay, there's no need to be shy."

"It's fine, really!" Romeo continued stuttering like a moron while the blonde moved closer. He simply responded once more while still stuttering because he was an idiot, "I can do it myself!"

'TWO SECONDS LATER'

An embarrassed looking Romeo was spotted with his face beet red as he sat on a block of wood, thankfully now having a towel around him to cover his privates from being exposed for all to see. And behind him a happy and smiling Layla was washing his back thankfully with her own towel still wrapped around her curvaceous form.

'This is awkward to watch…' Lucy thought to herself with a slightly disturbed expression from what she was seeing. Everyone else was either just as weird out or confused by the whole thing. Romeo himself seemed to have a similar feeling if the confused yet weird out expression he had was any indication.

But hey, at least it beats what she assumed earlier of her mother and father about to say have sex in the bathing area for all to see. She would have had a heart attack or something if something like that were to happen.

At least this can't get worse right?

"Does it hurt?" Layla asked gently as she continued to clean Romeo's bare back, with said teen still feeling embarrassed about this whole thing.

"No… it's fine…" He managed to respond with a low tone, still embarrassed about the beautiful woman right behind him cleaning his back. His blush intensified as Layla leaned forward to continue doing her work, unintentionally, or at least he believes to be unintentionally pressing her large breasts into said back without a care if the towel she wore around her would get wet in the process. Luckily, he managed to keep quiet about it and tried to persevere through this.

It was silent once more for a moment, before the silence would be broken when Layla started to speak up.

"I… never really got to properly thank you did I?" She started to say in a soft tone, all while a soft smile formed on her face once again. Hearing this confused the dark purple teenager.

"Huh?" Romeo responded with a genuine puzzled expression on his face, however he still was facing away from her as to not accidently look at her nearly naked form despite the fact she's wearing a towel still.

"When I bolted away from those slavers and I ran into you… you manage to rescue me from being caught again. If… if it weren't for you and your kindness, I would no doubt have been captured once more and would be living a life of prostitution right now." Layla replied back to him with her soft gaze and warm smile still present on her face.

Layla knew that at the time he was but a stranger who lived in the woods and mountains far away from civilization. He could have simply done nothing and ignored her, and let the slavers capture her once again to sold as some sex slave. He didn't. And once the slavers lost their trail, he could have simply let it be done like that and told her to leave to find somewhere else for refuge. Instead, he offered his roof, his home, his kindness to her as long as she wanted when she had nothing. Leaning a bit closer to him, her loving gaze remained on the younger man before her still.

"For that… I truly do offer you my thanks." Layla told Romeo, who was surprise to hear the praise coming from the older women. To him, he didn't think he deserved it. After all, to him he was just doing the right thing.

Hearing this from the older blonde woman that was Lucy's mom grabbed everyone's attention.

"Wait, she was going to be sold as some sex slave?" Kagura questioned as her gaze hardened at the thought of such vile people planning to force someone like Lucy's parent to live such a horrendous life. Everyone else also gained hardened glares from the mere thought of such a thing as some like Natsu and Gray clench their fists tighter from anger.

"That's horrible…" Chelia muttered out in slight fright from the mere idea that something of such a horrible scale nearly befell the older blonde woman in the alternate timeline. She wasn't expecting something like this to be seen and heard of in this other reality.

"So she escape them and went on the run, and the other Romeo had managed to help her escape her capturers." Marvell realized, already imagining what she would do if she ever were to run into the low life scum who were behind it all. They would be screaming for mercy if she had anything to say about it.

"Well… at least such a fate didn't end up happening thankfully," Levy stated with a smile forming on her face for a moment, only for confusion to then take hold while she put a hand on her chin in a thinking position, "But since she's free, wouldn't she wanted to return to her family?"

That puzzled the others also, unsure of why that would be the case. At least until a few of the Mages then realized why she seemly remained with the other Romeo and not tried to leave to return to her would be family.

