"I'm not old enough... in my time."
He scoffed.
"Where I come from, I'm not considered an adult yet."
The heat in his gaze returned full force.
"You appear to be more than grown, in This One's eyes."
"That would get you into trouble in the future. They would call me jail bait."
Her language was perplexing, but he reached for her glass.
"I do not wish to contribute to the delinquency of a minor."
Her touch stopped his movements, and she grabbed the glass back from him.
Looking into his eyes with a saucy smile, she took a sip.
