Hey guys, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I haven't finished this story. And I'm sorry to say I won't finish this version of it. I'm in full swing with newer projects, I'll be back in school in a matter of days and I lost my notebook that housed the outline for what was going to happen in the finale. That was a couple months ago. I referred to it often, and it had every character's ending and how they'd be getting to that point written down. I was going to translate it to Google Docs when I realized it had gone missing. I spent hours, then days looking for it. That was in late October.

But I did have something written down on my computer, a rough draft of the opening paragraphs. I'm posting them here, they were written in July. So here is what could've been New Light.

Previously on Young Justice…

"Why do you guys look so stunned?" Yesenia asked, stopped in her tracks at what she saw.

The six of them all dropped their jaws and stared out. At planet Earth, becoming smaller. And the sun behind it. And all surrounded by the stars.

"Guys, I don't think we are in Kansas anymore." Val said.

The Leviathan, Vandal Savage's personal Star Cruiser.

April 12, 2036

2:41 AM

The team stared out into the abyss known as the solar system as they soon passed Mars. Robin fell to her knees and covered her mouth in her hands.

"Hey! Back in your cell!" A voice shouted from behind them, Rush and Kid Flash turned around to see Snowstrom and Rumbler running towards them, Rush gave his cousin a nod and ran forward. Kid Flash put on his goggles and ran in the other direction to the cell and phased through the wall.

Tempest went to help Rush with the two villains. She slid on the ground under Rumbler's legs and grabbed his ankle, striking him with electricity. He tripped and fell forward, Black Arrow was next to kick him in the face.

Rush ran towards Snowstorm who blasted him with ice, hitting his shoulder he spun around and landed behind her, he tapped her shoulder, she turned around and from the ground Kid Martian came up in front of her. She tried to run but rammed into Red X's chest. He smirked at her and grabbed her wrist and spun her round pulling her in. He placed her in a headlock and Rush punched her square in the nose.

"Let's go, Beetle, Martian, Speedy go find Kid Flash!" Nightshade yelled, "Everyone else, make our way off this ship!"

In a lower level of the ship Kid Flash crept underneath a table in a science lab. He peered around the room, he saw Deadshot on the ground groaning in pain. He got up and examined her. Then a fist appeared by his face.

"Ellie," He chuckled.

"Dylan, where are the others?" Supergirl asked, he stood up and she examined his suit, "And why are you suited up as Kid Flash?"

He didn't care to explain and his attention wavered to a pod. He walked over to it and wiped frost off of the glass to see none other than the face of Terry McGinuss. He jumped backwards and fell on his ass.

"What the hell!?" He exclaimed, Supergirl raised her eyebrow in suspicion.

"It's not a cloning pod, it's a Kryptonian healing pod," She said, then brought attention to two genomorphs on top, "And those things are no doubt altering his brain."

"Wait, so it's not a clone, it's Terry," He said, Ellie nodded in complete shock.

The entire chapter would've taken place on board The Leviathan, and Vandal Savage was to be killed off as well as Dylan West.

I do plan on writing a new version of the entire story. If you want to have your characters involved in attempt number two please leave a review or PM stating such. Once I know who's on the team the first chapter will be written immediately.

That being said, I apologize for this turn of events and want to do better. So hope you have had happy holidays this past season, and a nice time in general.