"It could be possible that Lucy's mom may not have a family in this other timeline. But if that's true…" Freed trailed off as Lucy took over, her eyes widening as she also connected the dots.

"Then I don't exist in this other reality." The Celestial Mage concluded. So she was never born in this other world, it would seem to make the most case. She didn't know how to feel about that.

The others were surprised also while Marvell found this development to be interesting. From personal experiences she couldn't recall seeing an Earthland where the blonde was never born. Maybe the others have? She would have to ask them once she returned home and met up with them again.

Romeo couldn't help but blush more from hearing the gratitude that came from the older woman's mouth, getting more embarrassed with each passing second while he managed to stay facing forward and away from her as to not see her nearly naked form.

"You don't need to thank me, really. I just did what I thought was right." He responded with a slight stutter in his tone, which got Layla to giggle a little at how adorable he sounded.

"Of course I do Romeo, you deserve it for all the kindness you have shown me…" Layla trailed off before she was fully leaning into the dark purple haired male's back, pressing her large bosom much more into his back which caused a bit of steam to emit from Romeo's head.

Due to her being taller than him by a short amount, she was able to look down on him before using one of her hands to gently grab his cheek. Romeo felt his own face being forced to look upward as she saw the gentle and slightly blushing face of Layla up above him while she was still behind him. He couldn't help but feel his heartbeat faster by how close she was to him.

"So allow me to repay the kindness you have shown me." Was all Layla responded with her soft, yet love filled tone.

And before Romeo knew it, she gently pressed her lips into his own, causing his eyes to widen immensely from the act of love he received.

Glass shattered in the minds of everyone as many, especially Lucy and Romeo gained utter looks of sheer horror from what they were witnessing. Chelia and Wendy also looked just as shocked and horrified with their jaws hanging from their mouths. Observer remained neutral about this, not seeing the issue as the other Romeo and Layla in the alternate timeline were of the right age to show love to one another. Marvell's expression was uncertain, but her skin seemed to pale and her hair casted a shadow over her eyes while she stayed frozen like a statue.

"…I'm not going to lie; this is kind of hot." Bicsklow admitted with wide comical eyes still facing the blue smoke showing the timeline.

Normally he would have either been attacked by someone hitting him or chucking something at him for his words, however nearly everyone including Romeo and Lucy who were the most likely to have done something to hurt him for his words were frozen like statues, absolute horror filling their bodies as their skin paled greatly.

Romeo didn't know what to do as the older woman remained lip locked onto him, yet despite his utter shock he found himself closing his eyes to enjoy the nice kiss. She tasted a lot like vanilla, which happened to be his favorite. Eventually she pulled away, leaving a blushing Romeo in her wake who was shaking slightly while steam erupted from his head.

"L…Layla…? Wha-?" Romeo stuttered out like an idiot before he was cut off with Layla placing a finger over his mouth, silencing him while she continued to gaze at him with loving eyes.

"No need to say anything Romeo… just allow me to show my thanks for you…," Layla responded before once more pressing her lips into Romeo's own, catching him off guard once more.

This time however, Romeo found himself falling for her kiss and charms, closing his eyes in the process. Slowly turning around, both he and Layla shifted their bodies to allow the two of them facing towards one another while retaining the kiss they were sharing with one another. Pulling away for a brief moment for air, the two once more engaged into a heated kiss, with Romeo unconsciously wrapping his arms around the taller woman to pull her towards him closer while Layla was basically now sitting on his lap. Her large bust was now pressed into his chest as Layla, seeing an opening in his mouth shoved her tongue into his mouth causing the two to engage in a French kiss now.

Both emitted moans of pleasure while Layla, using one of her free hands, slowly moved towards the towel wrapped around his waist, before slowly pulling it down to reveal his-.

"NO NOT AGAIN!" Almost everyone shouted aside from Observer while Marvell remained frozen like a statue alongside a horrified Wendy, Chelia, Romeo and Lucy while the rest proceeded to freak out just like the past other times they were witnessing such a lewd and perverted turn taking place.

"WHY DO WE HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS BULLSH*T AGAIN?!" Laxus shouted as he promptly ducked behind the table he and the rest of the Thunder God Tribe were sitting at before closing his eyes shut and covering his ears to not to hear the perverted sounds the alternate Romeo and Layla were making.

"OBSERVER CUT THE LINK OFF NOW!" Macao shouted in haste while covering his eyes, refusing to watch another version of his son and Lucy's mom about to screw each other. He may be a pervert, but he has standards dang it!

"They're just going to reproduce with one another, why is that an issue?" Observer couldn't help but ask in confusion. Seriously this was like what, the third time they all acted like this just because a mortal man and a mortal woman were going to procreate. Well fourth if he counted the women freaking out from seeing that one female version of Natsu and the older Romeo. Why was this such a big deal? Was it a mortal thing?

"OBSERVER CUT THE LINK OFF NOW OR I'LL CHUCK THE DEVICE IN YOUR FACE!" Gajeel shouted while covering his ears and closing his eyes tightly to block out the sight and noises of the perverted actions of the other Romeo and Layla.

He was still confused as they didn't really answer his question, but nevertheless the Constellar figured he would abide to their requests as he went on to channel his energy into the blue smoke once more to cut the link off.

And not even a moment later, the link was severed. The blue smoke was blank once more.

That caused everyone to breath in utter relief, many who were running around like headless chickens simply sliding onto the ground to calm down. Romeo and Lucy however still looked completely physically ill with Romeo hunched over with his head face first into the bar before him. Lucy simply remained still trying to recover from the nightmare sight she just witnessed.

"…I… definitely need some bleach for my eyes now." Evergreen grumbled out as she and the others in her team such as Laxus returned to get back into their table, recovering from seeing the perverted turn of the other timeline.

Chelia managed to recover from what they just saw, still in disbelief over seeing how the other older Romeo and Lucy's mom were practically about to have sex right then and there. She couldn't believe that the first alternate timeline she witnessed, something like THAT ended up happening. Seeing Romeo looking disturbed still however got the pink haired girl to be puzzled.

"Uh… Romeo? Are you alright? Normally most guys would probably be happy if they hooked up with a woman like that." Chelia couldn't help but be confused despite the shock and embarrassment of it all.

"That was Lucy's mom! It… It's just weird and disturbing to see something like that happen!" Romeo couldn't help but raise his voice a little while he still was recovering from seeing the horrific sight. Nearby Wendy merely sighed as she too managed to calm down. Both her and Chelia were just glad it was over now.

"At least it's over now, right Marvell. …Marvel?" Wendy asked, only to be confused from a lack of response. Turning her head, her puzzlement grew when she saw the older version of herself no longer present at the seat next to her, "Huh? Where did she go?"

She would get her answer when she suddenly heard really loud vomiting coming from the restrooms down the nearby hall, which got Wendy to gain a deadpanned stare. Guess seeing all of that was too much even for her huh?

A few minutes later as everyone else managed to calm down and feel better including both Lucy and Romeo, Marvell emerged once more from the hall before walking over back into her seat, which grabbed everyone's attention as their eyes were on the battle hardened female. She had a blank expression on her face before she turned towards her younger counterpart… before handing Wendy her bat, confusing the Sky Dragon Slayer further.

"Wendy, I need you do me a favor," Marvell started to speak in a neutral tone before pointing at her head, "I need you to hit me with my bat in the head as hard as you can so I can hopefully get amnesia and forget seeing that sight."

"I'M NOT GOING TO DO THAT!" Wendy shouted in response. Why would Marvell ask her to do such a thing?! Wasn't that taking it a bit too far?

"WHY NOT?! I NEED TO CLEAR MY HEAD FROM SEEING THAT HORRENDOUS SIGHT! LIKE IF IT WAS NATSU I WOULD UNDERSTAND BUT ROMEO?! WHY DID WE HAVE TO SEE HIM BEING SEDUCED AND ABOUT TO F**K LUCY'S MOM?!" Marvell shouted in response, as she simply just wanted Wendy to hit her in the head with her bat so she could hopefully forget seeing that a timeline like that exists.

"It's not like I can control what to see and what not to see you know." Romeo managed to respond with a deadpanned expression on his face, lying his head on the counter still.

"Please stop," Wendy requested from both of the young Fire Mage and her 137-C counterpart before she looked towards her older double, "Marvell why do you have to be so mean to him anyway?"

Marvel took a breather as a small grin formed on her face from hearing such a question.

"Oh relax, he can take it. It will help toughen him up. If he wants to not be pushed around then he should stick up for himself." Marvell responded with a proud grin still on her face, as Laki went on to speak up.

"Uh Marvell, I know you probably see being soft as a weakness and whatnot due to your war with the Locust, but you could at least be a bit nicer. What would your own Romeo thing if he saw you act like that towards a double of him?" Laki suggested and asked, which caused Marvell to lose her grin and gained a dark and annoyed look on her face.

"Didn't they said he died?" Bickslow asked like an idiot, shocking Chelia as she didn't know this. This 137-C's own Romeo… he had perished? Was it during this war with those Locust or whatever they were called that she was briefly told about?

"Oh sure just casually bring that up about someone she knows dying like that why don't you?" Freed told his teammate with a deadpanned stare of his own.

"Hey I was just saying to make sure!" Bickslow defended himself while raising his arms up in defense.

"He's dead, he doesn't say anything anymore." Marvell harshly responded with a scowl on her face. If one were to look closely, they would have seen her slightly shaking a bit. This was something that Observer noticed, however remained silent as the others flinched a bit from hearing her tone.

"Still," Gray started to respond with slight caution, not noticing the anger that was growing on the older blue haired teen's face, "I'm sure even he would not want you to treat other good none evil versions of himself like our own like that? I mean, do you just some reason hated him for no good reason? From what we gathered from hearing from all of you, your own Romeo was just a kid right? Did you seriously hate a mere child just becau-?"

He was cut off as without warning a wooden chair was thrown directly at him, one that he was barely able to dodge as the piece of furniture crashed into the ground behind him. Seeing this he along with the others looked back towards Marvell, who was now on her feet with a look of sheer rage present on her face. She looked like she was about to murder the Ice Maker Mage from his accusation.

"WHAT THE F**K DO YOU KNOW?! HOW DARE THAT YOU EVEN THINK THAT IS HOW I FELT! HE WAS ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS! ONE WHO WAS KILLED ALONG WITH MILLIONS OF OTHERS ON THAT DAY! HE WAS AWESOME! HE PLANNED ON MARRYING MEREDY WHEN HE WAS OLDER! AND YET YOU DARE GET ONTO ME AND TRY TO FRAME ME AS SOME HEARTLESS B*TCH WHO COULDN'T CARE LESS?! ESPECIALLY WHEN… WHEN…" Marvell roared out in utter fury towards Gray before struggling to continue her rant.

Turning her way towards where Romeo was, she marched over towards him causing him to widened his eyes in slight worry before she grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him towards her, getting him to now be standing on his feet. Recovering from the surprise move, Romeo was about to ask what she was doing before he spotted the tears that threatened to spill over from her eyes while a look of sheer heart break was on her face.

"You… you weren't supposed to die damnit… we were best friends… family…" Marvell barely choked out, refusing to allow herself to look any more weaker in front of everyone around her while trying to sniffle back the tears that threatened to spill.

Silence dominated the guild hall as everyone couldn't help but frown from hearing and seeing her words while Marvell tried to keep her emotions under control once more. Chelia still had a hard time believing it, sure she was given a rundown about Marvell and her world from the older Sky Dragon Slayer herself, but did that many really die? Gray meanwhile couldn't help but feel guilty from making the girl from 137-C riled up like that. He didn't mean too make it sound like he was accusing her or anything of the sorts.

'Now I feel bad…' He thought to himself while Juvia and a few others merely looked his way, noticing the rather guilt covered expression that had appeared on his face.

"Uh…," Romeo started to say, unsure what to do exactly, "Do you want a hug?" He offered, since from what he remembered hearing from the others of Earthland 137-C Marvell did not like anyone touching her unless she allowed it.

That merely got Marvell to let go of his shirt before flicking him in the forehead, all while pushing her negative feelings down and wiping away the tears that threatened to spill with her other hand.

"No way, you'll just try to get a feel of my growing breasts pressed against you lame-o." She accused, feeling a bit better from her outburst a moment ago.

"No I wouldn't!" Romeo defended himself while raising his hands up in a defensive manner. Marvell merely gave him a blank expression before she sighed in slight sorrow and defeat.

"You're supposed to call me a psycho. It's just not the same…" The older blue haired teen responded while calming herself down further. She would get payback for that Ice Maker Mage for accusing her of something as being uncaring or hating the Romeo she knew back home later. Maybe tie him to a wooden pole and throw him into a gay bar or something. Does Magnolia in this Earthland have those? Eh, she's sure she would find one elsewhere regardless.

Seeing this happening, Observer figured that it was probably for the best to set a new link to another timeline to help get everyone's mind off of this sore subject. And just like that the living constellation turned his attention away from the mortals before channeling his energy into the blue smoke once more like so many times beforehand. Maybe the next alternate reality won't have them all freaking out like idiots for some reason.

Seriously, that alternate Romeo and Layla were simply going to procreate that's all. Why would it be embarrassing to see? He would never understand mortals no matter how long he would be around them.

'IN THE OTHER EARTHLAND, MONTHS LATER'

Layla let out a large breath of relief as she settled the weaved basket of grown potatoes down onto the wooden table before her. It was currently a beautiful day outside with the sun shining brightly down upon the woods and mountains where she and Romeo called home. Sitting down into the nearby wooden chair, she took another breath to ease herself from the small task she gave herself.

"There we go… at least that's it for now." Layla told herself, feeling a smile appear on her face. Normally moving something like a small basket of grown food wouldn't be hard or challenging but at the moment it was just that. Why one may ask?

Well, maybe it would have to do with the rather large pregnant stomach she currently had on her body, as she rubbed the large baby bump with her smile still on her face. Their child was growing quite healthy thankfully so far.

"AH!" Hearing her love, she looked up to see Romeo arriving from gathering more wood from outside to stockpile the collected wood, closing the door behind him as he made his way over towards the older blonde pregnant woman. From his worried yet slightly agitated expression he had; it was clear that he saw her move the basket around. Overprotective he was of her health, yet she couldn't help but admire that trait, "Geez, I'd told you I would take care of the physical labor! Remember, you're pregnant!"

"It's fine. It wasn't that heavy." She assured him. Of course, his concern outweigh her assurance as she closed in, standing in front of her and leaning down a bit to meet her eye to eye due to the fact that she was sitting down.

"I just don't want to risk anything. I'm… I'm going to be a father soon; I want to be able to protect you and our child… our family. Just please leave it to me." Romeo asked of her, concern yet love visible in his eyes.

Layla softly smiled, knowing that Romeo was just looking out for her and their unborn child. Before Romeo could react, she reached out before grabbing him by the shirt and pulling him into a kiss, surprising Romeo before the older blonde mother to be pulled away with her smile still on her.

"Alright… dad." She teased as Romeo gained a large blush on his face, yet that didn't stop the soft smile that appeared on his face.

They truly were happy with one another, and they wouldn't have it any other way.

Yes that was indeed Romeo x Layla you all just read and I regret nothing.

Originally, I was going to have Marvell find out about the sealing of her own Earthland in this chapter, but I couldn't find a way to fit it in here. So next timeline I plan on her finding out in case anyone's curious.

Anyway, so what did you all think? Good? Bad? Let me know.

See you all next time, whenever that will be.
